General Topic / Re: Filipino Kids vs. American Kids
November 08, 2007, 01:50:06 AM
I was asked because I am a foreigner. (Not a HARDHEAD)
In the states you do not get asked to do near as much as we foreigners are asked to do here as most persons here see foreigners with dollar signs flashing in their eyeballs.
Even in my country back home I am generous but what does it get me in return for all the good deeds I have done?
I am not bossy, or pushing other persons around and making false judgement neither am I going back on things I say.
I do not call persons mental or emotionall disturbed, neither do i call them hard headed. You  never get asked because the people in the world know already that Philippine persons come from a hard back ground.
I have nothing to show but I have entrusted myself to persons here who have abused my trust and goodness.
Ungratefully indeed thats when people need and should be reminded of the good deeds that are done. The kindness of persons generosity are far and few and in between now a days.
I had a surgery this year i needed a down payment and my husbands allotment was not yet deposited into the bank when I asked the persons whom I normally help out and it was embarrassing to ask the few i was rejected by all?
They would rather i die but two weeks after my surgery they want that I lend them.
No one volunteers to pay for ones responsibilities since when?
You guys have to remind yourself that your culture and church makes things different here.
Here the people have babies when they have no money and often not a house of their own and still depending on their olds to help them raise what is suppose to be their own kids responsibilities.
Catholic church wants to preach about and impose the use of birth birthcontrol but where are they when the kids are Hungary no diapers, and barely one meal on the table per day? Are they giving money to those persons who have babies with out money as they tell them not to use birth control?
Who ends up footing the bills here when the churches tells 18 yr olds who are "HOT" that they are too young to have sex?
Blows my mind I do not see the help or assistance from the church here once Jr. pop's out.
Then Jr. is put out on the street or holding his palm out to passers by in the streets.
Your resources are thin here do to the over population of the Philippines.
Things are more expensive now and the dollar is down.
I have to ask any of you how often have you been asked to pay for hospital bills by white native persons in America who you do not know so well?

Even I have sat at a local radio station here and when the community desk had nothing to give I reached out of my pocket several times when they approached me as I could see they needed the assistance. Walang stingy naman   I am the one that does not assist and sit and try to justify to those who who do get hit up allot and not appreciated.

I have seen Filipino mothers get outraged when their own kids ask for money for a project at school.
Imagine how much more they would be outraged if persons with no money approached them about to have a baby asking them to pay the hospitalbill as they have no money?

I have a house of 7 members when the dad is an OFW and eight when he is home. Its hard to make ends meet with my household members that i have and the dollar being down and the prices getting higher. Why would I offer and when I do it is that I offer to those in a life or death situation now a days.

You can talk to any other foreigner here the story is the same from them.

They are married to Filipino ladies.

Talk of the Town / Re: Judge sacked for immorality
November 08, 2007, 01:04:01 AM
Your absolutely correct grazie. I watched a news channel from the states tonight and it was talking about what kids are the cool kids now versus when the era from when i had attended school back home I was totally not surprised when I heard that the pot smokers, and trouble makers are now considered the cool ones in school.
The other kids such as what we refer to as Geeks are even made fun of from not only their schools peers but as well by teachers and in some cases parents.

Some parents provoke and intice their kids to knock down other kids. "Dog eat dog world" as they say makes one wonder if their is ever going to be any hope to make a better tomorrow in the near future?
Not if the people our kids look up to for examples continue to act the way they do now.

I hail from the state Washington. When I am home I am living on the Lower Columbia River border I am more close to Portland oregon then I am to Seattle Washington.

The Pacific Ocean is located near by to the west of my family's residence by a one hours drive distance.

How about you grazie 7y

When the toinks stop I will be more then happy to keep you all posted but as it appears I am just a gossip and poor writer and blind to the kind of life that goes on around here for the past six years.
I am always in a hurry to write allot of the time as i am also tending to my kids often. but you know what is the general message maybe when you all come back for a visit give me a buzz would be nice to meet you all face to face and share in laughter and see the person we are communicating with as well.
I am actually a funny person but the stuff going on in Bohol is enough o make anyone crazy.

Yes it was at Cecelia Putong High.

The victims are both under age as they were students I have furthered my investigations this past week and was informed by the public school administrator that he had received a report and it was not satisfied with it.
Only one suspect was mentioned and the other one not yet.
Only the criminal case was filed and the first preliminary the case was postponed.

It was postponed do to another appointment conflict by an atty. and the other is because the other suspect was address was in Balilihan and not Tagbilaran.

It has been postponed to Nov, 15th.

If some of you are coming to Bohol lets meet for snacks and becomes friends I am tired of your guys always saying I do not know.

I know allot from having friends Filipina in the states and what they say, and what I observe here as well.
It would not surprised if one day went by that some guy or a girl here does not ask me for a foreign penpal.

He he he he!

Lorenzo great pictures very cute.

Did you catch the Fox news specail by Colonel Oliver North last weekend about the Philippines and the rebels.
#1506
I had an encounter with five rebels while traveling outside recently and i had to keep it cool while the conductor grabbed the stainless steel bar from under the drivers seat so they would not get to comfortable and wise.

Bambi my little girls biological father happens to be a policeman in the interior of Bohol and we often talk and many things are not let out because of intelligent reasons for the police and military do not want to be out foiled with the rebels.
These Philippine persons are dedicated to fight this unjustice that affects all of all over the world these days.

Philippine Business News / Re: Remembering our loved ones
November 07, 2007, 05:44:17 PM
Thats what allot of you all look like when you get up in the morning and look at yourselves with out your make up and cobbed hair whats worse is lately you act it also.

ADHD ah come on how immature sounding. I honestly feel like this website sight is becoming a witch club just to see which one of you can come up and compete with who can be the rudest one in here?

You guys are damned when I am nice and damned if I tell the truth. did you see the pretty picture painted on your Chronicle paper this weekend?

your all missing this place for what? a few persons where killed this weekend in tip tip and ubujuan showed their dead faces full of blood pouring out of their heads.

This scene is becoming common here.
I was even impressed with all the bad changes that are happening here when I cam back  after visiting my family.

I thought what in the world is ruining this what use to be friendlier and peacefull place of Bohol.

If you return from OS and see the changes you yourself will be dismayed if no one has the decency to say what is the truth.

I was missing Bohol when I was back in America but the bad things keep on happening by persons with out heart here and I keep reminding myself why I returned here but it is not the same as when I leave it behind before?

Its degressing. you have many persons coming in from the other provinces now who are contributing to such awful things going on.

You have persons here who just sit and do nothing to assist in being vigilant for themselves or others.
Many are scared to discuss things because they fear what others may think or say or do to them.
I do not miss America but I miss my family. America is not always having it brightest days as there are also horrible things happening there as well.
I miss America in the way it use to be it was the kind of country that when you went to a store you never use to have to lock the car doors because no one bothered your things.
Thats all changed now.
Look at me I do not take the Philippine citizenship here just because i live here I am American and proud of my country status as if stands for liberty and justice for all.
I want to know if so many of you are so happy over seas then why do you change your citizensships?
My husbands a philippine man just because i do not take the citizenship does not mean I love him less.
Yeah' dual citizenship has always amazed me in why they honor such a thing to persons who go there and start actting that they are all that when they came from a original country that had done nothing for them and thats why they leave it to begin with.
Stop kidding yourselves enjoy what America and other countries have to offer you.
It is allot more then what they have to offer you here in Philippines or you would not be over seas to begin with.

Its my right to call it the way it is I am so glad i do not have to take personal matters out on others and toinking just to be mean.

please stop being pain in the ass's. I have a bad taste of what is the meaning of Roman Catholic when you act the way you do?

Why waste time praying, going to church, and doing other godly things when you are not friendly in here.
Just try to read all you messages in here and see who is more realistic and who is just dealing with ain't the world all wonderful when it is not (read fantasy).

you all have allot of posts and the post you have not written anything that is about your country of origin anything that is constructive you want to pick fights in here.

I'm to grown up for that kind of nonsense.

I would like to put you all to a challenge and see what you can say good about your place of origin here in the Philippines. In about 3 paragraphs or more.
Also why it was that you were driven to America to work and why it is you want citizen in America or any other place when you are missing it here in Bohol?

How do you feel that America and other countries offer help to persons from under developed countries?
Would it not seem that you should all count your blessing for those kinds of opportunities allowed for you by countries that care. Your also allowed to petition your family abroad as eventually and no need to miss anyone for you have everything going for you more then you would have here for now.
I would hope that more Philippine persons working over seas would bring home money and make business to employee more people and help bring down the poverty scale here.
It seems with all the money being made over seas and not sent here is for personal gang only and not to help this country?
This country should be better off if the money made from OFW's was all really sent back home for improving this country?

I have donated thousands of pesos myself to programs here to help the underprivileged and you sit in America my place of origin or where ever and toink me?
Ha ha ha ? Thats not only funny but that is ungrateful.

#1508
32ha ha ha it seams like some people can not and do not handle the trueth well.

I can think of about five persons in here who are so jealous that I am here and knowing more and seeing more then they do about their own place here. Ha ha ha you guys make me laugh!
#1509
It was reported as being in felt unman parts of the Philippines as far away as Luzon. It felt like some one had grabbed the ground underneath me and began jerking it side to side.
The things were falling off the walls. But back in my winter stay in the Philippines It felt like way worse then this was and I do not think this is over yet.
During my Christmas stay with friends here in Manila we had a 7.1 earthquake in the wee hours of the morning around 2am. It was definitely a shaker and a mover.
We are all fine here as we are all brave Boholanos yea!!!!

'm sorry Precious, but i think that you we're the one who started saying about, that we Filipinos lived and married outside our race claimed to be a proud Filipino, but we really are not because if we are, we wouldn't marry outside our race and live in other country. you can read again your post on the Expats in Bohol topic.

Did you ever know that you judge us before you know us?

Quote from: preciousNpolite on October 28, 2007, 11:40:27 PM
So what are you saying now? you marry not for love and happiness? You marry for what then? Why not live back and forth in each others country so you can both be happy thats the often way mixxed couples do it here?
I see many Filipino ladies entertaining about five open yahoo windows each with different men from all over the world, come on whats going on you people are to be about love?
So if your not happy being married to another country man then why did you get married at all to them?
Is it for financial positioning and climbing? thats not a good reason for marrying!

