Mid life crisis I thought had to do with hormonal changes as the body moves towards closer to older ageism...LOL!

Lets see here I am 4....3 years young do not smoke, drink about 15 times a year a toot or two no not a prude.

I have no children from my own womb still have monthly womanly things going on that are always so lovely to deal with...(NOT!)

I think European and American (whites) are having mid life crisis at a later stage that Filipina women.

I do use reading glasses to read pre-paid calling cards.

The eye doctor knew what to give me by my age not by testing my eyes.

I think once in a while I have memory lapses.

Sometimes I forget that I put the ink pen behind my ears versus in my purse.

Some times whine more then other times.

easily get bored.

Tubag Bohol addiction sets in during pre mid-life crisis.

ETC.

LOL! LOL! LOL!

Glad people are not mad at me for once. he he he!

Mike is in Anda and is without internet and I am babysitting Tubag as he wants me to keep him informed if the website goes down.

Ha ha ha ha yea this topic is getting down and up down and up ha ha ha!

I myself would not want to be lambasted as an elderly person. people in here do have a freedom of speech and opinion just so long as it is not hurting someone.

We do have a really cool way of dealing with persons who we do have indifference's with and I always find it better to go off the topic and into they're personal message box if they do not have it blocked for some strange reasons.

I have also found that many people who I have had bad encounters with turns out being positive once we are talking issues out and can understand one anther's view points.

Mike and I have had many discussions time after time and his opinion on posting and replying to topics is "It is the internet anything can be said on here but it is not good to cause defamation slander  or go against someone for age or color in the internet or."

But I think it is nice to see some true color in feelings coming out in some peoples character it makes posting more interesting.

I think we actually learn from people in  here regarding certain topics. I say abolish this type of contest to avoid these kind of cat fights....LOL!

I am a stinker at times yah yah yah but time to start pulling some heads out from their butts and out from under the rocks lol...

Well the church needs to implement family planning and be more up to date and practical about how we are living in danger now due to over populating and NO RESOURCES. Like Duh!

Keep pushing out those babies and eventually we will lose the whole planet!

Think with you big heads not how good it feels with your little head!

I hope I did rattle some nerves in here.

Family Planning is a must we have nothing to give anymore.
#207
I have to agree with Benneylyn,

I am also proud of her honesty, and maybe she had no cooperation from organizers about the situation. So she after her hurt and fights to go abroad were not heard when the problem had arisen so why not bring it to the public this is what we call bringing it to attention and keeping the eyes out for it not to happen again.

This woman is an example for others here who want to say but never say and also those who hide behind what they have to say.

If what you have to say will maybe make a difference and makes things better then go for it.

I do not find here whining I find her direct to the point. I think we use to have the quote posted around town be honest when others are not.

As far as the press conference for media i was not aware of it and I am usually invited to sit on the committee to hear the pageant committee discuss the rules.

I was a press judge for Miss TBTK and I do recall the winner of this year was two hours coming in late from previous engagements. The questions by the media were very rushed indeed.

My good friend who is a Norwegian was a judge this year for Miss Bohol International.

He did not have any complaints.

I heard the judges for darling of the press during Miss Tagbilaran were chosen by non press persons they were just chosen by the judges themselves. With the exception of Atty. Salva Diputado.

Now we know Salva is with a the same radio station as the Mayor reports are on. We know already the reputation Mayor has with other media here so I am sure with Mario Uy as Chairman of this pageant and Mayor's good friend it was very convenient to ask Salva to represent the media/press since he is having a show just after Mayor's brgy. patrol on DYTR.

So much fabot fabor here.

This year i did not go to Sandugo at the grandstand or the street dancing you know every year who will win same time over and over again.

reminds me of Alturas Drum and Bugle when CVS Caft is always the winner even if they are not always the best on the field.

I use to be a drum corp international I should know what is a good corp on the field.

Maybe the requirements should read that the candidates be holding a visa before entering the contest....(LOL!).

#208
I have a media invitation ID to pick up still at PIA Office I think I will use it for a souvenir piece as a part of my scrapbook before i go back to America.

I already have my picture together with her (Madam President.)

I am not going to complain.

I will just keep things positive.

I was the first one in media here to bring up Jetropha almost two years ago when i had met the foreigner in charge of the company project.

It was a column i had done in regards to foreigners doing business in Bohol. then about one year later the topic became more popular until now.

Just another day as a media.

The stupidity of this whole thing is because my friend is obese. So Dr. told him "Your fat I want you to double up from the normal dose."

I also have been told the same things by dr's here. i have found myself in bed the following day not being able to get my head off the pillow let alone knowing my own name.

The medicine required by the body is the same regardless of bodysize. according to his new Dr. today.

#211
Update,

Without mentioning the Dr's name who had prescribed and instructed the medicine to my friend the other day.

