postahanay 100-200 markis ko gid.

kalma ka lang bai..morag gusto gid nimo ma bogbog si Pacquiao. I know your the one of the few that is itching for the end of the boxing reign of the Pacman. can't blame you though, but i'm just wondering where your loyalty lies. But i guess, your a die hard pro-marquez.

Wala man sad ko moujon ani nga 4th fight nila ni Marquez. I was thinking it would make no difference, because the outcome would just be the same. But save it for Manny for taking this fight, a lot must be at stake here.

A convincing win will put him back to the limelight and would open for a few more fights. possible or not, against Floyd Mayweather is perhaps the only fight that will culminate the Pacman's boxing career. (by the way, manny is already musing about two more fights before calling it quits, after this fight with Marquez.)

If Manny loses in this fight, then it would be fair enough to say he has nothing to prove anymore. Whatever the conclusion of this fight will make or break his decision to go on or hang up his gloves for good.

"Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded. He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood.

Why is it so hard for some of us to understand that the water really turn into blood? what the bible says is unrefutable. What is written according to the scriptures holds true because it is inspired by God. only non-believers will disagree..and no matter how you put it, even our own reasoning will not bear weight because God himself let these things happen.

These kind of incidents have been happening to some parts of the world like the Gulf of Mexico, in West Texas, Alaska, Egypt.

The laws of science can give us an idea why these things are happening, but regardless, it is evident that we are really seeing things that will make us pause and contemplate beyond what these things are telling us.

I don't know why Miriam is making such a big fuss about J.Lo's performance. It's obvious she doesn't know nothing about today's music.

I think we should consider ourselves lucky that a high profile international singer like J.Lo has picked our country as one of her destination of her world tour concert. If Miriam says she likes classical music, then somebody must have told her the wrong information what genre of music J.Lo is associated with.

Advantage: Health Benefits
According to a study conducted by the Center for Disease Control from 1999 to 2002, married people had an advantage in nearly every health-related category over those who chose not to wed. Additionally, since the married population in this study were less likely to smoke, drink and be physically inactive, they also suffered less headaches, back pain and psychological distress. This statistical trend was consistently true for all age ranges, ethnicities and income levels of married couples.

Disadvantage: Health Concerns
While healthy marriages tend to result in healtier individuals, the opposite is also true. Those affected by bad marriages, divorce or the grieving process involved when a spouse dies experienced considerably lower health according to Web MD. Additionally, Web MD reports that even the best of marriages showed a concerning health trend regarding weight, particularly in males. For married men ages 45 to 64, three out of every four are overweight or even obese. By contrast, the slimmest groups in the study were men and women who never married.

Advantage: Financial Relief
Getting married results in the ability to file jointly during tax time, yielding lower rates for some filers. According to Investopedia, many areas of American tax laws are written to provide benefits to married couples, including saving for retirement. In addition to this tax break, married couples also have the opportunity to double their total income as well, meaning financially savvy couples who ensure the expenses do not double as well have a guaranteed financial advantage.

Disadvantage: Financial Burdens
Tom Van Riper of Forbes Magazine asserts that married couples are likely to spend the vast majority of their income just on living expenses, leaving almost no leftover funds for spending. While single people generally wait until their 40s to start saving for retirement, the married population starts earlier. Additionally, 77 percent of homeowners are married couples according to the Center for Politics, resulting in extra expenses like home insurance and household maintenance. The costs of saving for retirement and paying off a home combined with providing for children means that many marriages incur extra expenses single people can safely ignore.

Before fighting Mancini, he said, “I never did nothing to the character. How can he dislike a good-looking guy like me? It's jealousy. He can't even be in the same room with me because he knows he can't beat me mouth-to-mouth.”

-By this statement alone you know the guy really knows his game by getting into his opponents nerves. and for hyping up a fight.

His style of dress is outlandish to make liberace look reserved. He wears enough jewelry to make Mr. T look like a man who only dabbles in accessories. It must be great fun to watch Camacho walk through a metal detector.”

-By playing dress-up coming into a fight, you know he's a performer, and really knows how to entertain people.

“You’d think the guy would be devastated, but 15 minutes after the loss, he was back in press row for the second fight of the HBO doubleheader, shaking everyone’s hands,” Caplan said. “Just a happy-go-lucky guy who loved people.”

