LGU Philippines / Re: Who Was Augustus?
January 22, 2010, 02:07:03 AM

This statue was created after the death of Octavian (reigned 31st BC-14 th AD), during the reign of the Emperor Tiberius. The worship of the emperor began even during the lifetime of Octavian (in 27 BC the Senate awarded him the title Augustus: the Holy, divine Son, father of the native land, descendant of Venus and Aeneas), and under his successors this became an official cult. Here the emperor is represented as Jupiter, the supreme God of the Roman pantheon, and this statue is a typical example of Roman sculpture from the time of the Empire. The composition was adapted from the celebrated sculpture of Zeus by Phidias, which allowed the placing of the appropriate attributes in Augustus's hands: a Nike and a sceptre. The sculptor preserved the emperor's portrait features, but idealized them to create a formal cult statue.

His reign ushered in the great Pax Romana.

It's funny because of all the women I've dated, the ones whom I really had a strong connection with were all older than me. My first gf was 2 years older, my current gf is only older by a couple of years.

When I was 21, I dated younger girls who were 19 or 20.
Immature. Did not like it at all. Excessive drama. Which was a turn off. :)

Well.......Pare if you sing good....it counts 100% for sure.

ha ha, pareng bambina, my voice is just 'okay'. Pero so long as that person smiled in the process... :)
I used to volunteer in a nursing home when i was in college, and i used to talk to the residents, and sometimes, when put on the spot, sang a little bit for them. Especially the ones who were stricken with dementia and depressed.

Its amazing how a simple song can make a person smile.

How very heart warming and touching. Like they say, you never really know when you fall in love till you meet the right person. Sometimes the wait takes a while, but when it does..oh boy. It's truly worth the wait.

I was lonely,
I needed someone, to see me threw,
I was at the, end of my rope,
I needed someone, to cut me lose
Then an angel, out of the blue,
Gave me the since that I, might make it through
And somehow I survived, with no rhyme or reason,
And now I know I'll make It,
Through the miracle of you

[Chorus]
I know the Color Of Love,
(And It lives in side of you)
I know the color of truth,
(Its in the image of you)
If it comes for the heart, then you know that its true,
It will color your soul, like a rainbow
(Like a rainbow)
And the color of love, is in you

[Shawn]
Like a bridge,
Over troubled, troubled water
You stood beside me, stood beside me
And your love, did not falter
And then the angel, angel in you,
Gave me the strength to know,
That I will get through,
And that’s how I survived, ain't no other reason
And now I know I'll make it, through the miracle of you

[Chorus]

[Bridge]

[Wanya]
So girl I want to thank you,
I can't thank you enough,
For showing me the meaning,
The meaning of true love,
(When I was lost and so in need you opened up your heart)
(When I needed you to comfort me you opened up you arms)
(I couldn't face another day you said don't be afraid)
You showed my heart the, showed me the way

[Chorus]

[Wanya]
Ohh, the color of you

I SWEAR - piano instrumental

I see the questions in your eyes
I know whats weighing on your mind
But you can be sure I know my part
cause Ill stand beside you through the years
Youll only cry those happy tears
And though Ill make mistakes
Ill never break your heart

I swear
By the moon and stars in the sky
Ill be there
I swear
Like the shadow thats by your side
Ill be there
For better or worse
Till death do us part
Ill love you with every beat of my heart
I swear

Ill give you everything I can
Ill build your dreams with these two hands
Well hang some memories on the wall
And when theres silver in your hair
You wont have to ask if I still care
cause as time turns the page
My love wont age at all

I swear
By the moon and stars in the sky
Ill be there
I swear

Darling,

I must confess to you something. Last week when I laid in your bed, you were caressing my face and combing my curly hair with your fingers. You thought I was asleep. I was not. I was awake. The entire time. I felt so much at home with you.
So, just wanted to let you know.

Every single touch of your finger, as each finger passed through my hair, sent chills down my spine.
The warmth of your being met my warmth. My love, I respect you, I adore you, and most of all incorruptible..I love you.

As I turn to look at her, I see her kneeling and adoring the blessed LORD.
I cannot help but smile.
How faithful is the LORD.
Faithful and Kind.

Glory be to God in the highest.

My angel,

Dearest love, the mere sound of your voice brings calm reverie to my soul.
Don't worry so much on what is going at home, rather, put emphasis on your studies.
As must I.