That sounds desperate and like a user but look at the brighter side once your established you can invite your kin to the other countries from the Philippines to join up with you, as for me its been a long time since I have seen my family as well and I can see them upon my visit back into America?

No as a permanent resident holder here in the Philippines and being from the states we are not allowed to take citizenship single or dual here.
So there fore we can not petition our family here to your Philippines country how you are wellcome to over there.
Its a big world of difference Happy.

Your name says Happy girlfriend you are so respected and treated with more fairness in America then what I have been put through here with.
I have been asked to pay for several hospital births maybe costing around 150.000 pesos total by now to people who are not even related to me.
I help them. Do you get asked to help pay for births of persons you know or do not know in America?
Philippine persons expect allot from foreigners over here but we are not doing that to persons over there when they visit in America.
You should be happy that sooner or later when the time is right you can petition your family over there.
I have many Filipino friends who can admit and be honest that they marry for the greener pastures and tell me that if I am told any different from other Filipino's who marry outside of their own race it is for the same reasons why they did the same and but are to ashamed to admit it.
The women here do it to Philippine men as well but the style is to court and the woman does not plan against becoming pregnant and does not tell her partner she is not taking precautions then the woman ends up pregnant and the Filipino man fears the parents and is there fore forced to get married to her.
Thats another way how women think they secure support by forcing a marriage do to pregnancy here. Just so they have a means of support to me that a cheap and desperate shot and I think there should be a fine for woman who do not take birth control seriously and do not discuss the chances of getting pregnant and warning the man as it is the woman who must present herself from becoming pregnant.

Happy a woman does not need a man to support her in order to be happy. She needs to take pride in herself and prove to herself she can go to work and be with her own people and not have to get married at all.
I see many happy Philippine couples here and I see many who are not so happy and involved with out of the marriage relationships.
I am sure your husband wouldn't mind staying here with you in the Philippines.

I am doing it for my step kids and my husband since he is a deck officer merchant marine and does not make near to what your husband is making but am happy.

Do not take my messages personally its just how foreigners see the situation also.

I also notice that the Filipino Marries someone much older then them?

So maybe once the old spouse dies off then the citizen ship is attained already and you have his pension for a short term marriage and can marry another as your still young and full of energy.
Six years ago I did not see this many mixxed couples as I see today here but many meet on the internet and the Filipino happily tugs and pulls along by her boyfriend or husbands fingers instructing him on what she wants him to buy for her.
He looks at me like as if saying "Jesus Christ!"
I just smile and laugh, I am use to seeing that scene here many times over and over.
Once she starts asking for that family of hers to eat a sack of rice paid for by him he starts to bail and it's no deal for a marriage.
Its a warning sign to him that his pocketbook will be drained on her family and kin.
Thats society today.
I'm not making it up I am told by the guys themselves who come here and and if single they have five women tugging on their sleeves at once, like shark after its kill! (LOL)
Happy you can divorce him as he is a foreigner if you that unhappy no one forced you to get married outside your race or country.
If you married you Filipino here and grew apart then your stuck as there is no divorce law but have instead annulment.
There are ways to make your unhappy happy your not in a bad position and I am sure your husband is a great guy.
For me American men are hard to get along with ...he he he he!
Bottom line is do not marry some one for financial positioning merry for love and compliment.
Make it work out so your both happy.Women need not force men into unplanned situations just to merry for the security of her life.
Woman are just as liberated and can go to work and carry their own load and not need to put up with a man.
Happy I want you Happy! :)

First off apologies to the artist, as I was not aware she was sharing her own works.
You took what I had said wrong when I said boring leaves as it would be nice to see who we are talking with as it is interesting and nice to see new people.
I thought she was the kind of person who is ashamed to show herself off. It was not to be taken either defensively or as an insult. Appreciate the pictures you showed, and the cat looks totally loved and spoiled.

Yes I am some what of an artist (not a pro). I enjoy watercolors scenes captured from off of the west coast near to fishing canneries where we process seafoods straight from the ocean.
Where the boats and their fishing nets are tethered into their moorings along side their (slips) berths.

Where did you learn your lovely talents ms. da binsi here in Philippines or at community arts classes offered abroad? My father tried oils and loved it but his passion was watercolors as well.
I also was into ceramics and glazing and into inventing different combination of different colors for kiln firing to make my ceramic utensils more appealing.

Other then ceramics and other art's I had taken several photography classes on how to develop negatives and turn them into actual developed pictures.
Yearbook class was an honor to take part in it and design many kinds of different graphics before PC 's became popular.
Ms da binsi I have friends who are registered in the Dakota tribes of Chippewa is that your place of residency in Dakota?
I am from the west coast near to Seattle and Portland Oregon.

I seen in here where many said Philippine persons are loving but why is it my Philippine God daughters step parents do not want her living with them? :O (on both sides)
To me that is not loving it breaks her heart and she is a bright and beautiful child and first honor as well at the age of eight.
If philippine persons are tight knit then why do you have so many unwanted street children here?
In the states if you have previous children from another marriage or relationship and you remarry the spouse is often happy to accept the new children as well and at times will adopt them and change the child into their name.
Here in Philippines its not the same way as I see it all the time.(most Philippine women tell me I am to kind in helping out with the unwanted child and that I am very caring to my Philippine husbands children.)
I spent much time at the cemetery this week and watched many loving Philippine persons litering on other graves and and urinating on them as well? :O
That's class!
If loving why did they not bring bags to put their trash into instead of making the cemetery into a gabage dump? In the states garbage pails are available for such popular attended to events but often overlow but normally we will pack our garbage out with us when the event is finished and find a proper place to put it.
Please keep in mind no one is perfect not everyone is totally loving all of the time and it's been proven in here many times already.

Feliz Navidad! NOEL! HAPPY HANNAKUH! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPIEST OF HOLIDAYS!
Malaygayang Pasko! (spelling?) Have a safe holiday season to all! :)

Despite the not so well things going on in here in Bohol itself It's still easy to share in a great amount of sense of humor with a majority of persons here.

In an average day I can make just about everyone I meet in person put out a great burst of laughter.

As for closing the malls early here last night the malls closed at 6:30 o'clock PM due to a lack of customers.
The normal hour to close is 9:00 0'clock PM.
ICM has allot of corporate restaurants to eat at and they are busy, as well as their grocery store.
Its the department stores that are not busy as they should be this time of year.

The owner of ICM is a friend of mine and has always friendly my friendly and lingaw personality and often have judged there as I'm a non biased person and judge fairly with giving scores that are complimenting.
I have noticed on this TB that you all ignore me if my comments are great and informational, but other post are short and meant for other persons and off track from what is being posted. Like what I am doing right now.
Makes one wonder if your all competing for a popular Filipino contest.
Your eyes and ears are not deaf to the real world I do not get offended if you talk badly about my native country in here.
You guys do it enough with out even knowing your doing in it in derogatory sense.
I catch your drift in here and I am perceptive as well to the general message.
In my country we call it CLIQUE.
Pak me when I am right and informative do not toink me if your personally taking out things on me.
You do not do it to your fellow TB Filipino members in here and they have said annoying things at times but why toink only me only?

I was reminded by Lorenzo we have a right to freedom of speech and expression.

grazie7y........He he he plse let me know if it is safe any where in this world anymore other then being put six feet under.....(LOL)!

This Island is becoming highly infested with rebels this past few months the highways are not so safe to travel on not like before.

The police in the interior region are busy with almost daily training techniques and conducting many daily and nightly patrols looking for any signs of trouble from these persons.

The province is having a hard time of issuing fire arms still too many police who are newly assigned to patrol the five interior towns due to no more being available until region seven is able to hand over more equipments for the police to help in combating these horrible persons.

The tourist are a big attraction to them and tourist are like magnets to them as more tourist come in then more rebels come in as well.

Scary indeed.
#1513
Good not God. sorry!
#1514
Good write up and I hate to see good friends fighting and becoming enemies as Monton use to attend boxxing events wit Dan Lim before.
I hope things get cleared and cooled off so friendship can grow back together.

The city councilors are greenhorns some of them but it does not mean they just fell off the camote truck yesterday.

Even one god radio show commentator here was victimised for trying to expose what had taken place.
As some of his advertisers pulled of from his program which was awarded last year for best radio talk show......"PULSO"

Talk of the Town / Re: Judge sacked for immorality
November 04, 2007, 12:37:47 AM
This kind of thing has been going on for years. It happens in every country and almost every county court system. Even city councilors and persons in the higher senate and congress in the United States have a tendency to misbehave in front of others.
yet they pass laws and bust other persons for doing the same bad behavior I would call it "Double Standards".
Look at Catholic priests who are Representatives of God and try to preach immorality and at the same time they are being pedophile towards children?
It's getting pretty creepy out here when you can not trust persons such as the one's mentioned above.
It makes example setting hard to teach to the youngsters especially when they see how people in the higher respected positions are behaving so poorly. "TOINKS"!
#1516
"Statement">>>>>>>>>>>>>>(he he he I need to not drink Pale Pilsen when writing in Tubag!) Just joking!
Srry for the typos.
#1517
Correction to the above stement.

Last sentence should read; "I have also seen many new and locally owned resorts sprouting up everywhere in the past two or three years."
#1518
Since this topic was posted I would have to pretty much say that Bohol is already accepting International tourist straight from Korea to the Tagbilaran city domestic airport.
So would this not be considered already international?
Why just allow one country to be able to fly directly in here to Bohol it does not seem fair just to allow one country when other tourist from Australia, Europe, and Germany come here as well.
The airport facility is already becoming expanded and they already built a very modern and up to date new control tower recently.
It's great the tourist are comming here as they are now.
Panglao is not the only place to travel too here in Bohol.
There are many naturally and beautifuler and wonderfull sights to see in Bohol.
Why limit the tourist and concentrate them to one area of Bohol?
Tagbilaran City Airport is a good jump off place and allows the tourist a choice of where to head off too instead of being taken to a resort automatically in Panglao.
I have also many new and locally owned resorts sprouting up everywhere in the past two or three years.
I am to the point of saying keep it the way it is.