-No doubt that Hector was a true sport. Totally outrageous in jubilation of a win, but equally humble in defeat.

“Oscar was winning a gold medal for his country, Macho was stealing one for himself. Oscar plays golf, Macho plays craps. He was a hyperactive child, and he's a hyperactive adult.

-becoming a world champion in the sport he loves has its moments that could change the lives of those around him. In fact the sport he loves too much translates what life was trying to imitate outside of it. He has fallen into the pit once, but eventually, breaking out the habit has taken a grip, that a tragedy like this could bring out the best of him, and unto his own grave.

Rest In Peace Champ...you did not die in vain.

Time for Ricky to really hang up those gloves for good. He himsself said for this comeback that he's trying to find out if he's still had it. I'm sure after this fight there'll be no excuses left for him to justify another comeback.

Except that devastating loss he had against Pacquiao, Ricky still deserves my enormous respect for bringing out the best in boxing, and fighting out only the best boxing could offer. His personal life has been for most a rough ride and a tough one to swallow, but nevertheless he snap out of it.

I just hope that Ricky will focus more on his loved ones, enjoy his retirement, and thank God that a talent like him graced the sport of boxing with so much dedication that only a few will come out raising their hands in triumph in the battles of life.

It is quite irresistible to make an argument about what God can and cannot do. but be that as it may, with God all things are possible.

I may have to stick with my appraisal though that Mary is first and foremost a human being. That she underwent what the rest of us feel and go through in the rigorous biological process called life. It is only when God intervened that her life was exalted, but i believe that God is a reasonable God. He won't take away what Mother Mary was as a human being from the outset. Regardless of what God can do, he won't do something like a magician's trick to make a fool of ourselves into thinking that Mary was a product from heaven and all of these was already a hatch out plan from the beginning.
#28
With all due respect sir, i can see how well versed you are with regards to Mary, Mother of Jesus our saviour. I for one don't go against for most of what has been said about mary which is justifiable in every sense of the word. What preoccupies my thought with great interest is the fact that Mother Mary was first and foremost a human being, and because she came from this world and not from heaven. I don't take issue in the fact that she deserves special mention and favor from God because she was chosen to bore the child Jesus. but we cant take away the fact that she has still that human element in her in bearing the child Jesus. Granting that she has the blessing from God, she still can't escape the fact that she undergoes what other human beings undergo when it involves the child bearing process.

Sometimes we are fed with the wrong analysis the church had imposed upon us that we are inclined to believe that everything is true to their liking. Mother Mary like all of us, first and foremost is a human being. conceiving our Lord jesus christ, she undergoes the same process that a woman is about to give birth, technically speaking she bore out Jesus from her womb, so she must go the process of labor to bring out the child jesus from her womb. On this case she is no longer a virgin.

The church only depicts the "Virgin" on mother mary to indicate that she was chosen to bore our Lord Jesus Christ which is a great distinction. But nevertheless the virgin in her as a human being that undergoes the child bearing process doesn't apply to her anymore. So in this case the church, disregards the human frailty that Mary has as a human being, and put her on a pedestal to proclaim her as a "Virgin pure in chaste" in conformity of which the grounds dictate in everything which is holy.

No wonder almost all of these chinese restaurants are flourishing because of this one  type of ingredient that they can live without in their cooking regimen. Add to that is that filipinos are getting too lazy to make time to cook so we venture to ready-to-eat food items laced with MSG, unmindful of its ill effects that will harm our body.

Question and Answer / Re: Are all religions equal?
November 23, 2012, 08:51:56 PM
No such thing as religion being equal to another's faith one is practicing. No better way of getting into a religion, but no matter how anyboby sees his religion as being superior to other religions, it is in the way how you practice your faith.

If your faith is as strong as you have believed that God really exists, that represents all the good things promised in heaven. then religion would have not even matter in its categorical name.

Nowadays, we can speak of our own religions and be proud of it, but nonetheless the devil will always draw away people from their beliefs and that's why every religion basically has been corrupted in some way or another.