My love, do not be anxious, but be calm, be stern in what you want, and be confident in the goal.
Keep your eyes on the goal. Keep your eyes on me, as well.
I will always be here, you know that.

Sleep tight, honey.
Kiss kiss,
Yours~

Seeing this video, I am remembered to remind you all my brothers and sisters that it is right for us to Rejoice in the LORD despite the difficulties that life has to offer, for surely, if you trust all your ways in the LORD, you will be glorified by the LORD who works and lives within you.

This man, this cripple, is an example of living not only through physical means, but living through faith, which has enabled him to move the mountains in his life. And that is being a cripple, having no legs, no arms, no feet, no hands. Yet, he is able to move, able to encourage and preach the message of Hope.

For this man is a good example of having faith like a mustard seed. And the mustard seed told the mountians, "Move" and the mountain did move.

~

READ:

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
-Philippians 4:4-7

Yes! It's definitely all about fighting for what you believe in. Fighting the Good fight.

"Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time--God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen."

When I do get married, I want 2 weddings.

The first one will be held here in the United States. It will follow a conservative formality, and expenses of the marriage will be taken care/ handled by myself. It will be held in a respectable Roman Catholic Church.

The second wedding will be for formality and traditional reiteration of said vow. It will be held in the Philippines. In Valencia's Roman Catholic Church. It will be grand. After the wedding, I plan to take my bride to the Sacred Image of the Blessed Santo Nino in Cebu City and to receive blessings. As my parents did and as their parents' before them.

God Willing.

ha, I would surmise so, Mr. Daray. For lovers who complement each other, the only barrier to marriage is the duty of medical studies as well as the need to complete medical residency first. After that acquisition, monetary concerns to marriage as well as to the provision of a comfortable lifestyle for said wife and children will be eradicated.

For us who are graduate medical students, marriage is a personal goal. A driving force, one can say.

One that must wait until the right time. Key to this, of course, is patience and faithful love. For both partners.

Human Physiology Lecture (Multiple Part Series)

Let's talk about Physiology. Human Physiology, to be exact.

If one asks, "What is human physiology?"

A: The very fact that we remain alive is almost beyond our control.
The human being is actually an automaton, and the fact that we are sensing, feeling, and knowledgeable beings is part of this automatic sequence of life.

First, know that the body is composed of cells; the cell is the compository makeup of tissues, organ systems. Estimated, there are over 25 trillion Erythrocytes (red blood cells) in the human body. Overall, there are over 100 Trillion cells in the human body.

How lucky is a man to have a lover who is faithful not only to him but to the Almighty God who Reigns Above in Heaven?

Abounding in justification is a man to know that his lover fears and trusts the LORD.

For if one Trusts in the LORD, all is possible. And the LORD will deliver.

To the Lord Jesus Christ, His Eternal Father and the Holy  Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, be unending Glory, Eternal Majesty, Highest Praises, and All Honors.
Forever and Ever.

Amen.

To my impassable Love,

I would like to thank you for your kindness and the sweet nectar that is your messages to me.
Considerate, that is what you are. Considerate of your lover's feelings, your lover's longing, and your lover's work. :)

Aha! Woman, it is you who is saying to me, 'I love you' on a daily basis now.
Ako pa, it was me in the beginning.

Just know and be justified that you bring so much warmth to my complete being, and my heart.
You make my soul glad, and abounding in joy.

The passage in 1st Corinthians chapter 13 verses 1 to 13 speaks truth;

I may be able to speak the languages of human beings and even of angels, but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell. I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have the faith needed to move mountains-but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burned-but if I have no love, this does me no good.

~1 Corinthians 13:1-13

My darling woman, I Love You.

Faithfully Yours.

The best position that a medical student/ physician is in is to provide medical advice to the populace whom are not exposed to the same knowledge that we are given and/or trained in.

In the service of man, in the service of health and propagation thereof. That is the sacred calling and act of a physician.

As for myself, I have taken a pro-chicken stance. My protein intake is mainly chicken and fish. I limit pork and beef intake to as minimum as possible.

Alot of greens: lettuce, romano tomatoes, carrots, celery and okra.

For 3 weeks now, I have been rice-free. :)

Remember that Rice is filled with glucose, glycogen. And in glycogenolysis..which is the break up of glycogen..this is converted into sugar. So for all those who are diabetic...this is contra indicated. he he he he ;D

Mr. Daray,

My advice to you (only because I take this advice myself) is to eat alot of fiber. Eat alot of lettuce, cellery, bakchoy, cabbage. As this helps in raising your HDL and at the same time lowers your LDL levels. This is coincidental with raising cardiovascular health.