#1519
My publisher from my newspaper here in Bohol has asked me to follow up and keep this column on going about the twin rape case that happend that involved four employees of the school.
He asked me why do I have an interest in making this one a concentrated topic? I replied that I also was a rape victim in my younger years as I was against five guys.
Several people came to my rescue and I want to share to others that this is a real issue and the proper way how these girls should be helped.
Is to get the attention of the community to be aware and put pressure on the administration and other school employees to suspend the four employees who are involved get them out and away from possibly endangering more young lady students.
After all it's been one month since the case was filed and nothing been done.
The victims come from very poor families. I was able to go to their homes and visit with them and their parents.
I have been able to converse with many teachers who are good at their job but fear being fired if I reveal where my resources are coming from.
I want to protect the teachers as well.
It was a teacher related to a colleague friend of mine in the local media who made us aware of what was taking place to begin with.
A big majority of the teachers who know about it do not want the employees related to the school anymore they are saddened and do not want the school to have a bad name for what has taken place.
The school is Cecelia Putong National high School.
After my hard hitting column came out concerning the matter several media men including senior writer Kit Bagaipo who had also text me and told me great job and very explosive!
My column is not posted on the newspaper's website or I would have been more then happy to have posted my column up the details.
I will just do my best to keep all of you up dated as I like to stay in line to what the topic being posted is all about.
I am not into chikka (Gossip) or telling of a fantasy that is not true. I write on experience and conviction from my heart.
My God is watching me always.
Take care!
Happy Weekend All!

Lets just say and and be fair to everyone who wins achievements and honors in the service as we have many unsung heroes who have never been recognized out on the real battle feeds.
Many philippine soldiers and soldiers just about every where have sporting competitions for speed agility, and how to think fast.
many are not heard about who are also high achievers as well in performance.
I say as I have said it before I salute all good soldiers all over the world no matter what flag they are fighting under but they are fighting the rights for the world not just for their own country.
Specail pak pak pak to all who serve the world into trying to make it a better place.

Also they sell Belgium sweet bread and individual sourdough French rolls the taste is always right and the recipes is very consistant.
Hope you can try it out some day and let me know how you liked it.
Thank you will for your interest.

Im on leave.

lumine- sorry as I have mentioned several times the write up is not available for posting. It was only in newspaper print.
Thank you for the times when your good to me and trying to understand me.

grazie 7y- I have decided not to say anything else regarding to whats going on here as I am accused of being a gossip. Why should I even try it was not appreciated to begin with.

To all my real friends who know the real me in person from the Media/BTMA may you all have yourselves a Happy all Souls and saints Day!

Those abraod "TRICK OR TREAT"

#1523
I am officially ignoring you all. I do not have time to waste my positive energy on people who are biased as you have all been towards me.
You do not know me to judge me.

You do not pay my bills I pay my own so you are nothing to me but ignorant words.

My kids are born from cruel Philippine persons who do not want them so I am the one raising four as I love them and no one in their right mind would do that to their own kids.(Only Philippines)
My aunt was correct in what she said about me coming here. I argued with her that people from here are so nice (read choke)apparently it appears as if I have been made a liar of what I said to her what would you call it.

let's face are there any nice persons anywhere anymore?

I will go to another web site and stop promoting this one, this one can stay with the you mean persons.

It's gotten out of control since Mike is not moderating it, and since his father has passed on a couple of days ago and we are friends and write in the same paper here I do not want to continue being bashed by persons I have defended for years. The language and manners in her by the International moderators is filthy and Mike is to sweet and does not deserve that kind of trash being put in his web site. So I know how to respect and you guys can have your web site cult what have you not. Leave me out untill you can have the decency to be good to all.
Many friends back home asked me why am I coming here, I have my family here.

Remember beauty is skin deep and they say always say BOHOLana Beauty?

I have yet to see sincere Boholana beauty? Looy!

As I said I am wasting my time. I have other friends inviting me to join other sites.

You guys do not deserve my concern and care any longer, and those of you in BTMA here thank you for not putting me down as you know I am jolly and sweet.

#1524
Why do I bother to say anything I am wasting my good time efforts and breath to persons who just want to act high schoolish in here.

I grew up a long time ago. I do not have time for your young minds as Lorenzo said we have a right to exercise our words and freedom of speech.

Too bad so sad as you can not please everyone.

Yes' in America we work at our jobs we do not sit around passing the buck as we text to our friends. We didn't do it 6 years ago that I am aware of.

Yes' most countries open their arm's to let you Philippine persons provide a better way of life and you should all be thankfull as well that anyone cares about you.

many times we see on our front page news papers pictures from Philippines showwing of our American flag burning and the men who tell me are the one's who helped this country years ago while in the service.
They are disgusted to see such behavior and they are the same one's who are in favor of immigration control and Homeland security.
So let's not get to high and mighty and you say your all polite? Thats a real shock as lately you would think there is a sale on KOTEX in here by how you all act.
So rightly said I will pat myself on the back.

GMA pulls philippine troops out of the terrorist zone but when the Philippine person is in the American army and wins an award he is just another feather in the cap?

It's a bigger deal then that to receive any award or metals while in the service. He is not the only person whether black, brown or white or what ever flag he hails from  that fights in the service for the rights of all or wins a metal.

I think and feel all service men regardless of their background roots  or if they are proving for a metal or no metal and who also fights wars for our freedom and rights is a hero in my eyes every day of the year.

Military should not be treated as an biased issue as the men who fight are fighting for the best of everyone else.

I helped donate time and materials to build the reservist base here in Bohol as a foreign foundation member did I ask or receive a metal for it? Our pride was good enough for the warm reception we always were given here.

I was also the first foreign (WOMAN) army foundation member to help the military in the foundation here in Bohol.

The point here is many persons do many good things that do not require metals to get the god deed accomplished..

If you need proof my name is is in brass mounted on marble near to the grandstand that the Americans funded as well as other projects of construction in the camp.

No matter what our flag is that we are born under we are all worthy of acomplishing good thigs for all.

Many have also died for our freedom let's not forget them the most.

You want to know why there are no story post ups (It's being kept a secret with tax paying dollars)

This issue was aired three weeks ago about four public school employees over a world wide radio and web site on a very late radio show.(DYRD RADIO with Rey Blanco)
I really thought your all in tune as to what type of things are going on in your home away from home.

I am doing my best to keep you informed since no one was able to put it into print media but me ,and yes I have investigated the case and it came out in my column in the newspaper that i write for as no other media facilities would touch it because of some of them are having relatives working At the place where it happened. So they told me what has happend and I did investigate which involved plenty of Field work. I had interviews with with the school officials, victims and their parents and teacher's who are working there.
here is a summary of what took place;
Two students were raped around 12-15 years old by two school employees while two other school employees looked on through the holes in the wall and went out to purchase beer for the suspects as the held their two young victims.
one of the two who raped the girl is an administrative aide and the other one is a utility worker.
The school had gone to the victims house to talk the victims out of filing a case.
To keep it hushed up.
This guy apparently has a lending business for the teacher's inside the school and charges the teachers 10%
Until now the employees are still reporting daily for work and the case and medical records are filed in the courts. Why is this that the principal not put the employees under suspension while pending investigation.
This double rape case took place at the same time same school and same sleeping quarters on campus of the school.
There are no other write ups done on it as it was just exposed with in the last couple of days.
You all know if it happens in a public school back in the states the principal and administrator will suspend everyone involved.
Maybe in this country it is seen as okay to let the employees keep going to work around minor students even though they have just committed a rape and possibly able to put other students at danger.
The two rape victims both young Boholanas have dropped out of the school as they did not want to go to school where their suspects were still working there right in front of their own eye's.
There was no protection provided to the students from the school either.
When I went to the house of the victims and talked to them and their families you could see it was obvious they were very poor.
You Philippine who are abroad some times forget your roots and how innocent the persons are here.
I have Filipino friends back home who hesitate to come back to the Philippines and they tell me they are ashamed of things going on back home in Philippines once they have a taste of the greener pasture and get used to it.

There is nothing to be ashamed about here. I just agree with the educated philippine persons who work in good jobs here that some people need to have more motivation to do better for themselves.

I am aware of whats going on here because I am living here and if your here with your families you would know there have been many strange uncalled for things going on here that were not happening almost six years ago when I first arrived in Bohol.
I think I have said it well now and have taken the time to let you know the latest sorry for ever caring.

Since i keep you posted on the latest events and attitudes of persons here what can any of you share with me about where my roots come from? (America)
What keeps you busy back where ever you are can you share and compare where you are now verse where you come from in Bohol?
Could you share Ideals or contribute things that will help improve Bohol?
Take care

Do not just read important posts speak out constructively about whats happening in Bohol. It's as if persons are afraid to speak their mind about the bad and wrong things going on.
How do you guys feel that the four employees involved in the school rape of the students while on campus at the same time are not suspended during the case and pending investigation?
They are still reporting to work and being around minor aged students is this not scary to anyone that they are not yet arrested and the case was filed almost one month ago.
In the states they would be picketing/protesting the schools to get these guys suspended until further notice.
Why can not this community do the same here?
Maybe you guys what these guys to attack and make more victims?

As you may know how can they close their door's it is automatic hours and yes i have seen ICM get closed early by the owner Marlito Uy.Especially when it was 50% off day no one was in the store buying. Groceries yes but other household wares not!
The grocery stores is where most of the buying is being done so that is why they do not close their door's are you woman not aware of the malls activities that keep many off the streets in an air conditioned building and some of these events often go on until late.
I see people passing from one end of the mall to the other as if a thorough fare (shortcut).
Even the offices will tell me that they wish the other department stores would pick up better on business.
I wish they would also so that more persons can be hired but maybe your both abroad and not aware of prices that are sky rocketing daily also.
The minimum wage is still being fought here and it is not enough rice is P27.00-P30.00 per kilo most meats are P230 per kilo and you sure can not get enough to barely get a balanced meal 3x daily on the table.
Ms. da binsi please post a photograph of yourself and not some boring leafless tree's that does not show off yourself and your beauty.
thank you!