Manny should realize that there is no turning back. All this talk about knocking out Marquez the fourth time he should take it seriously, because it is the only way no matter where you put it, that all these controversy hounding their last three fights claiming that each fighter won the fight must end once and for all.

Mayweather is known for his cherry picking on opponents, and I think he sees something on Miguel Cotto that he could exploit. The strategy for him would be to pick his spots, try to land some shots and back off. He wouldn't dare trade shots with Miguel, and risk himself flat on his back. This fight goes to Mayweather, but another one of those boring fights. I hope Miguel will constantly apply the pressure, beat Mayweather to the punch with his jab, hooks to the body and short, crisp punches on the inside will surely rattle Floyd's defense. 8)

POST-WAR:

In 1956, the lower part of the painting was severely damaged when someone doused it with acid. On December 30 of that same year, Ugo Ungaza Villegas, a young bolivian, damaged the painting by throwing a rock on it. The result was a speck of pigment near Mona Lisa's left elbow. The painting is now covered with bulletproof security glass.

On April 6, 2005- following a period curatorial maintenance, recording, and analysis- the painting was moved, within the louvre, to a new home in the museum's Salle des Etats. It is displayed in a purpose-built, climate-controlled enclosure behind bulletproof glass.

ADOLF HITLER

Hitler's health has long been the subject of debate. He has variously been said to have had irritable bowel syndrome, skin lesions, irregular heartbeat, Parkinson's disease, syphilis, Asperger syndrome, and a strongly suggested addiction to methampetamine.

MONORCHISM- It has been alleged that Hitler had monorchism, the medical condition of having only one testicle. Hitler's personal doctor, Johan Jambor, supposedly described the dictator's condition to a priest who later wrote down what he had been told in a document which was uncovered in 2008, 23 years after the doctor's death.

MENTAL HEALTH- An extensive psychohistory of Hitler, concluded that he suffered from borderline personality disorder, which manifested its symptoms in numerous ways and would imply hitler was in full control of himself and his actions.

From the 1930's he suffered from stomach pains, in 1936 a non-cancerous polyp was removed from his throat and he developed eczema on his legs. He suffered ruptured eardrums as a result of the july 20 plot bomb blast in 1944 and 200 wood splinters had to be removed from his legs, but he was otherwise uninjured. Some doctor's dismiss Hitler's ailments as hypochondria, pointing out the apparently drastic decline of Hitler's health as Germany began losing World War II.

The painting currently hangs on Louvre Museum in Paris. It is set behind a wall of Bulletproof glass and watched over by armed guards.

So what's all the fuss about?

"There's no reason for it", said Frank Fehrenbach, Renaissance expert and professor of art history at Harvard University."It is a beautiful portrait, but only historical coincidences have made it so famous."

The Romantic Movement in the 19th century had a lot to do with popularizing the work, Fehrenbach said.

"Romantic writers created the popular image of the "Mona Lisa". Because of her bemused smile, "they said she must hold secrets, that she was the quintessential "femme fatale". With all of these new ideas about the Renaissance being discussed, the "Mona Lisa' became the symbol of that".

FREDDIE MERCURY of the british Rock Band QUEEN

On 22 November 1991, Mercury called Queen's manager Jim Beach over to his Kensington home, to discuss a public statement. The next day 23 November, the following announcement was made to the press on behalf of Mercury.

Following the enormous conjecture in the press over the last two weeks, i wish 2 confirm that i hav
been tested HIV positive and have AIDS. I felt it correct to keep this information private to date to
protect the privacy of those around me. However, the time has come now for my friends and fans

those worldwide in the fight against this terrible disease. My privacy has always been very special
to me and i am famous for my lack of interviews. Please understand this policy will continue.

Researchers in a 2008 study, analysed samples of Napoleon's hair from throughout his life, and from his family and other contemporaries. All samples had high levels of arsenic, approximately 100 times higher thsn the current average. According to these researchers, Napoleon's body was already heavily contaminated with arsenic as a boy, and the high arsenic concentration in his hair was not caused by intentional poisoning; people were constantly exposed to arsenic from glues and dyes throughout their lives. 2007 and 2008 studies  dismissed evidence of arsenic poisoning, and confirmed evidence of peptic ulcer and gastric cancer as the cause of death.. ;D
