I stand to correct myself, the Filipine persons who are in the American army have not pulled out of the wars either. Do not worry it was American dollars that helped train many people in the middle east so that they could protect themselves and be treated with human dignity and not inhumane like it was before.
Many things have gotten better because of Americans helping as well.

Like I said Philippines needs resources your trained and licensed professional now so if you do not like what America has done for the world your always wellcome to practice her in the Philippines because many philippine persons are running out of her for greener pastures those same pastures that have such horrible armies.

So we need good guys like you to come back home and share your good trade with your fellow country men.

I am sure your family would love to see you practicing at home in Philippines.

Lorenzo could you please explain the senseless things that have been going on in Basilin killing innocent civilians all the way from the deep south up into northern Luzon? What do you call that?
That is the kind of stuff that you Filipinos are protecting especailly GMA herself. Why is your countries leader into protecting these terrorist from your country?

Americans did not pull out for fighting for world peace not like Philippines did for one father some 6 years a go.

many of Americans hafe fought my dear so that you and I could have a better world. not all wars are senseless are they?

I heard your paying less for gas then your fellow country men are over here per gallon.

So now that you know your country needs professionals and and you are licensed why not come back and practice here in Philippines?

Many people could use your valuable help.

According to the provincail tourism police cheif inspector in Panglao. the tourism police are aware of those both native and foreign who are into drugs at the beach or anywhere else for that matter.
The weakness in the law folks is that the police would love to frame the drug culprits but the funding is the problem.
The guys do not haveenough money in they're own pockets to use as frame up monies to catch the drug dealers. the court system would take to long in returning such monies. Governor Aumentado would like to see that the death penalty be put back into act for persons dealing with drugs.
About two weeks ago the provincail police had an anti drug training held at Camp Dagohoy this island.
I hope that things result from this recent training actitivity. Last week they did have a drug bust her on the island of Bohol just one week after the traioning.
I think I have met this German in Tawala that leo is talking about. I plan on going out to Panglao maybe bynext month to do some looky looying around.

Hello

I am back with new and added news regarding Danao and it's newwest recreatinal addition.
This day I am able to write here in this blog and talk about the wonderfull oppurtunity that I had this morning in Danao Bohol.

If you are a person who loves adventure then this small municipality is for you as there are many things to do that include doing things in the outdoor's.

The new activity is done via cable hard hat and helmet. You are handled by trained guides who will help you gear up for safety.
The highest elevation is at 200 mitres, and at average Philippine size and weight you can make it going across in about 50 seconds and make sure when you do this type of recreation to keep your eyes open and look down and all around while gliding through the air across the gully over the rapid moving river below.

When landing back to the opposit mountain peak from the crossing you there are guides who will stop you by braking the cable as you have about a two mitre distance from the end of the line.

The cost is PHP350.00 non resident of Danao and PHP150.00 for residents of Danao.

The axpected grand opening of the Suizline is being planned around the 28th of this month.

The expected guest to be at the opening event include Sec. Tourism Ace Durano, and Bohol's own Singing Bee Cesar Montano.

Other activities featured at Danao are Rapppeling. Kayak/Rubber Rafting, River trekking, Bouldering and Rock Climbing, Wall Climbing, the LGU's who have designed the recreational park are also planning to make a Monkey trail with the Suizline.

There are accomodations for around 16 people at present as there are some cottages with own in room completed C.R's.

The cost to stay in the cottage is 600.00 Peso. an extra bed will cost you 200.00 peso.

At Mayor's farm house he can accomodate another 50 persons.

Lorenzo I sure wish that you could of watched the movie now playing at cinema's titled Balleder.

I truly think you would enjoy the story very much.

I enjoyed it.

it was about a true love story of couples who had been through the Spain/Phil war.

The Spainards ended up surrendering in the movie.

It showed how insecure the Spainard captains were to their own troops.

Many had dies to sickness and poor rationings which later ccaused fatal sickness from starvation.

Oh my goodness' I walked out of the movie with tears flowing from my tear ducts.

I hope that you have a chance to watch it.

Hope you Holiday was a well one.

It is to bad it it happened all for a bible.

I think it is even more odd to hear how poorly Asians are treated in the Arab world when we as white foreigners in Philippines also feel at times how you all feel when your not in your own country and we are in another country and another culture.

Law's are laws and it has nothing to do with where he is from.

My question is why was the bible located near to anyones feet to be stepped on to begin with?

I see many biased issues here, Filpinos are even biased about they're own people here.

My God is your God so there fore I am not and you are not made more better any another person.

Love they neighbor no matter what his flag of origin, religeon or his skin color.

Happy New Year!
#709
From Tagbilaran Pier to near by desyinations will run you from a minimumof 40.00 piso and up depending of skin color and nationality.

So if your a Pinoy or a Pinay stop complaining your fare is still way less then mine will ever be!

Foreigners are particuraly angry about this double pay treatment that we get here in Philippines not just in Bohol.

I have vollunteerd space and time in my column space in the newspaper's that I write in and nothing is done about the bad habitys these drover's are imposing on they're passanger's.

Mayor does not care about much it seems like this past few months.

Some residents were stranded in parts of Cortez after the heavy rains this past two days.

It was so deep in certain reported areas through out Cortez that Jeepney's were unable to pass through the main roads and rural routes.

A detour was mentioned to wind your way from tagbilaran passing near to Correlia.

We also had hail about two years ago in Tagbilaran as well.

It almost went unnoticed to to the high winds that day as well.

It sounded really neat and melted really fast once the iced pellets hit the tiles on the porch.

