Come inside let's talk in my kitchen.



Lingkod lang asa ka gusto. Kung si Glacier naay Banagbanag ug si Dori este BlueAngel naay lantay ako naay kusina.Dili lang kini kusina nga kusina kundi kusina kini sa kinaadman hehhehe.Sa tanang part sa balay ang Kitchen akong favorite. In my kitchen I welcome everybody.In my kitchen I cook,I cry,I laugh and l learn new things. In my kitchen I nurture my love ones,feed the hungry souls and I learn to love more my life. Sa kusina naggikan ang lamas sa kinabuhi,sa kusina magtapok ang pamilya,mag estorya ug bisan unsa ug mao usab kining akong kusina.
Una maghisgot ta sa mga butang nga sa una wa koy idea. Pag abot nako diri sa akong kusina wa ko kabalo nga ang adlaw diay sa america mosawop ug dugay. Di ba sa atua mosawop alas 6 ngitngit na diri tingaa ko pag abot wa pa gani mi motugpa ingon ang piloto welcome to san francisco the time is 7 oclock in the evening. Wa ko motuo pag una unsaon adlawan pa mang dako abi nako nasayop ang piloto ug diay sakto siya kay mosawop jud diay ang adlaw diri ug summer mga 9 oclock mao pay sugod ngitngit.

Mao kini akong giluto rong adlawa nga recipe sa akong kusina.
Easy Spaghetti & Meatballs
1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 large egg, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Vegetable cooking spray
1 jar (26 to 30 ounces) prepared spaghetti sauce
3 cups cooked pasta
In large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape mixture into twelve meatballs.
Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Brown meatballs 6 to 8 minutes or until no longer pink, turning occasionally. Add spaghetti sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve meatballs and sauce over cooked pasta.

miz, isa ka order nga arroz caldo og isa ka pinaka bugnaw nga coks plezzz  ;D


ka nindot ba sa imong kusina Raqz, limpio or areglo ang gamit....mag cge guro kog tambay dri kaysa  sa suok ni Blue...na bawog na man tawn tong ijang lantay woi, bug-at2x cguro si Blue hehehe...  ;D

pa tudlo ko nimog cooking2x Raqz, nindto dri kay ma busog sab tah..  ;D

Mama Mia! it is so nice to see a very clean kitchen! Kitchen is my heaven too! i dont cook a lot because we dont eat much but i always stay here than anywhere else in the house!

Kel ang akong guto himuon kadto gani imong dessert nga murag pudding? ako man to gikopya ako to utingkajun! naa kuy daghan frozen fruits nga andam na para himuon, blueberries, straberries, raspberries (mingaw ko ginger  :-[ ) mag himo ko ug jam dayun maghimo ko adto imong pudding Kel!

Sa akong kusina ganahan pud ko magtindog ani nga spot makig estorya estorya samtang naglantaw sa gawas sa langgam ba ron nga nanugpa sa kahoy nga ash tree ug dili man gani magtan aw sa mga manok nga gisegi ug luros sa akong mga anak nga way pagsupak bisan gamay mosugot intawon bitbit biton nga murag bag ra, usahay pud among barn cat ganahan magpa atbang aning akong kusina magsegi panghilam os.Daghan talan awon makapahupay sa kamingaw sa gawas aning akong kusina.

Uwan tibook adlaw ug makita kini sa akong kusina.Ang mga manok wa mogawas apil ang mga langgam ug iring.Ang tinagaktang lang sa uwan sa bintana imong masud ong.
Sa bag o pa ko diri di jud ko motuo ug weather forecast hehehe. Ug moingon rain mosupak ko kay botbot ra lagi pastilan tinuod man diay heheheh.Accurate kaayo ning mga weather forecaster diri mura ka accurate sa paghubad ni Koddi sa akong mga damgo hahahah. Ug ting uwan bitaw murag wa tay gana maglihok lihok baw kamo basta ako ma lausy akong adlaw.
Nagpreto ko ug kamote karong adlawa sa akong kusina,among panihapon puro left over like left over pancit ug adobong manok .Ang manok giparesan ug mashed potato.

Wa paman ko ka luto ug aroz caldo sa akong kusina hahahah tinughong nuon aw champorado ba na ug binignit naa available.Gusto ka binignit nga bulgor naa pud. Ang kusina akong kalipay nga dapit sa balay ug diri ko permi magtindog Jams magluto ug manghinlo permi.Favorite place ni sa akong mga anak sad kay ug naa ko sa kusina mag lingkod ra akong mga anak sa kitchen counter unya sindang usap ug mag storya storya mi bisan unsa.

Lutua na imong mga frozen berries diha. Diay quick recipe oh para sa imong raspberry. Gihatdan ko ug raspberry sa akong amiga pila to ka box wa abti ug oras nahurot man ug kaon kaon nako ug sa mga bata inay ako tong lutuon.
Quick Raspberry Mousse recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of evaporated skim milk, well chilled.
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
½ teaspoon of cinnamon.
1 tablespoon of gelatin.
¼ cup of boiling water.
2 tablespoons of orange juice, freshly squeezed.
1 cup of raspberries, fresh or frozen.
1 tablespoon of apple juice concentrate.

