We Are Called Minute Meditations
We are called to share in the infinite life and love of God. We are called by God to a relationship that is destined to transform us into his likeness, to â€œdivinizeâ€ us. This is going to take some stretching, to say the least.

Isnâ€™t it amazing that our God took on our flesh? That He chose to be born in poverty and die in suffering so that we could know His love and be reconciled to Him? He wants to be more than an example, a teacher, or a friend. Jesus is God. And He wants to be your God, because He loves you.

Praising God Minute Meditations
Simply put, God does not demand our praise because he needs it, but because we need it. It is for our benefit, not his. If the whole world neglected to ever utter a single word of praise to God, he would not be hurt or diminished in any way. But we, the non-praisers, would be sadly crippled.

Consider the story of the $100 bill -
As a brand new $100 bill, it is worth $100.
As a crumpled old $100 bill, it is still worth $100.

Your value is never diminished, no matter if you have sinned or if people have hurt your feelings.

It is easy for some of us to become so concerned with others that we jeopardize our physical and emotional health. We need to take appropriate care of ourselves in order to be able to give to others. Being self-giving to a fault can be as harmful as being self-centered. There is a danger of losing humility.

Tangible Faith Minute Meditations
I think it is wonderful and wise of the Church to offer sacramentals, faithful holy reminders, to make our faith more tangibleâ€”more real, if I may say so. Wearing our Miraculous Medal is a holy reminder of a God who loves us immensely and wants us to live eternally with him in heaven one day. This same God even gave us his Mother as he hung from the cross.