I had talked him into going to get a check up with the dr.and he agreed to do it this afternoon.

According to the written instructions from that particular Dr. he/she had written take 2 four times a day!.... Oh MY God!

The Medicine Intern Dr. said that the Dr. had made an error and had been overdosing my friend by four pills.

She was ale to prescribe new medicines and explained tht the four pills over was the cause of his skin burning and bumping up of the veins.

The face, neck, arms legs and back of his head down his spine swollen puffed up and rashed out.

The overdose is what caused over 50% of his symptoms including major dehydration, watery diarrhea, weakness, and dizziness.

She was thankfull that he was smart enough to stop the first medicine on his own b4 the prescribed 5 days was up.

i am not surprised by this action of not replacing a ticket. I did not get my Hungarian sausage meal dinner replaced at 160 pesos when I found a long black hair sticking it from it.
The coffee shop did nothing about it here to help me have my order replaced.

This is a part of of that cause and affect and how to solves problems that i posted in an earlier topic.

Thanks Mackey,

I am smart but still learning day to day. I have  KBP license here the first foreigner here to pass the exam and get the license in Bohol.

I have great fun ideals for radio formatting and programs but do you think it is easy for me to have a rdio show here?

As if afraid of me as if I am a threat but really the programs would be for helping the community and bring togetherness in a positive way of life for everyone.

Just wish me luck in that department.

Mackey also Than You for everything.

Take care!

What we are forgetting to mention is the money these projects will be raising for the national dswd.

#220
Thanks Lorenzo.

What are your familiarities to such reactions and what are the symptoms to look at before it goes into a non totally re missive state in where it would be at the point of not being helped or saved?

The type of spider that bit him was a small black spider that jumps around.

Also what are symptoms to look for as far as a victim is concerned? does the spider die after attacking his prey?

#221
 :o

I have just learned and seen a Norwegian friend of mine visiting here his fiancee on his school break now and what i observed was not good.

He was in the car of his GF's dads car and was bitten by a poisonous biting spider and went into shock after being injected with the spiders venom.

When he went to the hospital here in Tagbilaran the Doctor administrated a wrong medicine in him and it has caused him to have swollen veins and be broken out in 95% of his body.

He has times in when he suddenly stops breathing or is short of breath.

Please people be careful of spiders, snakes, and frogs who have poisonous venom.

Doctor's please be careful when administering medicines.

I have just received an update from my friends girlfriend he said he is not eating and is tired and feeling weak, she is worried about him and his experience here makes him scared to go back the Dr. or hospital.

I hope i can get the attention of the media and bring this to the publics attention.

please people be careful.

I am really worried about my friend now.

Please give advice he was given the medicine "Celestamine".

he was also the foreign judge for this years Miss Bohol International.

I understand and absolutely agree with you but I have never underpaid my help when I do have one.

I use to pay her 4thsnd per month she would come in two days a week and i know Filipina who have helpers here snap their fingers on demand towards the helper all the while when paying her under 2500 per month as live in.

Now who is paying who cheap here, those of us who have lived on both sides of the fence know what is the cost of true hard work.

So we sympathize for those who do work hard and are willing to compensate for what we know it is worth.

It is your country that pays cheap, It is your country that needs to stop it so that it will not allow the people who do corporate here to take advantage of the people here.

How do you value your fellow Filipino man when there are plenty working abroad now?

Mutana nga uy   (wake up Call)

So many professionals running away resources are down we need good people with hard working attitudes with a good head on their shoulders to come back and get back to the grass roots now that they have been living in a country that helps its people even in bad times and bring it home to work in the Philippines.

Some times life's chances can be scary but we must bite the food sometimes instead of sniffing it first.   LOL!

Mackey I love your positive way in handling my replies.

I also do not want to make you mad.

How do you think I feel I can not become dual citizen I am not allowed to vote in two countries but you people are allowed in America.

America has given plenty as well as other countries to help the Philippines out do not just take the hand outs alone adopt some of our good ways as well so more people can think ahead.

I do not find Filipino dumb or stupid, I do find them here as not thinking more forward then they really should be I find them often just thinking of the present time at hand.

i would also like to see Filipino thinking of actions and what would be the after affect of it after the action was taken.

Be prepared for cause affect if good or bad. Do not take things personally, do not get busy body attitude and get into business that does not concern you.

If you are really true persons in Gods eyes then why is there daghan "Crab mentality" here?

People under god should be appraising others who do well so it is encouraging.

concentrate more on yourselves learn from error not that error can be insulting make any issue into a positive if it is a negative.

Many here hate my advice they say "Your an American we are Filipino this is Philippines!"  Oh my goodness what attitude?

Then I say "Stop complaining do something about it if you do not like what you see!" then I hear "I am afraid to make action or say anything because I could be killed or hurt!"