Preparation Instructions:

Beat the milk, vanilla and cinnamon until thick, creamy and doubled in size.

Dissolve the gelatine in boiling water, add the orange juice and fold in the milk mixture.

Add the raspberries and apple juice concentrate.

Pour the mixture into a mould or dessert goblets and refrigerate until firm.

Kamong duha pagpujo  mo kay basin malapwaan mo aring init nga sabaw sa tinuwa. Ang di magbehave sa akong kusina tornohan ug pabungay aring among palibot sa bay.Mao unja ni injong torno hahahah.

Cook sausage in a heavy skillet. Remove sausage with a slotted spoon; set aside for a later use.

Over medium heat, stir 3 tablespoons of flour into the grease. Stir constantly until browned, about 5 minutes.
Stirring constantly, pour in 1 cup of regular milk.
Season with salt and pepper.
Continue stirring until the gravy is thick.

bilib ko sa imo banana Raqz, maajo ang diskarte...tama jud nga apil ka sa payroll apil bayad og SSS og taxes para naa kay imong personal nga pension later on, at least 10 years work history naa na man pension. parehas pud sa pinas dw 10 yrs minimum work history...og kulang pa gani, pwde mag volutnary SS payments para moabot og 10 yrs...para doble ang pension buh  ;D

Mang snacks sa ta sa akong kusina. Gutmon man pud tag katawa ni Dori este Blue ug ni Nemo este Jamo.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Recipe
Cake Ingredients:   
2 Sticks(One cup)   Butter
3   Eggs
2 1/2 cups   Flour
1 cup   Granulated Sugar
1/2 cup   Pumpkin(canned or fresh pureed)
1/2 cup   Sour Cream
1 teaspoon   Vanilla
2 teaspoons   Baking Powder
1 teaspoon   Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon   Baking Soda
1/3 teaspoon(or less)   Salt
Filling Ingredients:   
8 ounces   Cream Cheese
1/3 cup   Granulated Sugar
1   Egg
1/4 cup   Canned Pumpkin
1 tablespoon   Corn Starch
1/2 teaspoon   Vanilla
Preparation Directions:
Filling Preparation:

In a mixing bowl, beat ingredients until very smooth.
Set aside and prepare cake batter.
Pour into glass dish on top of batter as described in cake instructions below.
For Cake:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Mix in pumpkin and sour cream. Blend thoroughly until smooth.
Pour 1/2 of batter into a buttered 13x9 inch glass baking dish.
Add the filling mix, spreading the batter evenly in the dish.
Add remaining batter and lightly swirl into filling.
Bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Cut into twelve servings
Serving Tips and Suggestions:
Add Whipped cream on top when serving.

Man o man. I miss home cuz everything is stocked up. Diri sa medical school..o man. im livin day by day jud. too much time studying and not enough time buying food. :P

Oak man siguro ni Bran, Yes we are stocking up food for the winter. You know we live in the country so if ice storm hit or a big winter storm hit us here all the road will be close and there's no way out. Ma freeze to death and starve to death pa una ang naa sa countryside before help come mao permi ready in event of natural disaster.Mura mig boys scout always prepared.
One disadvantage of living in the countryside is layo sa supermarket it take us 20 minutes drive to the nearest food store,walmart so para makasave ug trip kanunay gyud mi nakastock up para tagsa nalang mag shopping for grocery ug ubang necessities . We have two big freezer in the basement full of meats,seafoods and vegestable in event of emergency hahahha. Kami pinakalast magutman diri in case naay big food delivery disruption kay permi man ready whole year round.Ug mga marama sad ning akong mga amiga nga Filipino kay ingon nila ug magkainunsaon daw diri sila sa amoa mamakwit.
Welcome tanan sa akong kusina as long as di lang mamili ug pagkaon heheheh.

kini among palibot sa among balay our farm ground.Imagine how isolated we are.You will never find food here during winter so lucky kaayo mo naa sa warm places pareha sa atua kay bisan way bugas mabuhi gihapon kay daghan alternatives.Di lang ta mamatay sa kagutom diri kundi sa katugnaw pud.Mao ni view sa akong kusina among harvested soybean field ni.Kanang nagblue nga kahoy mao nay among silingan hahaha duol nga silingan hehehe

u reminded me of my sugbang isda gabii...frozen man duha ka big fish, morag bangus ang ichura pero forget naho ang ngan, lisod butangan og lamas...gi butang naho sa hot oven sugod ng luto...half cooked na mao pay ako butang og tanglad...wa na nako butangi og sibuyas og kamatis ang tijan sa isda...tangad lng og asin, og black pepper...1st tym naho butang og tangad sa tiyan sa isda....wowo success!! humota uyyyy...nalamian jud cla sa ahong sinugba...nag fellowship mig tagay og kaon2x gabii samtang nag kanta2x :)

btaw Raqz tugnaw na sab dri sa amoa...wa diay mga deer diha sa injo Raqz? naa ko naka uban sa FL last sumer, taga chicago sab to hilig og deer hunting og salmon fishing, mao na ila karne butang sa ila freezers....redi for winter :)

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 boneless pork chops, 3/4-inch thick (about 1 pound)
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
3/4 cup milk
1 package (1 ounce) ranch salad dressing mix
Paprika
Ranch-Style Rice

Directions:

Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook until well browned on both sides.
Stir the soup, milk and 1/2 package salad dressing mix in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the pork is cooked through. Sprinkle with the paprika.
Serve with the Ranch-Style Rice.

