Yea that brown out was awfull imagine I have my kids, their swimming suits on and mine was on and we had our pool toys and was just heading out the door to catch a tricycle to take us to swim at the pool near to congressmans chatto's house.
My youngest was mad as we turned around and headed back inside the house to sit in our candle light and wait out the blackout and thank goodness it lasted only a few minutes and in no time we were dipping our bottoms in a cool pool! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
You always know when they will run the power engines in the Dampas district as it is so close to where I live you can hear the sound of dugdugdugdugdugx1million when your trying to sleep. He hehehehe!

I do not recall them saying a meeting was at 2pm I remember them saying in the Am hours on or around 9 or 10 am for the 6th, and I do not see Ae or Ric at the hearing that I attended? I also did not see many media persons at all showwing up until way later when the meeting was just to wrap up?
I do recall putting a date in my write up but the time I did not as they had said around 9am it would of gotten under way as close as the commissioners could get there on the first in coming boat from Cebu. The date was set for the 6th at the last hearing prior to the hearing held on Sept, 7th? Even I was surprised all together why it was that it was held on the 7th and not the sixth as planned?

You guys make me sick
are you all schizophrenic or what? The past three weeks is all I heard at how fricken outraged everyone was when these so called bank robbers had ruined the hearts of you people? Now supposing this guy was dead you could give a literal ratz a** about his guilty ways. He was punished not only for his stupidities but for his crime. If dead you would all be happy that another Garcia robber had been taken down.
I do not pity this sad pathetic creature and neither should any of you.
Do not stray from your original opinions and I can see how people get away with doing criminalistic crimes here because you all pity them once they con you into believing that they are sorry after. yeah mate's cut the ropes and loosen the slack and see what happens next?
I say eye for an eye.
Walay calaro!
So is it okay if I rob the bank and kill while doing so but tomorrow i tell you I am sorry?
Nay' no matter how torn up I am and how paralyzed I may end up getting better na lang to kill me in the middle of my bad actions so I do not repeat it again. or lock me up and throw away the key for ever. You see guys this man is part of a gang a professional gang of robbers and con men. You really think he is sorry? I am not gullable, I want to see the sincere proof in actions. not just his sorry a** words because now he is the way he is.

Wow kit just published that news? thats been some time back already when we had that forum and it was held at cityhall chamber.
They did spray the province and everywhere they could in the city as well but I think the kerosene only gave them a little buzz on and nothing more because three days later they came back bigger and meaner then ever.
If they spray and it rains the next day the fogging was pointless and wasted as we know rain water just washes everything away.
wild Nile virus is a horrible thing in the states comes summer time as mom usually spends around 200 per vaccine per horse to keep it from being wiped out by this mosquito also, it just does not affect just kids anymore it affects animals including larger lifestock breeds and adults and the well aged as well.
The fellas have gotten more choicer on what type of the body they like to take their midnight munchies on and the feet is not the Sweet treat as it use to be.
They love a taste of tender human rump roast lately as they must get the best as we are in crisis! Anyways its late and I need to get my snore on! :)

Thank goodness  I have some real friends at times in the media circle, some had asked me why I was not present during the visitation of my ambassador keeney?
Even my editor was not informed about it as he was in Cebu at the time of her visit.
Governor also noticed I was not present and I am present at most events that do go on for media.
I let people know that my feelings had been sensitive about the matter but they told it was a short notice as well for most of them, even governor told me that he would make sure that if she ever came back here he would let me know right  away as he appeared sad as to why I also was not there.
I am honest guys and when having a friend it is one of the most important factors to keeping a friendship going smoothly. I admit I say things that are straight out of mouth and I do not seem anything as close to inhibited as some are around here due to the culture thing here. Let me mind you its better to be heard then not heard as in life we learn dearly from those who can say it the way it is. For example if I have a kugmo hanging outside my nostrills would you tell me about it or would you not give a rip and let me go on greeting people with it waving at everyone making their stomachs turn green as they see it on me or would you be polite and descent to inform me hey you have a boog...... hanging outside your nose! Come on Bohol people be real be yourselves and get out of the shell and wake up and smell life as it should be as fun and enjoyable as heck should be!!!

Well all you Bohol lovers where is the encouragement you will give to other fellows Boholanos and boholas to join in this clean up evemt?
Is it only Leo who cares enought to invite anyone to help clean up?

Philippine Business News / Re: More Police in Bohol
September 16, 2007, 02:34:55 AM
last Monday i had received a cell phone call from Ed Inking Provincial superintendant of police here in Bohol.
He asked me if any media would like to attend the Camp crame annual inspection covering the entire province.
This included about three days of being on the road with the top regional inspectors for Visayans region 7 district.
The inspections covered all same aspects for every municipality we were divided into two team inspections groups. we visited and inspected over 27 municipalities and town police stations and each place we performed the inspections in we also gave courtesy calls to the city mayor's before inspecting the police men.
They are truly given a fine tooth combing that involves everything from clean finger nails, guns inspections, all things on them necessary to use such as handkerchiefs, note pads and pens, proper id and where it is to be placed haircuts and vneck tshirts to be worn by all.
We held scenario drills for certain crimes that are imaginable now a days and the inspector checked to see how the police are fast in regards to responding and how efficient they are in handling the crimes.
After inspections had been exercised and passed the inspecting team and i had been invited to each crabs, lechon baboy and share in some small spirit drinking such as brandy wine and beer.
They were drinking in uniform but only moderately to partake in the thankfullness of the municipalities for visiting and the inspection that had taken place.
I was the only member of the media who had gone along to watch first hand and be able to come up with my own report and evaluation of over the entire province involving PNP and and their inspections to do good and see what were their weakness's.
In next weeks Sunday edition for the paper I write in locally "The Bohol Standard" I will print a story and give the write up details from everything that went on during the inspections.
We finished the night at BBC in Panglao and had a dinner there and I went home to Tagbilaran while the rest of the inspecting team discussed during a briefing the weakness's and the strengths of the PNP in the province.
I was also able to meet Mr. Ligalig at the Panglao city police station that night as well.
When he smiles you can see handsome Mikes smile in him.
He told me "Like father like son" by the way he sounds when he spoke I could hear in his voice the loneliness of his son being far away.
He said he loves Mike and is close to him.
Mike my dear friend I hope your reading this nice post.
Take care everyone.

This was another greedy exclusive move of DYRD and the Chronicle as I was told by Batchoy Alba at ICM mall the other day.
They cash in on everything there is to cash in on.
Did you catch the screw up that got them a legal letter from the Atty of the Eskaya Resort?
Something on the bounds of they must do better news reporting!
Maybe instead of always pushing the smaller media establishments around and cashing in on everything under the sun they should slow down grab a gear and check the facts first before printing it.
I am just a Green horn in journalism. Snicker snicker!!!

