Philippine Laws / Re: Waiver of Miranda Rights
November 18, 2017, 12:17:21 PM
Quote from: MIKELIGALIG.com on November 13, 2017, 06:07:19 AM
New rights are given explicit recognition
such as, the prohibition against detention by
reason of political beliefs and aspirations.
The waiver of Miranda rights is now
required to be made in writing with the
assistance of counsel. The use of solitary,
incommunicado and secret detention places
is prohibited, while the existence of
substandard and inadequate penal facilities
is made the concern of legislation.

Nakatilaw nakos MB LINER og NORTHERN CARRIER nga maoy mga predecessor sa SAINT JUDE, and I can certainly say without hesitation that Saint Jude was the best of the time. But with the entry of CERES now, dili na ikalalis nga this is much better than the best sa unang panahon. Angayan lang nga pasakyon napod tag humot nga sakyanan dili pareha sauna nga manimaho intawon ming ginamos inig abot sa Tagbilaran. :)

2. Ang PNP-Tagbilaran City walay kalainan sa Baguio City Airport nga - - - - - - ZERO VISIBILITY MOST OF THE TIME.
4. Si Atty. Sabijon dili pistolero kay wa man kabawos paboto.

This brings me to the bigger question of whether masolbad ba ni nga krimen? Matud pas balita, blanko pa ang kapulisan, as usual.

Sikatuna people made the right decision.
Mayor Pangay Ellorimo and Vice-Mayor Juls Manigo answers the universal call for "pro active leaders".
Goodbye sa among Ex-Mayor nga wa juy nahimo except to sign vouchers and other papers.
Goodbye sa Ex-VM nga sobraan ka hyper active, feeling mayor all the time.
The new set of kagawads now is a lot better than the old one.
At least klaro na ilang educational attainment, unlike before nga di ma distinguish kinsay high school level og kinsay grade six kay they all claim to be high school level.

korek! Ngano man kanang discrepancy sa Blood Compact wala may emek ang NHI? Kay dili man sikat ang blood compact? Asa man jud ang tinuod nga blood compact site, sa Bo-ol ba, or sa Loay? NHI should resolve this issue because the blood compact is as historical as the national anthem.

Yes, the Vice-presidency is PGMA's way to eternal political power.
Why?
1. If she wins as VP her political allies will again impeach the President after serving second year.
2. She will again grab the presidency for another three plus (3+) years until 2016.
3. In 2016 PGMA will again run for president.
4. In 2022 PGMA will run for Representative of Pampanga.
5. As Rep of Pampanga PGMA will push for Cha-Cha; shift to Parliamentary System.
6. PGMA will run for Prime Minister.
7. PGMA to eternity. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  ???   ???   ???

Only the Supreme Court can stop Erap from running.
But when will the issue reach the Supreme Court?
Most likely it will reach SC after the election because it has first to go thru a two-level hearing w/in the COMELEC which will take years to finish. We all know how slow the COMELEC resolve cases.
Busa ang mahitabo ani mag election ta una before it will be decided whether Erap can run or not.
Very ironical! So what will happen if Erap wins?  Gubot pas lukot ni!

If I were a decendant of the late GOV. CELESTINO GALLARES, I would have been the first to petition Congress to stop this HEARTLESS hospital from using the good name of Gov. Celestino Gallares. This is not the first heartless act of this hospital. The archives of the DYRD is full of sad stories, about how they were heartlessly entertained by this hospital.  We heard it several times over the air, and yet nothing happened. It would seem that this hospital is already calous.  One of the latest incident happened to one of their nurses who fell sick while on duty but was refused any treatment.  The nurse was brought by her husband to St. Jude Hospital for confinement.  After the Gallares hospital learned about it, they sent an ambulance to St. Jude Hospital to get back their patient.  What kind of government hospital is this?

I think Ingking has a lot of explaining to do to the boholano people, not only for this incident, but because of his failure to stop illegal numbers game in his turf.  He should explain why it took Cebu Police Office to raid the house of the financier in Tagbilaran City.  Ga unsa man diay si Ingking diha?

Freed journalists home in US after NKorea pardon

By ROBERT JABLON, Associated Press Writer Robert Jablon, Associated Press Writer â€" 41 mins ago

BURBANK, Calif. â€" Two American journalists jubilantly reunited with family and friends early Wednesday upon returning to the United States with former President Bill Clinton, whose diplomatic trip to North Korea secured their release nearly five months after their arrests.

