A 500 meter long T-Bar cable adventure ride will be the newest attraction to be dded to the man made lake in Pilar according to Mayor Wilson L Pajo, this project cost 4.2 million and the contractor is JPM Construction from Cebu.
The rider will be sitting on a round disc shaped seat with a pole attached to cable and the ride will start getting constructed with in the next couple of weeks once the tower on the man made lakes banks will have been constructed. Mayor Pajo said the rider will also be wearing a water life vest in case he is to fall off the ride he will be going into the lake.
The passenger will end his destination on an island in the middle of the lake known as Noah's Ark. The ayor will make the islander bigger by dredging and adding materials from the outside such as other soils and sands to be able to shape the island into a ship.
The reason to make the island into the shape of a ship is to remind people who know about the river from Pilar use to flow down to Inabanga and boats were known to come in and out of the outlets and inlets for some time during the earlier days of Bohol.
The passenger of the cable T-Bar ride will be taken back round trip via boat back to the starting point.
Mayor had written a permission and notification to The Natural Irrigation Administration (NIA) that he plans to put such a ride over the man made lake and wanted to know if it would cause any harm in the environment before doing so?
The adventures ride is DSWD projected nationally under the flagship program of GANA the KALAHI CIDDS KKAB (Kabit Bisig Laban Sa Kahirapan).
