for both you i don't agree of your ideas. Being Inabangnon i always support Francisco Dagohoy Movement to oppose any form foreign intervention here in our country.

I idolize the ideology of Tausog Tribe where datu Lapu-lapu was belonged.

That was what happened in the history. Forgive me; my recollections of history are limited at this point in time. The fact presented was the debate about Rizal being a national hero. I am very proud of Francisco Dagohoy, count me with that.

Honestly, our nation failed to develop leaders that take care of the interests of the people. The poverty is like a terminal cancer, the Filipino people survive because of the money the OFW’s and people living abroad send to their families. That serves as chemotherapy; a temporary relief of the pains, but the disease continues to spread.

Let us go back to history and we need to identify who failed us. As a nation, how many people gave their lives for freedom? Too many, and yet look at us now. What happened to the ideals and principles that our fathers fought for? I remembered Ninoy Aquino at the tarmac said, “Filipinos are worth dying for.”  Are we really? My answer is YES, because we have no choice, that is our given identity.

Bugs, with seriousness, the only thing I regretted so much in life is I preferred my career than my son. Until now I feel so guilty for not spending quality time with him. He was gone, and what was left to me was regret. I should have done better. The lesson I learned from that, life is short, there is no guarantee when you gonna stay here.

We have to make the best out of it with the people we love. Every second counts.

I beg to disagree, and pagbutang ni Rizal sa pedistal as National hero is the main reason nganong ang Pilipinas gipangulunan ug mga elitista.

Anyway on the second par, I agree 100%.

BBC:  Will you approve of this;

A Polish law that can force some rapists and paedophiles to undergo chemical castration has come into effect.

The legislation, passed by Polish MPs last September, applies to men who rape children or immediate family members.

The procedure has been tried elsewhere, but usually on a voluntary basis.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk proposed the measures after a series of high-profile paedophilia cases last year.

Under the law, prisoners would be forced on their release to take drugs to reduce their sex drive, but courts are required to consider the opinions of psychiatrists before ordering it.

According to Polish politicians, the country now has the toughest legislation towards paedophiles in Europe.

Dapat lang, at least naay gasugod.

hahaha! it sucks for the specialists, but the GPs are guaranteed income (raises). Obama's health plan will focus interest on General Practice and less so on specialty care.

(You will see that the specialists will clamor for reform in later years; since their income level will decrease; with decrease income, decrease also in level of care given).

:)

Yeah, I understand that part.

Na, im poor in math. very poor. :P

Alot of GPs, you will see are equivalent to the 'nurses' in Medicine.

Nurses work crazy hours to make $$.

GPs not only have their base income from their practice, but many of them also 'moonlight' nursing homes and hospitals.

A nursing home pays a GP $60k to visit a nursing home  1-2 times a day. Normally GPs will visit 2-3 nursing homes a week.

So thats an extra $180,000 added to their base income (Base + 180K).

~~

GPs will actually profit from Obama's health care program.
Since Uncle Sam will pay the GP per every patient he sees.
Guaranteed income; and not worrying for medicaid to cover cost.

Wow, that sucks!

LOL! Wolf, dear, your medical provider, as your provider, is entitled to listen to you. Its his job. Heck, he already bills your insurance company alot. :)

GPs whine alot about how they are underpaid.

Darling, every patient the see, they charge them $300 per person. So these GPs that see about 50 patients a day.

50 X $300 = $15,000 a/day.
Subtract medicare' share; take 50% off.

So that leaves him with about $7,500 a day.
X that 22 days (lets not count weekends).

Thats about $165,000 a month.

Gross income (without overhead cost) is about $150k - $165k a month.

X that 12 months = $1.98 Million.

~~

End result: To listen to patients talk is not that bad when he earns (not considering overhead cost) about $2 million a year.

