Bohol Internet Connections
« on: October 29, 2007, 01:57:20 PM »
hi guys,

need to know the available internet connection in bohol.

Based on last year's info:

For Wireless and Laptop Users:
1. Smart Bro --> not offered to our bukid
2. Globe Visibility --> 2yrs contract (not good for me)

is there any aDSL connection offered by Globelines? or anything having some speed of 256kbps(guaranteed speed) will do... at least...

check out auza.net - they offer the kind of premium guaranteed speed connection you're looking for.

My family in Manga is using cruznet.  so bad connection, very slow!  I will check auza.net and see if it's available in Manga already.  thanks Ben.

Mike, we still have that cruznet connection.  It hasn't improved all these years; still so slow.

im a "smart" bro user before, karon smart sis na! bongga! hehe  sa akoa lang ikasulti, you're sharing the connection with some other users in that specific Wi-Fi range. not sure if same pa ba ang settings, technically speaking, local IP address ang gipanggamit sa mga users then gi-route nila sa usa ka public address (possible router) located sa site nila. not confirmed by those tech guys behind smartbro pero mao na akoa nakita sa ilang setup. ;D

this is just my opinion... sa motoo lang...   ::)

Are you familiar with Cruznet?  Sige lang kadaut ang connection didto sa amo sa Manga oi!  The technician told my sister to have it changed to Smart or Globe but the thing is wala pa daw Globe maka abot sa Manga.  That leaves us with Smartbro.  So if hinay pod just like cruznet, why bother to change.  What do you think, G@len?

I want to live by the moment and worry no more about my future because I know that God has already made the best plan for me. All I have to do is be faithful to HIM all the time. GOD rocks!

It's the new SMART BRO PLAN 799 - the plug-it anywhere broadband!

this is similar to globe visibility right? hmmm philippines going mobile?  ::)

You sound credible, G@len!  Thanks!
What do you think, G@len?

sorry grazie kay wa man na kaabot sa amoa ang CruzNet... btaw, cebu man sad ko sauna so wa ko idea cruznet. maybe Ben can tell us something about CruzNet...

Ben? calling.... calling... busy... busy... busy...   ???

Salamat kaayo, G@len!  Basin naa pa kay more infor mahatag pohon.  Ako daw ni ipasulay nila ning Smartbro.