Yesterday and through out the entire night heavy rainwater's saggerated area's of Bohol flooding out over seven barangays and over 200 homes particuraly in the municipality of Clarin.

Word had reached media outlets and as news spread media personalities were on it as fast as they could be and visited the the Municipio of Clarin to get the full details of the barangay's, homes and peoples lives who are affected.

Later on we heard unconfirmed reports of Landslides happening in Municipio of Loboc.

News from Loboc was not yet reported to the police as of this afternoon.

The news came from Yap owners of a locally operated lumber store who are living in that area where the lanslide had occured.

Loboc - Bohol / Re: The Loboc Children's Choir
December 30, 2008, 04:12:49 AM
The Choir's director is a retired teacher from tthe local area who is married to the secretary of Mayor Calipuson.

Alma Taldo is her name, and her kids when younger were also participants in the choir.

One of her sons is a a Loboc City Councilor.

The other children of the Taldo family are either abroad or schooling or working near by.

The family is like my adopted family here in Bohol.

Very good people.

It has been several months now since the VICE MAYOR's program started airing on DYRD AM!

I enjoy the program very much. It is informative and none negative and none controversial listening.

The Mayor Dan Neri Lim of Tagbilaran has abadond vessel at dyrd and has a new onboard residence at DYTR.

Mayor has told several business owners locally that it is bawal for them to place ads in the Bohol Chronicle or the DYRD/KISS radio.

In my opinion no one has the right           to tell any person or business owner how they should be spending they're money.

The business is paying taxxes leave them alone Mr. mayor and stop being such a damned dictator!

Batchoy is a really nice person. Who has a great heart and a true concern for the people in the community.
Batchoy has served time living in the states and knows how people should be treated.

During the holiday Batchoy is on leave from any radio programming that he does on his morning show "pulso" he told me that he wants to be off off the airwaves during the holidays to avoid being negative for the listener's and for himself.

I agree who wants to hear about the down trodens of life during the holiday's?

Who ever is doing this to Batchoy needs to stop and think about if this was someone in their family who was being harrased, hazed or threatend and having properties destroyed?
I bet the one doing this action to Batchoy would not like it one bit!
#720
okay as if people just sit and want to lay blame on the present goverment sytem instead of getting off  of they're butt's and doing something about it themselves.

I see many whiner's here who know and see what is wrong so why do these same people not do anything about it?

Actions speak louder than words!

Wow! I just seen Mike tonight at the party of Congressman Chatto during a party he had thrown for local Bohol Media members.
Everyone had a great time at the party.
Mike looks totally darling and cute as ever!!!

In fact I have never seen Mike look so nice as he does now.
He has lost weight from the last time he was in Bohol last July.

He plans on being here up untill Janurary 14th, 2009.

He brought with him a professor friend from Mindanao who is also very cute and charming person.

I am serious girls especailly you single ones out there, my tongue was about to drop out of my mouth when I had seen Mike and how he looks now.
I also let him know.
I am sure he is giggling when he reads this!

Happy and Safe New Year Everyone!

Or was it Golden seal Root? the health food store employees will know what it is when your askiing for it.

If anyone out there is doing drugs and I hope your not and its in your sytem but you want to better your lives pot can stay in your system for days.

Just take a natural pill sold in local health stores how the mill men did in my town and drink the pills prior to taking your P---- test because the one I will suggest will hide it in the test results.

The name is "Golden Root Seal".

Yeah but it was sort of over looked as I was in Manila 6-9 of Dec, and the papers are currently plugged with Pacman news at present from the front page to the back page.

tHATS GOOD FOR LAS VEGAS BUT THAT IS NOT FOR THE ENTIRE US IT IS LOCAL AND BEING THAT HE IS NOT A NATIONAL AND IS NOT A CITIZEN THERE HE DOES NOT HAVE A AN AMERICAN SOCAIL SECURITY CARD THERE. I am not so sure how Visa's work maybe the tax is taken off the top?

i THINK IT WOULD BE INTERESTING SINCE HE IS A NATIONAL HERE JUST TO SEE HOW MUCH THEY DO DEDUCT AS FAR AS TAXXES.

i AM ALSO MAD ABOUT THE cONGRESS BAIL OUT OF AUTO MAKERS WHY NOT HELP ALL BUSINESSES OUT THOSE FACTORIES ARE MOSTLY IN mICHIGAN sTATE.

AMERICA IS ALSO NOT IN THE SAME SHAPE AS SHILIPPINES and we do not just focus our lives around sports how they do here.

Here in Philippines I feel some priorities need to be in order other than Boxxing, Basketball and Bahalina! If certain priorities should come first then once those other things start bennefiting others as a majority and there is improvement here in this nation then by all means enjoy every day talking and patronizing about a sports hero who does well for himself.

I am not opposed to him or anyone else winning its the value and the amount of time being ussed for somerthing as boxxing or any other competitive sport its so commercail and organized these days.

The world is full of people who do great for others who make a difference in bettering the lives of others do they get the attention same as a sports hero who does good for himself.

Pacman has more games to come and more money to win I wish him and any other manin this world as much luck health and and good victory.
Pacman has won the match last Sunday but last night while passing along the streets in Tagbilaran young children and adults are still sleeping in the streets while people pay more attention to one country man and one fight against another man.

I see many Filipino at this internet cafe working on processing paper's to get the heck out of this country and make better for themselves in greener pastures.
Pacman won last Sunday I have yet to see his money help those here have better lives since the people patronize him so much what can he do here to make this place better and make people want to stay here instead to find work.