The jet carrying Euna Lee and Laura Ling, reporters for Al Gore's San Francisco-based Current TV, and Clinton arrived at Burbank's Bob Hope Airport at dawn. Clinton met with communist leader Kim Jong Il on Tuesday to secure the women's release.

Lee emerged from the jetliner first and was greeted by husband Michael Saldate and 4-year-old daughter Hana. She hugged the girl and picked her up before all three embraced in a crushing hug as TV networks beamed the poignant moment live.

Ling embraced her husband, Iain Clayton, as teary family members crowded around.

"The past 140 days have been the most difficult, heart-wrenching days of our lives," Ling said, her voice cracking.

Thirty hours ago, Ling said, "We feared that any moment we could be sent to a hard labor camp."

Then, she said, they were taken to another location.

"When we walked through the doors, we saw standing before us President Bill Clinton," she said to applause. "We were shocked but we knew instantly in our hearts that the nightmare of our lives was finally coming to an end, and now we stand here, home and free."

Clinton came down the stairs to applause. He hugged Gore, then chatted with family members.

Gore described the families of the two women as "unbelievable, passionate, involved, committed, innovative."

"Hana's been a great girl while you were gone," he told Lee. "And Laura, your mom's been making your special soup for two days now."

He also thanked the State Department for its help in the release.

"It speaks well of our country that when two American citizens are in harm's way, that so many people will just put things aside and just go to work to make sure that this has had a happy ending," he said.

After 140 days in custody, the reporters were granted a pardon by North Korea on Tuesday, following rare talks between Clinton and the reclusive North Korea leader. They had been sentenced to 12 years of hard labor for entering the country illegally.

The women were kept in enforced isolation and fed poor-quality food, Ling's sister said.

"They were kept apart most of the time. ... On the day of their trial, they hugged each other and that was it," Lisa Ling told reporters outside her sister's home in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.

"She's really, really anxious to have fresh fruit and fresh food. She said there were rocks in her rice. Obviously, it's a country that has a lot of economic problems.

"The little bit that she was able to recount of her experience of the last 4 1/2 months has been challenging for us to hear," Lisa Ling said. "She's my little sister but she's a very, very strong girl and a determined person."

Ling's husband told reporters that his wife had spent more time in North Korea than in their North Hollywood home, which they bought in November shortly before she went overseas.

"It was very lonely," Clayton said. "One of the hardest things was obviously coming home every night, and there were reminders of her in the house."

The women, dressed in short-sleeved shirts and jeans, appeared healthy as they prepared to leave North Korea. They shook hands with Clinton before getting into the jet, exclusive APTN footage from Pyongyang showed. Clinton waved, put his hand over his heart and then saluted.

North Korean state TV showed Clinton's departure, and North Korean officials waving to the plane, but did not show images of the two journalists.

Speaking on the White House lawn just before leaving on a trip to Indiana, President Barack Obama said the administration is "extraordinarily relieved" that the pair has been set free. He said he had spoken to their families once the two were safely aboard a plane out of Pyongyang.

"The reunion we've all seen on television, I think, is a source of happiness not only for the families but also for the entire country," Obama said.

Ling was later seen entering her mother's home in the Los Angeles suburb of Toluca Lake, while Lee was spotted going into her home in Los Angeles.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Clinton will fill in Obama's national security team on what transpired during his trip as a private envoy to Pyongyang.

He reiterated that Clinton did not carry a message from Obama to Kim.

"If there wasn't a message, there certainly couldn't have been an apology," Gibbs said.

When asked whether the release of the journalists could lead to a breakthrough on other issues such as North Korea's nuclear program, Gibbs said that will depend on the actions of the communist regime.

"The people that walked away from the obligations they agreed to were not anybody involved on our side," Gibbs said. "It was the North Koreans."

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton hailed the journalists' release.

"I spoke to my husband on the airplane and everything went well," she told reporters in Nairobi, Kenya. "They are extremely excited to be reunited soon when they touch down in California. It was just a good day to be able to see this happen."

Ling, a 32-year-old California native, is the younger sister of Lisa Ling, a correspondent for CNN as well as "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "National Geographic Explorer." Lee, 36, is a South Korean-born U.S. citizen.

They were arrested near the North Korean-Chinese border in March while on a reporting trip for Current TV.