People here are intimidated and to me that does not say much for the churches here when they should be teaching loving positive Catholic/Christian values. But on the other side of the churches walls is not always a christian/Catholic attitude that God wants us to have.

Oh it is as if go to church and people see me there and think what a good girl am i but once I am out of church I may be devious up to no damn good but that's okay i can repent my bad ass ways later at church.

No no no no people in church and out of church love your neighbor always.

I want to see more real attitudes and less superficial behaviors here.

i want to see people going forwards not backwards. Not much progress can be made in reverse can it now.

Mackey were you afraid to use a cellphone when it came out and look how damaging they can be.

Unfortunately friend not all lumps can be taken out of the cake batter always in our rocky road and cocky ways sort of life at times.

it is late and my thinking is getting fuzzed.

It is okay to test the waters Mackey friend we are all in this world together.

Bag.o x 100 million times!!!  ;)

Mackey one more thing.....

I do not see those Filipino OFWs complainingabout those things you mentioned when abroad in other countries?

Why do you think they are working there to begin with? It is because of the big companies and private companies providing those many good paying jobs that are not happening here!

Seems like this is another scenario of its not up to our standards to do that but we will allow it and replenish in it if it is not in our own back yard.

Farmers will always have jobs look at the machinery that has modernized farming in America. At present it is expensive here in the Philippines is not that not enough damage in its own people and mostley for those who are poor and trying to survive.

Sure Catholics are against abortion but to have one killed is cheap here.

To see a homeless needy sick child dressed to the bare rags is not against the Catholics Jeezes I get so confused here at times.

Gloria needs to end her term gracefully and things need to get done and I am talking a major house cleaning here.

You know it and I know it!

Mackey I hear you but the blood of your heroes is not putting food on the tables and providing jobs right now is it?

Philippines needs to get out and be with the rest of the world this country is no better or worse then those countries who have taken chances.

What capitol? I see many Philippines persons borrowing  anything from monies to expensive things all the while they are using a Guchi purse and wearing gold around they're necks and fingers.

I have had to two text messages from foreigner friends that they both in one days time were asked money to borrow by 4 persons.

Who said your rights will be taken away or is that just a Filipino negative thinking?

I say let the foreigners in and let them create jobs. Do you think that people living in America have rights to all the property and land?

No we do not and do you see us whining about no trespassing?

Tell me about no trespassing on the beaches I find it rather disgusting to be walking along the shores to find a crapped in diaper laying near to the surf.

Mackey it time for the Philippine people to take chances for becoming better you do not know what will happen unless you do not learn from your new trialed accidents.
#225
Well it certainly does not help the American economy when OFW's from all other countries are running their monies to families abroad and some of them are exempt from reporting and paying into the tax system to help maintain public services, even though they are using it daily does not make a lot of sense now does it.

I am more releived to know that recently America has said it is no longer in need of nurses as they have enough coming from around the world and America also has their own surplus of nurses to work these days.

So less people will be getting visa's to the land of the free and the land of liberty.

I think it is better as Philippines needs it's nurses here do to an over booming population that never stops growing and its shortage of resources in just about everything.

Philippines needs its people to love its country stay here and freshen things up instead of always running from the problems here.

I am in Philippines do you see me sending this countries money out of here?

Yes!!!

I am for Charter Change!

I would love to buy land  with out having to marry to own property.

I would like for permanent residents (Foreigners) to be allowed to carrry a gun for protection here.

Many things need to change and a welfare system in where single parents are helped financially.
#227
No vote buying?.... I am sure they will find a way to pay like they always do.
#228
Bohol has so many deaths that happen near to water or in the water...

Baclayon-German and his wife at the swimming pool in they're own house killed by the helper.

Alona- Korean drowns in Bohol Diver's Resort pool last year.

Balicasag Island-Japanese woman asphyxiated to death with lack of oxygen to her scuba gear tank.

Mansasa- British man stabbed times to his death at boloc-boloc spring.

Most of these or either closed cases or unsolved until now.

Beware of Bohol Cave Water!
(lol)

Bohol it is said to be a cave below full of bad people, it is why many people do not like to build septic tanks to far below ground because they are afraid of disturbing the caves and the beings that live in it below.

Not sure if I believe such a tale but anyways I am wondering why 90% of fatalities here are water related?

Mag Aso- Two Filipino men lives were taken by a rushing watering unexpected surge.

Imagine all this in one-two years time.
#229
Dear Friends,

Please notice i did not say Members. To me you mean more than that. I know at times some of you may see me as a hard nosed person with a very BAD ATTITUDE. No! that is not the real me that I always want to be.

I will explain why I get the way I do at times, my domestic life (family life) here has been from very difficult to very embarrassing and lets add with three attempts of threats of death on my life by my oldest stepson against me because he can not accept me as a foreigner in his families life no matter how good I have been for him his girlfriend and they're baby living with me.