Sure Grazie if he was producing many jobs for people to work at and providing sub divisions for the homeless people to live in and doing other good things for his people here then by all means he deseerves every amount of attention that he gets.

I feel the same way about him and others from around the world who do so well and are loved by many for their accomplishments and that they should spread their wealth for charitable causes after they have extra from spending it on what they need.

Sports like this give the wrong impression to youth these days as if education is not important and if being discovered as a sports player is a better option but we know thats "one in a million and a chance of a life time".
A song sang before from a well known Boholano who could not handle the spot light for to long.

Instead that man had a family and came back home to his grass roots to a place where he chooses to raise his family more then anywhere in the world.

Fame is not everything alone my friends it is how you handle and use it that matters most of all.

Grazie I am not wanting to argue or be mean about things I think when it is time to call be back to earth and reality and pay more attention on the things the could make a nicer change to live with in the world at present.

Pacquiao is a "FOX" is he not girls? ;)

I recently flew the blue beautiful skies of the Philippines and before approaching the airport landing strip you could see from way up above just how murky th waters truly are in the bay.

Can you imagine salt water not being strong enough to break such a virus down?

I am a victim of a staphococal virus here a few years back as I use to exspose me feet to the sidewalk and streets here by wearing only my slippers

I had to put very expensive topical creams on me in all of my perrenial areas of my body in between my vagina and anal area.
My underarms and my bellybutton.

I could of died if i would have waited longer to go to the Dr. I also had expereinced rapid hair loss.

Think about it, people and animals here urinate and also put feces on the streets here as well as humans and dog blood also landing on the street.

Ecoli, and other bacteriums are form under our own feet in the cities walk ways and once it  makes contact with your skin it can also infect you.

I am always advising people not to expose their bare feet in the streets here for the simple reason of the bacteria spreading and becoming a virus.

Take it from one who knows from conviction.

Okay lets move on to other important topic so this guy can punch good for him he is very rich so there are some of us who are educated and do well swith our love for work also.
Do we get as rich as he does for a sport that is so brutal what I do not get honestly is this country is into the brutality of fighting with its animals via cock fighting and now boxxing and a man making loads when most Philippine persons sacrifice and pay for a good educatio to have a career that pays descent wages.

I think it is so weird this country is happy for a man who knows nothing but how to use his wit and talents in boxing strategeis and also how he make so much more money compared to some one who has spent a long time studying.

He is ery lucky he can make that kind of money in America is he paying taxxes in America for his winnings?

Peanute kisses make me run and deposit real fast like after eating them.

I can not beleive how long the stores here allow products with egg in sit on the shelf for over 6 months expiration.

Back to Peanute kisses the kisses are coated with vanila and peanute with sugar and rolled and being stuck together with egg whites.

Beans, Rice, Potatoes, and eggs are considered the highest food hazzards for holding after they are cooked.

Thanks for the posting Inday Grace.  Can you imagine a muslim Phil Marine in command to subdue the MNLF in Mindanao? We are so biased with  our muslim brothers and sisters which comprises 15 % of the nation´s population, that I could say  this conflict will never be settled.

Biased is very well said. My grandmother was biased and I did not like that part of her. She had gone through the civil war era and been through the "great Depression" and she had her reasons for how she felt. (To each his own).

I have been friends with many persons who are colored and I find them often to be more educated then some white people.
I am not raised with a biased or prejudiced bone in my body (knock on wood).
My parents raised me level headed and especailly my father he told me that anyone from anywhere will teach you somethin as he from a different place.

What is the ITF plan to do about these matters. Posters reminding the crews to be vigilant at all time for intruders is not enough.

ITF is a union which covers certain flagged shipped and sets guidelines on how seamen are to be treated in the right way.

They make sure that the things happening are board are being handled in accordance to human rights, working conditions, food and on board conditions and the safety of the men at sea. (solas).

Schools have a lot to work on here in order to be better improved.

It just seems like they are out for the money only.

One College was or untill now is charging PhP30.00 for every late day of registration here in Bohol.

It often not the fault of the sudent enrollee.

The system for the enrolling has flaws and forces students to come back and register for classes at a later date.

Then they end up suffering from the schools slipshod way of having a bad registration system that students will pay at time of registration.

Medical knowledge given to me regarding the birth control contrceptive the "PILL" an oral contraceptive that is dispensed by prescription only in America after the gynecologist has conducted a pap smear and hormone blood testing. He or she will determine what is a good dosage of pill to take for your body.

My OBGYNE at Oregon Health Sceinces University in the States said that the pill there when taken is lowwer chance of getting cevical cancer, and lowwer chance for heart disease.

So what we have a little weight gain or weight loss I did not gain much while I was taking the pill.

The pill is also prescribed for women who are polycistic and do not have normall regulated monthly periods.
The pill when taken reguraly will help to regulate the women to have balnced hormone levels to be able to have regulated normal month to month menstruation cycles.

I have read your comments both for and against the ideal of the Loboc River Cruise at night.

The ride is one night a week every saturday night.

The lights are the same green color along the banks not big white spotlight type lights.

The lights are on anywhere from 45 minutes up to 1 hour 15 minues at the time.

A major company from Manila sponsored the project.

The Loboc Tourism Center has improved very much.

Think of it like this Bohol is beautiful and now with more tourist planning to enter Bohol which does not offer much more jobs and either anything that is industry.
Most jobs worked here that are avaulable are minimum wage type jobs and minimum wage is hard to raise a family on.

Tourism has a chance to boom here in Bohol if things are looked at perspectivley.