To help in reducing your high BP levels, I will advice you stay away from black caffeinated coffee. Stay away from excessive fatty food. Limit your pork, beef intake. Limit your fried food intake. Limit salt intake.

Drink alot of fluid (water).

Exercise daily. Even for only 30minutes to an hour. Walking helps.

January 19, 2010, 09:08:37 PM
In recent party gathering, my titos and titas were serving tea, coffee, sikwati as well as ginamos, rice, etc.
This was occuring in the early morning, may I add.
To my dismay was seeing a Tito who was already plagued with HTN (over 200/150), eating and consuming salted ginamos with rice and black coffee.

I immediately gave my point to everyone in the room.
Kai contraindicated kaayo ilang actions.

Ginamos, which is laden with high amount of salt, which is responsible for the retention of water, which is contraindciated if a patient is having cardiovascualr problems because this leads to an increase in pre-load, which will lead to cardiomegaly of the heart if untreated or unchecked, and this will lead to HTN, or if the patient has already clinical hypertension, will exacerbate the problem.

Drinking pure black coffee when one is hypertensive is contraindicated or if one has cardiac problems, is also contrindicated because coffee has caffeine. THe effects of caffeine is Tachycardia. Again, contraindicated.

Be safe, be healthy, be thorough minded, folks.

All the best.

In regards to tetanus infection, this must have been a long term basis; for in order for tetanus to be fatal is if it was not treated earlier, or if the patient was too embarassed to proceed to proper hospital/ medical channels when the early symptoms arose.

The problem of decadence in reporting such symptoms is the possibility of sepsis. When this spreads beyond local control of the regional lymph glands, this will in turn lead to pan-systemic spread, Septic Shock.

It is, indeed, unfortunate. Considering this patient could have been saved earlier with proper treatments of say:

Probenicid + Third or Fourth Generation Cyclos.

1500'S..... The Old Days!!!

The next time you are washing your hands and complain because the water temperature isn't just how you like it, think about how things used to be.

Here are some interesting facts about the 1500's:

Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odour. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.

Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water.
The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the other children, last of all the babies. By then the water was so dirty you could actually lose someone in it. Hence the saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.."

Houses had thatched roofs-thick straw-piled high, with no wood underneath. It was the only place for animals to get warm, so all the cats and other small animals (mice, bugs) lived in the roof. When it rained it became slippery and sometimes the animals would slip and off the roof.
Hence the saying "It's raining cats and dogs."

There was nothing to stop things from falling into the house. This posed a real problem in the bedroom where bugs and other droppings could mess up your nice clean bed. Hence, a bed with big posts and a sheet hung over the top offered some protection. That's how canopy beds came into existence.

The floor was dirt. Only the wealthy had something other than dirt. Hence the saying "dirt poor." The wealthy had slate floors that would get slippery in the winter when wet, so they spread thresh (straw) on the floor to help keep their footing. As the winter wore on, they added more thresh until when you opened the door it would all start slipping outside. A piece of wood was placed in the entranceway. Hence the saying a "thresh hold."

(Getting quite an education, aren't you?)

In those old days, they cooked in the kitchen with a big kettle that always hung over the fire.. Every day they lit the fire and added things to the pot. They ate mostly vegetables and did not get much meat. They would eat the stew for dinner, leaving leftovers in the pot to get cold overnight and then start over the next day. Sometimes stew had food in it that had been there for quite a while. Hence the rhyme, "Peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold, peas porridge in the pot nine days old."

Sometimes they could obtain pork, which made them feel quite special. When visitors came over, they would hang up their bacon to show off. It was a sign of wealth that a man could "bring home the bacon." They would cut off a little to share with guests and would all sit around and "chew the fat."

Those with money had plates made of pewter. Food with high acid content caused some of the lead to leach onto the food, causing lead poisoning death. This happened most often with tomatoes, so for the next 400 years or so, tomatoes were considered poisonous.

Bread was divided according to status. Workers got the burnt bottom of the loaf, the family got the middle, and guests got the top, or "upper crust."

Lead cups were used to drink ale or whisky.
The combination would sometimes knock the imbibers out for a couple of days. Someone walking along the road would take them for dead and prepare them for burial. They were laid out on the kitchen table for a couple of days and the family would gather around and eat and drink and wait to see if they would wake up. Hence the custom of holding a "wake."