I will explain in an open and honest letter my trials and tribulations of being a Female foreigner in a third world country living in a all Filipino Family.

Most often you see foreigner men here in Bohol but it is rare to find a lady like me in the roles that I play at home and in the community.

I will further explain in a later letter how difficult I find it adjusting to certain cultural ideals here.

When I make the letter I hope those reading it can really understand what is going on here. I also hope that you read it with broadminded and as an educated person and most important do not take it personally or make it go beyond Tubag Bohol because this forum is our forum because we are unique and care.

I plan to make the letter by this weekend or the middle of next week just stay tuned.

Until then happy reading my friends.

Just think of this as a trailor to an interesting movie to be....

#230
Ha ha ha ha ha ha! jeez Louis Hofa when I had read the title I thought maybe some long time well known mom and pop business was going out of business or some long time married couple was having the D word happening to them.

The story is sweet and very patient they have been. Yeah' she looks young same as me at our same age.

#231
Didn't one Filipino mention under another topic that "Philippine persons make good imitators."

Yucks! when it's one of your own doing it to you its considered a swindler if a Filipino to a foreigner it is considered "Ohwell have your money now sucker and your never going to get it back!"

As i mentioned before why did these businesses pick up on these persons when they were new in town?

Many people do not want to pay for a new news paper regardless how good their news maybe? Many here would rather buy the one that is known and familiar all around the province and it's areas.
#232
Why do we have so many pawnshops but everyone else wanting business is running to Dauis because it is easier to obtain a business license there?

I wonder if the top elected officials are getting some cream off the top of the pawnshop profits?

I think of a book my mom use to have on her bedroom night stand it was titled "Good Dog!" "Bad Dog!" when i think of particular individuals.
#233
sounds okay but in my eyes when I go for a ligo sud sa dagat tanaw ko walang swimmers pero daghan standby sud sa dagat at the beach and watch me swim and are amazed and ask me how i do that?

Of course kataw lahat ko topos sinabi ako "Daghan Bouyancy ako" like a huge Japanese glass float. ha ha ha ha!

Water sports is a lingaw activity manga ug nindote thought pero you have liability to those with out water safety know how and skills but if they do that then sige there must be certain water skills to be tested on before they can pass. Show that you can tread water in one place for 15 minutes show that you can swim on your front and back for about tenlaps and then you can water ski why does this island not invest in Water Skiing? wee hee!!!

#234
I never thought of the toll thing since before time when I had gone there it was barrato. I agree with you on this one olintaha about it being the local LGU's problem.

I also had mentioned about the warning signs that should be posted as well in times that there could be danger.

To be vigilant always, for Pete sake if they can put signs up along the beach to tell people do not remove seashells then why can they not post warning signs?

#235
I went to school with a person same last name as them but here name was Sarah.

I think 20 is just way too young to get hitched and married maybe between This time and October maybe they will change their mind already.
#236
What are you saying in other words that Filipino are good in "Con Artist"? ..........

Ha ha ha ha my foreigner friend text me asking why is it that when Filipino ask to borrow money why is it that they do not leave gold jewelery and expensive watches as collateral? ha ha ha just this day he was asked by two Filipino if he could be borrowed money  from.
#237
Since this is Bohol Day I felt it was important to say that this is the day that marks four months since his outrageous murder.

I am happy encourage your vote for Senator Kiko the husband of the well known and loved Singer/Actress Sharon Kueneta for Philippines Vice President.

Since many minors are now at present being used and committing all types of crimes such as Martins death when a minor girl was the companion/accomplice of the suspected Gulle during the incident.

Kiko's amendment would be that all teenagers aged from 14 years and up will be arrested or rehabilitated in a detention center made to suite them just like back home in the states for any crimes they are found guilty of regardless of crime committed.

If he can amend this bill and if it is taken into effect and imposed i think much of the problems with crime will be getting solved and will  not be happening as much.

The kids will not be put together with adult aged criminals and they will not be what some persons label as child abuse handled.

So many kids and teenager's are so hard headed mostly do to the real fact that parents are not spending enough quality time with their own kids.

Here you see many parents dropping off small eight year old or even younger at the internet cafe to play games of violence online. No wonder why these kids are easily influenced by these games and their friends who also do not know any better.

Rehabilitation has got to start somewhere.

#238
California is turning into "Little Philippines" but thank goodness they have enough nurses now so no need to importso many internationals as same as before or America will end up being just as corrupt as where all these OFW's are coming from,. And why did they migrate to America to begin with other then married to service men or being there by demand of profession. The number one is because they do not have a chance in the place where they originated from do to the population and corruption and lack of jobs all rolled into one

I sure hope i can recognize My home sweet home country when i get home. I have heard so many bad things over there are going on with all kinds of people even Born Americans.