More jobs will be created for Boholanos to be able to keep families here in Bohol which will strengthen family values because fewwer people here will not be going out of the province to have a job and they will be abl to support their family and stay close to them, instead of broken up.

Bohol is truly trying to become a much nicer place to live and visit.

LGU Philippines / Donuts For a City Mayor
October 30, 2008, 11:37:32 PM
I recently heard from a reliable source that a city business franchize manager who has close ties in with the City of Tagbilaran Mayor wants to run for Tagbilaran Mayor next mayoral election?

Maybe because he is a friend to everyone and contributes donuts for free to many he might just sweeten his way up to preceeding over the reigns of Mayor Lim at the end of his term.

This particular manager has been a big contributor for the province and the community.

I just hope that the leaving present mayor at the time will not be controling him by puppet strings.

Today during an Alarma meeting  held at the ICM Prawn Farm Restuarant with the local BTMA the guest speaker was Adsam Jala congressman third ditrict of bohol.

Topic was regarding small town lotto's and who it would be bennefiting?

When I asked a question to him regarding the churches and the bibles veiw on gambling and it is wrong in they're eyes he had whipped out all kinds of documents of local church organizations who are accepting the money from lotteries, and bingo halls.

He repeatedly conveyed over and over again that he tried to contact Bishop Medroso but no one returned his calls from the cathedral.

So his message was that the church really does not have any rights to complain of such a lotto being placed in Bohol because they are benneficaries odf such activities.

Some media members lashed out that he is only being the Representative of Arroyo so that he can make good friends with vice mayor's and Mayor's around Bohol.

he also mentioned that the present pcso lotteries that are here do not bennefit Bohol and are just here making revenue for other parts of Phillipines.

Congressman Jala said that it is not illegal gamble, and that instead said it is illegal and immoral to play it so much that your family ends up starving.

I meed before anyone votes here in the Philippines many things need to be worked on just like back home in the states but the only darn difference is we do not get bought out for cheap for our votes we are not that hard up to risk our lives at just a mere50 cents up to 60.00 dollars at times.

Lim has been at it again being a "  _ _ _ _ S Q ueez!"  I am sure hoping the man does not run again and that he goes back to being a family lawyer.

He has hurt business here and insulted some of the nicest people in the community who have contributed a lot.

He is like a baby always poops in his diaper when his shots are called as bad!

He should know of all people do not mix your personal and your profesional together.

He needs to receive the same treatment as Ebenezor Scrooge did on the night before Christmas and allow all his sip sip and insults and mean things haunt him or back fire up on him and anyone who say's they like this person needs to have they're heads examined.

I can not stand her ramblimg on about negative things always when she and him should be talking aboout they're strengths instead in order to make the economy and the country stronger again.

All they do is worry about Obama.

I find him to be a very intelligent human being regardless of his color or things he did in the past or who he has met in person breifly.

He have all rubbed arms with some sort of villian in our lives does that make us bad?

Wow we sure have come a long way baby!

The style of the American uniforms that is.

But sad to say we still have malnourished and underfed children from here whose parents find it hard even these days of crisis to get a meal on the table 3x a day.

I have seen a lot of people purchasing junk foods and hardly anyone in grocery lines.
During an ALARMA meeting two years ago I had emphasized with Sen.Loren Logarta and had gotten myself in deep when I had complained about 12% EVAT eventually killing everyone.

I was looking into the future the outcome.

Now yesterday it was said that evat could be exempted for foreigners, I think it would be better to lessen it or throw it out completly.

Thank You!
For the picture.

Happy All Souls Weekend and Day!

Ha ha ha ha! I think it is higher percentage including yahoo chat, AOL, and Match date .com.

Yea there sure are some tasty vitals out there to tilaw these days.

Many married couples are having open marraiges these days.

It makes for a variety is a spice of life motto for some.

Many women get pregnant here in Bohol non married and know that the guys who bed them and plant the seeds of life with inside they're wombs are also married what can she do not a thing and he just continues spreading his fruit.

In my state bacjk home the government will hunt the man down and his socail security and place of work and have his wages garnished for help in supporting the baby.

I think Philpippines and its highly populized condition should adopt the same policies.

Today more and more people are being truly affected by the increases.

I had wrote a column a while back ago regarding this crisis matter a few months before it had happened.

I warned many people to slow down spending, stop having babies and reserve what is remaining of local resources.

people did not listen and as a result of over spending and used up resources we are now paying much higher then ever before for services.

Talk of the Town / Re: Poison Letter at City Hall
October 29, 2008, 11:01:20 PM
The letter was mentioned during the time that the council had other business matters to discuss.
The councilors were waiting on Ms. Palma to come down with the financail list of what is going on in the ciyhall with casual workers.
councilor Zamora was not even resent durig that meeting. I was sitting behind his chair which was empty the entire session.
Councilor Rama was the one who had brought up the letter and some members of the couclil shuddered that it would not be a good time to bring up the matter.
Cezar from DYTR was there as far as media and I.
later after the meeting in the mayor's lunch hall were Bantugan, glovasa, Bompat, and Ted Ayeng along with Cezar Compananon had been invited to eat and dine on seafoods for lunch along with councilor Cabalit.
Me no I was not invited but I had entered the chamber full of crusty crastacion carcassas and was inquiring about having a christmas parade I was not entertained.

we not only inherited her problems but her families problems in Leyte.

This is so unfair.
#757
I think you all need to go back to the bible.

No pre marriatal sex!

No absolutly not should the teen parents be able to act or do young things its time to grow up and be responsible and think ahead.