England is old and small and the local folks started running out of places to bury people. So they would dig up coffins and would take the bones to a "bone-house" and reuse the grave. When reopening these coffins, 1 out of 25 coffins were found to have scratch marks on the inside and they realized they had been burying people alive. So they would tie a string on the wrist of the corpse, lead it through the coffin and up through the ground and tie it to a bell. Someone would have to sit out in the graveyard all night (the "graveyard shift") to listen for the bell; thus, someone could be "saved by the bell" or was considered a "dead ringer."

And that's the truth! Who said that History was boring?!

Great post, Zec!

And yes, I do love history.

;D

January 19, 2010, 11:57:40 AM
Watch out, friends, as there is a high amount of salt in ginamos. Excessive salt intake can exacerbate hypertension as well as be contraindicated for CRF (chronic renal failure) patients, hypertensive patients, heart attack patients, edematous patients etc.

Don't eat so much of this.
If you do, always, always do it in moderation.

Ginamos and rice as a daily sustenance is not healthy for the body, actually. Excessive rice intake leads to glycogenolysis, and glycogen break up--which leads to --> sugar. For those who are diabetic...this is contraindicated and can only exacerbate their situation. Diabetes and Hypertension are end results to unchecked consumption of rice and ginamos.

In Bukidnon, Talitha Kuom is now Bangon Bukidnon.
The clergies and members of the Laity has been

Hopefully. Madugo. On my part, as a one stick

Addendum: Regarding To the verse in 1 John 4:4,

This verse can be broken down into the following:

1. We belong to God.
2. As such, we are able to overcome the world.
3. The one inside us is greater than the one in the world.

I don’t think I have to elaborate further that the one in us is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God and the one in the world is Satan. Let us enhance further the meaning on this. “greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” This part tells me the following:

1. There are 2 forces in existence â€" the one in me (God) and the one in the world (Satan).
2. They belong to opposite sides and at war at each other.
3. The one in me is greater than the one in this world.

“How can we tell then, what is from God and what is from Satan?”

10The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
John 10:10

The above verse clearly separates the will of God and the will of the devil. The “thief” refers to Satan. Satan came to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came for us to enjoy life and have abundance. Abundance refers to prosperity. In short, God wants us to be rich and the devil wants us to be poor.

So, when you see stealing, killings and destruction in this world, they are the works of Satan. It is Satan’s will for them to happen, not God. This tells us that Satan is controlling the world that we are living in.

“How does this happen?”

Here is a brief history lesson. When God made this earth, he gave Man the full control on it. When Adam committed high treason to God, the control was forfeited and fell into the hands of Satan. This was the beginning to stealing, killings and destruction in this world. However, after Jesus died at the Cross to pay for the price of all our sins, Satan’s authority over this world had been taken away from him by God. God has in turn handed back this authority to us.

Having this authority is useless unless we know how to exercise it. While Satan’s authority over this world has been removed, he is still in control through illegal means. This is equivalent to a country’s president who lost the election but still hold on to power through military control.

In our spiritual battle to regain our rights, it is necessary for us to acknowledge these facts:
1. Satan is in effective control over this world.
2. This control is illegal after Jesus’s death at the Cross.
3. It is our right to take back this control. We are the legal owners of this world.

How do we do that?

First, we need to identify Satan’s works in out life. Are you sick? Are you in lack, poor and in debt? Are you depressed and stressed? Are you facing the prospect of losing everything that you have? These are symptoms of stealing, killings and destruction. They are the works of Satan and his gang. They have no right to do that and therefore illegal. It is illegal for the devil to steal our prosperity, health and success.

Second, we have to decide to resist their illegal oppression in our lives. We need to believe that it is God’s will for us to prosper and be in health as our soul prospers. As we believe, we have to determine to fight to regain the rights our Jesus has paid at the Cross. No matter how impossible the situation appears to be or how many times we have been knocked down, we can always rise up and fight again because the one who is in us is greater than the one in this world (1 John 4:4). So, as long as we have decided to fight this battle and determined no to give up no matter what the enemies throw at us, we are destined to win. We are destined to get back all our rights the Jesus bought for us through his death at the Cross and demand compensation from our oppressors on all the sufferings inflicted on us.

