And of course more of those cookies.
Just PM me the details.

My first flight was in 1998 to the Philippines.Although I was ecstatic to go on the trip, the 16 hour flight as an 8-year-old was more than tiresome!
At least Philippine Airlines gave me a kid's pack to keep me occupied.

That's relatively a handsome pay, Manong Lindy!
My cousin who is a seaman, his salary is $550 a month at this current time. Well, free ang board and lodging, I suppose, sa barko with matching kiling-kiling dyutay!
pero nausab na Day sa tunga2 sa 80's diin diha nay mga Thailander nga nidawat ug $450.00 then nisulod ang Srilanka nga midawat ug $350.00

If that's how you call it.
It's always nice to give chance to people who make good use of this chance. Actually, the people in his barangays are embracing him because, so far, after winning he has done good to his constituents.
So long as he lives by his promise to his constituents, okey ko niya. I somehow like this guy kai hes a strong man. Some parts of Philippines needs strong officials, because if you're not strong, people will walk all over you. Sometimes it is necessary for a sheppard to discipline the sheep, else the sheep will wander away. Mao ni ang saying.
Sige. Thanks for the information, Ate Ging.

We Pinoys are respectful to our elders. Mahadlok ta'g gabaan sa mga tiguwang busa ato jud alagaan.
Amen!
My father took care of my Lolo, the father of my mother, when he was here from 2003-2005. Total care, washing, cleaning, feeding. Despite there was no blood relation, he cared for him as if he was his own father. I was asked by my dad raba when i was helping him with lolo, "Bran, will you do this for me when it is my turn?"
Na, it is expected already.
Then suddenly I heard commotion. I thought there was kind of hold up or something because a car blocked our way. But then again, that wasn't late yet and in the middle of a busy street. Then came out this guy who was talking foul languages. PI! The rule is so simple. No smoking in public places! How difficult is that, ha? He even pointed the sign, No Smoking in the jeepney! Basta, ga wild jud! I realized and recongnized then it was the Mayor Duterte. He said something like if we can't follow simple rules then we become hopeless or that how much more the more complicated ones. The Mayor then ordered us passengers to take another jeepney and let the conductor return our fare. I felt so bad for the driver because he looked so humiliated. He even hid his cigarette butt under his shoes but the Mayor was quick to find the evidence.
But then again, on the second thought, it made me wonder, why do we have to disobey rules. Yes, you can smoke all you want but you are endangering the passengers with the smoke. In the end I still pity the driver but I didn't blame the Mayor.