I think from my observation some people here base their ideals on some sort of make believe or fantasy.
Or maybe some persons who twirl their tongues in here have not twirled the years I have spun!
Yes I have been to other countries and went there via my families yacht and we were good to people as they were to us.
In sailing to different continents you get a chance to meet all kinds of people representing many countries. We network and learn from them but no one ever asked money from us how they do here and then not pay you back? Instead they would work off a trade if needed be for favors if they did ask.
Yes "Proud" I have partied with the poorest and partied with the richest so I do know what I am talking about.
I pay enough money to be here with my permanent resident visa, You can buy land in my country but i can not buy land here and put it in my name.
You can be born here and move to America become a citizen and petition your cousins to go and migrate their also.
Can I do that here in the Philippines? It is not allowed.
So Miss proud how do I think when I can not even take my long time step daughter to the states unless I adopt her? I am a born citizen and from there?
I take care of my Philippine kids fine here in fact, I am responsible for four of them and as a foreign parent I do pretty good to be able to figure it out here.
I would have to pat myself on the back as most Philippine women do not even accept the kids of their loves or husbands from previous relationships. (Mentality thing)
You people have to speak out and take action towards the correct things in order to spend the energy on the things to be improved not to say things such as it was a sound decision to go out of the Philippines?
Well how could Bohol survive if you was to say it was "Sound!" that all foreign persons living here leave and go back where they came from so you would rather see your island fail from tourist going here because some of the things going on here are not so good at the present time?
In my opinion telling persons that going back to place of origin from your Island does not sound like to me you love your place very much?
Do not take it personally instead do something about it to make persons want to keep coming back and also if it is a good place you can get plenty of free advertising as tourist will always go back home and talk instead about how nice it is here then that gets the chain going further and further along to keep generating funds in Bohol.
As people will want to come here more often.
:)

#1611
:) Thanks for the praises and emotional support. I really appreciate it. It is so hard to even find where to pay my dues as a BTMA member now that the persons who was accepting it is now a board member in the province. When i go to chronicle to inquire I am met at the gate by the guard to be blocked from seeing the president of the organization as well.
He also refused to sign my membership card the first year i joined and I was given a card out dated by two years and signed by Loy Palapos as a our president.
One day i showwed our president this and he just had a dead look on his face as dumb- founded.
Y'Claro!!!!

Recently AusieAide spent money putting in a new fresh pottable water treatment system to provide the people with a much better livelihood. This was done by David Tirol's sister thru also the help with UB.
They now make money from their tourist shop and are able to make crafts and sell them to tourist at the tourist shops and they seem to be busy.
about two months back I accompanied the Australian Ambassadore when he came to Bohol and to Sevilla to cut the ribbon.
The problem with this small interior town is that they have a problem with rebels wanting to attack in that area.
Recently there are plenty of meetings, and patrols going on to make sure that the things are staying safe over there.
At this time of my post there is currently a live threat to that area according to PNP intelligence.

Franklin thank you for being a true believer in me and yes you are correct. yes I am a great person and easy to get along with.
I say the things they want to say but do to their culture it is a bad Karma to speak out your mind heavens forbid lets not get prissy or over dramatized about this.
"Oh why would precious have such an outburst?" I think we said things like that when we are in JR. high was it not Frank? There is such thing as the first amendment but some persons never studied in school, and it's obvious.
#1614
I have a reply to this I found it very underminding as an American and in the local media to be expected to help in other area's but was not informed of my own ambassador coming to Bohol.
Oh and by the way the letter about the Peace, and human rights was written by my own district representative Congressman Brian Baired as he is also the first signer as well. I am really beginning to feel that many persons are with holding information as crab mentality reeks around here to no end.
I would of really of liked to meet my ambassador maybe I could of enlightened her on more subjects.
Some media outlets are very unfair and greedy they always text that they are needing news from everyone but when something as neat as my ambassador comes along I was not informed and neither was my editor.
Even the last Alarma meeting was not sending invitations of venue.
Knock of the crud media persons and work in unity and get along.
I am not impressed as my country is way at the top.
Maybe this project will get into corrupted hands in the future as it usually ends up doing here.
I have stated my mind and those of you who were around here and did not notice my presence around her during the event would have been nice for you guys to give me a text to let me know that she was there. I could of met her and invited her back here. I have never been mean to any of you?
How odd the local American media Priscilla is not around at this event or did the thought not occur in your little brown heads?
I fummed about this for many hours when i had heard about it a day later.
No i do not want to be friendly about anything anymore.
It gets one no where around here.

#1615
Franklin, maybe the things we are saying are sinking in to these persons. I can see why mike put up this web site so he could get others to really talk about how it is  here and not always treat it like some fantasy place that it's really not.
The corruption has made some of the people inhibited to speak out as they are ashamed of what others may think of them? I like persons who are doer's persons who can get goals done. I do not dig persons who can not take action on their words.
This country can not be improved on persons who behave meager minded.
I have noticed that some politicians are very selfish and greedy and only want the notoriety and being guest of honnor at functions from a family name only.
I have noticed that when I go to the offices of most city administrators or provincail persons they are no where to be found only their office assistants.
When you ask them something they say "I DO NOT KNOW?"
I have lately found out that many people are not honest here. Persons I could trust before are even beginning to disappoint me here in Bohol.
I stay home allot now as it is just no security to go out doors.
I also stay at home because lately I get angry here and do not want to have outburst to certain situans here. I am a popular person from being a friendly and fun person in the media here and so many know me here because of it but. I just want to be cool at times.
Take care everyone!

Franklin? hey buddy is it my imagination or have some persons stopped blogging on this web site? Could it be that there is possibly a couple of persons in here telling them whats correct and they do not want to be informed on how to look at it and how to deal with it?
We are from the mother country of America we know how it is to be brought up in a good way that makes America what it is.
These people love to borrow our monies but when it comes to giving advice to help make this a better place it is as worthless as a penny as they do not want to exercise it.
This country has many bad loop holes. There are plenty biased persons and persons who have a crab mentality who do not want others in on good things.
Our American Ambassador was here in Bohol  yesterday and I was not even informed about it? I have given allot to this community and also active with media here but do to my very popular and friendly ways many here seem really jealous of me lately.
My problem is I am to honest and very perceptive to the games here.
I will have to think twice if anyone ask me of another favor.
When you have been here almost 7 years and you do not see allot of improvement and the crime is way out of control its almost a dead situation at this point to be a better country.
I admit today i am down. I came here positive minded and often its hard to keep that composure when not just here but all over things are out of hand.
We need to go back to rule one no one is better then the next person, and that if you want to climb to the top step up the mountain but not on top of peoples heads as we all have the right to better ourselves. Your only job in life is to be nice to each other, it's easy to do.

I am flattered. Thanks for the compliment. I am the same way in my column that I write for in a weekly newspaper here in Bohol.
I write the "Precious Thoughts " column in the "Bohol Standard". it is just now celebrating it's third year in publication this week. It is packed with the meat of the news and not the fat, because we are so new, not like our competitor who is a pioneer and is packed pretty much with advertisement filler. you know the MC Do burger with the bun in the middle but no extra beef? Our main news writer who is our editor received best news reporting in last years Bohol Tri Media Awards for 2006.
We cover the entire province when we discuss the news.
If ever you would like to submit a letter or commentary for the paper please let me know?
I have become very popular according to the many persons who recognize me the kind of out spoken writing ability that I share. I have received praises from many judges and politicians and business persons. I am a guest of honor at times as well as a judge for some pretty local prestigious pageants and competitions here. I have really enjoyed being with some of the best persons in media here and making an abundance of friends as well.
I am what you call "Friendly Media" I get along well with everyone despite my writting may be harsh and to the point at times or so funny it will tickle your bones and make you laugh.
Most pf the writers on this page are connected into media here in Bohol.
keep up the posting!
Take care you!

