The biggest myth about happiness is when people say that it is not legitimate or correct for us to put our happiness ahead of everyone else.

This is a dabatable issue as we cannot give away to anyone else what we do not have for ourselves. Just as you cannot give money to the poor when you don't have any, hence you can't make someone else happy if you yourself is miserable.

The very best way to assure the happiness of others is to be happy yourself and then to share your happiness with them. Suffering and self-sacrifice merely depress and discourage other people. If we want to make others happy, start by living the kind of life and doing the kind of things that make us happy.

sometimes, the expectation is too much in which unexpected results leads to insecurity or disappointment.

I think happiness is a matter of decision. You can wake up one morning and feeling blue and yet, you can still decide to be happy by appreciating what we have and the chance given to us to do more good to others or simply just appreciating the changing color of the leaves.

Yeah, just like this afternoon. I feel so blue and I didn't know why. I even ignored the sight of the laptop, and hit the bed instead. I was not tired but I fall asleep. I was again sad when I woke up. But then, I realized what I'm missing here in TB. So, I made a shower and login to TB...Now, I'm Happy.

That's really the case ba Haze na when we are unhappy, the people around us is also unhappy. It's like a plague that contaminates the mood of other people as well. So, I'd say to the words of that big guy Santos in the Philippines, Don't worry, be happy!

Happiness, for me personally, is a roller coaster ride. I am a generally happy person, but I can't be happy 24/7. No one is. Life is a cycle. There are times when I'm happy, times when I'm miserable. There are times when I laugh like a hyena, and times when I cry my heart out. There are times when I feel like I can live forever, but there are times when I feel like putting an end to it all. There are times when I'm in love with everyone, and there are times when I shut out the rest of the world. Sometimes I love my life, sometimes I hate it.

The important thing is to find balance. The secret to being happy, I've learned, is self-acceptance. I've learned that it's ok to be sad or be angry or be miserable sometimes. It's what makes us human. I've learned that I don't always have to listen to other people's opinions on how I should live my life. I've learned that it's perfectly ok to be sad or miserable even when others tell me I should be happy.

I've learned to accept my dark side, as well as the good. The darkness that sometimes envelops me...is part of who I am.

And this is what makes me happy: that I've finally accepted me...the good, the bad, the ugly...warts and all.

Been to some storms even tsunami ..but it doesn't give me a hindrance to be happy and laugh to the extreme.Bein' simple and live the way what God gave me, made me happy because I am satisfied with my life.With kids around me,good and respectful,making dreams with me and hug me,(that's priceless)..With this treasures I have, I'm happy and though life isn't complete without problems..well,darn with that problems,he can solve for me rather than solving for him,......in that way..I can say I'm happy........(^_-)

we are the ones building the perspectives of happiness... how see through .... when life is all cream, you won't value much its indicator.... one has to experience pain to value happiness...

For me, I knew I am happier now because I have been through a lot of pain in the past. So busa, when we feel pain, let's embrace that because it makes happiness more sweeter.

yes...kung sa corporate world pa...the impact of proficiency and effectiveness as derived from constant performance measurement as brought by KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) has more weight than the previous findings / output....