The release also amounted to a successful diplomatic foray for the former president, who traveled as an unofficial envoy, with approval and coordination from the administration. He was uniquely positioned for it as the only recent president who had considered visiting North Korea while in office, and one who had sent his secretary of state, Madeleine Albright.

His landmark visit to Pyongyang to free the Americans was a coup that came at a time of heightened tensions over North Korea's nuclear program.

The meeting also appeared aimed at dispelling persistent questions about the health of the authoritarian North Korean leader, who was said to be suffering from chronic diabetes and heart disease before the reported stroke. The meeting was Kim's first with a prominent Western figure since the reported stroke.

Pardoning Ling and Lee and having Clinton serving as their emissary served both North Korea's need to continue maintaining that the two women had committed a crime and the Obama administration's desire not to expend diplomatic capital winning their freedom, said Daniel Sneider, associate director of research at Stanford University's Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center.

"Nobody wanted this to be a distraction from the more substantially difficult issues we have with North Korea," he said. "There was a desire by the administration to resolve this quietly and from the very beginning they didn't allow it to become a huge public issue."

Discussions about normalizing ties with North Korea went dead when George W. Bush took office in 2001 with a hard-line policy on Pyongyang. The Obama administration has expressed a willingness to hold bilateral talks â€" but only within the framework of the six-nation disarmament talks in place since 2003.

North Korea announced earlier this year it was abandoning the talks involving the two Koreas, Japan, Russia, China and the U.S. The regime also launched a long-range rocket, conducted a nuclear test, test-fired a barrage of ballistic missiles and restarted its atomic program in defiance of international criticism and the U.N. Security Council.

that is expected of a city wherein ang Mayor og ang Vice-Mayor morag iring og iro cge lang og binanghagay inawayay.
walay trabaho nga mahimo.
and the casualty is the basic services.
so what we have are bad roads and garbage.
#37
that's it, DEATH TOURISM, the first of its kind in the world, only in Bohol.
#38
or we may call it as BOHOL'S DEATH TOURISM, meaning, we invite tourists to go there and die there.
#39
The Mayor of the place should do a "mea maxima culpa" admission of his failure to put a warning sign never to get near the falls because it may get wild anytime.
#40
this is the downside of our boholano hospitality trait.
we are too trusting even with people nga dili nato kaila.
apan ang atong silingan nga nakaila jud ta dili ta magpabaylo og kwarta.
#41
no concrete footpath, no defined parking lot, no nothing, nagkaranrakas lang ang agi.
sagbot kaayo.
tanawa ra gud ninjo og unsay injong ika sulti.
so far its the worst City Hall I've seen.
#42
i'm not surprised.
the mayor has not even cleaned the surroundings of his City Hall, so how can we expect him to deal with the garbage of the entire city?
just look at the very dirty City Hall and that's it.
#43
the adventure tourism is already for Danao.
kaya pwede ba, be original!  :o
#44
ngil ngig nga kamatayon.  :(   :(   :(
it may not be their time yet had there been a proper precautionary warning placed on the area not to get near the falls because it may get wild anytime.
and i believe the Mayor should take the blame for this tragedy.
i heard that the municipal government is imposing entrance fees for visitors of this nature park.
ergo, og maningil kag bayad para unsa man na?
you have to spend that for something to benefit the paying public.
this is an eye opener.
if the municipal government cannot put precautionary measures in place, it's better to close this from the public.
otherwise, this will become a first of its kind called DEATH TOURISM, meaning we invite tourist to come there to die.
#45
The Ombudsman has become "graft coddler" instead of graft buster.
This office should be dissolved.
#46
Mao ni kahibulongan.
Apan dunay bodegero sa NFA in Cebu gi convict sa Ombudsman.  Ang sentence is dismissal from service with forfeiture of retirement benefits, and perpetual disqualification from reemployment in the government service.  Ang iyang atraso is shortage of about 500 empty sacks.
#47
In short: ang city government daghang sulti way buhat.
And I will reiterate here nga ilang city hall hugaw kaayo.
#48
here's my two cents worth of win-win solution: let them pay a fine (say P50,k each) and give them a two year phase out period aron maka bawi pod sila sa investment pagtukod sa structure.  after all the municipality is not blameless here kay og nag monitor pa sila pirme, walay illegal structure nga mobarug diha.
#49
Knowing how America cares for its citizens who comes in conflict with foreign laws, i'm sure this two ladies will be freed soon.  Just like what happened to Evan Hunziker in 1996 who was also sentenced to a labor camp in North Korea but was released after three months.  A similar deal for this two ladies is in the offing.