Franklin my friend as I speak I am sure you know me by now? I will speak to you how I normally speak to some one and that is with your eye's wide open.
Mayor knows the community is very upset with him.
He knows this as well as a majority of the PNP here do not like or care for him. He knows he has not been good with them as far as P.R. skills are concerned.
mayorneeds to start what they call "sip sip" and we call "Kissing Butt" or another term sucking up to the police to make some good boyscouting merits in order to help him better get things under control.
This all falls under the police here not being happy with him and now his reflection of his attitude is the result of what is going on here.
If the captain is cool then the ship sails smoothly.
Mayor needs points bad as people here are mad very mad at this point.
Yes the guards had a majority to help out with this Garcia gang.
The police just handled the booking of these criminals well and then the efforts in Panglao as well by keeping them detained at Dumaluan resort.
bad for mayor at times I often wonder if the fella is Bipolar disorder it is so common now a days with persons are our age.
here in Bohol there are no psychologist available and they need them here badly.
maybe if he was under treatment medication he would not be like what we say having this roller coaster of emotions all the time. talk about highs and lows? It's okay to be under treatment it means your taking care of yourself. take care you! :)
#1619
Its easy get the ladies (widow's) address that has been posted here several times on this web page. do what your parents do with the door to door no need for a contact when it will be taken to the widow of the guard automatically.
If you western union it to me in my real name I would take it to DYRD radio and let them get in touch with her so that way there are plenty witness's that she receives it honestly.
Thats if you do not trust me?
I am not a person raised to do a mean thing such as that anyways your only job in life is to be nice fair and honest towards people.
I have an email contact me in private if your willing to go ahead as for the check I can not cash it here and neither could she. She might not have a savings account set up. or I can give i to your mayor "TITO" and he can get a hold of her to give the money to her?
lets talk if you want?

Tears of Joy!
#1621
BLAH BLAH and more Blah?

1.) Why is it that this mayor shouts at his workers in cityhall and makes them feel in compentant?
(Back home thats on the job harassment and you get sued for it as well.)
2.) This mayor has a radio show and lamblasts his bad temper all over the radio for all ages to hear? just what kind of a leadership skill is he leading in a way of a good example for the youths of the future?
3.) Why does this man who has done allot of good things as well shout at persons and take away their livelyhood as well from under them?
then accuses all persons who live in illegal shambles as jobless thieves?
When in fact some have held driver jobs in local dated areas in parts of the city for over 3 years?
4.) Why is it that mayor Lim does not give an alternative to housing and relocation for these indignant human beings? I did a human interest story on an event two years ago for a newspaper i write for and Mayor was pissed off really bad at me. When you do good things and turn around and do something mean that is so big that it out weights what he has done nice in just the way that he goes about it.
I seen children with deformed legs and feet who could not walk or hold out their legs straight to stand on their own or even crawl being kicked out of what was their home.
I seen a widowed mother of eight children who were clean and looked very healthy, and well taken care of for what their mom had to offer, weeping away as the city officials sat like old hens on rotten eggs while construction workers tore down the place what these persons had settled into as their homes. As the people here have no jobs to take up as they are limited here.
5.) police SSup Inking wants us the media to be a part of the five elements to help in being able to assist and help in fighting and solving crime but Mayor wants to blackout the police records to the media? Y'Claro Jyud!
Mayor in Cebu when he tells the people in squatter houses that they will be evicted he has a different kind of compassion when it comes to these persons who would end up homeless he offers them money and temporary housing and does not put them out in the street with handicapped kids like your "Precious Tito"
I may be a foreigner but i have lived here since 2002 and i have seen allot of crap that should not be going on here?
Even the host of this web page once told me that his country should be improved same as the other countries that were thought as and rated as third world countries also. he said they they are no longer considered third world the government has cleaned it up for it's people.
previous third world countries make the Philippines look bad.
How can you get better if you have Pooh Pooh heads for leaders who take everything so personal?
Then they behave the way they do?
These boxxers do nothing for the community and why is it that if Mayor can give such fatherly advice for them then why is it that he can not do that same thing for the people here as he is the father of our city then if he can not then he is what we refer to as doubled standard!
Onicul85 please come back to the Philippines in Bohol and strut up and down CPG Avenue and gasp and gag and choke when you smell the reeks of "Hovack" coming from the drainage systems in this city and this was a project of "TITO"!

No unity and not at peace summit no i did not say it wrong just renamed it we the media were to have been active participants but how do you say we participated when we were stuck in a closet out of sight and mind known in a little room called the Flamingo.
About three persons came to brief us some what on some of the agenda and plans that were to be discussed.
The security of the President was out of control and treated local media person with a total disrespect and disregard to what was actually suppose to be our coverage since it was brought up by our Governor himself in regards to the Bohol province.
I observed so many media men shaking their heads in disbelief as what was suppose to be was definetely not happening by any standards.
I also noticed that Manila media was some how recording the summit from inside then sharing the recordings with the Manila press as well.
There was one bayut guy from Manila there who was coordinating the show for the national media and he was rough on hands kind of guy with me and other members from all the other media outfits.
I know presently that at this time they are holding conferences as Sevilla about being threatend by rebels that they will attack any time now.
Some of the provinces stronger police force were relocated there this week.
The police complain that there are plenty of rebels and only less then a hand full of them?
They are basically standing by in a cave like headquarters ready for jump off at any time with what they have to fight with. So insult these guys all you want but first go thru the conditions that they endure to keep the province safe before you bad mouth them.
So the next bad mouth about police in here I am going to fly off my white lady handle!
These guys have family and loved ones to consider and who are waiting for their safe return.

Franklin I was with kit when we were handed the spot reports in the police station at around 11pm. Kit had gone home early to start writing the news for Sundays edition of the Chronicle On Saturday I gave him spot police report number three which was the final report covering everything up to the latest arrest.
The last picture was given by a relative to the police as the driver had also refused for media and for the police to get the picture of him.
Kit had promised me to swap the reports for the driver but my buddy fell through on his side of the deal, or bargain or what ever you call it?
I still gave him the news believing that he was not able to get the van drivers shot as well.
Lessoned learned there.
Kit added some filler to the reported version but if you read Bohol Standard police blotter we printed the report of the police as is and as was.
Thank You franklin for taking perception as each reporter or journalist interpets things in their own ways.
Take care!

"ATTENTION ONICULE"
Do you have western union where you are at? Do you have some one you can trust to receive it in Bohol; at western union?
Do you know about door to door service by doing it through a Philippine store and they are the ones to door to door actually to her house.
You can send easily that amount. Find a Philippines store in the bigger cities get her name and address before you go to the Philippines market and feel out the form with all the proper information it will take 3-7 working days to have it delivered to the Visayans region.
This is effective and this is the way seamen will send money back home to their families. no need for the ladies to leave the house as it is brought straight to them.

According to one person who is close to him who spent their last living hours of his informed me as well that there is more to the story.
The person also mentioned that Jack did not greet the audience in his usual cheery self and way as he had in the past.
They also mentioned to me that one in particular relative to Jack knows about things but is to scared to be at the liberty to reveal what the matter is all about?
Makes me wonder if this relative wants others to be hurt or killed as well by not spilling the beans on what is the truth to get this person whom ever they are off the streets?
This subjects truly haunts me to no end until this case can be cracked once and for all. the people who know more things had better stop putting others at danger by not saying anything and come out with what leads they may have to solve this and put persons at rest in the community here.

#1627
Also do not forget to have your schools drum corp bands sign up for the Alturas Show Down organized by Sir Loy Palapos who is director of the Alturas of companies P.R. dept. :)

Yikes! Have you seen how our immigration office is here? its pretty scary I use to go there and have my visa taken care of before I was a permanent resident and the one in charge of the office here in Tagbilaran at the time was not so willing to help in giving out proper information to help married persons with their visa situations.
Custom and immigration is a great ideal here and necessary.
look at whats going on with all the other airports around the world that take in outside of the country flights.
Many bombings and such so with this new airport system I hope that they can get a bomb sniffing dog as well since they do have them at the piers in parts of the Philippines.
Hopefully they do not let in anything sleazy from North Korea
that can put Boholanos at risk?
#1629
Franklin your catching on! whooo hooo hooo hooo!!!

