why I've posted this ... is to enlighten others who made excuses ... putting others as scapegoats to their miseries...

The biggest myth about happiness is when people say that it is not legitimate or correct for us to put our happiness ahead of everyone else.

This is a dabatable issue as we cannot give away to anyone else what we do not have for ourselves.  Just as you cannot give money to the poor when you don't have any, hence you can't make someone else happy if you yourself is miserable.

The very best way to assure the happiness of others is to be happy yourself and then to share your happiness with them.  Suffering and self-sacrifice merely depress and discourage other people.  If we want to make others happy, start by living the kind of life and doing the kind of things that make us happy.

Dedicate yourself to the development of your natural talents and abilities by doing what you love to do, and doing it beter and better in the service of a cause that is greater than yourself.

This is a big statement, a big commitment.  Being happy requires that we define our lives in our own terms and then throw our whole heart into living our lives to the fullest.  In a way, happiness requires that we be perfectly selfish in order to develop ourselves to a point where we can be unselfish for the rest of our lives.

Our happiness likewise depends upon our ability to please at least ourselves in all things.  We can be happy only when we are living our lives in the very best way possible.  No one can define happiness for us.  Only us know what makes us happy.  Happiness is an inside job.

you are correct Grazie in most cases, it is always the leader who got the opportunities to be on the Board but we are not limiting the board membership to that context...to be in a group is a shared responsibility, every one must empower himself to grow... it is the environment of receptiveness that would motivate a neophyte to be a leader... hence, the pioneering members of the BOD who are leaders must lead by example for others to emulate...

Some personnel of the callcenters in Cebu are Boholanos. There might be some truth in "deficient connectivity" as some towns I knew don't even have internet connections...

why I aspire to enhance the probabilities to establish in Bohol because we only rely heavily on agriculture and tourism... at least we could diversify into something with available resources...

I would thank HIM for everything that transpired... the "making" of me... no regrets... all has its purpose.

yes, it's not too late...everybody has a mission in life.. it differs from one to another.  For me, I would consider that I've accomplished the very basic quest for my existence.

on family and fatherhood, i've manifested my being a father, brother, mother, sister, friend roles into one in all of my encounters...it is the love and acceptance that made a difference to others.  I've made a point that I will always leave an imprint in other's lives.  We only live once... and we must value whatever it may be.

There might be some truth in it...but how could we reconcile the logic of rational thinking, when the fact is Bohol a favorite recipient of various projects... and that Bohol politicians have the capabilities to deliver when required... there is a sense of loyalty...

Anda nowadays is considered as an alternative of Panglao. It is only the distance that keep it not so attractive to short stayer tourists... but the quality of the sand is superb for Anda beaches ( powdery baby pink color )....nindot gyod.

Imagine I was with the Provincial Attorney (Delaguna), with an upcoming lawyer fron HNU (Sigbin) and with a celebrated writer (ElMundo). Misamot unta kon niabot si Melrose, Mari and Fiel Angeli ( the latter was somewhere around in ICM, Fiel is also a writer and a critic ).
How about you? seems we have less interaction this time?

Richard Bayron is one of the new generation of graphic/visual/display artists that I admired...he made some businesses here in Saudi prospered with his works in advertising...a product of UB comparably at par with other reputable institutions (as USC, UST).  He is back in Bohol.

i would care most for telling the truth, even it dares painful acceptance... for it is the truth that would connect to loyalty and love.

when we focus on pleasing people, we cannot please everyone as we have individual differences and perspectives.  When we don't speak of the truth just to please others is tantamount to superficiality, insincerity, biases and not being the real YOU, that would lead to misconception of a false facade...
