DEPED MUST UNBURDEN TEACHERS OF THE PRINTING COST OF LEARNING MODULES

·      Public school teachers are asking for donations for cost of printing learning modules

·      DepEd has P95 billion budget for MOOE, Rep. BH points out

DepEd, why do the teachers need or have to ask for donations? The 2020 budget for DepEd has nearly P95 billion for MOOE, including supplies of paper and ink.

Check DepEd’s budget breakdown here:

The DepEd must source the funds for printing the learning modules from its GAA share. DepEd should not let their teachers advance or bear the burden of the costs of printing the learning modules.

7 MILLION STUDENTS DID NOT ENROLL

I also note the low enrollment of 20 million as of July 15 considering the goal was 27 million.

OFW families may have reluctantly stopped sending their kids to school or if enrolled in private schools, will either transfer to public schools or stop schooling for at least one year or until their families recover from the financial crisis resulting from the pandemic.

OFW dependents need subsidies for their schooling. DepEd must work with DOLE and OWWA to swiftly remedy the  low enrollment situation.

Lastly, I expressly appreciate the efforts underway at DepEd to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.

To make sure no student gets left behind because of this COVID-19 pandemic. DepEd is right on accepting late enrollees in August and September.

Late enrollment will give the over 7 million students who have not yet enrolled the chance to catch up with the classmates and batchmates. Para sabay silang gagraduate kasama ang classmates nila at hindi maiiwan sanhi ng pandemya.  (END)

BSP SUPPORTS DOLE ADVISORY ON WAGE PAYMENT OF WORKERS THROUGH TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

On 3 August 2020, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) issued Labor Advisory No. 26-20 (Payment of Wages and Other Monetary Benefits Through Transaction Accounts). The Advisory seeks to promote the payment of salaries and wages directly to the bank or e-money account (transaction account[1]) of the employees.  Employers are encouraged to undertake the necessary steps to adopt account-based payment of salaries, such as assisting their employees to open a transaction account and communicating its benefits.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) earnestly commends the DOLE for this Advisory which will promote the financial inclusion of millions in the workforce. Based on the 2019 Financial Inclusion Survey, more than two-thirds of adult Filipinos remain unbanked. The survey also revealed that 88% of private sector wage earners receive their salaries in cash and not through an account. This puts the majority of workers unable to enjoy the benefits of receiving wages through an account, particularly in terms of convenience and safety.

The use of transaction accounts for wage payments will support and catalyze adoption of digital payments among workers. Digital payment has become no longer just an option but a necessity in light of the health protocols and movement restrictions brought upon by pandemic. Having the tools for digital payments will also expand access of the workers to other welfare-enhancing digital financial services such as credit, insurance and investments.

DOLE’s Labor Advisory No. 26-20 is testament to the government’s whole-of-nation approach towards financial inclusion. BSP expresses its continuing support to DOLE in promoting the use of transaction accounts for payment of wages and empowering workers with financial tools to thrive in the new digital economy.

DOLE Labor Advisory No. 26-20 can be found through this link: https://www.dole.gov.ph/news/labor-advisory-no-26-20-payment-of-wages-and-other-monetary-benefits-through-transaction-accounts/

Amos 1
1  The words of Amos, who was among the shepherds of Tekoa; the word which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

2  And he said, "The LORD will roar from Zion and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall dry up."

3  Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Damascus, yea for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.

4  But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad.

5  I will also break the gate bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of Aven, and from him who holds the scepter from the house of Eden. And the people of Syria shall go into captivity to Kir," says the LORD.

6  Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Gaza, yea for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they deported the children of Judah as exiles to deliver them up to Edom.

7  But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour its palaces.

8  And I will cut off the people from Ashdod, and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon, and I will turn My hand against Ekron. And the rest of the Philistines shall perish," says the Lord GOD.

9  Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Tyre, yea for four, I will not turn away its punishment. Because they delivered up the children of Judah as exiles to Edom, and did not remember the brotherly covenant.

