Bible Study / Prayer to Battle Demonic Attacks
August 10, 2024, 10:15:12 PM

PRAYERS THAT DISMANTLE SATANIC COUNCILS AND ATTACKS

As you pray these prayers, there will be destructive fire of the Holy Spirit against satanic councils and attacks. They will be destroyed by fire.

Father, I dip myself in the blood of Jesus Christ, now. Let the angels of God camp around me tonight with their flaming sword ready to do battle in Jesus name.

Holy Spirit make me stealthy against every satanic radar in Jesus name.

I plant myself in the power of the Holy Spirit, and I declare any satanic council will not penetrate me tonight in ADONAI YESHUA MESSIAH' Name.

I release Holy Spirit fire against all evil demons that have been assigned to me. May they be scattered now in the Name of ADONAI YESHUA.

I take the ax and chop the head off every demon in the Name of ADONAI YESHUA.

I cut into pieces every satanic attack against me and against every demon of reinforcement in ADONAI YESHUA's Name.

I come against every satanic court that is appealing my name, my family, my ministry. I destroy them all in the Name of ADONAI YESHUA.

I call the fire of the Holy Spirit to rain upon demonic court that has my name on it in ADONAI YESHUA's Name.

I pick up the sword of the Lord and cut the head of every satanic principality that is giving orders against me in ADONAI YESHUA's Name.

Lorenzo Martinez "Ka Tanny" Tañada Sr. CCLH (Tagalog: [tɐˈɲada], born Lorenzo Tañada y Martínez; August 10, 1898 – May 28, 1992) was a Filipino statesman, lawyer, human and civil rights defender, and national athlete. He is often referred to as the "Grand Old Man of Philippine Politics."

He served as the Solicitor General for two terms. Following his election in 1947 where he placed 1st with the highest number of votes among the Senate candidates, he then had a sterling career as the longest-serving senator in Philippine Senate History being elected to four consecutive terms from 1947 until 1971, for a total of 24 straight years in the senate. He was a fierce nationalist and principled politician. A staunch opposition to martial law under Ferdinand Marcos, he marched and led rallies in the Parliament of the Streets. He is also equally renowned for his efforts to stop the continued presence of US military bases in the Philippines through the Anti-Bases Coalition (ABC).

Senator Tañada was the chairman of the Justice for Aquino, Justice for All (JAJA) movement that sought to oust Marcos after the assassination of former Sen. Ninoy Aquino. Senator Tañada was also a co-founder of the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG) with Joker Arroyo and José W. Diokno. FLAG is the largest group of human rights lawyers nationwide. They spearheaded the nationalist cause in the 1970s and 1980s as an agreement in the 1960s with Larry Henares and others.

He was also the founding chairman of a merged party called Bayan that opposed Marcos in the 1978 elections, and he founded the Nuclear-Free Philippines Coalition or NFPC, which successfully prevented the opening of the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant under the Marcos administration.

In his youth, he was also a national football team goalkeeper and was part of the Philippine national team that bagged silver medals at the 1923 and 1925 Far Eastern Championship Games, the precursor to the famous Asian Games.

He is the father of former Philippine Senator Wigberto Tañada and the grandfather of former Deputy Speaker Erin Tañada.

SHIP UPDATE | M/V Claudine Star of Star Philippines Shipping Lines Inc (sister company of Roble Shipping) will soon serve the Cebu-Tacloban and v.v. route this coming September 2024

The newest Cebu-based ferry operator: Star Philippines Shipping Lines Inc. is poised to start its commercial operations this coming September 2024 (tentative) using their first vessel M/V CLAUDINE STAR which will soon ply the CEBU-TACLOBAN and v.v. Route

M/V Claudine Star is a RORO-Passenger Vessel built in Japan. She was the former Tanegashima Maru No.2 when she was still in Japan. She was built in Honda Shipbuilding Company in its Saiki yard in 1970.

The vessel has an overall length of 74.3 meters, a breadth of 12.2 meters and a depth of 7.2 meters. This ship is powered by a single Hanshin diesel engine with 2,300 horsepower on tap. Her original service speed was 15 knots.

The vessel was acquired by George and Peter Lines (brother of William Chiongbian) in 1993. She was renamed as the M/V Zambonga Ferry and served the company's Cebu-Dapitan-Zamboanga and v.v. Route and had a cruising speed of 9 knots.

Her fate became uncertain as GP Lines decided to quit in the Shipping Industry and sold off its vessel assets to Lite Shipping Corporation - Lite Ferries in 2019. During that time, GP Lines only had 3 vessels. M/V Georich (its veteran cruiser ferry), M/V GP Ferry 2 (ex-Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Cebu Ferries) and M/V Zamboanga Ferry.

