Bitaw, Bay Glace, common man pud nis ato. Actually, morag dili man gani Tagalog ang origin ani, kon dili Spanish. Ang pulong nga "mata-pobre" does not literally mean "eye-poor" kon dili "kill-poor". Matar = to kill in Spanish. (Parehas bitaw sa "oro, plata, mata".) Sa ato pa, ang "matapobre" is "killer of the poor".

I think so, too. Mas daghan man og Spanish-derived words ang Binisaya kaysa Tagalog tingali. Sa ato mas common man gani ang POBRE kaysa KABOS, per my experience. In fact, morag quaint and literary man kon mogamit kag KABOS.

He he.