10  But I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, which shall devour its palaces."

11  Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Edom, yea for four, I will not turn away its punishment. Because he pursued his brother with the sword, and cast off all mercy, and his anger raged perpetually, and he kept his wrath forever.

12  But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah."

13  Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yea for four, I will not turn away its punishment. Because they have ripped up the pregnant women of Gilead, to make their own border larger.

14  But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour its palaces with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind.

15  And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together," says the LORD.

Hosea 11
1  "When Israel was a child, then I loved him and called My son out of Egypt.

2  The more they called them, the more they went from them. They continued to sacrifice to the Baalim, and burn incense to graven images.

3  I also taught Ephraim to walk; I took them on My arm. But they did not know that I healed them.

4  I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love; and I was to them as those who take off the yoke on their jaws, and I gently gave food to him.

5  He shall not return to the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king because they refused to return to Me.

6  And the sword shall remain on his cities, and shall destroy his branches, and devour them because of their own counsels.

7  And My people are bent on backsliding from Me. Though they called to the Most High, none would at all exalt Him.

8  How shall I give you up, Ephraim? How shall I deliver you, Israel? How shall I make you like Admah? How shall I set you as Zeboiim? My heart is turned within Me; My compassions are kindled together.

9  I will not carry out the heat of My anger; I will not return to destroy Ephraim, for I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst; and I will not enter into the city.

10  They shall walk after the LORD; He shall roar like a lion. When He shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.

11  They shall tremble like a bird out of Egypt, and like a dove out of the land of Assyria. And I will place them in their houses," says the LORD.

12  "Ephraim circles around Me with lying, and the house of Israel with deceit. And Judah is still wayward toward God, and toward the Holy One, Who is faithful."

THE Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) has been placed in the spotlight since last night due to having the largest allocation of compensation under the Philippine Health Insurance Corporations (Philhealth) Internal Reimbursement Mechanism (IRM).

However, not much context was given on SPMC and how it plays an important role in the health system of not only Davao Region but also for Mindanao.

"My mom died before she even got her hazard pay."

Netizen Joie Cruz, daughter of a fallen COVID-19 frontliner, shares in a Facebook post her experience after her mother's fight with COVID-19:

"A few months before my mom passed away, she's been telling me about how long she and her co-nurses had been waiting for their COVID hazard pay.

She and her co-workers were expecting about PHP 30,000+ for their COVID hazard pay, based on the DOH announcement of PHP 500 per day for frontliners.

I went to her workplace to process some of her docs and to claim her benefits. I was told that her COVID hazard pay is already available. Instead of the expected PHP 30,000+, what I received was PHP 7,000+.

Apparently, the COVID hazard pay of the nurses in their public hospital has been reduced to just PHP 150 per day and on top of it were deductions that were not even properly explained by the hospital administration.  In the end, it appears my mom was only given a freaking PHP 64.18 ($ 1.31) per day for her COVID hazard pay for 41 days.

This issue is not about monetary value. This issue is about how governments lie and how we take for granted and exploit our frontliners in the face of this pandemic."

Joie also recalled how her mother was denied a swab test despite being exposed to a COVID-19 patient, since her rapid test showed that she was negative for SARS-CoV-2, and her x-ray and ECG results were normal. Joie's mother passed away shortly after she was intubated on July 21.

"This issue is about how my mom was treated way way below than what she deserves in a local public hospital where she worked in for more than 10 years - the first 4 years of those were without any salary," Joie adds.

Young Filipino “clean energy entrepreneurs” target more jobs, savings after COVID-19

Young Filipino engineers and other professionals are innovating projects that could help ease the recession brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The projects use renewable energy to raise incomes in the countryside and modern technologies to generate energy efficiency savings for families and businesses.

The projects were presented recently in the webinar “Enabling Communities through Energy Innovations” hosted by the international non-profit New Energy Nexus, with the support of the German government’s development cooperation company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the German political foundation Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES).

The eight projects presented provide solar power for health and other basic services as well as livelihood projects and even internet connectivity in marginalized communities, do crowdfunding for solar generators for sitios, turn rice straws and other food waste into clean fuels and fertilizer, minimize building energy cost using building energy modelling software, and track electricity usage cost per appliance in real time.