M/V Georich was sold as scrap and was cut into metal pieces in Cansaga. M/V GP Ferry 2 was the only vessel that will be utilitized by Lite Ferries and currently known as the M/V Lite Ferry Three. While the M/V Zamboanga Ferry was sold to Joy Roble of Roble Shipping Inc in 2019.

The vessel has undergone major refitting in the Roble Wharf in Pier 7, Mandaue City and after a long wait, she is finally ready for service.

According to sources, she will serve the Cebu-Tacloban and v.v. Route 3x a week (every Friday, Sunday and Tuesday) and will tentatively start within September 2024.

This is a great development in the shipping industry as this will be a revival of an old route that will connect Cebu and Tacloban, Leyte which was abandoned by shipping companies due to the rising popularity of Ormoc as the shipment hub of Leyte from Cebu as well as the improvement of the road network from Ormoc to Tacloban.

This new vessel service will pass through the iconic San Juanico Bridge that connects the Leyte and Samar provinces which only few people can experience due to the lack of passenger ferry services in Tacloban, Leyte.

General Topic / Grandparents House
August 08, 2024, 09:19:49 PM

"One of the saddest moments in our lives is when the door of our grandparents' house closes forever. Once that door is closed there will be no more happy afternoons with uncles, cousins, nephews, parents, brothers and sisters. Do you remember this? There was no need to go to the restaurant on Sunday. Were going to grandparents house.
At Christmas grandma used to drill ozone with her fries while grandpa was busy roasting by burning the chimney punctually. The table was very long and was mounted in the bigger room.
Now the house is closed and there is only dust left. A sign that is sold. Nobody wants that house. She is an old one. It's going to be remodeled. It's too expensive. Caxxo do you know how much your grandparents' house is worth. Grandparents house has no value.
And so the years go by. There are no more gifts to unwrap. Omelette to eat. Vegetables to be cleaned. When our grandparents house closed we found ourselves adults not realizing when we stopped being children. Of course for grandparents we will always be small and defenseless. Always. Grandparents always had their coffee ready. The pasta. The wine. The Candy.
Then it all ends. There are no more songs. You don't make homemade pasta anymore. Grandma won't fry chips anymore and I won't be able to sneak them out of the oven anymore. You left too soon, damn. I wanted to make the salsa again. The Myrtle.
The chit chat. And the liquor to boot. I still wanted to stack wood with you grandpa, actually thanks for teaching me. And thank you for the life lessons. And out on the country. And about the gardening. Now when I pass by I look at that house and it always gets a habit to park. And to throw down the bell. And to hear my grandmother scream that pig Judas is not the way. I'm sorry grandma.
I won't ring the bell no more. When I think about you again, like now, I will sing a song.
Grandpa's favorite. A love so big. " -Antonio Cotardo :-*

Internet and World Wide Web / Khaby Lame a Billionaire
August 08, 2024, 11:22:41 AM

Khaby Lame will be a billionaire by 2029.

Not because he's the most followed person on TikTok with 162 Million followers.
Because he cracked the code of Gen Z attention (it's so simple, you'll laugh):

In March 2020, Khaby was just another factory worker in Italy laid off due to the pandemic.
His TikTok career started with gaming & dancing vids.
Fast forward to today? He's a global sensation.

But the craziest bit:

How did he do it without saying a single word?
It all started with a simple video mocking overly complicated life hacks.

No fancy equipment. No scripted jokes. Just Khaby, his phone, and his signature deadpan expression.

Little did he know, this would be the start of something huge.
Within months, Khaby's followers skyrocketed.

April 2021: 10 million followers.
July: 50 million.

And today? A staggering 162 million.
But his meteoric rise wasn't luck.

Intentionally or not, he's mastered 5 key elements of Gen Z attention:

1. Simplicity

In a world of complex content, Khaby's videos are refreshingly simple.
His format is reliable:
He takes convoluted "life hacks" and shows the obvious, easier solution -  without saying a word.
The universal language of gesture taps into a core Gen Z value:

Efficient content.

In an attention economy, Khaby delivers maximum humor in minimum time.
Khaby doesn't waste a moment - every second of his videos has a purpose.
It's the perfect dopamine injection for Gen-Z attention spans.
But that alone isn't enough.

2. Authenticity

Khaby's just a normal guy reacting to the absurdities of the internet.
He never tries to be someone he's not — just genuine reactions that resonate with millions.

This authenticity builds trust. But there's a twist:

Unlike many influencers who claim authenticity, Khaby's is unquestionable.
His rise from a factory worker to global star is well-documented.
This rags-to-riches story adds depth to his content, making him relatable to a vast audience.

There's a reason this is so important:
Countless Gen Z surveys will tell you relatable influencers always come out on top.

And Khaby? He:

• Still records in the same social housing complex
• Doesn't do any fancy editing
• Wears casual clothes

You can't be someone else forever. Authenticity always wins.