You is an Americanized PINYANKEE. I have seen it often happen to Philippine persons who are born here and leave for being raised in greener pastures.
I was born in America and I am also a registered Native American Indian. If you know your immigration laws it is not allowed for Americans to apply for a dual citizenship same as Philippine persons have been doing as you said we are a country that does not discriminate. (Accepting many persons into our country to allow them a chance at a better life.
I also pay taxes as well to live here and for the salary earned by my seaman Boholano husband it is expensive what foreigners end up paying for residency here.
It is not so easy to live in the states as some may think we are always paying higher taxes on many things and our country is very disciplined as we respect our laws and other's lives back home as well and not so many are toting guns and shooting people dead as they do here and get away with it back home they will find you as the people do talk.
You will be happy to see big positive changes here when you visit if you ever have time.
Maybe you could connect with people and bring something here that the people could use or need back here in you place.
It is Christams after all and the best gift is to be giving after all to those who are definitely more less unfortunate compared to us, as I have been doing volunteering here as well and contributing to Bohol.
Merry Christmas!
P.S> I love my family and friends here but this place has what I am not raised to do as that is to be discriminate and make it hard for those to get work here.
There are so many talented and educated Philippine person who can not find work once they are graduated from college. Count your blessing your one of the many Philippine persons who was able to get out when you did. Now immigration is tightening up.
If a foreigner wants to be here and does not have a permanant residence visa such as I do he is must pay around $60.00 U.S. dollars to keep getting a monthly reentry.
In America once you pay your visa here your allowed to stay 6 months for allot less money considering the U.S. visitors visa is $100.00 for processing for Philippine persons wanting to visit America.

General Topic / Re: I'll be home for Christmas 2007!
October 29, 2007, 12:15:41 AM
Two years ago I never went home December 2005, the immigration in Manila was processing my passport for permanent residence at that time there was a fire at the INS building in Manila.
December, 12th, 2005 my father gave up his fight with lymphoma cancer, and 0n Dec, 21st, my grandmother also passed on.
I was not able to fly home to be with the family during either funeral has my passport was in the Manila fire and no where at that time to have been found.
I was mad, furious and cussing, as to why this would happen to me?

Maybe it was better I was not there when my dad, and grandmother passed away even tho I am close to both of them. I think it best to remember the times last spent together when they were alive and kicking.

I can not say that I have had many Christmas's when family is not all present, and I am aware of many persons suffering trials in life during the holidays.
Despite all the negative and sadness often that surrounds us during the holidays I know I always try to make the best of it work out to be a really nice time. For many years I have made baked Xmas cookies with American recipe ingredients and my friends and family love them here.
I miss the real smell of real pine Christmas tree's from back home and the malls decorations and the people hustling and bustling. I see plenty persons in the malls here but no one is buying, the life is really hard here and anyone who has the chance to go outside and experience life can see the difference.
Here they have the big beautiful lanterns to hang outside the homes but in America we do not have that.
You have the warm weather to have fun family gatherings filled with mountains of activity here. We are freezing cold and doing our best to stay warm during that time of the year.
Relatives here are happy that their family loved one's come home from oversea's and ask right away always ask "Did you bring my pasalabom he he he!":)
I use to think it means did you bring my bottle of booze so I could pas out of course I was still not so familiar with the dialect back then. He he he he!
I want my mother to come here for her first time but she is scared because of the rebels here and NPA.
I tell her always not to worry that I and my family will look out for her as well as other's.
Hospitality is always the best gift to give to anyone.

Yes. I want to help and have helped but some of the people are not willing to get off their butt's and make a better change let alone make a difference in bettering their lives.
some persons think good life should be handed to them on a silver platter you must work to deserve what you earn in life.
It looks as if your in my home sweet home in the states, why did you not stay in your own country as well?
I am an American with a Philippine Permanant residence is there a problem saying America is my home sweet home or country? Oh it's okay for Filipinos to say it about Bohol when they are outside but not me?
I hear Philippine persons always saying when they are abroad that the Philippines is their home and how much they miss not being home....blah blah blah!
I say something positive and you seem as if offended? Walay Klaro!
Why do you need to know my business of what I am doing here?
You said enough insults about how kids grow up in my country in America, did I question you on it?
Have I ever insulted you in this web site I think not.
Where are you and where am I?
If your in my country in the states I am sure your Happy over there.
I am white my ancestry is English/Scottish, and I am born in the States and I am no different then you I also miss home at times at least you have a BOHOL WESITE TO KEEP YOU WA MINGAW AND OBVIOUSLEY BUSY!

Chrismas is lovely back home in America and mingaw for me here as my mom, and sister and brother's have not seen me for a very long time now.
I miss the types of foods we have back home so nice to eat. the Christmas deserts can not be beat as well. here lechon is at every holiday or birthday and once hurot the guest say bye bye you at Christmas time we normally feast on prime rib instead of our usual turkey bird meals.

We also make specail Christmas drinks like egg nog, hot Tom and Jeryy's, and ppermint alcohol drinks that are made with steamed water.
I am lonely when bakeries here do not make traditional cherry, apple, or pumpkin pies. I am able to make original chocolate fudge at 3x the cost compared to in the states.

When ever I share my recipee's with fellow Filipino friends they go crazy for the flavor of a sweet American flavored dessert!

Actually hate to break the news to you all of you :) the bread of my choice can never be beat here in Tagbilaran.

It is made in a small hole in the wall bakery beside the outside BQ pharmacy on the CPG side of the building the make the tastiest loaf of bread known as the "AMERICAN BREAD". It's texture is soft, it is white bread and taste is perfect.
It really reminds me of the sinfull bread that's so full of starch known as "Wonderbread" in the states.
#1546
oops to be corrected one word is missing is "NOT" and the other is (Not pushed as a whole....)
#1547
Does anyone seem to know too much or does anyone seem to care that much as well.

It has almost been a month since rape cases have been filed against employees involved during a student rape that took place on the grounds of the said high school itself.

one suspect is identifiable as the schools administrative aide.
The other is a utility keeper of the same school.
The other two are also employees of the same public school.

Everyone spoken to points their finger at the principal and that it is her job to take action on immediate suspension pending arrests and investigation. UNTIL NOW THE EMPLOYEES RAPE SUSPECTS ARE STILL WORKING WITH OTHER KIDS AT THE SAME SCHOOL AND PUTTING THEM AT RISK? WALAY KLARO! (THAT's SCAREY)

So many persons were not aware of whats going on as this has been kept pretty much hush-hush. Why has it been hush-hush when it's a public school serving to minor's on your tax dollars?

Why has their not been any public community cries for help and immediate justice for the two school victims from these school employees?

Let me turn this around on  all of you, why are you all so worried about your own safety rather then those of minor's since they are n being of your own daughters that it has happened to you could care less about?

I thought Bohol was a tight knit community?

Why have the schools and the community pushed as a whole to get these employees suspended until further notice?

You as a Catholic community are scared of what might happen to you versus what is happening to your innocent minor's in places that are suppose to be safe for the school children.

People get away with crime here because you allow it to happen because if any of you open your mouths and fight for your right on whats wrong you fear danger happening to yourselves through wrongfull intimidation.

Did God make us that weak to not fight for whats really right?
Didn't he make us strong to know the difference of doing whats right?

Talk of the Town / Re: Are You Scared of Tsunami?
October 28, 2007, 06:17:34 PM
We have every reason to worry about natural dangers no matter how prepared we may be to get away and be safe of them at the same time.
I am not aftraid of natural dangers such as tsunami's I am afraid of persons panicking and actting stupid and there fore getting in the way of other's.
You can never be way too much over planned for any emergency to happen.
Save drinking water up, make a preparedness kit with foods that are ready to eat. also include flashlights,  with extra batteries and a medical kit with important medications that need to be taken.
Only get important birth documents and keep them with you during the emergency to avoid being blown away during the natural emergency.
Designate everyone a certain job to be done while preparing to get away from danger. Be cool and work fast and make a meeting place for all to wait at while waiting out the natural dangers.
Include an evacuation route in your emergency kit as well.

#1552
Some foreigners are in favor of this but I found it to be only in the best interest of the Attorney involved as I have been here long enough and know after the first meeting we had a few weeks ago I can say I am not so interested in it after all.
many things were told to foreigners as they tried recruiting us to make some clan. When we are at the meeting I noticed the persons mentioned were not there and when I asked where are all the things promised to us before hand they told us that they would have to make a proposal and we would need to have at least 10 or more members?
I also found out the persons who are my present conflicts until things are straightend out are relatives to those persons.
Toinks!
I would rather have honest friends then make those who are deceitful behaving.
There was more to it then that and I do not want to belong to a group that seems almost anti Filipino.
I did not have comfortable feelings at the meeting but some foreigners have not been around here long enough to know the difference.
What other country has a foreign protection organization operated by engineers and attorneys?
This group included things such as going after Filipinos who borrow from Foreigners and do not pay back what they borrowed in the long run.
Bottom line there for everyone just be honest, and do what is right, and treat everyon no matter what the race, color, or religion or wealth or riches may be.
Remember a golden heart is a forever heart!

Update:
I was so messed up with emotion last week after having been through what I had experienced.
To make a long story short Last Friday i was called two times by owner/writer Boy GuingGuing to make an appearance at his office of "The Sunday Post".
That afternoon I had learned that the person I am referring to had submitted names to a particular head of a large project. On the list were names of media persons who should of received monies from this person in charge of the project.
The media man in charge of giving the names apparently did not give all the monies to everyone on the list as he was entrusted to do by the supervisor of the large product.
The person being victimized I will not reveal his name or his media outlet as it is probably part of the investigation that BGlante wants to force the BTMA heads to probe an investigation on.
I am receiving many apologies for what has taken place from some of the highest and most powerfull media persons here in Bohol. As I am innocent to the person I am referring to and about his track record as well as his background in having burnt bridges behind him.
My publisher is still being lovely regarding this situation as it is a private situation between two colleagues. I wanted to dive into the topic so bad on my return column in last Sundays paper but i felt it would be so unfair to drag out readers into our problem here.
I just went back into writing as shaken up as I was and wrote as if nothing had taken place.
I managed to get the column and the specail write up page done with some error's and emotional set backs with added difficulties, the errors were spotted and corrected and It still came out with other error's and even my name was spelled wrong on the specail story write up I had done.
This situation has been embarrassing to the media for some time and a few months back Lito Responte had asked me to make a file against the one I was having difficulties with.
I do not like to stir trouble such s this kind but when some one is not after their own interest and humiliates you in front of other's and ignores you when you want help then this person wants to be be all sweet only when he wants something once he gets what he wants then He disregards to you as if your nothing but garbage.
I was not aware of BGlante column coming out in the "Post" in regards to my matter.
It's truly a sick soap opera that humor had to be used when he wrote it.
My mammary glands have not been physically swollen, and I was at home all week and the couple of public appearances i did make it was embarrassing as media persons as well as readers of the paper had come up to me and told me they missed my column.
I kept it cool and positive as I had spoken to the publisher and he was not happy that the colleague of mine had omitted my column with out his knowledge.
My column came back and so has my pride.
My publisher is not taking sides and was telling me things that were nice to hear and that I will keep to myself.
Bglante himself  also offered to help me as his column requested there be an immediate investigation as this person victimizing and abusing me has burnt bridges in other media outlets.
I am not alone.
I am not in this to make enemies but I have tried to be nice about asking to be paid back with out interest but it just does not sink in to this person.
I refuse to sit back and be further abused and having a bitter taste in my mouth when it comes to trusting anyone else again.
May I reccomend that you read "The Sunday Post" issue dated on Oct, 21, 2007 titled: A SCENE STRAIGHT OUT OF A POPULAR "TELENOBELA" written by the owner.
This will make you understand that I am not alone in how I have been made to feel.
I do not like to stir the pot on anything but a lesson needs to be learned some how.