Here teenagers get pregnant and want to live for free off of the parents because life is free, lot is free, electric is free, food is free, and responsiblities are dumped on the parents of the teenage kids.

I am speaking from conviction.

I heard it said tonight from a young dad he wants to make a house on the lot of hids dad because it is free.
He lives with the girlfirend and the baby at the house and neith of them help to earn their keep.
He works but does not contribute to the bills.
They just buy for them his girlfriend from Leyteis worthless as can be lays on her back all day and watches wowwowee!

When she came to the house even though I had lectured for them to seperate before she became pregnant so that he could go back and finish PMI but he went to live with her in Leyte instead and got her pregnant despite their promises not to get pregnant.

The family clininic here said that she had neved had a baby before and that even though they knew they were a hot couple who were very active she talked then out of contraceptives.

Do you see the clininc supporting them and they're kid?

Think again people you do adult things then you must learn to handle it in an adult way!

Question and Answer / Re: Does Your Bra Fit Correctly?
October 27, 2008, 10:01:41 PM
Let me be the first one to answer, my daughter just noticed that I am wearing a baby bra yes you read correctly!

I had purchased it and two others at the childrens clothing section at ICM. I have managed to stuff myself in quit snug indeed.

but compfortable.

As I do not need to buy a padded bra in the ladies section beause I came her with enough of my own stuffing to put inside of a bra.

For me here in PhilippinesI have to buy mens rubber shoes that look like something sort of on the Natzi side.

I am losing weight and still not small enough breasted to go for a padded bras specail or a breast feeding bra that the cup just comes off quickly by fasteners or velcro.

It great for a husband or a boyfriend to have one of those bra's if we wanted to have some fast foreplay hey hey hey!
#761
I do numerous things..Ha! just depends on why I can not sleep?

Hmmm? For instance here in Tagbilaran I am watching the stck market on FOX news.

I am also watching the elections on international news channels.

I am use to my pacific northwest standard time back home in the states even thugh I have been here for 7 years.

How sad, she is asweet actress. How could anybody now a days be this ruthless.

I really think people now a days have no shame.
#763
Its bad when a dad abandons any mother for any amount of children that they may have together.

Especaily when he does not send any support money, thats terrible.

Its exactly another reason why men should not over populate their families because more and more I am seeing and observing more men leaving their wives behind for another woman. Right here in good old conservative Bohol!

It could happen to any nurse under any nationality.

How does the saying go; Cann't live with with it or with out it!

Really people come on there is a time and place but not when your working with life and death and sickness issues or really anytime when your work is working with the public.

Nothing more offending then long lines and when your at the window low and behldif the pen does ot pointat you tohold on or wait a minute why they gab off their heads in the meantime.

Mayor Balistoy is no innocent aples in this matter, neither does it give her husband the right to do what he did regarding the incident.
Mayor was away for a long  long long vacation out of the Philippies recently and when people try to get along with her she is actting like that of a ______! Just ask half of her city council members what they think about their mayor.

She refussed to even have an interveiw just after winning the position by local media.

I would say from knowing her and hearing things said about her she needs to buy a kinder personality.

I am sure in this matter if you know this woman and how she is really, I am sure her husband was forced to be the way he has become do to the environment that she makes for him.

In my country if you take a kid out of state and you are the parent nd the kid is out of state with out the other parent knowing about it then in that matter it is considered child kidnapping.

I am interested to see how atty. Salva Diputado handles being this mans atty.

I have my personal reasons to watch his performance on this one and see how he can handle going up against a politican.

I am sure the husband was sick and tired of her ways and this is a result of what really is causeof the environment they have around them.

He should of moved onand let her have her suspected relationships.

It would have been a better choice then what they are going through now.
#767
you are right Manay Tess.

Here in Bohol we do not have that problem with the local media amongst ourselves.

I have been aware of media personalities that have been threatend here.

I am looking for Mike I hope he is here. I need to chatwith him now, it is urgent.

The rates have made a difference and came just on time with this s called crisis. I have seen more households with candle burining inside at night versus those being lit up by Bohol lit as BLC clients.
My bill has jumped up from around 900+ from year 2002 and the same current ussage of power runs around P1700+

Now they have a policy and they are strict about it if you are two months behind they will cutt off your electricity.

BLC has always been fai to me as it has with mostof ts clients. I als noticed it had been one of the last electric companies t have such an increase.

I just found out from an aulmnii of HNU why they stopped havng beauty pageants held at school it was due to the shorty short short sittuation being more hiked up in thesports clothes and figure portion of the contest.

The meeting was about drainage issues and tagbilaran tourism as well as provincail wide tourism.  Ahem!

Closed Door's?
#773
Grazie my friend try t log into the live website of the AM radyo of dyrd. If they read certain texts or emails and it has to do with a foreigner or filipino being a victim or dieing here or being killed 9 out of ten times it can be known to be read abruptly then suddenly cutt short.

For example a today relatives in Cebu found out that they're relative died at Corrolandia resort my news paper TBS came out with the news of the happening even made it part of the front page.

The news anchor reading the text does not even try to mae phone calls regarding the matter.
What does that tell you?

It is their right to say and do what they want, and it works to the advantage of the media outlet owner as he is chairman on provisional tourism and has a massage clinic and a international travel business.

Today there was a closed door meeting and media was not allowed but how conveinyant to be the tourism board, chairman and president of this outlet and be at an unfair advantage to other media outlets.

