 ::)

Would men have rights to refuse to clean in their respective domestic vicinity because they are keeping the male images?

Totally wrong, at least educated and decent men do not think that household works only belong to women.

How could you assume such postings Ondoy? I don´t subscribe  to this and I think you must  think twice about posting  this controversial issue.
We are born equal and it is not stamped on males head that they are exempted from all household work. This assumption is a  mediocre.

How do men define a "50/50" relationship?
We cook-they eat; we clean-they dirty; we iron-they wrinkle.

Why do men whistle when they're sitting on the toilet?
Because it helps them remember which end they need to wipe.

this thread reminds of a movie "CHOPSUEY", starring Piolo Pascual though I forgot the name of that young actress who played the role of a martyr wife of a Fil-Chi mama's boy.

You don't have to ask. just do it.

diba mas ok  na while the husband is asking his wife how could he be of help eh nakayapos sa babae habang naghuhugas ng pingan, sabay bulong ng ganito, "pagkatapos niyan dear, ikaw naman ang huhugasan ko" hehehe

kidding aside, husbands helping wives doing house chores by asking first could serve many purpose; to help in house chores and make use of that moment as an intimate bonding moments. while husband is helping in the house chores, why not turn it as perfect bonding moment? maganda yung may pasakalye muna siempre para di naman masyadong mechanical. do you want your husband to immediately jump with you on the bed without any foreplay? i simply doubt it.

You might be living in a backward century. Sorry! Never heard about woman liberation?  Could be that some are still dependent to their husbands but not the women in TB.  We are all professionals and earning our own money, Datu Dagohoy.

In my opinion, I dont see providing the means for the family that a husband can be excempted from doing house hold chores. In fact a husband, having a fulltime housewife should help more in household chores esp. if the family couldn't afford a helper because housewife is a 24/7 profession, unlike us husbands who have a fixed working hours. If husbands have a day or 2 of dayoffs, perhaps, relieving our wives or helping them will not be much of a problem even for a working husbands.
Again, as I have said make use of this time as perfect bonding times with our wives, trust me on this. Been there, done that, that's why my wife loves me so much. Imagine, my wife telling me na mas handsome pa daw ako kaysa kay Piolo Pascual? ;D It really works, promise :D

Preposterous. Man and Woman are equal. In the workplace and in the home.
The two are always equal, from the beginning, to the end.

The woman contributes more, in the biological sense, since she bears the child and delivers the child. (us men will never understand or comprehend the excrusiating pain in child delivery--that our wives, spouses had/have/will endure)

It is up to the man to pamper the woman and  respect her.

After all, she will bear and guarantee us, the man, our sacred progeny and Line.
Our genetic re-constituents.

Oi Datu,FYI it does'nt  mean that if men will participate the household works" nga under de Saya siya nga pagkabana" Its only during  middle of the twentieth century that there was a clear division of labor between men and women. The man’s role was to go out to work  and provide for the family, the woman’s role was to be a housewife and mother, looking after home and family. But in today's generation, housework is not only for woman, wala na mauso ang senyurito nga bana karong panahuna datu,if u did it to your wife well your exploiting her, if wife is  fulltime at home still it doesnt mean that its because you are the breadwinner then after u come home u will just sit there and wait until dinner is serve?sineswerti nga pagkabana!