Zucchini Bread Recipe
INGREDIENTS
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla

2 teaspoons baking soda
Pinch salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1 cup dried cranberries or raisins (optional)
METHOD
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix in the grated zucchini and then the melted butter. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour, a third at a time. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and nutmeg and mix. Fold in the nuts and dried cranberries or raisins if using.
2 Divide the batter equally between 2 buttered 5 by 9 inch loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour (check for doneness at 50 minutes) or until a wooden pick inserted in to the center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Turn out onto wire racks to cool thoroughly.
Makes 2 loaves.

3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
DIRECTIONS
In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, paprika, chili powder and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside half of the sauce.
Preheat broiler.
Brush both sides of the chops with sauce. Place chops on broiling pan rack. Broil about 4 inches from the heat for 4 minutes on each side. Brush with more sauce. Continue broiling, turning and basting every 3 to 4 minutes, until juices run clear. Serve with reserved sauce.

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon sugar
2 oranges, cut into sections
Flour as needed

Brown chops in oil. Pour off drippings. Season chops with salt and pepper.
Combine juices, honey, spices and sugar. Pour over chops. Cover tightly and cook on low heat for 45 minutes. Add orange sections and cook just until heated through. Remove chops.
Thicken pan liquid with flour for gravy and spoon over hot chops.

Paprika for garnish

Pop out (remove) the egg yolks to a small bowl and mash with a fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard powder, vinegar,sugar,prepared mustard, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Fill the empty egg white shells with the mixture and sprinkle lightly with paprika.

Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one day before serving.

Iyang cake wala wala ra ni sa Cake ni Grazie.

gamay ra kay walay mangaon ug cake sa among family kaayo.Dia pay daghan sobra diri.Ari mo sa ahong kusina kay idalit ri nako ninyo.

Mao ni akong giluto nga nagrepresent sa Filipino Food which way poy hilig ang family sa akong bana baw murag gamay ramay nakuha paghuman party.

Kita man tanan kabawo moluto ani so di nalang nako ni pakapinan ug recipe

Mao ni akong gibanatan ang Cheese Ball appetizer kay parat parat ug lami gyud ang cream cheese ba.

recipe Ham Cheeseball

12 ounces cream cheese
1 cup grated ham (can use canned ham)
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 bell pepper, finely chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt, pepper, parsley and garlic salt to taste
1 cup chopped pecans

Mix all except pecans. Roll into ball, then chill until firm. Roll ball in chopped pecans.

Our main dish is Italian Beef in a Bun



3 1/2 to 4 pounds beef roast, sirloin tip or rump roast
12 ounces (jar) Italian Giardiniera, drained, less if you want it less spicy
12 ounces (jar) pepperoncini peppers
1 envelope Italian salad dressing (zesty Italian)
10 ounce can condensed beef broth
Preparation:

Place beef roast in a 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker. Combine Giardiniera, pepperoncini peppers, dry salad dressing mix, and condensed beef broth.
Add all mixture to crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for 12 to 14 hours, until meat is very tender. Use a fork to shred for sandwiches and serve with crusty Italian rolls or just ordinary bun.

Nabusy ko panghinlo ug butang wood care sa akong mga cabinet ug uban pa mao nalimot ko sa oras hapit na tingpaniudto. Gadali dali ko ug luto ug spaghetti ang meatballs basta gani magdali ko mao ni madali nako ug luto or any hamburger related cooking.

favorite ni sa akong bana akong spaghetti kay puro made from scratch.Apil akong father inlaw nga di man unta ni moangay mokaon ug spaghetti ganahan daw siya sa akong spaghetti.Unsaon naanad man ni sila ug pakan on atong spaghetti nga ready made.
Here's the recipe
Ingredients:

Meatballs:
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
3 slices bread, crumbled
2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 clove garlic, smashed, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Sauce:
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, smashed and minced
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried leaf oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried leaf basil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 large can (28 to 36 ounces total) crushed Italian tomatoes
2 cans (6 ounces each) tomato paste
16 ounces thin spaghetti
Parmesan cheese
Preparation:

Recipe for spaghetti and meatballs
Make meatballs. In a medium bowl, beat eggs lightly; add milk and bread and let stand for about 5 minutes. Add ground beef, onion, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper; mix gently until well blended. Shape into about 24 meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Place meatballs in a generously greased large shallow baking pan. Bake meatballs at 450° for 25 minutes.
In a Dutch oven, in hot oil over medium heat, sauté onion until tender and just begins to turn golden. Add remaining sauce ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt, if necessary. Add meatballs; cover and simmer 50 to 60 minutes longer, stirring from time to time.

Mix all ingredients. Cook until tender. Transfer the chicken in a baking pan. Broil for 5 minutes and pour the remaining juice.Serve with rice or mashed potato.