Lack of access to energy for basic services, livelihood, and connectivity hinders development in many remote communities in the country that cannot be connected to the power grid.

Energy efficiency provides important cost savings for households and businesses, as the Philippines has one of the highest electricity costs in Southeast Asia.

Around 150 start-up companies, entrepreneurs, investors, non-government organizations, government representatives, energy professionals, climate advocates, and the academe watched the presentations.

Some attendees expressed interest in partnering with the start-up companies.

More than half of the audience also said they want to be updated on the projects and others to come.

"We see a massive shift and turnover to renewables driven by inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs," said Danny Kennedy, CEO of California-based New Energy Nexus, which supports clean energy entrepreneurs in the U.S., Asia and Africa with funds, accelerators and networks.

According to GIZ Philippines climate change projects coordinator Dr. Bjoern Surborg, “Germany’s ongoing Energiewende or energy transition to low-carbon renewables was driven in part by citizen-led initiatives. As a development organization, GIZ is supporting these start-ups to help fast-track the Philippines’ transition to clean and affordable energy with Philippine partner organizations on behalf of the German Government.”

FES Philippines Resident Representative Dr. Johannes Kadura added, "It is very important to not only strengthen sustainable projects when it comes to renewable energy, but also try to support, through our partners, the underprivileged and underserved population in the Philippines and to improve their livelihood."

The Philippine government welcomed the efforts to promote clean energy and strengthen livelihoods.

House Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda said in her keynote message, "Our aim is not just to have security of energy supply, reliability and affordability, but also to promote a healthy energy mix for our communities and future generations. This program is one of the effective ways to support our efforts towards a clean energy economy."

Dr. Enrico Paringit, Executive Director of the Department of Science and Technology’s Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD), said in the second keynote message, "Micro, small and medium enterprises generate substantial greenhouse gas emissions. If we help them adopt low-carbon technologies, we would also help them cut down their energy cost and so become more competitive."

TO WILLIAM BELL SCOTT.
DEAR SCOTT,â€"Among various gifts which I have received from you, tangible and intangible, was a copy of the original quarto edition of Whitman's Leaves of Grass, which you presented to me soon after its first appearance in 1855. At a time when few people on this side of the Atlantic had looked into the book, and still fewer had found in it anything save matter for ridicule, you had appraised it, and seen that its value was real and great. A true poet and a strong thinker like yourself was indeed likely to see that. I read the book eagerly, and perceived that its substantiality and power were still ahead of any eulogium with which it might have come commended to meâ€"and, in fact, ahead of most attempts that could be made at verbal definition of them.

Some years afterwards, getting to know our friend Swinburne, I found with much satisfaction that he also was an ardent (not of course a blind) admirer of Whitman. Satisfaction, and a degree almost of surprise; for his intense sense of poetic refinement of form in his own works and his exacting acuteness as a critic might have seemed likely to carry him away from Whitman in sympathy at least, if not in actual latitude of perception. Those who find the American poet "utterly formless," "intolerably rough and floundering," "destitute of the A B C of art," and the like, might not unprofitably ponder this very different estimate of him by the author of Atalanta in Calydon.

May we hope that now, twelve years after the first appearance of Leaves of Grass, the English reading public may be prepared for a selection of Whitman's poems, and soon hereafter for a complete edition of them? I trust this may prove to be the case. At any rate, it has been a great gratification to me to be concerned in the experiment; and this is enhanced by my being enabled to associate with it your name, as that of an early and well-qualified appreciator of Whitman, and no less as that of a dear friend.

Yours affectionately,
W. M. ROSSETTI.
October 1867.

Hosea 10
1  Israel was a luxuriant vine, which produced fruit freely. According to the multitude of his fruit, he has increased the altars. Accordingly, they have made beautiful images after the goodness of his land.

2  Their heart is divided; now they shall be guilty. He shall break down their altars, and He shall spoil their images,

3  For now they shall say, "We have no king because we did not fear the LORD; what then should a king do to us?"

4  They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant. Thus judgment springs up like hemlock in the furrows of the field.