According to local police members who happen to be friends of mine they have complained n the past with Inking he is gutom-Gutom and when Evangelista received funds that were extra he would share it with the other PNP members as an incentive where as to Inking does not?
This is why we now have some not so happy attitudes with in the police forces now a days here.
Even if the incentive was in a simple form of a Lechon baboy but the Boys would always have something to look forward too after going the extra mile for the province in over time.
It's nice to be rewarded for going the extra mile. :)

We are definitely in crisis here as a country and a community Island here in Bohol.
We have a higher increase in student drop outs because of too many projects given and not enough budget to keep up with the projects and put the rice on the table at the same time.
Many family are lucky if they have at least one meal a day.
There are too many poor persons here who are not even able to fend for their own medication costs or surgical expenses.
I am aware of a few charity places where one who is better off then the most poor persons can chip in and adopt a charity patient and give them a better chance at life.
I currently have a friend from the states who sells realestate back home and when he is here he is taking money out of his pockets with the goodness of his heart no questions asked and adopting patients to help out.
Do not look down at others when your doing better just be cool and always give good advice and be a good listeners maybe you know how to help the person climb up and feel better with life also.

Thank you ladies for the feedback,

I am an American living here with a permanent residence visa. I have lived here in Bohol since 2002 until present.
I enjoy writing and being able to learn from experiences as well as make friends and enjoy what i do from my heart.
I am happy so far to announce that according to my very kind publisher I will remain with the column and what ever other write ups I am able to write and get approved through the kind discretion of my publisher.
My interest is to position the newspaper in a better spot then what it has been dragged down to being in.
I am not going to reveal what i know but what I can say is as well as the support from my other colleagues from the other media outlets I also have their side as the one victimizing me is also victimizing others from the more popular newspapers that have pioneered here from the beginning.
So as you can see I am not alone.
I do really and truly admire the positive support from all of you and I most hope certainly what has happened to me will not happen to any of you.
No matter how much you think you trust someone there is always the open door for you to have your trust betrayed over someones selfish, greedy, inappreciable way.
Unfortunately I have to say to all friends and readers of this experience is fight fr what rights and to keep vigilant of all things going on with you and around you.

I talked again with Mike he is still in Cebu and said so far he was storing up enough blood plus had other persons on stand by for him to donate for his father also.
I am also an A+ and let him know that what ever there was that I could do for him that I was only a text away.
Ugma arrow-arrow Mikes dad Will have surgery and Mike was saying they will take tissue parts to determine if there is a malign-et cancer or to see how far it has traveled.
The most important thing to do when a relative or loved one has a serious illness is to make sure that their is a structure of peace amongst friends and family in in presence of the patient who is not feeling well.
Give your moral support as well as asking for God and Jesus to look over the situations.
Its your environment and your surroundings that are what really count in making time pass by pleasantly. Would love to see messages and not just views here.
Mike also appreciates his friends many good thoughts and prayers going out to his dad and family at this time.

it's best to go by both choices. People should know and learn by how you feel or think so as not to repeat something that might be offending to them or you to begin with.

Some people I would say most do not like or can not handle the truth.

You must be sincere in pleasing others and sincere in telling what is honest and truthfull.

I would rather be direct and have some one be direct to me as well.

I am not into BS or games.

Nor do I want to hurt people, it has allot to do with manners.

Crazy I am amazed that one GM reporter from a local radio station can read cell phone text messages over the radio to his listener's with out verifying if it is true first.
Some simple advice to radio announcers and media verify your facts first before the public should be informed.

What was reported over one of Tagbilarans radio stations went something like this:

"This is an advisory from the Philippine National Police.
If you are driving on a Friday or Saturday night and you happen to see a car coming at you on the opposite side of the road with out lights, do not flash your lights at them? they are members of the blood gang.
Do not flash your lights at them or highbeam them as they are known to come after the car that does that to them chase it down and shoot and kill everyone in the car to complete their mission."

I can see why I am getting home sick as each day goes by with the @*%* that just keeps getting more uglier and deeper?

I hope this radio announcer can come up with more information and confirm if it is true or not?

It's no longer at a comfortable state of being on this Island anymore then compared to five years ago.

If anyone has heard anything else in regards to this matter please keep us updated.
Thank You!

Especially for my faithfull Reader's and our media Friends.

Okay friends especially those in media..........

I would rather you hear straight from the horses mouth.
I was rather appalled /Mystified/hurt as well as my children and family that my column was missing out of yesterday's paper.(Not at all surprised)
My friendship with my publisher is great, he always has compliments that are very positive and encouraging for me.
I am not paid to write in the newspaper that I write for. I have income every month from the states and from the children's father.
It was my choice not to take a salary simply for the number one reason being that I asked my publisher not to take away work compensation to Boholanos who simply need the money in their own country, and that I also love to write and learn and just be able to entertain all kinds of people who I really love.
I was told that if I was to get advertisement for the paper that I would receive a commission.
Some one on the inside has borrowed approximately in the area of over P40.000.
The last time I had intrusted money to this person was done in the witness of my long time helper and friend and my daughter at the BQ foodcourt. The money was P8 thousand and it was to go as part of a down payment to be in partnership for hosting a BCCTV program about Bohol.
I had gone to BCCT to inquire about this and the person I spoke with had no ideal what was going on with me.
I also showed the promissory note that if the program was not rewarded that I would of been paid back by a certain date.
I am sure we are now two months past our date of his promise.
I have never been compensated one piso back, and when I do ask I am talked to as if I am the worst person in the world and that I am a foreigner that we owe it to Philippine persons.
The previous other times and excuses were when he borrowed was that he had many excuses such as he was not able to pay his rent, he had a sick relative in the hospital needing help and most of this was during election time.
When the money was flowing n good to this person I was lucky at times that he would edit my write ups or works.
In this situation I wanted to trust him as a coworker and friend.
Then the complaints started to come in such as "I am getting a headache in editing this work and my small salary is not enough".
Doing his usual hinting that of wanted more money.
Last Sunday I had done a column on "Crab Mentality" my publisher had done the editing himself with a fine comb.
There was one word being questioned the word was "ail" all other words had been properly used and spelled.
Atty. wrote "Print it" in big letter's on the bottom of the column.
How odd when it comes out in print it looks as if tampered with to set me up as looking like some idiot.
Even the "C" was missing in the title?
IS should of been HIS that kind of error. I stopped entrusting Piso to this person and the column and write ups just kept on getting worse. (Refused to edit unless I would give him money)
Some mistakes I can honestly say were mine.
During last weekends operation of putting our paper together this person had gotten emotional on me and accused me of being just a columnist and that he was losing since I had come along?
He was losing? What nerve how ungrateful this person was to say this to me after all that he had taken and never paid me back.
My reaction was that I had slammed my fist hard on the desk in front of him and said "Your losing? What about the P40.thousand and add some you never paid me back your an ungrateful ***#@&&%".
My youngest was with me at the time she is eight and she is smart.
I went to my publisher's office on my own and explained what had gone on. I am not one to rat I normally can tolerate a high level of patience when it comes to dealing with certain types of persons.
I was told things in confidential from my publisher but it was things he had told me before and things I have heard before from others as well. God only knows why I defended this person always then he is so plastic.
My publisher was not to happy when I told him my work is not getting edited because of my not entrusting money to this person any more.
I had also mentioned that the person also insulted him in a column last week. My publisher grabbed the paper really fast and read what had been written about him?
He was then called to the office of publisher and was asked about the comment in the previous weeks column and went on to tell him he would not tolerate such.
My 8 years old daughter muttered "SIP SIP" under her breath as he excused himself out of the office, my publisher just smiled as if she is right.
The publisher was not happy about being insulted in his paper by some one whom he is trying to help.
After editing my column I took it up stairs to the office with my publishers instructions written on it to "Print It".
The next day when in print it has about 3-4 error's?
My microsoft words would of detected such poor grammer, the publisher was great in looking for any possible error's. (What's happening?)
Anyways besides write ups you have seen me being active in going to events taking down notes and taking many pictures.
This is my hobby here you guy's.
It should be fun, and rewarding in getting to meet all kinds of nice people and make some of the sweetest friends.
This past couple of months I am not happy because of the stress given to me of this person always wanting money-money-money? (ABBA).
I had emailed my column telling about last Monday's hail experience. My column was not printed of all the columns?
My publisher did not mention to me that it was going to be discontinued. in fact he gave me permission to make a specail story about an American friend here who is helping a serious heart patient just from the goodness of his own pocket.
Did I mention one day last week this person who is behaving so ungrateful towards me asked me if I would pay his P4 thousand over phone bill and and have it reactivated?
I'm not tollerating anymore nonsense and my attitude has changed for this reason.
Why should I be so kind and do so many good deeds for people who just treat me terribly in the long run?
I was told "GOD" knows who is good and who is doing bad, and he has a way in dealing with both.

I am sorry you have read this and I am sorry for ever trusting people too much in this sittuation.

I love you all and that is why I want to inform you on what is going on.

I personally felt when looking at my newspaper yesterday that a big part of my life that makes me happy had been stripped away from me?