Makes me mad to hear this as when working in medical missions here it is hard work and to see the people suffer more by peoples selfishness is even worse. ;<
#239
???This news came to me in a sketchy form during a TBTK medical Mission I had overheard one of the missions Dr's saying that a 10 year old from Guindulman killed himself near to the Tagbilaran catholic church sometime between yesterday morning and late night on Tuesday.

Does anybody have their own information on this happening? :'(

Please post here.

Thank You!

This incident is a lesson to parents who are expecting and who have children already if you are proud , educated, and working hard for your kids then take out an insurance plan in case your no longer able to take care of them.

totally a sad incident when so many young persons are fans of such fun and adventure.

Pilar - Bohol / Let's Take a Cold Dip in Pilar!
July 16, 2009, 11:43:02 PM
Feeling hot are you? Well pretty soon Pilar will open its doors to their two new swimming pools one for adults and the other one for children.

The pool will be supplied by cool water inside of springs in Pilar. The money made from the swimming pools will be again to support the National DSWD same as the adventure ride that mayor is having built over his man made lake.
#249
Pilar - Bohol / Pilar's "Little Danao"
July 16, 2009, 11:36:12 PM
Mayor of Pilar told me that new construction will begin over his man made lake. The construction consist of a high tower near to the lake bank and a high overhead cable that is a recreation ride for adventurers but this ride is different then the one being offered in Danao.

The ride will hold single seat rides shaped in a circle connected by a bar that is connected to a bar that is connected to the cable. The one riding the adventure cable ride over the man made lake will be wearing a life jacket so in case during the ride if he falls he is going to plunge into the lake below.

The ride will take you to a man made island known as Noah's Ark and it will be made into a shape of a ship because according to the towns mayor before it was known that boats use to come from Inabanga to Pilar and back again.

The round trip ride is already a packaged deal and includes a boat ride back to the main shore via boat.

The ride is 500 meters long. The ride monies will support the national DSWD.

Earlier today Senador Miguel Zubiri was exspected to innaugerate the 17 classroom two stary high school.

The school includes a home ec room, sceince lab, IT rooom with computers sponsored by AUSAID that totaled PhP138.000.00

The cash from AUSAID was the third installment that has totled almost a million or more in donations.

The school policy according to Pilar mayor is that there is an open door policy for enrolling and going back to school.

The last age allowed to enroll is 25 years old. The reason for doing this is because now they have the facilities to accommodate such persons.

According to the schools vice principal trhe reason why they have a large drop out of students in the past is due to early marraige or economic reasons.

The school will provide notebooks and some other school materials.  The classrooms from the older school will also be continued to use since the old existing school is located just behind the new school. Each classroom has anywhere from 50-60 deskd set up waiting for the students to inhibit it.

I would say we served about 800+ beneficiaries during the Pilar medical mission last July 14th.

The mayor was very hospitable to the group and provided free breakfast and free lunch that included goat dishes which I absolutely enjoy eating.

I learned some interesting news from mayor of Pilar and would like to share it with you under new topics later on in this section.

The media personalities of Bohol to judge the event were the following persons Danny Reyes from DYRD/Chronicle, Edward Guyano DYTR AM, Fiel Gabin Arrow Arrow from City of Tagbilaran information office and Priscilla Richards The Bohol Standard.

The winner will be announced during tomorrow nights coronation and ball which will be held at Metro center 2nd, floor.

The winner has already been tabulated and the suspense will have you keep looking at the topic.

In my eyes all the women were charming and confident to enter a pageant in were it is organization and brain in where one is judged.

Plse Note in order not to confuse anyone this is a competition for TBTK women married or not this is not the same pageant that is having to do with Miss Sandugo or Miss Bohol Internationa.

Innocent until proven guilty.

Interesting that such large companies would take up business with a newly established business with little or no credentials.

I have not seen this pposted in any of the local newspapers yet. How was this latest information obtained?

A 500 meter long T-Bar cable adventure ride will be the newest attraction to be dded to the man made lake in Pilar according to Mayor Wilson L Pajo, this project cost 4.2 million and the contractor is JPM Construction from Cebu.

The rider will be sitting on a round disc shaped seat with a pole attached to cable and the ride will start getting constructed with in the next couple of weeks once the tower on the man made lakes banks will have been constructed. Mayor Pajo said the rider will also be wearing a water life vest in case he is to fall off the ride  he will be going into the lake.

The passenger will end his destination on an island in the middle of the lake known as Noah's Ark. The ayor will make the islander bigger by dredging and adding materials from the outside such as other soils and sands to be able to shape the island into a ship.

The reason to make the island into the shape of a ship is to remind people who know about the river from Pilar use to flow down to Inabanga and boats were known to come in and out of the outlets and inlets for some time during the earlier days of Bohol.