5  Because of the calves of Beth Aven, the people of Samaria shall fear, for its people shall mourn over it, as well as its idolatrous priests who rejoiced over it for its glory, because its glory has departed from it.

6  It shall also be carried to Assyria for a present to King Contentious. Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.

7  As for Samaria, her king is cut off as a bough on the water.

8  Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. The thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, "Cover us," and to the hills, "Fall on us."

9  "O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they stood; war upon the sons of violent deeds shall not overtake them in Gibeah.

10  When I desire, I shall chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves to their two perversities.

11  And Ephraim is like a trained heifer, that loves to thresh, and I passed the yoke over her fair neck. I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods."

12  Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD, until He comes and rains righteousness on you.

13  You have plowed wickedness; you have reaped iniquity; you have eaten the fruit of lies because you trusted in your way, in the multitude of your mighty men.

14  Therefore a tumult shall arise among your people, and all your fortresses shall be spoiled, as the ruin of Beth Arbel by Shalman in the day of battle. The mother was dashed in pieces with her children.

15  Thus He does to you, Bethel, because of your great wickedness. In a morning the king of Israel shall be utterly cut off.

ATTY. CHARLES DE BELEN
DIBI.RENT CO-FOUNDER

Maging praktikal. Imbes na bilhin, arkilahin!

YOUTH STARTUP CREATES AN INNOVATIVE ONLINE RENTAL MARKETPLACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN RENT ITEMS FROM OWNERS WHO WISH TO EARN FROM THEIR UNUSED ITEMS

A new business venture has found ways for MSMEs and individuals who own unused or no longer used equipment, appliances, and other items to safely and securely rent out their items to others who need them but are limited by their finances to buy them.

Dibi.Rent co-founder Charles de Belen said items put up for rent on their community sharing marketplace can help people live their passion by kickstarting their businesses, pursuing their hobbies, working from home or studying at home.

"Capital constraints is the 2nd topmost reasons why businesses or micropreneurs in the Philippine cannot start or scale their businesses since they cannot access the equipment they need. Their budget is enough only for a fraction of the whole purchase cost. They only have enough for renting what they need," de Belen said.

"On the other side of the landscape, there are people and businesses who have items that they can rent out because the items were already bought, but the owners of these items such as, gyms, internet cafes, or restaurants got caught in the economic storm of the pandemic, so now they are unable to use what they spent a lot of money on for their businesses as their operations are either suspended or shut down.” Patricia Plan, one of the founders, explained.

De Belen, Plan, and 2 other co-founders at Dibi.Rent  thought of connecting those two sets of people. They did and they are now positioned to offer their lending services in Quezon City, Makati City, Taguig City, and Pasig City

"The item owners earn passive income from the rent while the renters can earn business or work income from using the rented items and student-renters can earn their course credits and degrees from affordable rented items like computers and study equipment.

Plan said Dibi.Rent uses its "intelligent recommendation system" to connect the item owners and renters.

"Our platform also insures rented items for up to P200,000, thus providing security and peace of mind over the items rented for both lenders and borrowers," she said.

“When COVID struck and we saw how we have unemployment of around 7.2 million Filipinos and are on track to be in one of the worst economic recession in our history, we knew that we should do something to help our fellow Filipinos bounce back and restart their lives,” said Plan.

"The team is looking to continue to improve the Dibi.Rent experience after it launches, and add to the categories that are currently available in the platform," de Belen also said.

Dibi.Rent is now live at www.dibi.rent . Updates on its journey can also be found at https://fb.me/dibi.rent .   (END)

A Hardened Heart

Satan's strategy to make Christians fall asleep spiritually is to alienate our hearts from God. His plan is to cause our love for God to grow cold. One of the ways he does this is to get our eyes off pleasing God and doing His will and get them on ourselves. Satan knows that if he can succeed in getting you to let other things take first place in your life, he gains a strong foothold.