3. Consistency

Khaby used to post multiple times daily — sometimes up to 3-4 videos.
This frequency keeps him on top of TikTok's algorithm, ensuring constant visibility.
But it's not just quantity. His quality remains consistently high.

How does he maintain this pace?
By reacting to existing videos, Khaby has an endless supply of material.
It's genius. To anyone creating content:
How could you scale your work so it's easy to replicate, but still equally entertaining?
While his formula seems simple, Khaby's tapping into something bigger:

4. Cultural Commentary

Beneath the humor, Khaby's content is a subtle critique of internet culture.
He pokes fun at the often ridiculous "life hacks" that proliferate online.
It resonates with Gen Z's skepticism towards online trends — but there's an even deeper layer:
Khaby's success challenges the notion that you need to speak English to go viral.

His wordless videos have become a form of universal communication.
In a divided world, Khaby's content unites people through shared laughter.
But even universal appeal needs the right platform.

5. Cross-platform strategy

While TikTok is his main platform, Khaby doesn't put all his eggs in one basket.
He has:

• 80M Instagram followers
• 10M YouTube subscribers

But he understood that TikTok views don't pay the bills.

6. Monetization

Khaby's diversified his income:

• Brand deals with Xbox, Netflix, and Amazon
• Cryptocurrency partnerships
• NFT collections

Once you have eyeballs on your content, start turning followers into customers.

A final takeaway:
Never dismiss "influencers" as talentless/lucky.
The best ones (like Khaby) are master psychologists & marketers.

His success teaches us:
Your ideas don't need to be revolutionary to go viral. They just have to be yours.

10 General Child Safety Rules To Teach Your Children

1. Safety Rule #1 Know Your Name, Number and Address:

Your child may be small but it is important to teach basic contact details like your and
your partner's name and contact number. Your child should be able to share your
contact number with someone in case of an emergency. Also, knowing where home
is and any nearby landmark is also important. Help your child memorize these with
regular practice at home. Also, help your child memorize a backup number to call,
like a grandparent, uncle or aunt.

2. Safety Rule #2 Do NOT Eat Anything Given By A Stranger:

You need to teach your child about the dangers of eating food that is given by a
stranger. No matter how tempting the treat is, if it comes from a stranger, your child
should not eat it. Teach your child that it is dangerous to accept food from anyone.
Ask them to politely refuse in case someone is offering food without your consent or
in your absence.

3. Safety Rule #3 Do NOT Climb the Fence:

Your child may be playing ball and suddenly it bounces off to a space inside a fence.
Teach your child never to try and retrieve something by climbing through a fence. If
something like this happens, your child should ask the help of a grown up, but never
go near a fence.

4. Safety Rule #4 Do NOT Walk out of the Yard Alone:

Similar to the point above, your child should know that it is not permissible to walk out of
your yard alone. If your child needs to go out for anything, you or some known adult
should be accompanying your child at all times.

5. Safety Rule #5 Playing Or Experimenting with Fire Is NOT Allowed:

Whether or not you are at home, your child should know that it is absolutely not
allowed to play with fire. Only if you are around and have given your permission can
your child be near fire. Make sure all fire outlets are safely out of your child's reach.

6. Safety Rule #6 Never Go Anywhere with A Stranger:

Your child should know that no matter what the reasoning, it is not safe to go
anywhere with a stranger. Tell your child that if a stranger tells them something
like 'Your mom asked you to come with me immediately,' they should stay where
they are and shout out for help. Ensure that if there is an emergency, you will
always send a family member, like grandparent or aunt, to be with your child and
not a stranger.

7. Safety Rule #7 No One Is Allowed to Touch Your Child's Body:

This is a very important safety rule for child and you should teach about it as soon
as your kid can understand the basics. Teach about good touch and bad touch. Tell
your child that no one is allowed to touch your child except mommy, and
sometimes papa, if needed. If anyone else has touched your child, your child
should immediately shout for help and alert people around.

8. Safety Rule #8 If You Get Lost, Stay Where You Are:

In the event that your child gets lost, tell them it is important they stay right where
they are. If they see any other mom with child nearby, they can ask her for help.
Your child should stay inside the place and not go out, even with the other mom.
Most common places where child get lost are the super markets. Tell your child
that they can walk up to the counter of the store and tell the person they are lost.

9. Safety Rule #9 Do NOT Share Address and Phone Details With

Your child should know that it is unsafe to share personal details like phone
numbers, address, email ids or pictures with strangers. Any information that is
shared should only be with your consent or in your presence.

10. Safety Rule #10 If I Am Uncomfortable I Will Not Do It

No matter what your child may be asked to do, if it makes your child
uncomfortable, your child should NOT do it. This could be something as simple as
taking off clothes in front of others and diving in a home pool. If your child is not
comfortable about it, no matter how many friends are doing it, your child should
not do it at all.