Maybe with the controversy with mayr Lim and the chronicle this was a chane for Lim to make amends as the news against Mayor Lim was hush over the radio during the meeting with Governor/Lim.

Maybe it was kiss and make up time and then we have Mr. Gvernor who use to write for the Chronicle outlet bet me this wa closed to media to protect personal inerset of the parties involved in the war zone between mayor of tagbilaran and the chronicle outlet.
#774
Nice picture Grazie! You look really adorable. The editor himself has brought up what happend with his offspring volluntarilly with me and said that he can make it through this he is trying to make efforts and amends with the victims family. According other news she was also an aging diabetic.

Since post has came out with the story and who are the ones involved with the accident he is my associate and coleauge Fred Amora who kids are invlved all age's being aged over 18 years of age.

The kids survived but some what scathed of the incident. Even I had given some assistance finacially to help both medically and for the csettlement what ever may be its outcome in order to help my colleauge settle the matter.

Yes the ones involved in the accident admitted to me at the hospital that they had been drinking at the time.

The motor had banged into the older lady pedestrian knocking her down.

I do not press info about this from my editor as he gives me details once in a while.

The question I pose to all of you if you were I would you report this as a news if it were your colleauge?
(Follow-Up?) You know already how media works in your own province many things are white washed and left unknown to the public due to friendships and association.

My philosophy is that work and personal must be seperated. I am only informing you people and this is not meant to be written to ridicule or hurt the persons involved.

Here in this province it is unethical to make much news once a case has been filed but I had posted this new topic prior to the case being filed by the family.

If I hear of anythng else I will keep everyone updated as fair as I can.

Take care!
#775
Let me say something how I feel about this matter. I really hate the constant back stabbing of media personalities and some of the boys at the dyRD sometimes do act somewhat spoiled because they know they are working in a newspaper that has plenty of ads and has written many a good news articles in it's days untill present, but despite the wrong ways in how they hurt me they are my brothers.
The media here in Bohol should get along and help one another as one associate editor has always told me in the past.
Often I have brought news to my friends and some are very impressed with what things I am ale to come up with?
I do not mind sharing the news that I have that way others can be informed by reading the newsprint of their choice.
I have myself written articles myself that Chronicle would not write because they will protect who are they're friends and protect a business. Take for example the city water truck killing incident of an American, the japanese group of tourist who were robbed near Carmen incident, and the challenge i had with provincail police director Inking to ask him straight up if he was protecting a paid witness in an on going rape case in the past that involved a now X mayor here in Bohol. (In that interveiw Inking had grabbed my cell fone and deleted our interveiw).
These were all good news events and pretty major as well in my eyes, the senior writer from the Chronicle gave me the investigating policedocuments to report on the Japanes tourist because his boss at Chronicle did not want to print it?
This past two months I was honorably asigned as the press oficcer of a really great happening as the HNU had staged a musical "Phantom of the Opera" and the show was very much a successe.
The first week Chronicle printed the write up was highly pre approved by Sir. Luspo Chairman of cultural arts at HNU and prior to Chronicle printing the write up it had a hack job that had said the hard truth on how difficult it really was to make a play here in Bohol after some 15.
(Read-We are not living in a perfect world).
The part two the critique of the write-up I tried to pass it at the gate but I was refussed to be let in when even tho I was told they were expecting me to come up the following week with the critique.
The guard at the gate treated me terribly and always has. He also treats pateints seeking help at the gate for the INyong Alagad program according to a media source working there.
Peter Dejarasco is our Media BTMA president and I feel he should always be wellcoming us at and our side, and standing beside us wishing us to always work well amongst our colleauges.
I took the action of the guard as going against HNU and not me because I was there as HNU's press officer.
I was hurt because of the out right rudeness.
I have always been honest in everything that I do and say.
Often I am looked at as a mentor by readers to say the awfull truths of how things really happen here.
I do recall mayor Dan Lim telling me to write for the Sunday Post or the Chronicle because he said the two papers are good.
I have heard mayor Lim say that the anchormen and DJs in dyTR and 911FM are only janitors who have worked themselves to where they are now.
This past week the boys at this media outlet can be seen sitting around tables cluckng like old hens in a barn on how they will handle the problem or how the outcme will come about.
I just want that thhis being christmas time and this place being a Catholic dominant place try to get along and keep in mind that there are times when one needs to grab a gear and real it in.
This is a lesson on how we should all get along with one another and stop wishing bad thigs to happen for others.

Despite intercession of some sectors for a ceasefire to a heated exchange of barbs that had gone sour, City Mayor Dan Neri Lim continued yesterday his tirades against the twin media outlet Bohol Chronicle and its radio station DyRD.
In his regular Saturday morning radio program, heard now on air over station dyTR, Mayor Lim reiterated his challenge for a debate of the brothers that he branded as "Self- Righteous."
He particularly picked,  callingg for a public debate, the brothers Zoilo "Bingo" Dejerasco III and Peter P. Dejerasco; editor in chief and radio station manager, respectivley.
"For 54 years, wa moy mga sala, sagrado mo? You are always right." the city mayor went on, questioning the credibility of the media outfit.
"The bottom line is charachter of a person," the mayor said.
"Maayo kabang bana, maayo kabang amahan," the mayor aimed his guns personally leveled against Bingo Dejerasco.
"If you destroy me, I might as well go ahead destroy you," as he renewed his tirade on the personalities of Chronicle and dyRD.
The city mayor had pulled out his two-hour radio program over dyRD following an editorial of the Chronicle paper questioning his his alleged indiscretion on the city drainage problem that had caused the frequent flooding of low-lying areas in the city.
Explaining his change of mind regarding his preious standd to finally cut these alleged illegal connections to the drainage canals, the city mayor quoted India's icon Indira Gandhi saying "he has aquired wisdom today and he is a better person now than yesterday".
Mayor Lim said he doesn't consider the twin-media as to stay forever citing the collapse of the financail intitution Lehmans Brothers.
The mayor also questioned the caricature in the paper allegedly portraying him a bad guy.
Bingo Dejerasco had refused to dignify the comments of mayor Lim and had opted to personally keep out of the heat, not heard on air; not yet as of now, a dyRD source said.
#777
Hof' at present and at this latest time the news that I have up untill now all I know is that the family has filed a case against this editor's children who were involved in this accident.
Now that it is in the courts hands it is enethical to write about such a matter but instead to let justice prevail.
#778
Grazie you can log into the bohol chronicle website at anytime and read up with what is going on as well as Bantay Balita, The Bohol Standard, Bohol Times and the Sunday post which are published on a weekly basis.