The passenger of the cable T-Bar ride will be taken back round trip via boat back to the starting point.

Mayor had written a permission and notification to The Natural Irrigation Administration (NIA) that he plans to put such a ride over the man made lake and wanted to know if it would cause any harm in the environment before doing so?

The adventures ride is  DSWD projected nationally under the flagship program of GANA the KALAHI CIDDS KKAB (Kabit Bisig Laban Sa Kahirapan).

Pilar is considered 4th class economy wise, has 21 barangays, 143 puroks and is about 76 miles from the capitol city of Tagbilaran City.

The population of Pilar is around 27,000.00 Pilar's mayor has many new projects underway just stay tuned because Pilar is another agro-industrial, eco-cultural tourism, peaceful and progressive community with God-loving , law-abiding, self reliant and empowered people with with an improved quality of life under a financially stable LGU providing adequate quality and social services in a sustainable and ecologically-balanced environment.

Today's banner story inside of the Sunday Bohol Times were the published pictures from REDDITS Blog that he so kindly placed in this topic I posted as he was looking for any information as to what had happened with the two guys playing near to the falls.

It was just by chance that my topic posted here in Tubag was seen by Bobby Henderson and he was able to share these absolutely horrific photos of what had taken place that day.

I really like the ideal of everything that gets posted in here is used as a search engine for people needing any information about things going on here.

God Bless these families as they have already buried their loved ones.

It was this topic that also broke many records on Tubag with 4212 members on line Mike was so excited as the stats kept piling higher and had kept me posted at every record breaker that day.

 :'( :) ;D
The cars being used by the family during the motorcade were donated from a local car dealership.

tickets unclaimed were being given away for free at the door.

I felt that the performers all did well and his celebrity guest friends speeches were well represented of him.

The family was kind as they greeted everyone who spoke or performed during the funeral.

Points were made about the things Micheal had advocated for in America and for the things that mattered around the world.

The most favorite part of the funeral was when one guest speaker friend of his stood at the podium and chanted to Micheal's kids telling them "Your father was not weird, it was the things that he had to put up that were weird!"   :D

I while growing up enjoyed being entertained by a wonderful artist as he was. I was happy when I had danced to his music until the wee hours into the early morning, and I am proud that I lived during the time of two great performers during their era and mine.

And I hope to hell they go after the doctor's and the pharmacists who were able to poison him to his death in medicines he did not even need.

Micheal is the MAN and it does not matter if people were black or white in his eyes before!  ;D

Color does not make one better then the other.  :)

May he rest in peace may his kind family despite there hard times not be disturbed by those who are heartless.

No Hofelina your are really wrong, so wrong and do not second guess what I am doing.

I just want to write a balanced column from myself and explain how the community truly feels on the services here as we have so many unsolved robberies and other crimes that are more heinous here.

You would have to live her to get the point but since your on the outside you are not aware of Mayor's Charter day speech he had given when in fact so many city police are not receiving what they should by the local government and yes it does reflect off the work that some of them do. Then if he wants people to respect them he must also give them their full benefits. As in set an example, I have many friends who are police here starting from the brass in Manila. In fact i use to accompany the brass from Manila when they conducted provincial wide surveys and drills and inspections and these police go through a lot.

I say if your going to be a police man you do have to look at every feasible angle of the case and what things were done prior to the happening to get to the bottom do you not that? Now take for granted there are many cases not just Martins in  where all angles were not looked at leading up to the crime.

I am on to writing about other things not any more about the Martin case.

I am in media and writing about other topics and I think we have a rule about not using personal names in here when writing about hot topics.

Please modify friend and edit the name.

Please do not take it personally.

Thank you!

Now a days it just does not matter how flashy or non flashy you bare yourself to others your going to get it one way or another.

I was with a Filipina friend in the mall last week her imbana is an American and brings her many gold gifts and when she had worn them around her body for all to see believe me so she had many eyes following her from wit in the mall she finally had to call a police friend to escort her out of the mall.

What kind of world are we living in these days when you can noy enjoy the things you earn or the gifts you are given because of love.

I never buy real jewelery because i am not going to stick my neck out and advertise that I am up for robbing. Something like that.

People doing wrong need to knock it off.

I had swam at Mag Aso falls about nine years ago and I remember the stones along the river and the pathway going down was very slippery indeed.

I DO  REMEMBER THE WATER ITS FRESHNESS AND THE WAY IT COOLED ME DOWN.

This is just what we are known to call a inact of god and nature. It could not have been helped but it could have been prevented if the signs and the warning were there ahead of time to warn swimmers.

I wonder with such an all of the sudden rush of water if someone up above is trying to unblock a dam so he can get water to his rice fields?

