Compassionate Love Binds People Together!

In today's world we hear the term "compassion" and "compassionate love" used quite loosely. Some people also think there is a thin line between love and hate.
To be compassionate, you of course must be willing to free yourself of personal concerns for a time. In a materialistic world filled with empty gestures it's not that easy to adopt a true level of concern for the lives of others.
To be compassionate you have to set aside your world and be open to understanding the world of each person that you meet so that their world unfolds with all of its mystery, horror, pain and beauty. You can bond with people in a very intimate way but still maintain a separate understanding of your world too.

John 3:16
 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Imagine a hammer.
A solid, shiny, shimmering hammer.
Expensive. Made of high-grade steel and first-class polished wood.
          Now imagine a primitive tribesman from the mountains who has never seen a hammer in his life. He picks up the hammer, likes it immediately, and brings it home. And for the next 50 years, he uses it as a wonderful back scratcher.
Scratch.
Scratch.
Scratch.
That’s all it did for 50 years.
Friends, many people are like that hammer. Because they’re not fulfilling their life purpose, their greatness doesn’t come out.
          I believe there are four kinds of people on planet earth…
A.   Extremely Unhappy people don’t know their life purpose.
B.   Unhappy people who know their life purpose but don’t work on it.
C.   Happy people who know their life purpose, work at it, but not daily.
D.   Extremely Happy people who know their purpose and work on it daily!

How to Pray the Seraphic Rosary (seven decades) in honor of the seven joys of Mary:

Say 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Marys and 1 Glory Be on each decade.

1. The first Joy in the Crown of Mary, is the joy of our Lady at the Annunciation: "behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done to me according to your word."

R: May I become your humble servant, Lord.

For the Lord God strengthens those who are confident in Him, and blesses them who are being persecuted by ill words.

Bury your harsh nature, for it serves no purpose, but prepares a hole for yourself.

Time Is Fleeting.


Nothing in this Earth lasts forever, what was created, will come to an end. As life is made in conception, fulfilled and perfected in Birth. That same life ends in death.

But in Death, there is Life. Those who live in Christ Jesus--assured of His promise of Salvation, shall be awakened after death.

And yes, there is life after death. Believe! Be like the mustard seed. That tiny little mustard seed that ordered the mountain to move, and the latter did move. By faith and steadfastness, alone.

So, do what you can in this life. Acquire your abilities, which The Lord God has given you the ability--by His Grace--and by Grace Alone. Make peace with your enemies--even if they do not accept it--make peace with them and pray for them. Love your family and pray for yourself.

Because, brothers and sisters, we do not know when we will wake up. So live in thanksgiving.

Frequently tell your family that you love them. Because you don't know when you'll see them again. To your Uncles, Aunts, Mother, Father, Brothers, Sisters, Cousins.

Tell them you love them. Live in Thanksgiving. With the live that the good Lord gave you.

So yes, to the reader, yes you, I love you.
I may not know you, but just know that I love you.

Be Kind In Word and Deed.


Easy it is to be angry to your brother and find his  faults. But it takes a bigger person to look past those faults, and be kind to them. As did not Jesus look past the sins and low faith of those whom He talked to in Judea?

Yet, he provided what was needed, healed those whose faith were wanting, and brought signs to those who did not believe and still questioned.

So continue to shine your light, act on your JUSTIFIED love of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.
Even if you are persecuted, looked down, and questioned by peers.
Who cares if they question you, talk about you. That does not matter!

Don't prove to men, but prove to God. That is all that matters.

Tell The Truth


Better to tell the truth and what is in your heart, and suffer persecution for telling the TRUTH than to say a lie just to merely sound 'good' or be 'popular'. Better is an advice that come out of the heart in TRUTH because of love and concern than to usher sweet lies.

Can a sweet lie save you from God's righteous judgement?
We say because we Love you. A brother and sister tells you the truth not because for popularity's sake, but because he or she loves you.

I love the fact that Scripture tells us God's mercies are new every morning. I mean, it's not like God goes to sleep for eight hours and then wakes up with shiny new mercies. No, we are the ones who need to sleep. We are the ones who oversleep and then get to work late, only to find out that we forgot to finish a project. We're the ones who snap at our family members when we get home and overindulge in mindless entertainment. We're the ones who settle into bed with heavy hearts, remembering all the times we've needed God's forgiveness during the day and feeling utterly depleted.

But God is never depleted. We can open our eyes the next morning with absolute joy in the knowledge that our Father is waiting to spend the day with us, pouring out His mercy and grace. We can't use up His mercies; instead, we can wake up with a renewed sense of wonder at God 's marvelous grace, knowing that He has a more than abundant supply of everything we need, and His hand is open to give it to us if we ask Him.

Our Father does not grow weary of us as we grow weary of ourselves. Instead, He gives us every day as an opportunity to experience the deep joy of His ever-present mercies, mercies that can reach us no matter how bleak our circumstances. And if we lose sight of those mercies? No need to fear; they will be just as wonderful tomorrow as they were today.

Keep A Leveled Mind


In doing your daily objectives, work, projects, be like Jesus--in the Garden of Gethsemane, holding faith to The Father--even in times of difficulty. Stick to the path, uphold the goal. And Put 100% trust in The Lord. So that inasmuch as we have faith in Him, he shall be our benefactor in our daily goals.  As The Father will not give up on us, so, too, should we--not give up on ourselves.

Repentance Is Open


We all sin. We all make mistakes. The point is--the realization of our sins and sincere need to repent to The Lord Our God for our mistakes and our sins is Imperative. That is the first step. The Lord God is open to absolve us of our sins and our misdeeds, but it begins in us. Its all up to us to take hold of the Salvation that He offers. The Absolution of our sins.

Be A Lamp Unto The Darkness

To speak the Word of God and to digest its message is a total and life changing event. When you do so--you surrender to Holy Spirit. Who already lives within your own inner selves. As we are temples of the Holy Spirit.

So when you speak in Scripture--be confident--be steadfast. Even if others disagree or if there will be some who do not believe or attack you because of your faith. Christ told us that we are like a 'city on top of a hill'. A lamp of the world, not to be hidden, but to be put up to shine.

Jesus is our strength and our justification. There is nothing in this earth that can break that justification. Jesus Reminds us of Our Duty. Singing His Glory even if others disagree with Christ's Message:

Our Duty!
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
--Matthew 5: 13

Christ Justifies even when people disagree with His Message.
He Is Our Justification. Truth, unassailable.
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
--Matthew 5: 11-12

Listen To The Calling Of The Holy Spirit


One thing that I have learned is the ability to listen in quiet times. In silence, you can heart not only your breath, but the beating of the Holy Spirit. Who dwells in our bodies. For we are His temples.

Open yourself to The Spirit's contemplation. Even if it means taking a break from studies and work, to sit in your room and listen. You'll know what I'm talking about.

Reading (Romans 8: 31-39)

If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but handed him over for us, will he not give us everything else along with him? Who will bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies; who is to condemn? It is Jesus Christ, who died and was raised and is at the right hand of the Father, who intercedes for us.

What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? As it is written,

    "For your sake we are being slain all the day,
    We are looked upon as sheep to be slaughtered."

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Reflection

God chose the most unlikely way to overcome the forces of evil in the world and win salvation for his people. He gave his own Son up to death to show the depth of his love. When we gaze upon the crucifix, we contemplate the deepest mystery of faith: that God would empty himself and enter fully into the human condition, so that we might be raised up to share in the life of God. If God would do this, surely his love has no limits.
