I had a friend and co-worker while I was still with SABIC ( one of the world's largest petrochemical company ) who left for Australia to work, but after a year, he opted to return as the "racial discrimination" he said was so prevalent ....

but this notion was changed when I met 3 Australians in Brussels who became my friends (even travelling, staying, eating together until Paris}.  I openly discussed with them about being "racist" as they say, which prompted them to invite me to visit Sydney to see for myself....

The University of San Carlos' campuses is relatively most similar in terms of ambience and facilities with your school, and she is at par with any universities of excellence ....

Hoy wala nay bias ha... ( just because I graduated from USC), but you could visit the campuses of the Science and Technology in Talamban ( no one in Cebu or Bohol and neigboring cities ) of course except UP and Ateneo de Manila... coz LaSalle in within the busy streets.....

Our patriotism is half baked.... not genuine... we lived in a double standard society... people say that they are patriotic, only in word and not in deeds....

Filipinos lack in marketing... we have plenty of qualified, technical and competent professionals.

We are a good source for outsourcing business, the thing is, there is no mutual, good working relationship with our government and business entities.

Marketing our manpower resources could be part of a marketing job of our foreign service men in their exhibitions, state visits.... etc. that is what we are missing.

Through this forum, those who are inclined to arts could assist Bohol by providing fresh ideas, resources to our resident artists...  We could initiate this by getting in touch with them and inquire how we could integrate and translate this relationship into something valuable in the community.

microfinancing for small entrepreneurs... but not only on fund sourcing but should also deal on providing consultancy, guidance and partnership... i believe we will prosper... not just focus on the funds to be lent...and the income of commission / interest to derive... like what we have here in the Philippines....