He reminds me of my mom back home in the states....D I C T A T O R as all heck can be!

You still here in Tagbilaran or did you already go back to the states like you said you was going to do?

Have you ever met him in person? Maybe you should venture over yonder s into his office and sit down and have a cup off espresso with him and tell him of all the things you dislike and what could improve this city?
Mayor does not participate in Miss greenfield s if you know what I mean? He is not a drinker.
I think if he tried a little toot of a drink he might be able to loosen up some what and come back down to level off of his damned high horse? ;)

#1630
Fiel is media allowed to attend to jot down the information for its readers?
#1631
Mike............?        Mike.........?         Mike......?

I hope this girl would not be setting herself up for danger for handling the funds? Now a days its a nice gesture but Philippine persons especially the cute ladies here are not big on size here and can get easily hurt.
I am big people fear this white lady all the time.
he he he he should you not appoint me her bodyguard?
#1632
I am so tired of the talking by all you Philippine persons if it is so bad then put your words to action. You know it is bad so do something about it? Stop whining!
You vote for a politician but your all scared as crap go tell him off as need be or to tell him to grab a gear and get it under control? I have no problem with it I have told him off a couple of times and I was nice about it when doing so.
IMPEACHMENT! ;D
What the heck is democracy if you can not put it into action  people?
You can talk the talk all you want and know things are bad but none of you do to your custom have the kahuna's to go face to face with the one you elected and voted for too protect and serve you.
You know if you try to it is a lost cause because with Dan Lim it is all about him and not what you say too him.
He is all about dictatorship and you guys are all into the drama scene of whats going on here.
Often you people come up to me and ask me to do your dirty work and when I do i stick my neck out as well but I do not mind because I believe in you all and I want that there be compassion for you all as well.
It is hard to put guppies in front of the sharks mouth and he doesn't bite it off.
He is not all bad he even gives me a hug or shakes my hand because i will let him know what is the truth whether it is good or bad he knows I have battled for all of you.
I am not intimidated to go inside his office.
Why do you get bought for cheap when you all vote and then the one who ends up winning is not doing his job up to par for your city to keep you and your community protected?
Sometimes you all confuse me? ::)
God gave you all brains so please put it to use and if he has enough concerned visiting him with the same generalize message maybe he will get the message? let him bark up his storm he is harmless. His bark is louder then is bite!
You both are entitled to believe what is right but if you speak as a majority is it not going to out rule him? (DEMOCRACY)
His office is just as much as yours go ahead make yourself at home stay firm and stand behind yourselves. if you can complain about things in here for many to see it then who said he is not watching this web site as well.
Go fight win and keep your poise. Is it not one of his favorite things to say? get with it people this is the 21st century not 1900's! ;)

About three weeks ago I was sitting with Kit Bagaipo and Boy Guing2 at Bo's coffee and three guards went running down the embankment with drawing their guns and when I seen the faces of the ones running away they appear to be the same persons that I took pictures of in the city PNP station last Friday for the paper I write for.
The two acted like no big deal it scared me to death almost released my strawberry shake in my pants as it had hapend so fast.
The guards did not fire their guns as there were too many innocent civilians in the way.
Boy Guing did joke about t maybe being Pedi Bolanos wallet that they were after! He he hehe!!!

I have past exsperience with being a foriegn founder of helping the local reservist camp build it headquarters here in dao district this city.
I am an American residing here in Tagbilaran I would be willing to let persons depost into my account as I can acess my account over the phone and via ATM machine here.
I am a very real and honest person but as fiel mentioned earlier there are persons out there that would cause problems just for some one to help out.
Well you know mentality here is often not so keen and I do understand what she is referring to as crab mentality from her fellow Philippine persons here.
Its even hard to do nice gestures anymore do to the bad thinking of other's.
Fiel or I would be trustworthy as we are very much into doing things that are healthy to the community, and we are sweet friends towards one another.
My bank is Bank of America. It would be hard unless some one could work something out with western union for the wife?
Why was the guard at UNTOP not treated in the same way when he was killed? Did he ot have a family also?

Awwwwwwwwwwww come on! Why is it not that the accounting and book keeping person did not itemize all these bills to begin with and catch it sooner?
What a careless over sight or was she in on cashing in on it as well?
Times are hard hospital bill workers padding bills and PNP talking about holding up banks just to survive now a days! Am I having a night mare in a city thats becoming like the ghetto in Harlem?
I am running out of people to trust here rather quickley these past few days.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIT BAGAIPO" one white lady kiss Mwoah coming your way :)

Nice reporting "SUN STAR"! My how it is amazing how Mayor Dan Neri Lim wants to black out police books to the media but Inking and the city police are asking for media as one of the five helpers in getting crime solved.
mayor gave credit to mainly policemen this weekend during his report.
Why is it that the media is able to give the credit where credit is due?

The theme songs for Bohol this past week are....."I feel the earth move under my shoes" and the "Jail House Rock" The city jail needs rocked and serious repair. it would be so easy to throw weaponry into the jail inmates from outsiders looking in? How easy to be used by them against the police or other persons. CRAZY!

Lets just say do not believe everything in media the mentioned company up above also said some un truths about a situation that was between me and candidate Joe Torralba when I went to the station to prove wrong what they were saying they did not want to correct themselves it was made to look like a bad frame up job for Joe Torralba's candidacy, until this day I am still peeved about their type of reporting.
In my paper it has to be facts and names spelled correctly.
yesterday morning while coming back from a late night school function the Sky's the limit was still open. they showed no signs of packing it up and leaving.

Well it is good enough for suspicion and for this person to be held for questioning "My how odd this person has Jacks cell phone especially after his death?" just how did this person obtain this phone?
Did Jack have them on him the night he was killed?
Did he let his co-worker hold on to them for a while?
I heard there is more to the story then what is being said about the whole thing?
I heard this from a very reliable source who has to be the closest person at his side all night during a show that was held in Dauis Panglao. According to this person jack was not being his usual bubbly self? I think maybe also his family knows more as well and does not want to reveal what they know. I wonder from the sounds and looks of things could it be that jack was threatened? I also feel that the family might be scared to go to the police as they may be the next victim of circumstance if they did. I am truly sickened for what has happened to Jack and this community.
Last weekend we were suppose to launch off La Bailar at ICM mall the same judges will be returning minus our chairman judge Jack. Sad to say that last weekend it did not launch.
I think that the entire ballroom community is still in mourning and not presently in the mood to compete so close to the murdering of jack.
Please people for the sake of Jack lets keep the ball rolling and keep our god thoughts of Jack by continuing to do the things he loved to do.
He would want as many persons possible signing up and dancing in the competition as it is his most favorite activity and sport. Keep on dancing in the Heavens my friend.