Third, we need to know that that the source of our strength and victory is God. Our reliance on God is the key to our victory. If you choose to rely on your own ability, you are bound to lose. This tells us that we need to spend quality time with God, listen to faith message, meditate on his word, confess his word and anything instructed by God if we are really serious in winning this battle.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
-Joshua 1:8

January 13, 2010 - LIFE IS A STRUGGLE

Worship: The barrier of pride

It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own.  Our qualification comes from God. 2 Corinthians 3:5

Life is a struggle, but what most people don't realize is that our struggle, like Jacob's, is really with God! We want to be God, and there's no way we're going to win that struggle, but we try anyway.

A.W. Tozer said, "The reason why many are still troubled, still seeking,  still making little forward progress is because they haven't yet come to  the end of themselves. We're still trying to give orders, and interfering  with God's work within us."

We aren't God, and we never will be. We're humans, and the times when we try to be God are the times we end up most like Satan, who tried to be equal with God, too.

We accept our humanity intellectually, but not emotionally. We give mental assent to the idea, but when faced with our own limitations, we react with irritation, anger, and resentment. We want to be taller (or shorter),  smarter, stronger, more talented, beautiful, and wealthy.

We want to have it all and do it all, and become upset when it doesn't happen. Then, when we notice God gave others characteristics we don't have, we respond with envy, jealousy, and self-pity.

What it means to surrender.  Surrendering to God is not passive resignation, fatalism, or an excuse for laziness. It is not accepting the status quo. It may mean the exact opposite: sacrificing your life in resistance to evil and injustice, or suffering in order to change what needs to be changed. God often calls surrendered people to do battle on his behalf. It not for cowards or doormats.

Surrendering is not putting your brain in neutral and giving up rational thinking. God would not waste the mind he gave you! God does not want robots to serve him. Surrendering is not repressing your personality. God wants to use your unique personality. Rather than being diminished, surrendering enhances your uniqueness.

C. S. Lewis observed, "The more we let God take us over, the more truly ourselves we become - because he made us.  He invented all the different people that you and I were intended to be. It is when I turn to Christ, when I give up myself to His personality, that I first begin to have a real personality of my own."

Friend,

This may be so. Life is a struggle. But we should not lament or be in timidity nor should we prostrate ourselves to the challenges in life.

We are of God!
We are children of God!

Do you denounce satan and his lies and his pestilent troubles that are meant to question faith?
Do you declare war against satan and his agents whose main goal is to antagonize the faith of the faithful?
Have courage!

For it is said and it is WRITTEN!

"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."
1 John 4:4

God lives within us. We are His temples. And HE is greater than satan who lives in the world.

So do not weep and do not despair! Have faith! In JESUS' Name, you can do anything.
For we can do any and all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens us!

FORWARD IN CHRIST!

January 14, 2010 - LONELINESS

"But the Lord stood at my side ...." 2 Timothy 4:17

The Christmas holidays tend to magnify the loneliness we feel when we're separated from the ones we love. Many of us have lost our roots, or never had any to begin with, and that can cause loneliness. We can experience the loneliness of separation because of military service, or a career, or an illness.

But the Bible tells us what we can do about our loneliness --

Focus on the needs of others - Get your eyes off yourself and focus outward. Look at how you can serve other people. The Apostle Paul focused on telling more people about Jesus: "But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it" (2 Timothy 4:17).

Focus on your purpose - Even when the Apostle Paul was isolated in a prison, he never stopped living out his purpose. He wanted everybody to know about God's love.

When you're lonely - Stop building walls and start building bridges!  Instead of saying, "I'm so lonely," say, "Father, help me be a friend to people who need a friend. Help me to help lonely people." That is the antidote for loneliness.

You can help others become rich in relationships by giving them the gift  of YOU.

Friend,

This is a really good message to share with all our brothers and sisters in Christ who are lonely or who are looking to give more of themselves to others for the benefit and the Glory of God.

For it is said that we are the temples of the Holy Spirit, purchased at a price. That what we may do we may Glorify the Lord our God as we shine our light unto the world.

(References: Matthew 5:15, 1 Corinthians 3:16)

:)

GOD BLESS!

On a serious note tho..normal ra man ni to masturbate frequently. Healthy kaayo ni. It helps in increasing your sexual longevity..and increases your orgasms and delays your orgasm allowing you to hit your partner's orgasm potential before you reach your climax.

:)

Cheers!

And remember...be safe. Be cool't.