Satan's strategy is to cause you to become so involved with providing for the needs of your family that you have little or no time left for the things of God that are necessary to strengthen your spiritual life. The only true foundation for your house â€" your life â€" is to build on the solid rock.

Many Christians feel that a hardened heart could never happen to them, but Paul warned the Church, not the unbeliever, “…if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts…” (Hebrews 3:7 . A hardened heart does not harken to the will of God, and is closed to the Holy Spirit. A hardened heart cannot be penetrated by the love and grace of God. A hardened heart feels no compassion for lost souls and thinks only of selfish things.

To avoid a hardened heart, Christians must understand what the Bible teaches that causes such a condition:

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. (Hebrews 3:13)

Many Christians today are in the process of hardening their hearts through sin and unbelief, therefore they are unable to see the fulfillment of God's covenant promises in their lives.

Like hardening of the arteries, hardening of the heart does not happen overnight. It happens gradually through a progression of sinful steps. To protect against this hardening process, each day you must examine yourself to see if you have allowed Satan to get a foothold in your life through sin and gradual unbelief.

Before you say it cannot happen to you, remember that the men who were closest to Jesus, those who sat under His teaching, who saw with their own eyes the blind eyes opened, the deaf ears unstopped, still battled unbelief and hardness in their hearts.

Satan's strategy is subtle. By keeping you so busy that you have no time alone with God, you gradually become unable to hear God's voice with clarity. Because you do not recognize His voice with the certainty you once did, you then fail to respond and act when you do hear it. As a result of this gradual spiritual dying process, when you ask God to heal your body and supply your needs, you no longer really expect to receive fulfillment because your heart has become hardened through unbelief.

Make this declaration:

My heart will not be hardened through unbelief. I will hear God's voice with clarity, recognize it, and act upon what He says.

Published October 2017
SAN JOSE De BUENAVISTA, Antique â€" Antique Governor Rhodora Cadiao said she has complete trust on Vice Governor Edgar Denosta and appealed to political detractors not to divide them but to help strengthen the economy of the province.

Cadiao, in her media interview on Tuesday, belied the text message purportedly from the cellular phone of Denosta mentioning the alleged suspension of the governor due to graft and himself vowing to lead a corrupt-free government in the province.

"We are now having the incident investigated," the governor said.

She said that it might be due to desperation of their political detractors who managed to "hack" the cellphone of Denosta and mislead Antiquenos.

Cadiao said the vice governor called to inform her about the text message last week while she was in Manila to speak in the forum of the National Nutrition Council concerning the malnutrition problem in the province.

"Give me my time to help our province," the governor said. (PNA)

5 TIPS FOR INCOMING LAW FRESHIES!

1. Manage your time. This tip is of course not a surprise to everyone. Time management is one of the most essential skills a law student must learn and develop throughout law school. The key here is always planning ahead. In terms of macro-managing, a good application is Google Calendar. This will include deadlines, dates of exams, quizzes, even ceasefires. On the other hand, in terms of micro-managing, nothing beats a good notebook to write down your to-do list for the day.

2. Master the fundamentals. One may classify the boring fundamentals as those we often overlook. 8 hours of sleep, a good eating habit, frequent exercise, etc. These habits are essential for our well-being and health. A law student cannot review his readings if he feels sick or lethargic. Treat your body as the game piece and law school as a game. You cannot play the game if your game piece is dysfunctional. Practice these fundamentals first, and all will follow.

3. Digests are only beneficial for the short term. A popular way of cramming in law school is reading your assigned cases in their pre-digested format, usually found in the internet. Although, it may save you lots of time in the reading category, there are compromises in using them. First, reading full text cases enhances your reading comprehension. Further, digests usually omit even the important parts of a certain cases such as exceptions and other doctrines. Practice reading in full text except when it is absolutely necessary that you need to resort to digested cases.

4. Make friends. Having a healthy social circle during your stay in law school is crucial. Do not think that you’re so good and your classmates are inferior compared to you. Ego will not help you in law school, in fact, it might even be your downfall. It is not only good for your studies as but also your mental health. Having someone to talk to when everything is crumbling down on your feet may mean passing law school or miserably failing.