Yes its truly sad when mayor has been trying to combat this system through fogging procedures and the mortality rates are still increasing while the fogging is still going on.
We had fogging recently performed in Dampas district this city, and was able to have the inside of my house fogged for free as well upon request. Shortly afterwards about  two days later the lamook were back and bigger then ever. I do not think the kerosene method is strongest enough for the more muscle y bounded sort of insects with an equivalent punch same as Boom Boom Bautista's,that we have here in Bohol and Philippines abroad.
I also have an eight year old daughter and she is a student at a near by school to the last victim of dengue.
There is such a product available in America and it is not so expensive it is called citronella and when it is used the lamook die off or stay away from with in the strongest scented area where it is able to be smelled. I have yet to find citronella here in the Philippines. It is mixed in with a candle wax with a wick through it and has an oil base and a smell safe for humans but deadly enough to keep away and kill as well these killer insects. :P
I hope someone reading this is connected to working in a job at a mall or a store who can look into getting this product citronella and  put on their store shelves available for the public to buy.
Hi Fiel love you me priss :)

What digraces me is the amount of notority that these thugs are receiving, I should of been charging take a peek through the hole on the wall jail cell down below at the city police station its so big you could throw weaponery down into the jailers and in turn they can use it on the police and since the whole community is so outraged by this anyone with a crazy mind if mad enough could easily shoot at the robbers down below through the wide gape from the public gaping and peeking inside the jails last frida as we the media waited for spot reports and gave robbers our questions thigs at the city PNP were pretty lax.
I would estimate about 1000 or so plus curious persons piled down in droves to get a loo some groups of people just thought they could go down the stairs and visit freely but they got caught. Even food and clothing are brought into this jail with out being inspected for contrabands? Y'' Claro!

Great!  ;)i love ol Jes Tirol I admit it i love the entire Tirol family here in Bohol. they are bright in what is becoming a dark alley all over the heart of tagbilaran and the Bohol province in whole.
I agree that as you are given a permit to do business locally and the services being used to help protect it are some what coming from the city side which in turn is served by the taxxes of the people here then by all means yes mayor should make it by all means to go ahead and collect the funds from the banks.
You go get it Mayor Lim I am all for it.
Good Luck my friend in getting it taken care of once and for all. >:(

Is that guy any relation to MIN2 Garrote from DYTR radio programs Hoodyaka sa Kabataan and Star Quest as well as the beauty adviser from the same radio station. That would be hard to believe if that guy is related to her as she is so very very nice.
This will be interesting to see the outcome of this? Have you noticed people that mayor Lim after Jacks death has been wanting to blacklist media members away from police issues but on the other hand the provincial police as well as the city police are asking for media to help and is it not that media is a part of the five elements of helping to solve crimes and other unlawfully deeds?

There have been several newly elected mayor's and vice mayor's here who have been dropping off like flies latley?
Right now Mayor Lim is doing a good number on a few of my media friends here and it will be coming out in tomorrow's paper's whats really going on.
Especially this blue card incident???
He has gotten so many persons mad at him for his behaviors latley he was suppose to give a speech during the opening of the Peace and Security assembly but he was a no show for that.
He did how ever show up in the afternoon at the airport later on that day to wellcome and greet the President of the Philippines.
Hoever mayor lim is a sensitive man he likes to be overbearing and no one can get a word in edge wise as he is always right and the rest of us who may have suggestions for him he takes it rather personally as in insult.
The man flares up and loses his temper he can not take critisism well as an public officail in my eye's if your good in PR skills in any job or walk of life then your A #1 in my book! 8D
PR goes a long way if you want to get anywhere in life or have progress that needs to get done.

Well GEC yesterday on the closing ceremony of the peace security summit I cried as I really thought how the local media was being treated by the Manila newspaper security persons.
So rude and it made me cry to the point that i almost wanted to th_ _ _ _  _P!
We were pushed shoved bitched at all kinds of things the past two days I do not recall one smile on anyones face during the assembly in our local media.
GEC who are you? I want you to come out in the open of who you are?
Is it Kit Bagaipo? Ted Ayeng?  I drive you crazy? Hmmmmmmmmmmm? he he he? Whacky? I will go for silly over whacky any other day. Thank you! for the nice compliment. 8D

This afternoon about 23 local media men attended a PiA briefing prior to getting our 2 pieces of ID needed for this two days event starting tomorrow.
Looks like it will be a busy day or two.
I am looking forward to what efforts will be put forth and what will be gained and possibly solved for this summit.
I am honestly hoping that allot of good things will come from it.
It could not have come at a better more needed time now.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not sure I agree 100% of what I have just stomached from up above.
I am a surrogate mother an American to Philippine children. I honestly pity them as they are living in a country that is so age discriminate when it comes to hiring persons for work.
I do not recall having cake brought to me, or my parents calling before they visited me?
I remember the Independence that my mother taught to me to be able to think and solve problems on my own with out having to disturb or bother them with my adult problems.
I remember holding down 3 full time jobs at once and paying for my own rental apartment.
My parents raised me well and there fore once I was educated working and living on my own why should my parents have to support my adult life when this time should be spent resting and enjoying what they would like to do once they have raised their kids.
What kind of kids ends up totally being responsible and not depending on their parents by the age of 28 years old?
The kids here also expect that if they have babies the grandparents pay for that also? No way!
Our parents do not have to clean our house they are visitors and besides we clean up after ourselves as we do not have mama and Dada doing it for us up to age 28 as we are use to looking after ourselves.
Here in the Philippines the kids always want to go to the mall and have the most expensive gadgets and cell phones not able to understand that their parents are having a struggle to put the bread and butter on the table?
No wonder the folks here look older at their age then we do in America. The harder you work the much faster you will become older and older looking.
I see it as a selfish disease to see some flat slob college man glued to the cartons at almost being 21 years of age, or even the play station and he is not bothering to help his family who works all day by maintaining the house here in the Philippines?
Why is that something to be happy about?
As my mother told me I can have what I want just so long as I help around the house after school and I have earned it.
This way i will take care of it better and appreciate it more as I know and understand the work and time I put on to earn the money to have it!

SWAT did I hear Inking say he needs a swat on his rear to treat the team right?
It sounds boring to me a SWAT?
Sounds like the steer needs to be pulled by the horns and other places to get the rest of the things running smoothly in the pastures instead of his being the only one always greener then his other coworkers.
I can not imagine a SWAT team here in the province?
NOT!

I heard it thought the Dagohoy PNP grapevine why is it that Colonel Inking is gutom gutom and not sharing it with the rest of the force as Evangelista use to0?
When Sir Evangelista would receive bonuses for extra works performed by the provincial police he would share it with his PNP crew? I heard this guy is not doing that what kind of Moral boosting is that for being rewarded to go the extra mile.
Inking has a reputation in the region 7 office of never giving the guys their extra incentives or does he put it towards having off duty moral boosting socials.
Maybe a smooth ship needs to be run by a cool upper management.
Mike!!!!!! opie does not live here in the Philippines only "BOSS HOG!" does.
prior to election I heard several complaints from the PNP that mayor Lim was playing favorites and politics with certain criminals and police and letting things slide off the hook?
As I said hire more guys to do the physical street works and look at the boss dog with the fussy nuts who is running the show? Y'Claro Jyud!

you watch in about nine months from now we will have allot of babies being born because people are afraid to go out at night now and so they just stay home and cuddle and become more just to add to the crisis even more for the future.
Filipino complain about criminal behavior but what do you call a soiled homeless child in the streets here you treat them as they are walking sidewalk mats here?
Clean up after yourselves and your people here Bohol is suppose to be a beautiful tourist destination I do say what a crime to see the children living under terrible conditions in the streets.
Double standard or what people?

We need a mayor to stop going out of town always whether it be in Las Vegas "SIN CITY" or in MNLA with his spouse.
He was just re-elected and we have issues to take care of and I am sorry to affend any boxxing nuts who think that boxxing is more important then running a city?
Y'Claro?
is that a tax free trip has anyone looked into it? I did see the round trip tickets sitting on his mayor's desk why is it there and not leave at home?
Inquiring minds want to know?

