If we follow the statistical rules in sampling for survey purposes, the posted result need a lot of questions to be answered:
1. What is the population of the sample?
2. How did they take the sample?
3. How did they structure the interview questions?
4. and a lot of rules that you have to follow to arrived a scientifically credible results.

In the absence of the above, the result amount to nothing.

Choose character rather than integrity. Integrity is what you see, character is what a person really is (its what is in his heart).

maajong adlaw kaninjong tanan.

But somehow, nakakita ko ug lain nga paagi. I study where insurance companies place their money. I realize nga ang contribution sa mga nagpa insured ila e palit ug mga treasury bond which mostly are government guaranteed. Retail treasury bond offered by the government is for us small investors. When I started buying retail bond the interest rate was 12% but now it is around 5%, but still higher than savings deposit.
So instead nga mo palit ko ug insurance, ako nalang ang mo palit deretso ug treasury bond. Its some sort of kaugalingong disiplina. Every month mag-save then ug naa na offer nga treasury bond palit dajon.
One way is I open an account for my children then deposit a fix amount (mura pod ug nagbayad ka sa insurance) every month. But the difference is you are in control of that money.
Yes, financial education is important. Financial ignorance is costly.

Maybe true and maybe not.
Possibly ang origin ani mao ang mga Bol-anon before who migrated to other parts of the Philippines and other countries. Those people may have told about why they left Bohol (because of poverty).

I can still remember around 30 years ago, naa ko gui kasakay sa Saint Jude nga taga Manila ni ingon jud siya nga dili man diay pobre ang Bohol as told by his friends. Until now this incident have given me courage and desire to strive in order to be free from whatever poverty.

To be poor or to be rich is just a state of mind. The only solution from poverty is to change the thinking from poverty to rich, because all things are created from thoughts.

Mura diay ni ug ako sa una. Niwang, unya ug manguyab ingnon lang nga tulog kay aron mo tambok.
Bitaw ang akong solution ang gym ra jud. I regularly go to the gym (PRT, bodybuilding).
I build muscles and my weight increase from 48 to almost 60 kilos. Although by weight dili kaayo dako ang increase but my body size have a great difference than before.

Do it regularly for at least six months and you will see the result.

And just why is it that Philippines does not pay ransom for their own? Instead they depend on a wealthy foreign ship owner... I know Filipino seaman quit well. I know some of their characters while at dock as I use to be a volunteer with a seaman center in states.

I think Filipino have song that describes the type of things I had seen happening....(Not being faithful to their wives was number#1.....). I could go on but that would be unethical of me to say what really happens with seamen who say married in Philippines but single in America!

Nah' I bet some of these men on this captured vessel are thinking am  being punished for my past acts while being on board a vessel that travels internationally?..LOL! Bwahahahaha!!!

So your are not a Filipino because you laugh when Filipinos are taken hostages by Somali pirates..
What if a US seaman is being taken hostage by Somali pirates, will you still laugh...

As of End of January 2010 the outstanding debt is P4,443,000,000,000.00. Yes, 4.443 Thrillion pesos.
#59
Here is the debt from 2000 to 2008:

Year          Amount in Million Pesos
2000          2,166,710
2001          2,384,917
2002          2,815,468
2003          3,355,108
2004          3,811,954
2005          3,888,231
2006          3,851,506
2007          3,712,487
2008          4,220,903

Source: Bureau of Treasury

The outstanding government debt has doubled from Y200 to Y2008 in a span of 8 years yet our government officials are spending money as if our country have excess money in the bank.

I believe all candidates for this election should be aware of this figure for them to realize how our country stand financially.

I believe there is no deforestation in Pilar kay wala namay forest in the first place. Possibly NEA personnel means that money for reforestation was not used properly.
Before they start the construction of Pilar dam, they clear large forest area, I dont know for what purpose. Since then wala na mabalik ang nahabilin nga forested area.

But after election...
lets see how many post about
the realities of their promises
the realities of why they are elected to their position
the realities of their responsiveness to the needs of their constituents
the realitites of how many times they consult their constituents
and other realities of what they are suppose to be and to do

Our government is on deficit spending, daghang kwarta pero puro utang. There will come a time that we will be like P.I.G.S (Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Spain) countries in Europe. Try to look at the record of annual deficit and the growing debt of our government, it is alarming. It can be accessed on Phil Treausury website. Our politician should check these facts and do something about it while its not yet too late.

We have a lot of politicians but no leaders.
The way they answer the allegations of corruptions while in office speaks of the kind of politicians they are. We need leaders to guide our nation for the better life of all Boholanos and Filipinos. We are already overtaken by Indonesia, Vietnam and other ASEAN countries who a decade ago were behind us economically. Do we need another wake-up call before we take action? Election time is a time for ordinary citizens to show their self and decide their future about our government.