Swerte sila kay amerkano man.  Og na Pinoy pa, "p  a  t  a  y" sila.  Pero konsuelo de bobo kay himoon man pod nga "bayaning ofw".

#50
No wonder why they jumped.
The 25 mayors belonged to the Partido Lakas-Kampi, in short PALAKA.
That's why they jumped.
#51
In last night's news, the DOH did a "mia culpa mea maxima culpa" admission for their delayed result of the test that caused the Borja Clinic to release the patient ahead.

So with this mess caused by DOH's inaction, the ball is now thrown to our provincial leadership to institute measures to contain the possible spread of the virus.  So I hope our provincial leadership is not just dreaming of having a modern international airport in panglao.  I hope they're not just passive beneficiaries of the tourism boom.  They must show us now their proactive measures against this kinds of treat that goes with the influx of tourists in our province.
#52
Ok Sir, we can request our friends there in Tagbilaran to post some pictures of the City Hall here in TB para makita nato unsa ka topsyturvy og hugaw ang ilang nataran.
#53
But I dont see the point of their fighting.
Look at their house, called City Hall. It's a pity. Hugaw kaayo.
Please make some landscaping.
Please remove the cogon grasses.  Its an eye sore.
Please make at least a concrete footh path para sa mga tawo nga bout mosulod.
Please arrange the parking area. Topsyturvy is the right description for this.
It's ironical they want to enforce order in the streets and yet they cannot enforce order in their own parking lot.
They better do their job first than fight.
#54
sige mo panggiaway wa man gani mo maka landscape sa inyo city hall.
that's the only city hall throughout the country nga perte ka topsyturvy from the outside.
no defined walk way, no defined parking space, no bermuda or carabao grass, no sign of life.
pastilan.
pahuway mo oi.
#55
"persona non grata" is applicable only in diplomatic relations, as a form of punishment against a foreign service officer who commits an offense against the host state.
walay effect na kang Hayden Kho.
even if all municipalities will do a similar declaration that wont stop him from going to bohol.
#56
mo serve ba sila og "kinutil" (tuba + tableya + royal tru-orange + egg)?
#57
Bitaw, dili ni pag unsa, if we are to rate all our government offices in terms of orderliness in their system, morag kining LTO ang pinaka "disorderly and topsyturvy".  I've been to a lot of LTO offices through out the country by chance, og mao jud na ang akong nakita.  I really wonder why can't they adopt the system of the SSS, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig, and all other offices where people also flock everyday!
And talking of arrogance also, forgive me to say this, but it's only in the LTO nga ang mga empleyado kusog mag singka singka.  It's only in the LTO where ang mga taxpayers singkahan lang og security guard.
About fixers, well, they exist because the LTO allows them.  Have you heard of fixers in the SSS, Philhealth, or Pag-Ibig?

This may sound superstitious but believe me you.
In this fight with Ruiz, he was introduced as From Tagbilaran City, as when he fought with De Leon. He lost both fights.
But when he fought with Marquez and others, as From Candijay Bohol, he won.
You can check the tapes of all his previous fights.
So he better be proud of his true birthplace Candijay than his adopted residence, which is, Tagbilaran City.  ???  ???  ???

P60M road opens new
agro-economic route

The P60-million Sikatuna-Loboc road is opening a new agri-ecotourism route that can help accelerate development.

While serving eco-tourism, the road at the same time hastens the flow of trade between farms and markets.

The horizontal infrastructure, which cementing phase in the Sikatuna side is on-going, is equally vital to education.

It serves as a convenient access to the Balilihan Campus of the Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry and Technology (CVSCAFT), an infant extension but which student number has already doubled.

Delegates to the recent United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) - 6th International Tourism Forum for Parliamentarians and Local Authorities which was held in Cebu had passed the route in their technical visit to Bohol.

Tourists and visitors preferring the said route can take satisfying stops at the Corella sanctuary of tarsier, world's smallest and oldest living primate, and natural tree park in Sikatuna.

The tarsier sanctuary has undergone landscaping at P1.5 million secured by Rep. Edgar Chatto from the Department of Tourism (DOT) and implemented by the local government unit and Philippine Tarsier Foundation.