I LOVE TOTO VELOSO, and i hope he can make things work during the city hall meetings.
He is a kind and tame politician. Always gives me the time of day to say hello to me when I pass him by.
His staff always wellcomes me to visit and drink Coffee at his office as well as mayor Lims office. I hope he does not allow The big boy to squash too much the little fellas warming up the bench! he he he!

yES IT WAS DISCUSSED WITH cHITO vISSARA AND bATCHOY aLBA DURING THIER PULSO RADIO SHOW ON dyrd.
iT WAS DICUSSED DURING THE TIME IT WAS GOING ON AND IT WAS SO TWISTED UP AND COVERED UP TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT AND THE GUILTY. THE CASE WAS BIZZARE AND ENDED UP DEAD ENDING.
iT IS MORE BETTER IF STATE OR COUNTY CHARGES FOR THE CRIME SO TIME IS SERVED AND PAID AND THE iSLAND MAKES MORE BETTER SERVICES FOR THE PUBLIC FROM FINES BEING PAID DIRECTLY TO THE COURTS.
jURY COURT IS BY FAR THE BEST WAY TO HANDLE THE LAW OR JUDGES DECISION ALONE,

Some people live in a world of plastic, some live in a world of make believe, and some think with in reality, and some write on conviction things that are experienced knowingly.
Stop bashing the PNP. They are people also.
Instead of bashing you Filipinos should be coming up with solutions as a community to voice out opinions and suggestions for dishing out the punishment that fits the crime.
I say eye for and eye.
I say do away with human right groups who say that punishment is an act of violation even though the criminal has violated some one Else's rights?
Stop pussy footing around with handling criminals and the regional department for the PNP needs to with out a doubt hire more persons to get the heat in the street!
I observed a grave yard shift the other night one investigator was handling over 12 persons at once in a youth gang event. another was handling a fender bender and was talking with nine eyewitnesses.
Bottom line there do not tailgate in my country the one who hits you from behind is automatically at fault as he was not in a cars length distance in the first place.
That there was a waste of police time.
Just before that there was a stabbing incident that lead to death as a man had stabbed a passenger in the Jeepney near to Manga and tip tip this city.
Tonight I am riding in a multi cab to ICM and low and behold three guys jumped on the rear bumbler to take a free ride I shouted Y'Claro! the other passangers thought it was funny and looked on as in appearing to be acting ignorant and non vigilant to what was going on around them? for all I knew what if it could of been a hold up to the persons inside the multi cab?
People have no incentives to spill the beans around here in the Philippines whats in it for them if they give tips that lead to arrest?
These people are fearfull something bad will happen to them if they try to assist with the law.
The reward is one minus scum bag off the streets and the pride you would have in being a caring persons to your brothers and sisters in this community.
Let me write the rules of punishment let me put the fear in the head of persons who may want to think twice about messing with someone in the wrong way. Wellcome to "Precious Justice!"
No I have not quacked its that I care to much and things need to be run differently to get things under control again. THE END!

Franklin, just be lucky your able to be living in my country across the miles. I live here but both places have their fair share of @*%@# but on the average i would say States is more disciplined then here by far.
Here the punishment does not fit the crime as it does in the states plus it adds fear as well to want to be in violation again.
I am at BQ frequently and I think your exaggerating a bit to far when you say they are in front of BQ leaning over the hoods of their cars and gawking at the girls? It just happens to be that is the pick up mall for guys to get girls and maybe you are some what jealous to say that type of thing?
Construction guys look at girls walking by also when they are working what are the police to do should they blindfold  hemselves so they do not see the girls or or the boys or be able to watch and catch the bad scenes in the street? Y'claro?
What you are whining about is pointless and how do you call your state and your country in Philippines both yours?
I am an American citizen with a permanent resident visa born in America but living here still as an American citizenship.
I hope when your putting down my country that your not a citizen there as well as being born from here?
My country does not allow me to have a dual citizenship same like yours.
As I said if you do not like it in America and how it is run then go back to the Philippines or do something to help your original country here back in the Philippines?

#1657
I have friends who are police men/ladies here, when I have been able to discuss the latest issues on crime with them they say that the regional office must hire more men to work in the streets as what is available now is working all the desk jobs.
Last week Bohol had a total of three homicides with in all five days.
I also had written a nice column covering my graveyard observance at the city PNP office in tagbilaran city.
My column was touched by my editor so much before press time and had jumped around all over and made no sense to what was going on and so much of what i had written about the the crimes and complaints that had been going on was cut. I am so embaresses about that column. I felt it was important to observe first hand and let our readers know what an understaffed City PNP office has to go through nd it is demanding.
All I can say is do not knock the police here unless you have walked in thier shoes as being understaffed.
Once you take/violate rights of others do you think you should get to keep yours?
Why not let the punishment fit the crime and put fear in the head of these idiots who continue to do mean things to the community?
keep these human rights groups out of the picture I say eye for an eye.
I also think the husband of Sharon Cuneta is wrong to have introduced such a bill that does not allow minors from around age 13-17 get punished for crimes they have commited now we even have rival youth groups ussing weapons against one another.
I say do what the states does make juvenile detention halls.
Rehabilitate and council these kids into not doing these bad things and let them know they are capeable of being better then pulling nonsense crimes.
Stop just slapping hands in general as the only punishment you know only this action will just continue to let bad guys keep on doing bad things to the community because the punishment is a joke here.
Even the police here agree with me.
Too many groups getting in the way and just to understaffed.
People here do not even know how or even care to yeild the right of way to pedestrians who are crossing the intersections in marked crosswalks its so simple the laws just need to make them different as well as making the punishment fit the crime and stop selling alcohol to persons under 21 years of age.
Stop being so ignorant in handling the crap and the crime going on here. Make the punishment mean something put fear in the minds as well as fines. Mean Businessas we are fearing of our rights and safety more now a days as basically persons know they can get away with commiting crime here now.
THE END!

#1658
I do not care what your complaints are in here. No matter what the DOH has no clue on how to operate any foods sold and prepared for restaurant use or consuption when it comes to the public food safety concern of the people here in the Philippines as a whole.
So many permits are given but where are the on sight hand washing sights in these pop up vending stalls in the malls? do not tell me the sink in the toilet that just sicking!
Not allowed in the states while vending.
You must have a sink to wash in and not only that but a bucket with water and one cap of bleach for sanitizer.
I so often go into restaurants and malls here and have to ask for a rag to even get a table washed to start with and these business's have permits.
Tonight at the BQ mall I had just bought my daughter and I an icecream cone and low and behold the man working there had wiped his nose across his hand and continued to make the next customers orders with out washing his hands? "TWOINKS!"
No I did not see a sink nor a sink or a bucket with sanitizing solution in it?
So Boholanos better not get to high and mighty until you write a book on real health laws for food and beverage handlers and all workers in this field are to go to a day seminar and read a book on the proper food and drink handling practices and be able to take a test and pass the test for getting your restaurant handlers card. THE END!

As I said last week where is the words said between Doni piquero and ERC Rauf Tan at the beginning of the hearing in the Chronicles write up?
Y' Claro?
It is not there because there were no reporters or media inside at the hearing during the first 30 minutes of the hearing but me so they had missed the arguing statements on what was the city administrations purpose for being there. (That the city did not know the rules to how the hearing procedures work?)
No it does not surprise me that Kit did not put it in  here.
It's predictable as Kit my dear friend knows who puts the bread and butter on his table?

