Sharing Our Pain Minute Meditations
After the cross, we know that God is not watching human pain, nor apparently always stopping human pain, as much as God is found hanging with us alongside all human pain. Jesusâ€™s ministry of healing and death, of solidarity with the crucified of history, forever tells us that God is found wherever the pain is.

We live in a culture that uses the name of God a lot but usually not for sacred things! The word hallow in this context is â€œto recognize as holy.â€ We want the world to know that Godâ€™s name is holy.

Surrender is Difficult
Surrender equals defeat, failure, and unhappiness if we donâ€™t get our own way. We naturally feel we should have it all, should be on top, should do better. This struggle in our hearts between having our way and letting God have his way challenges us daily. Most often, we donâ€™t even realize there is a battle in our hearts to surrender our wills to Christ.