Another improvement there is the rise of a fine hostel/welcome center funded by the Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA).

Guests and tourists are encouraged to plant trees at the Sikatuna natural tree park to contribute to the global advocacy against climate change.

From Corella and Sikatuna, the road snakes out to Loboc, where "angels sing through the children" and river cruised by floating restaurants.

It then connects to Carmen where the wondrous Chocolate Hills never cease to enchant human sights and force imagination astray.

The new agro-eco-tourism road leads to the river cruise passing by the lush farmlands.

Chatto funded the concreting of the Sikatuna stretch of the interior route while Rep. Jala improved the Loboc side. (Ven rebo Arigo)

Corella - Bohol / Need for Inventory of Tarsiers
November 16, 2008, 01:43:26 PM
http://www.boholchronicle.com/2008/nov/16/major6.htm

Need for inventory of tarsiers

Tarsiers, considered as the mascot for Bohol is now like signature shirts displayed in places visited by tourists.

This, after the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) reportedly gave new permitees the right to bring tarsiers in their areas of business. Coupled with this setback of DENR's role as supposed protector of these tarsiers is the lack of inventory of tarsiers up to this day.

A survey conducted yesterday by dyRD's "Radyo Merkado," a weekly public affairs program, registered a resounding call for government authorities to take drastic action on how to preserve these tarsiers.

The public clamor to conserve the tarsier came after reports surfaced that new tarsier display areas were recently issued permits by DENR. These are in Loay, Panglao, Sagbayan and Albur towns.

PENRO Nestor Canda confirmed to the Chronicle that new permits were issued by the regional DENR offices without passing through the local DENR.

Respondents of the survey expressed concern on the life span of the tarsiers, considered endangered, if no inventories be made especially that they are being "commercialized" at the various display centers.

"One day Boholanos will wake up with no more tarsiers to be part of the tourism jewel of the province," most of the respondents said.

The radio program was jammed with calls and text messages expressing concern for the preservation of tarsiers, citing that the natural habitat in Corella should be enhanced in order to project that indeed these tarsiers are being "taken care by the Boholanos."

Presently, most tourists will get to see the tarsiers after taking their lunch at the Loboc River floating restaurants. It maybe noted that complaints were recently received regarding the imposition of P50 to view tarsiers in Loboc town.

With this recent development on new issuance of permits by DENR, the Tarsier Foundation, Inc. based in Corella town is contemplating for its possible closure if government will fail in its role to protect the tarsiers.

:)   :)   :) Lin, it’s not to discriminate them but to professionalize our public offices.
Bakikaw man gud kaayo huna-hunaon nga duna kitay mga Mayor, Bise Mayor, og Konsehal nga dili gani madawat sa Alturas og BQ tungod kay ang minimum qualification for a Merchandiser or Promo-diser is College Graduate.

1. College graduate, entitled to two votes, plus 1 additional vote kada degree course nga matapos.
2. Post-graduate, entitled to three votes, plus 1 additional vote kada post-grad course nga matapos.

LGU Philippines / Re: How to Win In An Election

There are two (2) tried, proven and tested formula to win in an election:
1. "dagdag bawas"
2. "vote buying"
#78
Yes, that's true. That's how shameful it is. Aside from the five (5) NIA grafters who got sued for this mess, the boholanos should blame the following agencies:

1.) The Commission Or Audit (COA), kay dili kamao mo compute og "percentage accomplishment". 165M over 243M equals 0.679%! So kun migasto na og 165M, dapat almost 70% accomplishment na unta.

2.) The Ombudsman, kay labaw pa sa COA. Wa mag compute mituo lang pod dayon sa taga COA hook line and sinker.

Ang resulta, the five (5) grafters are now as free as the wind blows.
#79

This is the trademark of an Ombudsman's decision.  Sue a clerk and they will dismiss the clerk from service.  But sue a high ranking official, and they will dismiss the case.

Election is just a mile away. Many are planning to run for  elective position.
This is the last term of Hon. Vito Rapal. Who will run for  mayor in 2010.?
Probably, Ondong Bolando the vice mayor is aiming for. Although quite old
but politically capable to be the next mayor. Is there any indications that
the wife or son of the incumbent mayor will repalce him?. In  our place  in
Davao del Sur, after the congressman finished his last term, his son take
over and he run for governor. His wife also run for board member They were
all elected .This is true in many places of the country.  Lolong Ado  is the
the best choice for vice mayor or Mayor Rapal will go down for vice to finish
his projects and program for Corella.