I personally do not think or feel that is is right that any sports person should absorb so much time and efforts as thrown into these Philippine boxxer's by certain politicians here in this province. Okay its great win or lose for the individual.
But to promise a project whether or not there is a win or loss is in my way of thinking is totally bizarre as in way out there as if being pushed out of the boxing ring!
Any athletes outcome is not suppose to control political thinking or projecting in Bohol that's out of control? they arrst for illegal swertes playing but why is the Governor gambling with sports?
Forgot concentrating on these boxxers who do not contribute a part of their winnings to their community or report taxxes honestly according to the lifestyles page writer in the Sunday Post. (AUG,12th).
You politicians should not have your actions controlled for the benefits of others as i said up above on gambling on win or lose sporting events, Y' claro?
More concentration needs to go back into getting this province in better health, and a better livelihood for all to be had and also more concentration needs to go into controlling crime and being able to make more jobs and have more people working.
Politicians are not suppose to be game they are to be rooting for all of us in our daily game of life to help us live by protection security and comfort no persons should be denied political promises based on whether an athlete from the said province is a winner or a loser in any sport.

I also love congressman chatto do not get me wrong, maybe he wants to take a rest after being one of the most kindest congresmen that i have ever seen.
As far as Marlito's staff being under paid or not up to par i have also heard the same things. Thats were it comes into despite everything the staff has allot of after hours parties sponsored by the mall to create stumulation and bonding amongst employees in the hardest times.
If you want to sip-sip dila in the sampot of Mayor Dan Lim then I advise you all to do your homework about how dan uses his administration and acknowldeges them only when he wants to use them. I even get teased that he likes persons my size working for him.
I have done my best to get along with him.
He sent Atty Don piquero into the hearing of the BLCI unbundling hearing and in return honorable ERC Tan had humiliated the city administration on not being able to understand or know how the procedure was to be handled for the hearing? I thought Piquero was going to be booted out on his head out of the hearing?
i was laughing and at the same time was wondering why there was no other media persons inside only me when the hearing was getting underway. Atty. piquero was red in the face. they had missed the best part.
I will be curious if any paper has the balls to print what happened to Atty. Piquero as they were not there and also why would they talk about it as they know Dan lim would scream his butt off at them and humiliate them in public. i do not wear my heart in my sleaves.
Seems if you want dan for governor would't you want an official who does his homework?
claro jyud.

I would like to thank Sir. Loy Palapos for considering me a chance to be interviewed for his one on one column.
I had allot of thinking to do with his total of 13 questions given to me in writeen form. I have also been given allot of positive compliments for the interview from palapos himself. I was even told by the newspaper stand lady that many readers were askiing for copies of "Sunday Post" for the simple reason that they were askiing for the interview with the American.
She also stated that it was the first time the "Sunday Post" had moved so quickley at the news stand in a long time.
I wrote the interview just how I write my columns in the weekly publication that I write in known as "The Bohol standard" . My problem is I am raised in being a direct person in who I am and what I see.
I write about things that are realistic. I do not nor have I ever made things up in my head. If the kettle is black it is black.
I do not believe in playing games.
Loy did make a ouple of boo-boo's my middle name is "Mathison" and the word haggle was suppose to be harrassing. It's okay he did not do it purposely. I really had allot of fun again as i said. It's unfortunante that there are those Filipiono persons who as a whole when representing theier race behaive so poorly when it came to the question on bad traits?
More concentration to disciplin is what is needed here to correct the bad manners that are very present in public.
I wanted to say more but i was allowed to give only three traits.
In overall judgement i really enjoy my stay here and I am simply use to being raised in the country in the united states of America were we have discipline and respect for others around us always and most of us are bold about the trueths.
If the Philippines was serious about being like America then they would practice the ways that our good goverment taught to them. life would be allot more sucessfull and easy if this country would not make it so hard for people to do the simplest of things here. Your only kob in life is to be nice. is it to much to ask of anyone?

I am not  boholana but I think my opinion is a positive one. lets face it to many cheifs are in one barrel when we vote for any higher government position we are not just voting on one person why we are voting on the entire staff and body of this administraive high office holding person. it is not just him who makes and plans out the entire system it is the network that is ubder him that provides the work the high voted in official holds the decisions not the actuall planning.
I honestly can say I apreciate Marlito Uy from Alturas he is a wise business man and a very giving person in the local community and province. he is also a farmer and agricultarist and has had to play the games and had to abide by every rule as a business man, farmer, and civically. I have never seen the man lose control, or take things personally nor does he make the paer as a bad mark on society as the biggest businessman here in Bohol. Marlito Uy is not into social class climbing behaviors and gets along well with everyone.
I recently had the chance to see and hear the business owner and farmer answer questions at the Bohol business and trade fair at ICM on the stage. the man is bright and deserves more credit then he gets now.
I am so tired of everyone changing their minds and talkinging bad about Mayor Dan Lim but when it came to vote buying I seen so many desperate and non thinking Boholanos voting being bought for cheap.
You guys do not care who wins here it is all about what you can get here and then you have to live with it for every three years and it is a broken cd over and over again.
Often I do not even see the constition being followed here let alone COMELEC crashing down on candidates who break the laws. What a joke!
Marlito Uy is a sure fire candidate for governor if he wanted the job he would do a great job. The people working with him now are also dedicated and smart as well and they have the best known public relation skills.

:'(Last Monday July, 23rd, I was also victimized of my cell phone being snatched inside of a local shopping department store here in the center of the city.
I am I foriegn national living here in Bohol.
I keep reminding myself that I'm in a Roman catholic country and why is this ungodly behavior happening in a country that is suppose to be so close to their God?
It's really gotten out of hand? It is sad to say that the corruption forces people to make victims out of those of us who have worked hard to have what we do and then due too hard times and desperativeness we are robbed blind of our valuable posessions.
I should file a case as what if that department store allows this kind of people to case out persons and eventually go beyond stealing as much to say who knows I could of had a knife in my back as a foriegnor by the guard who was allowing this type of crap to come into the store. What kind of protection do i have as A foriegnor if the guard is not doing their jobs at these stores? >:(

???>>>>>> :o What i find shocking is the fact that ours truly Mayor Lim can fly to Las vegas stay in posh places supporting boxxing but what does Bohol really gain from all of it?
I have heard  allot of buZZZzzz buZZZzzz around the city that this boxxing is for Mayor lim to gain popularity as I do not think we could fathom any further of thinking of  him if whether or not he plans too support the pagaent event ever again?
A beauty intelligent and talent pagaent >>>VS<<< getting your brains knocked out boxxing? :-X
Almost one year ago Mayor belly ached to the media and public about how he does not want to promote beauty over brains and that too much was being focused on basically what he was gettin at was nonsense.
So what do you call smashing someones brains out?......Y'claro?