And with-out knowing he has created this sudden rush of water down the falls?

It really has not been raining that much so far this season to produce such a big amount of water such as this to come cascading down like that.

Finishing this adoption and being able to see my family again.

This morning one-two alleged suspects are being asked for questioning regarding the fatal shooting of a part time fixxer and part time employee of the LTO worker who was shot to death in front of the LTO in Catugasan/Damaps area across the intersection of the Bohol Light Co.

The one alleged suspect in the fatal shooting is the Barangay captain father of Barangay captain Ingles.

I personally find this hard to take as I know the Ingles Family especially his son who is the captain in Dampas and his wife who is a kind woman who working in Mariquet Oppus's office.

I will keep you informed of any new happening's.
#269
I have a hunch why this is being assigned to barangay captain Ingles please go to post regarding LTO killing that i have made as a topic a few weeks ago.

I will posting some crazy information there.

Amazing to think that Bohol before was its own republic at one time ago.

Please you Filipino abroad do not ever forget your family roots and heritage. Sometimes you see Pilipino becoming Americanized and I have friends Filipina in the states who do not want to come back Philippines again.

I also had American Navy friends who were from Philippines and one would always get mad at me if i ever mentioned how kind his country is back home. his words were "DO NOT SAY THAT AGAIN IT's AN EMBARRASSING PLACE FOR ME!"

I was so shocked when he shouted it at me in an angered tone. Just remember how nice it is to be in a country that has services that are good to you due to a good tax system that works in servicing the people.

In Philippines it is not so fortunate as foreigners that we are given the same protection services and dignity that you are receiving abroad.

Here American even if married are not allowed dual citizenship or naturalization as you are granted abroad. Other countries are allowed to have dual. Americans are allowed to extend up to 18 months and then must exit for one hour or 24 hours and can re-enter here. Married Americans with Filipine citizens are able to avail of permanent residency.

Yes' Happy Birthday America!!!

I miss the timber carnival, cotton candy, bar b ques and what not we do have over in the states as it is not the same way in how independance day is cellebrated here on June 12th.

In this province you do not even know it is a holiday unless you go to a government office and it is closed.

#277
People want to go to the land of freedom and liberty but to read or make comment about such a wonderful event no one cares.

Just like 4th of July it should also be considered as Filipino's earning their independence that day from America also.

When Americans had given their independence on that same date as well.

No fire works or hoopla celebrations here about that matter here on the 4th.
#278
I am aware of this law being enforced in America but when it comes to viruses such as this that have no cure at first and are considered fatal I think with out a doubt that person must be publicly known as they are having such a serious enough infection to contaminate and possibly put others at a a risk of life.

Look at Aides victims mam did you complain about when they had to list and post their names for the public to know in his/her community where ever they are dwelling.

I think there is a limit as to what should be kept silent and if it is something that threatens the public it is okay to get it out in the open for all reasons to be number one that is to be cautioned that this person is very contagious to the point of life threatening.

If non threatening reasons for seeing the Dr. then of course it mut be kept in private patient Dr. confidentiality.

It is my opinion along with many others here.
#279
I have now the two names of the drowned victims they are; Alvison lupus, 23, and Nelman , Flores aged 25 years of age.

Provincail Administrator Thomas Abapo said he has informed Governor  Erico Aumentado who is still in the United States about the incident and definitley the matter will be discussed.
thoroughly with Antequera officials upon his return next week around the 13th of July.

Mayor Antequera Cecil le Rebosura is reportedly making a task force that will monitor the water movement of the tributary bodies of waters like rivers, leading to mag-aso falls to warn bathers in cases where flashfloods are to occur after having heavier rains then ussual.

The Bohol Chronicle and the Bohol Standard posted stories on this incident in both their weekly released newspapers here in Bohol.
#280
I need to make a correction. It is presently 10 persons are allowed to go into the crown at every hour and it seems like many have already made reservations way in advance to make it to the grown of freedom and liberty.
#281
I will try to research what i can about the news and hopefully have a better and fuller detailing of this horrible event.

This was what is known as an enact of God meaning it could not be helped by nature. I think would it not be better that the local government unit of these falls or any other falls post a warning serious and I mean a serious one at that especailly during times in Bohol when things are at their wettest and slippierest that these types of dangers are amiable of happening.

I know coming from the Pacific northWest if our tides are changing and our lakes are dangerous the prope authorities will post warning signs for people to think about.

Henderson's photos have really added emphasis to this topic he is from the same neck of the woods back home in the states we are use to landslide prone areas where we are from.

I am happy he posted these pictures as what things really look like during weather and nature changes from a calm to raging fatality.

My country tis a be sweet land of liberty.......

America celebrates another Birthday of it's Independence and in New York in the head of the Statue of Liberty the crown on our lady of freedom and liberty opens to rave reviews today.