The event was hosted by the Reyes Family.
Every year the Valencianon Association of the East Coast holds the Celebration to the Blessed Santo Nino on the 15th or 16th of January. This year it was held by the Reyes Family in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.

Next year, on Jan. 2011, the event will be held in Williamstown, New Jersey. Hosted by Engr. Rico Lucino and Mrs. Liza Salvo Lucino.

Bro, this can refer to both actual sexual intercourse or masturbation.

Frequent ejaculation is healthy man because it increases sperm production, which leads to higher fertility for men.
As well as frequent masturbation can increase a man's longevity in bed, which is beneficial for both self and the partner. hehehe!

Masturbation is a good exercise...mo advice galing ko at least 1-3 times a day...more if one likes it.
Sexual intercourse is actually good for the body (in terms of immune health and cardiovascular exercise) So long as one practices safe sex. Okay ra na.

I am surprised to see that no one has been able to bring up this health topic in Tubag Bohol.

Many woman who end up getting pregnant are often to shy to ask and compare with others what she is expereincing or what should she expect as what are symptoms in knowing she is pregnant?

How should she treat herself?

Here in Philippines especially with many teenagers getting pregnant and not able to afford Dr. advice or to ashamed to ask peers, parents, friends ETC... maybe she could lean on people in here for good guidances both physically and psychologically for a young sister who may be in a pickle or be craving a pickle!

I am sure this topic will get a lot of hits in helping out pregnant women and moms to be.

Have fun everyone!

To my heart of hearts,

I must justify my love for you in The Bible.
And lo the Lord My God answered my quest with a passage from Songs Chapter 7 verses 1 to 9.

Heed:

1 How beautiful your sandaled feet,
       O prince's daughter!
Your graceful legs are like jewels,
the work of a craftsman's hands.

2 Your navel is a rounded goblet
       that never lacks blended wine.
Your waist is a mound of wheat
       encircled by lilies.

3 Your breasts are like two fawns,
       twins of a gazelle.

4 Your neck is like an ivory tower.
Your eyes are the pools of Heshbon
by the gate of Bath Rabbim.
Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon
       looking toward Damascus.

5 Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel.
       Your hair is like royal tapestry;
the king is held captive by its tresses.

6 How beautiful you are and how pleasing,
       O love, with your delights!

7 Your stature is like that of the palm,
and your breasts like clusters of fruit.

8 I said, "I will climb the palm tree;
I will take hold of its fruit."
May your breasts be like the clusters of the vine,
the fragrance of your breath like apples,

9 and your mouth like the best wine.

It is in the eloquence of a woman's silence as she sits in front of her lover,
her eyes affixed and gazing to her lover.

There is a winsome sensibility in these simple pleasures that arouse passion and longing.

How can a man in quaint adoration describe these feelings and relate it to a work or book?
But there is, it is described in the Bible's Book of Songs.

Songs 4: 1-7

Behold, thou art fair, my love;

behold, thou art fair;
thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks:
thy hair is as a flock of goats,
that appear from mount Gil'e-ad.
Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn,

which came up from the washing;
whereof every one bear twins,
and none is barren among them.
Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet,

and thy speech is comely:
thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks.
Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armory,

whereon there hang a thousand bucklers,
all shields of mighty men.
Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins,

which feed among the lilies.
Until the day break,

and the shadows flee away,
I will get me to the mountain of myrrh,
and to the hill of frankincense.
Thou art all fair, my love;
there is no spot in thee.

To the sweet embrace of a woman who holds my heart,
she who says to me face to face, "I love you so much."
And in prayerful adoration, I cannot usher a word, but glorify the Lord in His Faithfullness.

Blessed is a woman who is precious to a man's heart.
Blessed is a woman who dovotes herself to Marian adoration,
Blessed is a woman who devotes time to study and the rosary,
Blessed is a woman whose confidence and consolation is her Lover who passionately and faithfully waits for her.
Blessed is a woman whose oaths are to God and to God alone.
Blessed is a woman whose brutal honesty and loyalty preserves her.

My love, to whom Christ Jesus sent her my way.
She is my sunshine. By Grace of God alone.
Who is so faithful and listens to the prayers of those who love and fear Him.

The Lord is Kind.

Brothers,

Be sensible in your actions and your remuneration in regards to family and friends. We have to be mindful of our duties in family life, and not forget where we come from, the children we have, the husbands and wives we have sworn allegiance and oaths to before the Eyes of God, do not blaspheme.