The gruff between the two is that Mark Monton assistant to the city mayor told me at the new Duncan Donuts that Chronicle is not in the position to tell the mayor what to do regarding the CPG ave drainage sittuations.

In a minute I will post a new topic regarding the challenge thrown out by the mayor this morning during "The Mayor's Report" hearn now every Saturday on DYTR AM which is also hosting now a web sight if your interested in catching up with the latest day to day info regarding happenings around Tagbilaran /Bohol.

The AM Radio hosting barangay patrol Mon-Fri weekly with Mayor Lim and Ted Ayeng who is a creditable and very reputable news media man.
is also now AM radio manager for the AM side, and Carlito Responte is GM over all for both 911FM and DYTR AM.

ooops my keyboard typed a wrong message. What I mean to say I have seen more friendleir politicians getting assinated for nothing, it's as if reversal this guy wants to assinate the people buy having them suffer in his control.

I am not afraid to say what comes to my mind it is my right as a permanent resident to say how I have seen this man start out really good and then all of a sudden he is totally flipped his lid into an obese ego and control freak.

But the people are bought for cheap so this is what they get for it cheap service.
#780
I have seen worse politicians then this ione get assasinated.
#781
The joke joke joke of the city!

Many good businesses are shut down because of not having permits.

This mayor is "A" typical of not giving permits but he is rather good in destroying the livlihoods of others by procrastinating at first for permits and then he is also more faster to tear down a business then he would to have one here that could create jobs and revenue in the city.

I think it is typical "Crab Mentality" and it happens to many people around here who have had good businesses because this HOTTY TOTTY pompous mayor takes out personal grudges while he is suppose to be a professional business man and should seperate his business as mayor vs his personal life and keep the two to them under seperate sittuations.

Mayor is in deep crap up to his ears as a very reliable media source said the both DYTR/DYRD are in an all out war with the city mayor because of his going back and forth with the dakbayans issue regarding the drainage system.

Can anyone be honest or nice in this place?

I just came back from a nice time in Lila from being at the fiesta but when I see people trying to stay home instead of being OFWs and trying to create jobs here then the mayor sits on his thumbs and twidles them and leaves people dangling and then closes down the business I can see why the people here want to run away to other countries.

I can see why I get mad when I read this type of crap knowing how hard the life is here for the people of Bohol.

#782
I have been known to make a surprizing phonecall to mayor during mayor reports also only once and the whole city untill now is proud of me untill now.

It was a while ago and people here still laugh and tell me nice work!

I may have a surprize visitor for Mayor Lim.

I am not sure if they are coming here for sure but I will meet with them first and ask them if they want to meet the Mayor who did not assist in the baby of Zach Razcock?

If we go there I am sure Mayor will throw me out on my head for sure!

People need to be either confronted or haunted when they do not help people who they have affected and end up in a bad way.

#783
oops let me correct the last sentence.

"Here I often see nice to your front but at the back it is just like as if I were being treated like a mushroom being left in the dark while being fed with a bunch of crap!

I laugh out loud with the saying? "There is a fungas amongst us!"
#784
When we spoke together in text he said the same words that you did.

I hear people talk the crud about me also GF but it is part of being in the media even my coleauges treat me like crud because I am always saying the truth and they are being paid to say otherwise.

Me I have nothing to lose. I hope also the the truth will prevail and that Oliva will end up being in the clear of what maybe aledged qwack qwack qwack!

People who have never met me love me and people who who have never met me but listen to others make up mean things about me hate me.

People here want to be my friend they appreciate my work and my good and realistic attitude but gof forbid them if they are seen by they're other peer's so they do not hang with me.
I am not plastic and if I know about some one or sometrhng I speak about it whether it is true or not.
I am not here to impress anyone. I pay my own bills I am nice and caring to others and that is what God truly wants.
Here I often see people are nice at the back but in a time of need they are not there for you.
Funny though how I am always there when they need me for help with anything.

Lets always hope for the best for everyone.

General Topic / Re: Homeless Shelter in Bohol
September 30, 2008, 11:05:29 PM
Tagbilaran has already a woman and childrens center located close to the LTO in Catugasan Dist.

I am not sure on what are the current stats on who or what type of victims are there at current.

But as many children and people here and the start of homeless families living on the streets in soiled clothes depending on kind hand outs you would think that the Catholic Religeon in how controlllling that it is here would have an IOda of heart to take concern for they're poor and homeless.

I know at present at the new wave duncan donuts that there is a starving mother alongside of her son who sleep right outside at night in front of the duncan donut and the new Cebu Air entrance. She and her son wear the same clothes every day and night.
The people here say she is crazy because she laughs all the time?