;D

Wow, that is impressive calculations of the money I wasted listening to my GP talk about my bill of health ....blahblagahah blahblah... blahblah .

we learn to like what is thrown at us or where we're thrown in, i've learned.

years ago, i cried so hard when my banana republic told me to stop working.  i got depressed for a year and was so hot-headed, i became terrible to live with.  i was even embarrassed to buy lipstick with money that i believed i didn't earn.

i learned to live with my new situation and began to appreciate the time on my hands.  now i could not imagine having to work again, outside of the house as an employee, that is.  but you know how it is, like cowboys whose work is never done, housewives' work is just as never-ending.

believe me, you have a lot to be thankful for as a working girl.  (maybe you just need to fall in love?  again?  ahem.  ssshhhh. :-*)

Yeah, maybe I need to.

I envied women that do not work, they don't need to put up the bullshits I've been through.

Yes, absolutely, domestic works never end, only the tough survived.

Hehehehe... sometimes, the price of patriotism. Pero usahay maka pangutana pod ko... patriotism kaha tong motive or was it some vested interest? Just like our politicos now. Do they really care about the suffering majority?  ???

I will give you an honest answer. The political power is like opium, maka-addict.

Our government is taking away our dignity as a people, taking away our pride as intellectual race in Asia, pushing as to become slaves of foreign lands just to pedal the economy.

As I put it in: “ Tinawag ninyo kaming p**t, pero ano ang tawag sa sosyedad na naglikha sa aming ganito.”

That is really a sad reality. The leaders don't care.

I started the process 5 years ago, however, too much bureaucratic bullshits and red tapes made me discouraged and stopped.

Well, I just helped nieces and nephews.

During my graduation ball in high school. I was so drank and was unable to get inside the house, so I just slept in the veranda.

In the morning, I was busy cleaning my pukes....

Yes, when I was in Grade 3, I threw my opponent in the compost pit.

And last year when I took a defensive tactics class...We have to fight to pass. I injured my arm, but it is okay now.

What are the things you love to cook, Wolf?

I am excellent in meat dishes, not much with desserts. They love my "Lauja" even doctors, said forget the cholesterol, let's enjoy and eat.

When I celebrated a fiesta in my house in honor of Sto. Niño last January, I have about 80 guests and I have maybe close to 80 entrees, most are home cooking. People went crazy with the foods and it became a conversation piece in our office and in my Fil-circles.

My circles are culturally diversed but, they love the foods.

You CAN become a lawyer, Wolf! Do it! Go for it!

I have a friend who was a paramedic for 20 years, and went back to medical school.
He did it! Don't ever put limitations on yourself. NEVER!

Thank You!
I am shopping for a law school right now, help me God...That will be a scary decision, let's see where I am heading to... Thanks again.

I personally prefer cremation aron barato ra mailing padung sa Pinas - if ever sa layong dapit ka mahanaw - pero kung sa atoa mas maayo jud kung normal or decent Christian burial, which is good for those who are left behind (e.g. letting go or closure). But for the deceased, it don't mean a thing like Enz said!!!! It's a sad reality, hilabi na kung nagkalisod ;D

But, the bright side of it Father from ash to ash tanan nga material things mahibilin sa kalibutan kung kita mupanaw.
(joke lang Father ha ayawa kasuko)

It's the one I read when I was in college, 'THE GREATEST SALEMAN IN THE WORLD" by Og Mandino  :)

I love that book too...

I want to be cremated, I cant imagine my body eaten by worms. I love taking care of my body only in the end eaten by worms. That is not right. Besides, I don't want a regular burial where there is a viewing. I can't trust enough the funeral parlor to put my favorite mineral make-up.. I hate to say this but I don't want people on my final hours to remember me as an ugly corpse. (Heheheheehhehe)

How do i respond to this.

Tell them, back off.... I will send you the money when I have a lucrative practice.

I don't like sunset, it is gloomy to me and dark. I love sunrise, it is a start of a new day, new hope, new adventures. But, I love going to the beach on a night time, self explanatory because of my skin.