I enjoy any kind of contest especailly if it involves young persons so it keeps them focused on good hobbies and goals.
I would rather see that then youth out having unwanted pregnancies, and drinking or drug involvement.
The local city and provincail gov't, needs to encourage more activities for the youth here.
love priss. :)

I am so sick and tired of Philippine women being vitimized by foriegnor men. >:(
You woman have to stop being so vulnerable to foriegnor guys you think that they are white and come from another land that that makes them automatically rich?
So many of the foriegnor guys coming here are from web matching now a days, or chat room meetings?
I see these men once they get here they are not what the American women wants so being rejected in his own country he knows the ladies will go va va voomers in other countries that are not so well off.
I hear stories all the time being told by foriegnor men that it is hard for them to walk down the dtreet alone without all sorts of Philippine women crawling all over them at one time.
Allot of these guys coming here from my country have either been emotional evaluated to be considered incapacitated enough not to work so they collect an SSI supliment.
They are known to be involved in abussive reletionships so once the word is out no one is interested in him.
Also many of the American guys coming here are not any prize when it comes to getting any pogi points.
Gawpo, tisoy or what ever ladies.
It is not advisable to meet guys via web sights. My advise beautifull ladies is to go to their country meet their friends, their families, and neighbors and see for yourself if you have a good match?
When the guys comes here and you get married and you have never been to his country to check it out first thats just plain stupid. :-X
I live near a big city where about eight years ago 16 Philippne women mail order brides were murdered.
In  every nationality if your mates parents are close to him/her then your chances of having a good relationship are better or a marraige. :)
Maybe this is another warning to be carefull when choosing Foriegnor men as your mates or possible spouses what may look green on the outside may not appear to be greener from the inside always.
Take care my friends remember I care. ;)

I was nominated by GEC okay i am a blind mice in here this tubog sa bohol kinsini si Gec dinhi?
Salamat por sa nominato ako lang sa judge. ;D
I am experience very much as "THE JUDGE!" I am generous in score giving and not afraid to give scores where good scores should be given.
I am also non-biased as I do not know very many people here so in no way can I be biased.
I have found allot of Philippine judges to be too strict in score giving.
You would really think that how the Philippine people judge and rate in judging situations is really looy
kasi barrato in score, and somewhat apprehensive to give a high score because compliments do not get heard often here enough as if; "Heaven forbid score that person as if they are better then me?"
What will my fellow Philippino people think of me if i score them high?
Who cares people score good if it is good score avg if it needs improvement.
sad truth about me as a judge here in the Philippines even though I do not know the schools too much here but the important is I have five years of drum corp international behind me and three of those were spent as defending northwest champions Sir. Loy Palapos kicked me out of the Alturas show down in November as a regular judge  because I am a member of the media? :'(
i think that is the saddest time to recall in my life that I have spent here in Bohol. :'(
take care love the support and kind thoughts.

What amazes me is the people here gloat about how proud they are to be a native from here? but, they marry outside their race to get away from the place? ::)
So they are not that proud after all?

Most marry for this one $$$$$ and are hoping for greener pastures from the other side of the fence with their new husband.

Most women who get married here to foreigners have a high rate of divorce after they have a new country citizenship and remarry again in the same country.

Allot of foreigner men come up to me and we laugh together as they tell me how unfaithful their being to their Philippine wives here.

The reason for it is because they are having a boring time here compared to the fast paced life back home.
The Philippine wife is fine with it for me "No Way"!
The foreign husband gets here and he pays for everyone in her family and it is not practiced in our place to get married and be the bread winner for Uncle Joe, Aunt sue, cousin Billy Bob, and the family pet pig.

I am telling you Philippine ladies if you want to lose your foreigner man just keep on washing his pocket book out supporting people he barely knows in your family.
It upsets them but they are too nice to say anything to you about it. So if your happy using a foreigner husband as an ATM machine then I guess it makes sense why you ladies allow these guys to be unfaithful towards you because you hold the legal banking card!

I also notice the Philippine woman married to a Westerner or other white foreigner man here is also changing her style of dress from conservative to non conservative?
She wears more richer threads then a Philippine woman married to her own native race.

I will not change for anyone I do not care what the style of the country is I will respect but not change it or myself
I would never marry to change my status in fact poor men have character and are rich in heart and rich men have everything and they never seem content!  >:( JUST BE YOURSELF AND ACCEPT YOU FOR :)  HOW YOU REALLY ARE DO NOT DO IT FOR OTHERS DO IT FOR YOURSELF PEOPLE!) :D

okay!

Since this event is a topic of Sandugo and it's is all about the blood compact please correct me if I am wrong indeed.
I will have my font color changed to red just to honor for the celebration of the occasion.
Please take note and think deep all?...... ???
The city mayor does not allow adult book stores with xxx videos, or the kinky foreplay toys that are sold in those type of adult establishments.(Whats make you think he wants to see little girls wiggling their buttocks in skimpy swimsuits especailly around crowds that are drinking ahem in case you have not noticed Bohol has been increasing with pedophiles, rapist, and other serious crimes, why provoke it?) I Think possibly mayor Lim is worried that some people will get out of control and someone could get hurt.
He does not even like movies with love scenes in them. We have had plenty of sci-fi movies playing in our malls here, along with Walt Disney, and some violent movies.
Love scene movies not!
You want to know why the pageant is probably really canceled read back to The Bohol Chronicle about eight months or more back and you will see an article written about how the mayor does not want to exploit just beauty and sexxism during pageants. he felt that too much was being concentrated on this subjects about pageants, and wants more energy focused on the academics.
The mayor on the other hand does have boxing scheduled for Sandugo and as you can see always sponsors boxing events.
Boxing is violent and both an aggressive sport and is seen around the world by many.
Come on girls in Bohol you do not need a beauty pageant to represent your face and place.
You just need your self confidence that says you are a good person and you need to have the type of nice friends who know how to and when to give you positive compliments to make you feel encouraged in todays times.
I have always seen these kinds of pageants demeaning and a money contest among parents.
I get so turned off when I see a beautiful Boholana lady all festered up with fake hair, False eye lash's, birthday cake face, and some gown that some parents have poured three or more months worth of their hard earned work into and when the young lady does not win they are way down on themselves. :'(
I have judged many contest here and have seen it time and again.
Why go through the money, agony, and popularity contest always intense and poised unnaturally when you ladies can represent Bohol as being naturally your lovely selves?
Besides you avoid embarrassment,by being just simply beautiful towards the people and things around you all the time.
Never mind the contest it is not the end of the world, and concentrate and do good in other things such as quiz contests, spelling bee's
things that show off your intelligence.
I say allot more power to you always when it comes to brain over beauty!
Good Luck All!
;)

Travel and Tours / Re: I Was There!!!
June 30, 2007, 02:39:47 AM
Good evening first of all.
I am a resident foreigner living here in Bohol and I can say with in the past 6 years of my existence here on this lovely fault plume called Bohol the physically beauty of the place is nindote puro coming here as a tourist to stay in Bohol for a night or more it is heard time over time again that the two complaints that are heard are about the night life which is almost a zero and the prices of some of the resorts is steep indeed!
Even a foreigner may often complain about the prices that are being charged at these tourist destination places? "Grabi jyud" "Mahal Kayo"?
:o :o :o I have stayed in those resorts with these so called prices and you would expect to find the rooms clean and none smelling of cigarettes, or alcohol or yet alone often not even been aired out to allow the other occupancy's ahead of you to gawas their hot and heavy breath remnants that are still stagnating in the air that you can taste what they were up too?  :-\ uhg!
One place where I stayed in Panglao was amazing my shower drain had jet black (I will keep it clean) kinky hairs from the people before me and a partial of their condom wrapper still remained in the corner of our shower from the renters before us.
If your going to be paying these kind of prices as you normally would in an American resort and also expected to pay the same here most indefinably your room had better be down right clean and sanitized and smelling fresh.
Made my skin crawl even wondering about if the bed sheets had been changed before we paid for our room? ???
If Bohol really wants to become a full blown tourist destination they need to get more serious and offer more for their visitors to want to keep coming back here and also at reasonable with rates not price gouging rates. For example just because you see a foreigner and it causes you to have dollar bill signs "chinging" in your eyeballs it does not mean they are are loaded!
Do you think the one working in the hotel is getting paid American wages to keep your room clean? In America the hotel laborer's are making a minimum of $72.00 a day at 9 hour shifts. (P3,504,00) thats per day. :-*
With charging the same rates as some of the resorts here. do you get my point?
Pay the Philippine workers what they are worth, treat them as real people and not just robots, what you put out reflects on the end result!
Love All! INGAT!!!