I am an open person, feel free to come up and say hello any time to me. I am so bruised and willing to talk openly about what has happened.
I know it is not because of my goodness for what has happened to me.
It has to do with some ones greedy and selfish ways.
Take care! :'(

Talk of the Town / Re: AIDS in Bohol?
October 14, 2007, 04:07:25 PM
Let's face it most Philippine persons while engaging in sex do not use any form of protection as a condom may be to shamefull to but as your worried about what other's may be thinking?
look at the population growth here.
WOW!
Philippines as well as the rest of world better get a wake up call on over aides (ing) and over population.
I have lost track of the hospital birth bills I have paid for Philippine persons who do not have a centavo to their name but a basket full of babies instead.
Do not have kids if you do not have money.
Look at your streets is that not enough education in itself?
Be vigilant of aides and over populating.
Resources are small all over this country and keep getting smaller with every baby born here.
Use common sense and take good care of yourself and your community around you.

As posted in The Bohol Standard a weekly publication in Bohol. "Breaking News!"

Acting Mayor Jose Veloso and two councilors saved Tagbilaran City from exclusion from the P50 million windfall that Sen. Miguel "Migz" Zubiri announced last Saturday to be distributed to the provincail government and  47 towns in Bohol.

Their representation secured for the city hall P2 million from the Mindanao senator who announced in the grand cooperative gathering at the Bohol Cultural center to give P3 million to the provincial government and 1 million to each of the 47 towns.

For unknown reason, Zubiri did not mention Tagbilaran City in his speech there.
Vice Mayor Veloso, who has acted as mayor since the other Friday on account of Mayor Dan Lim's travel abroad, and Councilors Edgar Kapirig and Bebiano Inting thus dashed to theMetro Centre where the senator met with the local press after his applauded appearance at the cultural center.

There Kapirig and Inting of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) cooperative committee joined Zubiri, Cooperative Development Authority Chairperson Lecira Juarez and the cooperative leaders in Bohol in discussing the proposed amendments to Republic Act 6938, otherwise known as the Cooperative Code of the Philippines. Zubiri chairs the senate cooperative Committee.

The acting mayor members of the SP and other city officials already scheduled in the morning of the same day a clean-up at the Mabaw Reef, which is declared a marine sanctuary and eco-tourism seawater, off Ubujuan and Taloto.

City hall as yet to identify the project to be funded out of Zubiri's P2 million, which now forms part of the senator's P52 million total reward (Including the P1 million for each 47 towns and P3 million for capitol) for placing fourth in Bohol in the May 14 electionfor senators.

While many attributed the "sudden inclusion" of P2 million for the city in the senator's "Payback package" for Bohol to the representation of Veloso bolstered by the presence of the two councilors, that Zubiri is also a close friend of the vice mayor's brother named Dominic.

Philippine Business News / Foreigner protection Plan
October 14, 2007, 02:46:00 PM
In recent meetings this week with PSSUP Edgardo Inking and other PNP members had discussed that foreigners coming here to the now getting ever more popular Island of Bohol would receive an extra vigilance and protection while enjoying here in Bohol.
With the increasing rate of crimes in the Province of Bohol and with in it's towns and city the need was felt necessary to beef up on protecting of our international visitors coming here.
It was also mentioned any foreigner who felt that if he or she is at danger while visiting here of maybe being threatend by other's then what the foreigner must do as explained by the provincail PNP must blotter any dangerous, or criminalised harm that has been done unto them.
The case will be reviewed by the chief's and if the foreigner request he will be provided with a police protection escort as his right to avoid any danger from threats or other criminalised life threatening matter's.
The police escort will go to anywhere the tourist will be going to as if his own personal bodyguard service.
Foreigners arriving here look tempting to Philippine people who are hard up and desperate in times of crisis.

Do you supply the needed oils and lotions?
Male/Male

Male/Female
I am aware that persons coming from Manila mostley men prefer to have females massage them.
I do not see any problem with it just so long as you keep it clean.
Good Luck with getting clients. :)

Not sure if it is still refereed to as big bug, but rumor has it I have heard they are still trying to make a stab at it.
I think if it went through it would be a great asset to the Boholano persons who need an organized and fun outlet.
Kids these days have nothing to do but just text, and join gangs, attend schools, and loiter at the malls under the aircon.
I hope the plan does come through some day.

The one who won the prize should be exempted as she is not even old enough to work to pay the Taxes or is she old enough to be legally licensed to drive.
4th grade is a bit to young to be winning a car.
Let her opt for a Barbie doll and have a redraw for an adult who really is old enough and responsible enough to own and win the car.

He he he he!
oh man you should live with in ears view of ICM when they have their concerts with screaming bands it's enough  screech the socks of your feet and make your hair stand on air as your trying to sleep at 1am and they are wailing away at it.
I do agree there are some good talented bands here locally and people should enjoy the short life thats given to us and get out and enjoy the talents of Boholanos who enjoy to entertain.
If you get out and enjoy remember it will help keep you looking and feeling younger.
Have fun and get out and enjoy your local talents.

What I find truly a farce is the automatic service charge on corporations from the states that we are not expected to give tips at as it is a choice and the establishment is considered a fast food establishment to begin with
I am appalled by PIZZA HUT in their automatic service charge when the corporation is not doing that back home
I feel along with many other's that a tip is an reward for a service that has gone out of their way to make you happy, comfortable, and satisfying your every needs
I have also noticed persons here are not into tipping but they want allot for nothing as I have witnesses very bossy and demanding want to be served first customers who take away from other customers or who cut in front of others to be served with out waiting
I am beginning to think I am the one and the few to leave a tip after being served whether it was good or bad service since most of the boss's around here do not pay enough of the salary as it is
I am also opposed of the establishments who take the tips of the worker and put them into an end of the month cash pool
What's earned or complimented to the server should be all his to keep as it was his customer to begin with
I do not think evat should be imposed on raw foods, parishables, or grocery items that are either farm grown or agriculture products of it's kind.or any groceries that are not prepared
Food is a necessity not a luxury it is a consumable luxury if taking in a meal at a restaurant establishment where the food is prepared on sight
In most places in the states there are not any taxes set on grocery items

What a surprize got you for media members uninformed of the last BTMA meeting?

Whom ever is in charge of notifying BTMA members of meetings should do a better job as not all members are being fairly notified. ;)
This seems to be a current habit not a first time too happen.

Talk of the Town / Re: Loose Firearms in Panglao
October 02, 2007, 02:33:06 AM
Okay I am getting confussed is it security guards or body guards?

okay one week they are appraised the next week condemned you people never stop to amaze me?

If you busy bodies could count the numerous unregistered handlers of firearms here you might or could be truly amazed indeed!

I seen plenty of bodyguards for the candidates in the last election and seen many arms tucked away in the brown paunches of plenty.
When I had asked them where was their permit to carry about 4 out of 10 were able to produce a permit and registration.
Dumaluan is related to my kids but that still does not make it right.
I am frankly tired of everyone going after the guy?
Anytime I see him he always tells me I am noisy and laughs and gives me a friendly hello!(At least he is honest! he! he! he!)

My attorney for my step daughters adoption never materialized because he was one of the council members chasing after Dumaluan last year.

There are so many other important matters to go after leave the guy alone enough is enough!

Were the guys practice shooting?

Also plenty of politicians and army men take up practice shooting in wooded areas or cleared away areas.
I think there is more to the story then what is being told?

Come on Bohol find other stuff to pick on about.

Mabuhay!
Soon an office for foreign tourist will open to give them a helping hand, whether they are visiting here or domesticated here just in Bohol.
Right now the Committee has some pretty strong political back up and support if all things go as planned.

The committee is working on setting their first meeting to form the first pioneer members of the groups organization.
Foreigners coming here or staying here would be able to access many hotlines for the immigration (INS), Foreign Embassies, and assistance with the local PNP.

There are plans to make this office the local comfort and safe zone for Internationals arriving and staying here.
Some of the local foreigners living here have felt that it is high time to make such an organization to look after more carefully and closely to the outside guest coming into the province of Bohol.

The office will also have an legal attorney to help assist foreigners with any confussing legal matters.

I will do my best to keep you all up to date of the latest happenings with the organizers plans. :)

It comes from influences generated by outside the family in most cases. I am experienced as a surrogate parent. No matter how good you are to your kids there are always outside influences to get in the way.
I am aware of these gangs as I have Philippine children whom I dearly love and they come home after school tired and telling tales from new students transferring into their private schools because the parents have pulled them out of a bad learning environment with all the gang violence going on with in the public schools here.
Yes the gangs are bad and if i know and see one kid involved I would literally sit on him.
I agree with you Macky It is also do to not enough being organized for the kids to do.
Bohol is nothing compared to the states we have allot more parents who are single parented and raising a kid on their own. Some parents are so emotionally down and medicated that they depend on pension checks as they are so mentally out of it and being counseled and medicated is not enough to help the mental sate of the parent so they throw in alcohol and forget all their responsibilities together. (Lack of attention for the kids)
Some parents in the states will also stay at bars all night long and drink beer and play pool or shoot darts all night instead of being home with their kids. (Lack of attention for the kids)

I have sat in elementary class's here in the Tagbilaran because some crab mentality mother accused my god daughter of copying when she is not that kind of child.(She is a first honor student the yr before in Surigao)
I think it's awful some Philippine parents think its neat to bash other parents kids and hurt them instead of disciplining their own what gives them the right to gang up on my kid?
So to some extent it could be parents in that sense.

I believe that this being a third world country there are many parents working over seas and the result being that plenty of kids are being raised by YAYA instead of by mom and dad.  The child sees his parents less and looks at yaya in a not so serious way.
Also when two parents are working to make ends meet it makes it hard to care for a kid as a parent should not leave a minor in the house alone to watch over himself.
I get furious when I see parents here allowing their kids to enjoy in alcohol and tobacco products and let their kids get away with bad mouthing when the parents are doing all they can to provide a good life for their kids.

My mom was a dictator as my father was a whipped puppy by her and my goodness I did not choice my adult life to be like that.
So if trained and teach ed well by their Parents/ teachers the kids as adults can make a good sound choice on how they want their lives to be such as me once they become an adult.