Heed:

"Barter not a friend for money, nor a dear brother for the gold of Ophir,
Dismiss not a sensible wife; a gracious wife is more precious than corals.
Mistreat not a servant who faithfully serves,
nor a laborer who devotes himself to his task.
Let a wise servant be dear to you as your own self.
If you have sons, chastise them;
bend their necks from childhood.

If you have daughters, keep them chaste,
and be not indulgent to them
Giving yoru daughter in marriage ends a great task;
but give her to a worthy man.

If you have a wife, let her not seem odious to you;
but where there is ill-feelin, trust her not.

With your whole heart, honor your father;
your mother's birthpangs forget not.
Remember, of these parents youw ere born;
what can you give them for all they gave  you?

With all your soul, fear The LORD YOUR GOD,
revere his priests.
With all your strength, love YOUR CREATOR,
forsake not his ministers.
Honor God and respect his priest.
Give him his portion as you have been commanded.

To the poor man also extend your hand,
that your blessins will be complete;
Be generous to all the living, and withhold not your kindness from the dead.

Avoid not those who weep,
but mourn with those who mourn;
Neglect not to visit the sick---for these things you will be loved.

Brothers and Sisters, have you ever thought about the actions you have acted on, and pressed on others? Have your actions been hurtful? Have they been good? Were they justified? Was it out of malice ? The Lord our God tells us that our actions are implemented and manifested because of our inner heart and the condition that is within the heart.

We are told by the Lord our God to conduct ourselves appropriately and with consideration of others as well as yourself. We are told this in Sirach Chapter 7.

Heed:

'Do no evil, and evil will not overtake you. void wickedness and it will turn aside from you. Sow not in the furrows of injustice, lest you harvest it sevenfold. Do not plot to repeat a sin; not even for one will you go unpunished. Say not: "He will appreciate my many gifts; the Most High will accept my offerings."

Be not impatient in prayers, and neglect not the giving of alms. Laugh not at an embittered man; be mindful of him who exalts and humbles.

Plot no mischief against your brother, nor against your friend and companion. Delight not in telling lie after lie, for it never results in good.

----

Dear brothers and sisters, be mindful and loving in your actions. For the Lord loves the doers AND hearers of the WORD.

:)

Amen!

Poems and Poets / My Sunshine
January 12, 2010, 10:09:43 PM
The arrival of the sun that rises to midday and sets on the waters,
To hear the chirps of birds and see their feathers of colors,
to feel the soft gentle breeze of the western winds, as I sit by you, gently kiss thy arms, and thy beautiful face,
to gaze into thy bright light brown eyes,
to taste and feel thy soft lips and adore thee with my kisses,
to hold thee with my powerful arms, and have you in my grasp.
Complete.

A three word phrase from you sends tears down my eyes in joyous adoration,
"I Love You".

And, I love you, as well, my dear woman.
But you know that already. My eyes speak to thy eyes, my soul reaches for thy soul.

The Lord our God, who deserves all the Glory, all the Honor and all the Praises..is so Kind and Faithful to us both.
May the Lord's Gentle and Glorious Blessings always be upon our heads, our feet and our bodies.
May the Lord's Love..which transcends all time and place..be within us always.
And may our Love for one another be reflective of His Love for us.

Woman, my darling, you are my sunshine. :)

Can the air be so still beneath thy remorseful eyes?
Can the wind be as delicate as the soft caress of thy fingers touch to my face?
I pray and confess, not even close.

Does the bosom of a cherry and grape bed protrude as the heart of a woman?
Does the poignant reflection of still waters illustrate the gravity of man's arduous love and devotion?
Does it?
I pray and think not, not even close.

As much as my heart beats for thy only attention,
As much as thy words and whispers are meant only for me,
so too, must the beauty of love's directionality reflect that relationship, Love.

Inasmuch as we must consider the situation,
Inasmuch as we contemplate on the gravity of our feelings for each other,
It is inevetibly true.
Completion and Drive.

I am so very happy to see you again.
You make this man so very happy.

Yours,

Dear Brothers and Sisters, let us talk and discuss about the best kind of topic there is in the BIBLE.

LOVE.

What is Love?
The answer is clear.

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

--1 Corinthians 13:4-7

This is TRUE Love. The Love of Christ. Let your love for your spouse, partner, children, friends be like that of Christ's Love for You!

Blessings and Peace be with you All, my beloved.