The crown on the statue of liberty has been cloed down ever since 911 and at present in one hour only 30 people are allowed in her crown at a time.

Today marks history that was placed inside of her crown also as 7 military men were sworn into USA citizenship.

Happy Fourth of July Sweet Land of Liberty and Justice for all!!!

i SWAM HERE BEFORE MANY MOONS AGO.

What has happened is very sad i do not think I could ever go back there even on a regular day it is very slippery there.

I am sure before they were drifted down to Maribojoc River I am sure they were pulled in an undertow from all the flooding and the speed of and current of the flooding.

A big thank you goes to Bobby Henderson in providing back up photo coverage of what actually had taken place a few days ago.

Again condolensces to the family of these two young men.

July 9, 2009  Danao Bohol,

A grand opening ceremony is slated for July 9, 2009 for the launching of this poblacions Recreational Park.

Mayor Thomas Gonzaga has said in a conversation this evening that Philippines National Secretary of Tourism Ace Durano will be the guest of honor and the ribbon cutter who will be the one to give the Recreation Park its official opening.

Two new events are being added into the park since the Suizeslides entry. the two events include a cable car ride the same type that snow skier's ride to the top of snow capped mountain peaks in order to ski down to the bottom of the hill with.

Accept this one will give it's rider's a spectacular view of Danao's natural beauty. Another ride that has been added to the park is a a huge swing that will swing similar like that of a pendulum.

Mayor Thomas of Danao told me that the ride is called the "PLUNGE!" maybe for self explanatory reasons.

the AHAI Medical Mission team will be there giving a free medical clinic to some 500 Danao Poblacion recipients.

Mayor Thomas and the people of Danao are  pretty proud about the livelihood and the fun that that has been created in his place for all to come and enjoy!

Hope to see you there!!!

Two best buddies who recently graduated and one who worked at a local hospital as a technician had fallen into Mag Aso Waterfalls during heavy rains a couple days ago. Both buddies were believed to have drowned at the same time together.

Yesterday morning the bodies were found with bite marks from insects and animals as they drifted into the Maribojoc River.

Condolences to both families.

other problems include double text sending even though you sent it one time. This counts as two sends and more deductions.

Water issues is so controlled in Tagbilaran City it is only at night time in certain districts that they run water to resident area's.

Some days there is no water delivered. I feel bad for the people in Alona there water is awfull as it taste so much like salt.

Try eating rice in a restaurant r a colindaria it is so salty tasting but for what they put up with they are pretty good about not complaining.

How incredibly amazing and shocking!

I am sure that this was painful and uncomfortable for him as well. I think this is a lesson for all of us we must enjoy the physical beauty that we are given in order that we can be able to develop a much better inner beauty of ourselves.

I almost want to cry after looking at these pictures as well as reading about what he had.

Despite everything he was a super fantastic talented man and a crowd pleaser.

May he rest in peace.

I have video taped a tribute dance for him and my friends will post it tomorrow in u-Tube.

The song and dance is "Man in the Mirror!" even though non of us is perfect I am overweight but I can dance gracefully despite my condition and despite MJ's condition he can sing the song well for me as I shadow and reflect his song in memory via a very inspirational dance inspired by his young passing of age.

May or Best entertainer Rest in Peace! :) :) :)

NO matter what anyone says about any contest for beauty and brains I have judged this contest before.

It's very fun and the contestants work hard. Even the judges as everything is fast moving along and one year I had the neat chance to judge for the UB Mr. Mrs. Intelligent portion of the pageant.

I had asked some pretty controversial questions from the candidates and they answered them pretty good considering I am English speaking.

Hope that UB can keep up this tradition as a means to make some bibo in the school.

I have met many of UB's students enrolled for this Semester I wish them all the fun and best of luck!

No I do not forgive his actions she is a hot looking mama and his wife is still very beautiful lady indeed.

I do admire his brevity in announcing to the international world that he was enjoying in what i simply call MWIMB Missing While In Monkey Business! he he he he!!!

Now if this would have been a woman doing this to her husband I am sure more posters especially those of men would be on here brandishing her as a whore and whatever else.

I am a woman and I do hope to Pete's sake we do not think men can  look at this as an example and go out do this against their beautiful wives and children and come back and say I am sorry!?

That dance was around 2 years ago by the prison also channel 10 news had the same showing of it.

I had last seen on CNN when people had shown up to do a MOONWALK Contribution in England but just millions were grooving to the MJ tunes that i had grown up with!

Imagine three popular celebrities in my time passing away all less then 24 hours of one another. Ed McMahon side kick for Johny Carson from the "Tonight Show" and spokesman of the famouse Publishers Annual Clearing House Sweepstakes, Farrah Fawcett, the popular original tv series Charlies Angel who had became every mans favorite poster girl.