Is that really laughter or that from being put into the state of mind she is in from proverty?

It is not so funny to be considered crazy by your brother's and sister's of the same faith because you are poor and desperate and homeless.

Many just walk past her and diregard her?

The cathedral is just across the street. You think the church would allow her to pray in her filthy condition do you think the church could have a clothes run to help cover her and her son up?
#786
intersting post Boy it has been my thought for some time also. Many people have tried it and many people lie or deny they have tried it.
It makes people tired, always laughing, and when I was in school back in the day(lol) some students took mushrooms or other drugs to make them more alert for classroom lectures and test taking.
Chocolate meth was the latest drug that I was made aware of before I graduated.
In England it is a class C misdemeanor.

Grazie have you ever met with Benji Oliva?

He is a super good kid. Many here are jealous of him and it is a big part of crab mentality here.

I have only heard from one media person who is writing for the Chronicle now that all he complained about was how much Olivia is a crook?

I have the cell number of Benji if you ever want to meet up with him.

He came from a poor family and did well in school.

He has been able to represent Bohol's youth and has worked hard at it.

I spoke recently with Oliva and he was upset when I was the one to inform him of Leo Uhtahons public service letter in the Sunday Post less then about two months ago.
Since then or should I say all of a sudden there is an investigation because strngley enough someone from Iolo Iolo who is so far away knows about what is going on way over here.

Come on Boholano's stand y our man through thick and thin!

In texting Oliva informed me he is not doing anything wrong and that God knows he has been good and that is what keeps his consceince clear.

Benji is not a snob and has even taken the time to sit down with my daughter and help encourage her to do good for her future.

I also hope that the investigation comes up clean as a whistle for Oliva.

#788
Feesably it does not cost as much to operate a lighter utiliied motor vehicle as opposed to the Jeepney og multi-cab.
I live here and I personaly find some tricycle drivers lazy.
Many do not want to go to far from the city to service places that multi cabs do not go on.
They follow you in the city harrasing you to ride with them and it is getting annoying when I almost have to walk past all the dogs almost mile to the LTO frm my gate or often further maybe to Camp Dagohoy just to catch a tricyce I am irritated untill no end!
I often pay P15 or more for one rider as it is.
My most favorite about tricycles is it is hard to feel sorry for them when they are choosy to pick who and where they want to go when it comes to service?
It does not make me feel to much looy for them.
Have you ever passed a pool/biiliardhall in the afternoon and seen all the parked tricycles outside and the drivers are inside drinking beers some times even drinking hard liquer just before they go to pick up the students at school!

I really have to think of the reality as well as the sittuation at hand.
#789
Exactly my same points of thought Mike.

You need to get some rest friend I can see your mind is busy jst relax we appreciate you very much in Tubag and know your of most of us are taking this pretty hard.

Any of us our open for private email chats at any time if not then we should be.

The best form of counciling in the being in the comfort to confide wit others knowing what you say to them goes no further.

#790
She was a very good person indeed. Before Tubag website was ever invented she was on my messanger for a long time on yahoo.
She would always let me know how much she did not like the bad changes that were happening here from her home  island of Bohol.

She was inspired by peoples hapiness. You must realize why it is important to be nice at all times with people even though life can dish out obstacles that are hard for some of us to get out ourselves out of.

I have read just about everyones comments and rememberances in here and they are nice and some of you loved her as much as I did she was not only beautiful on the outside but she I would call my cute Japanese Doll and she was gigle with me on that and coo about it.

She was highly positive with ut a doubt and some times in these days some one as good as her can seem to good to be true.
She was calm and knew how to keep cool.

I regret not having the time with my hectic scheldule here when she visited Bohol she was always askiing me to meet with her for once and that she wanted me to make her laugh in person.

There is a Billy Joel song that use to come to my mind when my classmate died at a very young age. The title is "Only the Good  (best)Die Young."

And she is truly a sweetheart then now and always.

I had already commented today before I had seen the home page information and the email sent from Mike so please excuse me for that.

What we need to do always is to be kind and considerate of other's and not step on one anothers toes and allow and encourage people we love and know to reach they're dreams and goals.

Allow people a right of opinion and not be judgemental. Instead we need to e more like Orchids as sweet as can be so when it is our time to go with a our father and creator peope will remember us the same way as we remembering Orchids.

May God rest her sould and help her family and loved in this time of greif and loss.

I am truly saddend by the news myself.

I was giving the speech for both Fluent Spanish and English during the event. The Japanese Teacher spoke very well as he is a Filipino.

This coming week in October 3rd and 4rth we will be showwing the play the Phantom of the Opera.
The liberal arts students have been working hard on this project.

it is about a 8 act play cut down into 45 minutes to an hour in time.

The dark violent scenes were taken out as well as the kiss at the end will not be on the lips oe the the hand but placed upon the forehead.

I will be doing a write up for the play by this Sunday for Bohol Standard.

Maybe also for Bantay Balita.

I travel to get out and meet people and network with them I have met many nice persons from traveling and I have also learned from them as well.

There are some yackers out there no doubt about it.
They talk so much and then it always seems when you are busy is when people want to talk your ears off.

last time I had my long flight here from the states I had fallen asleep for most of the flight going to Taipai Taiwan.

I felt bad because the guy sitting beside was not in his chair the entire flight maybe I had fallen onto his shoulders while sleeping so he met up with friends at the back of the plane and chatted with them the entire flight lucky me it was business class so more room for me! :)