You can not say that 100% is all blamed on the parents what about the teachers I have observed here who do not give many kids a chance here as it is the same muse year after year because mom pays for a tutor even though the student is not fully participating in class.. I have also witnessed while observing a second grade  elementary class a teacher threatening to walk out of the classroom do to the children's constant wild behaviors that she allowed get that far in the first place?
How immature on her part is she not trained to control a class with just six students in it including the owner of the schools grandchild also as a student and he is one of the kids instigating troubles in the class?
You think it's right that we pay and he does not pay tuition and then he is the king instigator and distractor?
Teacher feels that maybe it would be unfair to put that pupil in a lower class rank because of the parents money being spent on the tutor? (AHEM!)

What kind of civic parks and recreation activities are offered here in Tagbilaran for minors of all ages?
What activities and incentives are there for the kids who want to do well or enhance social skills?
Look at the city's leader does not his attitude set an example of poor and negative leadership skills?
Negative! Negative! Negative! :o
As a parent I have to some what disagree with the statement that kids learn from their parents as I have mentioned several factors up above that can also add to a child's more negative influences.
Maybe the parents are to busy playing neighborhood swertes? ;D

Mike what kind of port authority would of allowed this boat to sail as we had been experiencing gale wind forces since yesterday late afternoon?
These passangers and these crew members better be thanking their lucky stars and clovers that they were rescued and not some tragic statistic with Hanna so close any boater knows to take coverage and stay out of dangers way even if you have to find a hurricane hole to borough into to stay safe.
#1580
Mike this is a livelihood here in Bohol its even played all over town near schools and with down town business persons as well as security guards who are posted at local media establishments.
its easy money and good for the lazy.
I'm sure all of us whether we know it are not are connected to those who are Sukey swertres dealers or operators. Almost half the population of Bohol is involved wether they are the operator or the gambler themselves I see it everyday in front of me.
#1581
not sure Mike but i will keep you posted as to when it will be. Dr. Jeff is coordinating it as he is now connected to DYTR radio.
Also we have a couple of other radio personalities from KISS/ DYRD who have joined into DYTR.
I am starting out slow and will be hopefully worked into a program of my own. Lito Responte wants to make sure that before having me on my own show that he approves all the plans formally by letter.
I am raised into the radio business dad has managed them all my life and I use to always help him out other then being in the restaurant business.
Believe Mike this is a kind of business that does not require whether you are talented or not but it does require you to put up with many types of different ego's.
the rule in radio be yourself and do not be nasty on air.

yesterday i had attended the forum on protecting children's rights on health. We had heard from the leading lady from DepEd who is now trying to involve the teaching curriculum of sex education and disease awareness associated with sex issues.
I have been what the Dr's call here the number one fighter of the media to get the subject to be taught in a more wider area of school children in the province.
I am happy that finally almost after two years the school district has decided to take my advice to teach it at a younger age so we can train the youth at a young age to be responsible and act according to what they know about sex and it's diseases and how it can affect one's environment. better to be unblinded versus blinded and sorry later.

yea to the Dep Ed after all my asking and purging about it at forums. ;D

media had actually been taken to this project via a Field trip day including a luncheon and question and answer portion. The lunch was lavish as it had many types of fancy foods for us and then they gave us monies to write up a good song and dance to the expensive project.
My editor was the first one too actually expose the project prior to the orgasmic up roar heaved by the other media persons.
this even had many other media angry as they informed the community about it.
I was asking hairball questions and getting my usual groans and grumps that I normally do from colleagues, but now the media icons of Bohol call me "Precisely" as they know I am the one who gets the hammer to pound in the first nail? Makes me wonder why is it they live here and can not sniff out a bad deal going down before me I wanted the monies itemized what what going where and who was getting generous slices of the pie from the dam work that was already done here in the interior part of the region?
They do not like me to know what i know as i get the facts and not the bull..... that some media persons are putting into print lately.
My advice to media print person get your facts right and spell the names right and correctly of persons whom you write about. PSSUP for example is Rosales not Rosals. I am not going to mention that paper that made such a mistake as the writer here is very much a long time writer here. ;)

Philippine Business News / Re: Another murder in Bohol
September 29, 2007, 08:33:25 PM
Unfortunately there are allot of murders and what are known as homicides going on all around us but not all make it to print.
For example last two weeks ago when I was accompanying the Pssupt on his annual camp cramie inspection for the province we seen a man being detained inside of the city jail of Ubay Bohol he was being held as a possible suspect for rapeing, murdering, and destroying the evidence  by setting the house on fire with her still inside of it.
She was the victim of his bad deeds and she was the sister in law to him at 16 years of age.
the police were awaitting NBI results to an autopsy to be conducted on her body whether her suspect had killed her before or after he burnt down the house? yes it is getting bad here and thats not good.
I have many persons who will email me from my column email address and ask me before they decide to come here is it a safe place as the news that is getting across the oceans it is no longer sounding like the safe place that it use to be? :(
#1585
its easy to get away with crimes here as the criminals have so many rights to be wrong. I often say in these Tubag blogs that there is not enough punishment to fit the crimes.
Even as Bohol becomes popular as a tourist island the government doesn't want to issue out enough arms to help combat crimes due to the no stock for demand of fire arms and proper police equipment needed.
The arms supply is bone dry as the Sierra Dessert.
Tourist look juicy to persons who are in crisis and who at the same time are desperate to get food on the table to help their families.
I see many persons chopping down trees early in the morning so no one can see them as the tree's do not belong to them just to have fire wood to sell for making money for their families.
Look at the small kids not in school and carrying rice guni sacks to fill them up with any kind of recyclable metals and they are trespassing into people yards as they do it and taking what ever they can get their hands on such as chicken fence wire, soda cans, parts of machinery.
The list go on. They will even do it in front of you as you watch them they move fast and scurry under ubi plants to help stay camouflaged and hid. :(
#1586
The fogging was not effective in fact the mosquito's are larger and bite bigger now. They need to fog at least every two to three months to keep it effectively working. You know if it rains after fogging it is pointless and our temperature here in Bohol is always humid and humidity is 85% water weight and then what happens the fogging chemicals are washed away this is why it is needed more so here then then compared to other places that do not have the humidity such as tropical islands.
When fogging is used in countries that are having four seasons it is okay every six months spring and summer time as the cold weather will make them dormant and eventually die out as they thrive on heat and water to breed and hatch their larvae in. :P
#1587
In 1999 the month being a December I had the fortunante opportunity to be hosted by a Philippine friend and his family in Santa cruz and we had experienced a 72 hour brown out complete with a 7.1 magnitude earthquake.
The total loss in the entire region of Luzon was an infant who had lost his life when the cement wall came falling down on him and his crib.
The earthquake (Bigger then this one we had yesterday while we were all sleeping) had caused landslides in Seattle Washington and cracks all over our interstate highways.
This size of earthquake is small and feels lighter then a bodega truck barreling down the road on a lone barangay road full of many pot holes.
If I can recall this is the second earthquake in six months on this island or I might be mistaken?
We are all fine and the newspaper here are not put out into print until Sunday morning and this happened on a Friday morning maybe by tomorrow the local papers will be telling about it.
Also Taiwan is reporting earthquakes lately maybe we are all on the same plates that are shifting down below with in the plumbing system of mother nature.
Maybe she has either ubu or panahote as she maybe showwing symptoms of the weather changes? he he he he! ;D

I am disgusted in how I see hard working house helpers get treated as well as workers here in the Philippines how they are treated with out days off for long periods of time and if they even ask for one thy will be given two as if the owner is mad they even asked for a day off to begin with.
I'm so good to my twice a week helper and laundry lady as i pay them double what is the current rate and my relatives pay way less for more work from her and she is pregnant and lost her husband about five months ago and has almost a family of four to be soon they think paying her P140.00 is sufficient enough including deductions if she has a Dr. appointment for her pregnancy were she may have to leave one or two hours earlier then her normal get out regular time.
Sad fact is that she has worked eight years for my other relatives and to be talk about being tight fisted as they will give money to their 28 years old still at home son who likes to go out and party with the barkada's every night?
Sayong! Thats pathetic as can be.
I treat my workers like family as people should be treated as they help keep my family clean and comfortable at all times.
I hate to watch a general manager from one business take over 200 gallons of fresh water early in the morning from his place of business with out others knowwing about it and then he expesct others to follow the rules at work while he is stealing from the company in the mean time.
The water was being put into five gallon containers and all the containers filled up the back of his small pick up with a long bed at the back.
His house did not have running water as the city line was down from Corella. Would the other employees do that and get away with it?
I often witness philippine persons as very bossy and demanding when they go out to eat, and then it turns up being allot for nothing. Meaning no matter how good the service was they did not bother leave a service tip that is around 11% in the city of Tagbilaran. >:(

We are all aware of Sevilia, Batuan, carmen, Sagbayan, Bilar as being considered all high risk areas located with -in the interior woods and rice patties of the province.
We are also aware of the new movement to add more policemen into these area's recently.
Even though statistically the rebels out number the police men in all mentioned municipal towns mentioned above.
Some PNP are complaining that they are transferred there with out being issued fire arms.
According to the secretary of Pssup Provincial Inking she told me in an interview yesterday that the province is out of short arms but have an ample supply of long arms.
The regional office is the one in charge to supply the province of Bohol with the correct equipment necessary to use in arrest and combat.
With the inspection already completed and the inspectors being aware of the lack of equipment during the annual inspection the regional office should be already processing the needed arms and other equipment needed by the policemen here in Bohol? So regional office you know the interior region is high risk and dangerous with the threats from rebels. Whats the the wait?
I am beginning to wonder if the government wants these men to be dead who are wearing blue and currently on duty with the PNP in the interior region of Bohol as I have said they do not have fire arms is anyone listening out here?
These men are sacrificing time away from their wives, kids, and loved ones for what an government that is not providing the kinds of equipment to fight off the bad guys who threaten the island and what ever inhabitates on it? ???

I was also at the same forum I was the one who asked her to more or Less come up and talk to the media as we always hear from non affected persons I asked why is it that we do not here from a victim for once. I have been to enough of these media forums and I felt with her statements that she was a victim so in a nice way in not being to blunt i suggested for her to go up and talk.
The tell tale signs were there it is called perception.
She was very pretty and she is also a representative of the aides foundation to speak freely to other groups about her condition she has also been able to represent Philippines in the United States of America in Washington D.C. at an aids convention.

