Are you giving time to your family?
« on: June 09, 2010, 10:11:45 AM »
Family is our most essential parts in our life. We can't think our life except our family. Family member plays vital role in our life existence. Standing beyond of family we can't take our life easily or smoothly. Now a days, I am seeing most of the people are not giving enough time to their family. As result, they have to exist their life in pain and sorrow. So,we should give time to our family which helps us to feel pleasure. If we separate our Family Leisure time once in a week then it will be good. I am also separating family leisure time for my family once in a week .Really, which makes me feel relief along with my family, which is my great achievement.

I don't want to sound negative but, how I wish I have a family here. If you let me rephrase the question, is your family giving time to you?

and may your wish be granted, wolfpack.

i'm a stay-at-home housewife, so most of my time is with my family.  i can't think of a better arrangement, and i am glad because i also have enough space and time for myself.

I know it is a wishful thinking, wish I can convince my Mom to visit me.

You have a nice life, how I wish I don't have to work.

we learn to like what is thrown at us or where we're thrown in, i've learned.

years ago, i cried so hard when my banana republic told me to stop working.  i got depressed for a year and was so hot-headed, i became terrible to live with.  i was even embarrassed to buy lipstick with money that i believed i didn't earn.

i learned to live with my new situation and began to appreciate the time on my hands.  now i could not imagine having to work again, outside of the house as an employee, that is.  but you know how it is, like cowboys whose work is never done, housewives' work is just as never-ending.

believe me, you have a lot to be thankful for as a working girl.  (maybe you just need to fall in love?  again?  ahem.  ssshhhh. :-*)

Yeah, maybe I need to.

I envied women that do not work, they don't need to put up the bullshits I've been through.

Yes, absolutely, domestic works never end, only the tough survived.

Bugs, with seriousness, the only thing I regretted so much in life is I preferred my career than my son. Until now I feel so guilty for not spending quality time with him. He was gone, and what was left to me was regret. I should have done better. The lesson I learned from that, life is short, there is no guarantee when you gonna stay here.

We have to make the best out of it with the people we love. Every second counts.

Bay Bugs,

Ampo ko nga matuman gyud imong plano. Hapit na ra ba matuig since your post of this reply, hinaot unta makauban na gyud nimo imong pamilya. I never regretted the day I decided to come home about 9 months ago. In the Philippines, I have more time with my family, as most of my work is done at home via internet and phone. Teaching load nako sa university is at most 3 times a week, and this month only once a week. Once or twice a month, naa pud ko travel to other cities, but the rest of the time, home is my office. On call lang ko sa balay, and believe it or not, many of my clients are from Japan. I've always had a hunch I could do my work at home, and I'm glad I took to risk to try it. Internet has revolutionized the way we can earn. Hinuon, lain-lain man ta ug linya sa panginabuhi. But if you prioritize your family, you'll surely find a way. Just plan ahead before you make the jump. And pray a lot for wisdom and guidance.

Yes I spend all my time with my family from sun up to sun down. Perming ginukod akong oras ug inatiman nila. As a result teachers, doctors, stranger always made some comment about our children that they were all happy kids, well love and truely a product of happy home where mom and dad spend lot's of time with them.
Ingon ani permi among hapon after school magsayaw sayaw ug dili gani tua sa basement nag ugay ugay sa mga manok sa akong anak.