5. At the end of the day, law school is not that intimidating. Many of us find the first few months, even years in law school, daunting. The piles of cases you have to read, hundred of pages assigned during a single meeting, consecutive exams during exam week; this is all hard to swallow. But at the end of the day, all of the hardships in law school is a mere part of a bigger journey. What is 75 cases in exchange of having the privileges to serve the public. What is a nerve-wracking recitation or the right to defend a wrongly charged accused. Think of the long term, always. Do not burn yourself out by doing all nighters and getting rid of your social life. You are still human, just like the rest of us; what sets you apart is that you are a future attorney.

All these tips may have their own posts in the future. We wish all the aspiring attorneys a good luck in their first day of law school. We hope that these tips will help you, even a little bit, in your law school journey.

LGUs CAN USE THEIR SPECIAL EDUCATION FUND TO PRINT STUDENTS’ LEARNING MODULES, SUBSIDIZE INTERNET ACCESS

To augment the P9 billion the Department of Education reportedly has for the printing of public school students’ learning modules, local government units nationwide can draw from their respective Special Education Fund.

The SEF is exclusive for education purposes, so there should be funds there which can be budgeted or realigned for the urgent needs now and until the end of 2020.

SEF funds must be released soon because thousands of teachers are still welcoming donations of supplies and other items they need for their learning modules. This need is especially acute in smaller schools with fewer students because their MOOE budget per school is barely enough to pay for basic needs like electricity, water, sanitation, internet, and phone bills.

A school’s MOOE is tied to how many students are enrolled. The more populous the campus, the higher their MOOE funds.

The more financially-able LGUs can opt to use their SEF  to lease or purchase desktop computers, laptops, pocket wifi, and broadband subscriptions. Perhaps, they could even acquire BGANs and VSAT equipment to significantly improve the internet access of their students and teachers.

But funds for building new classrooms and buildings and for repairing or renovating old ones should be kept mostly intact because sometime next year perhaps, the students would eventually return to the campuses, so those new structures would be needed.

Instead of funding the construction of school clinics or conversion of some facilities into school clinics,  I would rather that DepEd spend heavily on hiring doctors, nurses, dentists, guidance counselors, psychologists, and psychiatrists.

These healing professionals can do much more than any building or office structure can.  We need these healing professionals to make sure our students and teachers are healthy while they study at home and when they eventually return to their classrooms when the COVID-19 dangers have abated. (END)

Network Briefing News on Radyo Pilipinas
Davao De Oro Governor Jayvee Tyron Uy:
- On African Swine Fever: Since February nung nag-erupt ang ASF sa Davao Occidental, we are very vigilant together with our hog raisers here in Davao de Oro. Nag-meet kami on how to combat this virus and isa sa aming nasabutan gyud of course iwasan nato ang paggamit ng mga lamaw, and then isa diha in our provincial boundaries ang mga sasakyan na papasok sa aming probinsya will pass through a foot bath and a wheel bath para ma-disinfect ang mga sasakyan, minimizing the transmission.
- We are coordinating with Davao del Norte because there is an outbreak which is na-contain naman nila sa Panabo City.
- Isa pud sa ginanimay namo sa hog raisers especially backyard raisers to really be careful in purchasing canned goods from different sources kasi itong ASF virus, present sa mga canned goods. Hindi naman nakakahawa sa humans; it can only pass from animal to animal. Patuloy po na nag-monitor ang provincial veterinary natin.
- On ‘Call DdOc’ online medical consultation: Ang Call DdOc is the version of the telemedicine na prino-promote ng Department of Health.
4,260 so far have been helped through this program. Hindi na po sila kinakailangan na pupunta pa sa ospital. Ang doktor na po ang tumutulong na mag-advice kung ano po ang aggawin, kung ano ang remedies at medicines na kinakailangan nila sa health nila.
- Para sa ating mga kababayan sa Davao de Oro at sa iba pa, let us try to religiously follow the minimum health standards given to us by the government. [pia-aa]
