OffTopic: anyways, i think the offtopic replies should be minimized. Users tend to post reaction on the previous user's postings other than the initial topic itself. I guess, moderators should regularly check this one.

i suggest for those who want to stay dubai to please read some news first regarding visas. There are lot of changes with the visa applications here. Before, you can just come here. stay for 2 months while finding work & if you cannot find work, "exit" to nearby countries and apply for another visa.

However, recently the government had stopped the "exit" to other countries. thus, one has to go to home country before another visa will be given.

If that's the case, sobrang lugi ang tawo na manimpalad diri. unless, he can find work before his first visa expired.

and also note to ask your fellow boholanos before paying other people for your visa & tickets. ako, nailad ko sa akong own tita pag-ari nako. instead of paying 35k for the visa & ticket, i paid 50k. and still, ingon pa siya na wala daw siya na-kita sa akong pag-ari. haaay.

by the way, please dont be misled. I am more of a math-lover than an accounting wizard. :-) people who knows me would say i'm better off an engineer than a cpa. i should have been an engineering stude but i cannot afford all the things you guys need for drawing etc.... so when i was in college, my course really put me into the apec of boredom. however, when i ventured in the world of reality, later did i realize that i've chosen the best for me.

I have an answer for that. Basically, you really need to use the long process for you to answer questions fall in between. Every additions and every subtractions is important because in the end, you might regret not solving it the "long" cut.

There are only minimal transactions for which math logic can be used. maybe bonds & investments... however, you cannot use it on more complicated accounting transactions.

i beg to disagree. Math in Engineering is only math. Math in accounting is with deep analysis. unless you are an accounting graduate, you cannot tell the complexities of the course.

Maybe one of the reasons why Board Exam passers percentage for CPAs is always lower than Engineering subjects.

I love PDAs. Sobrang useful siya. It has word, excel, powerpoint, notes...etc. when I came here to Dubai, I can easily send my resumes to email adds I see on the streets. i can chat even when i'm in the road, since Dubai has various wifi hotspots.

it's nice pero i think it would make you dumb. ky instead of trying to figure out how to transfer files from one gadget to another, you would just simply drag.

and i guess, you need to have gadgets also of special specifications ( such as bluetooth or infra) for you to use the features. for example, can I use the ordinary digicam for that? There would be no other connection from computer to  my cam aside from the cable.

I tried checking this unit last month, but the features didn't amaze me. Ang touchscreen sobrang hassle..mas gusto pa guihapon nako ang stylus.. and the I dont want phone ran on a symbian OS.