Right on target Franklin! Good to see you blogging as I am currently doing.  There was another murder in Dauis this week also. Another cell phone robbery and the guy was stabbed I heard several times or either shot? I have not seen the news myself just hear say.
The person was jogging in the early morning hours. This morning at 0430 am alaylakad will take place for many young students to get out and take a walk as a mandatory assignment for their school on whats is to be a rest day and then on Saturday they had test reviews the schools are hard on the students here. no break often or rest day.
I just wish them all a safe walk in about two hours from now.

I might as well advertise its the only way people know what I have done around here so they they are able to understand me more better. ;D

I am a good person and maybe six years ago I would say that Bohol by far did not have the problems as it does now. it's really true but sad to say. :)

I do not take it sitting down when it comes to persons borrowing funds and not paying it back to me, but if you even try to get your money back from the persons who are asking to begin with they talk back as if your betraying them? :'(

Most people here think that we owe them that money that they borrow from us? Thats another misconception on your persons part here. :o

As far as tirades your incorrect I am being nice and being straight to the point. I am not sensitive as you appear to be as you can not handle any criticism as franklin was correct in mentioning before.
It's not a bad ideal to talk about things with others its how we learn some things in life via networking. ;)

I do not get it you you have even insulted your own people here you have called them gold diggers, ungrateful, and negative things you have said about your place. :-[

To me it sounds double standard? Not all persons fit the names you have described as your kababayans. There are alot of persons who are sweet and do not need to be generically labled as such negative things you have said. :-\

I do not believe that if you was to come back here and you did some marvelous deeds for your people here in the community I am sure you would want some sort of award or recognition for it as the people here are showy and always want popularity to always be at the top or better then the other look at all the ads people buy for recognition of deeds and awards here for services they have done. ;D

So if you did come back here what do you plan to help with in your humble way? :-*

Why not be able if you give a helping hand and go ahead and be proud is that not in your name. proud is a loud name not humble or silent. :)

You mention that you do not want to go to America as your afraid to be treated as a second class citizen but yet you say your humble is not second class humble enough for you? There is nothing wrong with being in any class in America its how you are in life that matters. just be nice to others learn how to accept criticisms, and not take them so personally. :-X

You confuse me in your messages so do not get mad at me if I find you saying one thing and meaning another? ???

Just be direct to the point with out having to sound tough and rough. I hear people put my country down continually but yet my country has given alot at the same time. 8)

I do not get mad at how people think I just give them an alternative way of thinking when I say what makes my country good is what it has done for outside countries who have needed and accepted our aide. ;)

I was even having fund raisers to help out the Philippines when I was back home in the states, have you been able to raise money for helping your country back home here in the Philippines while in the UK? :)

Why be humble instead lend a helping hand your just fortunante because your husband is foreign there are plenty Filipina women who are daily on the interenet here looking for a one way ticket out by getting a greencard via marriage. :-\

All i would like to say if your proud then act as such a way a proud person would be. ;D

Take care "Proud" :) ;D ;)

I had written a column just as the crimes began even was released two days prior to Jack's murder. It had to do with exactly on the same bounds of what Mackey Ferniz stated in his above blog.
The system is screwwed up here. It should not be the victims or the private citizens to press charges and sue the living day lights out of persons who are just evil doers to the law.
In America the state, county, or federal government will be the one's to prosecute and charge the case and also will detain the suspect until trial or a bail has been set.
The suet of the victim or the family comes after the case once they are found guilty.
This is how America has money as crimes done are paid to the criminal justice system and that money is put into public services.
Fixxing roads, posting traffic signs higher salary for police to keep on doing a great job.
Making public more acessable towards handicapped persons to get around in.
Maintaining law and order and keeping electric traffic signals modern and updated.
Helps to keep our parks and lakes clean, and it has more people put to work.
Here? Whats going on? Why is it that our system here in the Philippines be same as that as back in the states?
Here you can get away with murder. Thats why people do it as they know its easy to do and no punishment involved not like back in the states.

please note with in this week another robbery and murder took place in Bohol this time the victim was jogging in Dauis Panglao and apparently was stabbed or shot by his assailant.
The jogger had no funds on him but his cell phone.
Until now the suspect is still at large.
Some foreigners are starting to talk about forming a club that would be open to foreigners and spouses of foreigners to be able to keep up dated on such matters going on and to keep up with one another and to have the crimes translated to us in English as none of the radio stations here have an all English news hour as to whats going on around here.
I feel strongly since this province is becoming more popular with foreigners living and visiting here and we spend allot of our dollars here it would be nice to have an organization to keep the foreigners up to date.

Ha ha ha ha wonder who it was in the forum who answered it correctly? I am not asleep at the wheel of life.
Of coarse I had to ask my parents at the dinner table at the age of 15 years old what is "Oral sex?
"Precisely"

If the boats that these cars came over on have security always then why is it not that these cars serial numbers that are located in the lowwer drivers side window be compared to the serial number of the title and the registration as also the serial number is located inside of the engine area as well?
Why did the ferry system not notice the same thing also that there was an increase in cars coming from Manilla suddenly?
I also noticed that second hand cars were becoming more increasing here?
Im sure the buyyer's are aware of the car's as being stollen.
Why else would they sell for so cheap?

No things here are definitely not better. This country is very much in a crisis. We need a stronger people here to fight for their rights.
We do not need any more lame and listless ducks as these kind of people get nothing accomplished.
I was recently threatend from a wife member of camp dagohoy and SSUP Inking had the person apologize but the way they apologized was through a cell phone?
Crime here is committed easily as the one committing the crime knows the penalty is not stiff enough to fit the crime.
The scenario for me was uncalled for as i was getting a briefing as a favor for Sir Inking and the person in charge of the information has a wife always looking for trouble.
We had burned the CD at the office of the provincial PNP the wife stood outside of the office door with her arm's crossed and giving me and her husband dirty looks .
I went home as soon as I was home the jealous wife text me to ask me what I want with her husband?
Then her husband called me panicking that a gun she had grabbed of his was being pointed at him by her.
I was able to get in touch with SSUP. Inking via my cell phone as he was in Cebu at the time.
I told him what was going on, he was relieved that no one was hurt.
The girl continued to text and threaten me and she was out of line and told me that if I go back to the camp that she would kill me and cut me and put me into a soup?
even she called me names and so on and so forth.
I told SSUP INKING that the wife should have her visiting privileges taken away from her while she's at the camp.
I had my media ID on while at the camp to get the report from the annual inspection.
You talk about a big disrespect to her husband and his work and to the local media,
and all she can do is apologize in a cell phone rather then face me in person.
What kind of punishment is this do you really think the wife will not misbehave again?
I tried my best to be as nice as I could to her during her so called apology.
Its easy to commit or threaten crime here as people here are not severely punished enough for it.
I hope in Maribojoc this case is solved and in the right manner. My sincere condolences to the innocent involved.

I am offended by your knowledge. yes my daughters classmate was just petitioned by her moms half sister.
No I did not say "The Rich and the Famous" please reread since you want to be so defensive of everything.
What kind of a woman who is raised under being a catholic have this hatred that you love to boast about (weird)?
So are you saying that all foreigners abuse and kill and cut up children once they are adopted and brought back to America?
What do you call naked and dirty kids running all over your streets begging for hand outs?
"ProudtobeaBoholana".
My husband is non of your business.
As for the property thing many Philippine persons own nice property and houses and business's in America.
We have what is known as free enterprize. You do not have to be married to that country's person to own the land.
I could imagine if persons from foreign countries could buy land would you not think that big and better jobs could come in so people could have work and a livelihood here in your own country?
The empty lots sitting for sale are no good as they are not producing anything.
Its easy to sit in front of your screen and sound all tough and cheap "Proud" but Franklin has a point? If you did not want to go there then bring your husband to Bohol to live.
Oh yes I am a legal guardian as my husband consented for me to adopt I have the papers that cost me $20.00 American here that is P1000.00
You see my problem is that people here need to be bribed when on the other hand I am following the laws.
I know a guy who adopted two kids under the table and has them now in his country already twice.
I do it the right way and the process is weird and political and people take things personally.
I am a kind person but as you said you want to throw back bread that has barbs on it.
I just would like to see the philippine people not to be so inhibited when things go wrong as you said in another blog that Boholanos will just bow down their heads and accept what is being thrown at them.
My point in my blogs is to make some persons mad and to not only speak out but put their words into positive action for example your married to a foreigner you can donate monies for projects here to help make your place better here. you can donate materials to the local PNP to make sure they are not under equipped for fighting crime. I have and its in the log book at the PNP if you want to see the proof.
I have also donated funds in the past to rebuild the army camp here in BOHOL. I have donated time on various projects and helped out many Philippine persons and have ended up with nothing in return sometimes not even a simple thank you.
What have you done for the community here in Bohol?
I am only a permanent resident who pays dearly to be here.
I am not born here such as you are, your the one who can help your people since you understand them and you seem to know some what of what your talking about.
You seem to have allot of negative energy but instead of being negative turn it into opposite ideals to help your people so that you do not have to waste your time telling those who want to see improvement off because of how they feel about your place.
As I said before make people want to come here. Do not act like you do not care.
Come out from behind your pc and start a program to better the livelihood of those natives who stick it out over here.
There is plenty you can do from over there with a PC to help your country.
I even was able to get fatigues from my army men to help put some of the army here in the Philippines in fatigues.
I have been here 6 years "Proud" what have you done in six years for your Philippines your taxxes are not here they are in England so if your tax money is in England how are you contributing to your home place as your living on a greener pasture and owning a PC as most here have to go to internet cafe's as they can not afford them.
As for the killings yes the Philippine do bomb and attack and kill NPA's (rebels) over here so why should I be mad at a good thing being done?
Why would you be mad at America for trying to train the poorer countries to help become better from their attackers? They have to defend themselves also when there are jealous political groups trying to get in their way that are life threatening.
We also assisted the Philippines in the same way but when it came time to get your countries help you guys backed out?
Because of two men that were kidnapped being threatend to become beheaded.
GMA pulled out on a bribe.
So if you want to do away with attackers such as rebels and the Nap's "Proud" use your bread with barb's! Ha ha ha ha!!! OUCH THAT REALLY HURTS!
Spend your time being helpfull I have. I am not one who sits and dish's out on things I do not know about I try to help but i am tired of being the only one drained. I love people with all my heart but regardless if they can lift up a jug of tuba to their lips then they can put in time to volunteer in services that would benefit everyone.
Was Satan not one of god's good angels gone bad? (just kidding!)