I think its to early to talk on these at this time.

The 2010 election in Corella will be dubbed as the "Unfinished Business - Tocmo vs Bolando"

Durano urges mayors to develop attractions

Bohol Chronicle
Sept. 7, 2008

Tourism Secretary Joseph Ace Durano called on town mayors in the province to develop viable tourist destinations in their respective municipalities.

Durano issued the appeal after he expressed elation on the enthusiasm of LGU Sikatuna in developing the eco-tourism destination, the Sikatuna Tree Park.

Sikatuna Vice Mayor Tranquilina Maniwang received the DOT secretary's commendation for actively developing a site which was conceived in response to a call for an environment-friendly destination.

Town mayors hold a great role in developing new destinations, he stressed while urging them to be receptive and dynamic once tourism stakeholders will provide them with ideas on what are saleable to the visiting tourists.

Durano led tourism attaches of the country during a tree planting activity last Friday.

The visiting tourism officials noted the dynamic interaction with the local residents in the area while town and barangay leaders led by Mayor Ireneo Calimpusan were there to welcome the tourism officials.

Sec. Durano said he picked the right place for his tourism attaches to hold their annual planning workshop. He admitted that other areas as Batangas, Palawan were also considered but it was Bohol which was chosen because of what it can offer for a truly "countryside tour."

The group also visited the Tarsier natural habitat in Corella town where Mayor Vito Rapal was on hand for the welcome reception. A lunch at Rio Grande Floating Resto in Loay town and fireflies watching at night completed the tour which came after their two-day working sessions at the Panglao Island Nature Resort. Loay Mayor May Imboy was also on hand to welcome the visiting tourism attaches.

They conducted resort inspection at new properties like Amarela, Amorita, Alona Palm, Eskaya and Peacock Garden where they had their lunch last Wednesday.

We cannot do away with scrap metal business because they are like the janitor fish in your aquarium.
What will you do with our scrap metals which are not good for the mother earth either?
Let's just treat this business as necessary evil.
So the way to deal with them is thru strict regulation, like: requiring them to put up a performance bond in favor of the municipal government, with the condition that the bond will be forfeited everytime a violation of law or ordinance is committed;  and after every forfeiture they will be required to put up a new one or else face closure and criminal prosecution.
Tanawon nato og magbinuang pa ba sila! Mahurot ilang ginansya og magbinuang sila.

Is the National Youth Commission (NYC) Terribly Corrupt?

I believe so, and I wouldn't be surprised because that's how they were taught.
They were taught the corrupt way of "vote buying" as a mode of entering public office.
Naturally, they will become what they were trained to be.

Anyway, here's the missing part of the SONA, translated in binisaya for general consumption.

TINUOD NGA SONA

Pekat, Noli, Loren, Mar, Manny ug Ping!

Kon tag-iya kag barko, hinumdomi ning mosunod:

1.      Kon patugatuga kag larga bisan bagyo, kinahanglan nga andam kang moangkon sa responsibilidad kon unsa may mahitabo sa barko, mga pasahero ug mga kargamento;

2.    Ayaw panaginot og usa ka biyahe sa usa ka barko kay kon mabulilyaso mahimong makanselar ang tanang biyahe sa tanan nimong barko;

       a.     Philippine Coast Guard (seguro kang insultuhon sa Board of Marine Inquiry, kay sila ra man say nagduma, ug peligrong rondahon ang imong container yard, labi kon may gitagoan kang smuggled nga asukar);

       b.    Ginoo (seguro kang kasab-an sa mga Obispo); o

       c.     PAG-ASA (daghan untang modason sa imong pasangil, apan nauna na nimog tulisok ang coast guard ug ang Ginoo).

4.    Kon makadawat kag distress call gikan sa kapitan, lihok dayon bisan kon adlawng Sabado ug bisan kon nadaot ang sistema sa komunikasyon tungod sa bagyo;

5.     Kon mopasalig ka nga nilihok dayon ka pag-atiman sa mga pasahero sukad sa unang adlaw, seguroha nga nilihok ka sa una pa lang gutlo, kay lisod ipasabot nganong ang imong laing barko maoy labing kataposan nga nahiabot sa dapit nga nalunoran;