It is important that you teach your child about these basic safety rules for kids as soon as they
are able to understand. There are certain things that you can start teaching your child as early
as three years of age. Make sure you speak to your child in an age-appropriate language. Also,
always keep communication open. This will encourage your child to tell you everything

Philippine Government / How to Buy Cheap Plane Tickets
August 01, 2024, 02:25:07 AM

7 TIPS TO BUY CHEAP FLIGHT TICKETS

1. Book on Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday and Wednesday are among the best days to buy flight tickets. Most airlines usually set up their booking systems on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. This is because airlines know that most passengers will only have time to book tickets on weekdays. According to statistics, it is proven that most of us only browse ticket prices on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

2. Book Early, But Not Too Early

Based on experience, you should book tickets at least 21 days in advance of your travel date. Most airlines have set up their systems to achieve as many ticket sales as possible. Therefore, the system has a certain quota for very cheap tickets. For example, in the system, it is determined that for flights from Kuala Lumpur to London, only the first 20 passengers will get the lowest price. The next 200 passengers will get a medium price, and the rest may be more expensive. In short, the airline's system will set ticket prices based on the margin they want when flying from Kuala Lumpur to London.

3. Suitable Flying Days

Try to book tickets to fly on Tuesday or Wednesday. Most airlines set these two days as 'less busy days' for booking systems. Airports are also usually less busy on these two days compared to Fridays and Sundays when the booking system and airports become very busy.

4. Look for the 'Best Deal' for International Flights

Most airlines will offer the 'Best Deal' about 11 to 12 weeks in advance for international flights. So, you need to regularly check ticket prices during this period.

5. Choose to Land at Smaller Airports

You can try this technique, which is landing at an airport that is not the 'main airport' for that destination. For example, if you want to go to London, many will usually choose to land at Heathrow. Next time, don't land at Heathrow, but try landing at a 'smaller' airport near Heathrow, such as the airport in Manchester. Then, from Manchester, you can take a train to London. Try this method. It should be cheaper!

6. Clear 'Cookies'

Many people do not know this. Clear the cookies on your laptop, smartphone, and PC if you have visited the airline's website 30 days before. This is because through these cookies, the airline's booking system will assume that you have visited their website repeatedly. Therefore, the booking system will set the same price even if you have visited the website multiple times. Sometimes, the price may even increase! So, practice the habit of clearing cookies on your internet browser. If you don't know how to delete them, ask Mr. Google!

7. Compare Prices

Don't be lazy to google and compare the ticket prices you want on other websites. Don't just focus on one website. You will be surprised because sometimes you will find cheaper ticket prices from the same airline. Here are some search engines that I frequently use for travel:

   1. Skyscanner
   2. CheapFlight
   3. Momondo
   4. Kayak
   5. Google Flight
   6. Ita Software

Aside from its nutritious benefits and livelihood opportunities, the mushroom production project of the National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP) of the Department of Agriculture offers rehabilitative benefits to persons deprived of liberty (PDL) in the Butuan City Jail.

The Department of Agriculture-Caraga, headed by Regional Executive Director Arlan M. Mangelen turned over the mushroom production project worth ₱340,000 to Bureau of Jail Management Penology (BJMP) Regional Director JSSUPT Belinda A. Ebora on July 29.

Inspiration & Hope / Advice to All Employees
July 28, 2024, 02:34:55 PM

*ADVICE TO ALL EMPLOYEES*

1. Build a home earlier. Be it rural home or urban home. Building a house at 50 is not an achievement. Don't get used to government houses. This comfort is so dangerous. Let all your family have good time in your house.

2. Go home. Don't stick at work all the year.  You are not the pillar of your department.  If you drop dead today, you will be replaced immediately and operations will continue.  Make your family a priority.

3. Don't chase promotions.  Master your skills and be excellent at what you do. If they want to promote you, that's fine if they don't,  stay positive to your personal.
development.

4. Avoid office or work gossip. Avoid things that tarnish your name or reputation. Don't join the bandwagon that backbites  your bosses and colleagues. Stay away from negative gatherings that have only people as their agenda.

5. Don't ever compete with your bosses.  You will burn your fingers.  Don't compete with your colleagues, you will fry your brain.

6. Ensure you have a side business.  Your salary will not sustain your needs in the long run.

7. Save some money. Let it be deducted automatically from your payslip.

8. Borrow a loan to invest in a business or to change a situation not to buy luxury. Buy luxury from your profit.

9. Keep your life, marriage and family private. Let them stay away from your work. This is very important.

10. Be loyal to yourself  and believe in your work. Hanging around your boss will alienate you from your colleagues and  your boss may finally dump you when he leaves.

11. Retire early.  The best way to plan for your exit was when you received the employment letter. The other best time is today.  By 40 to 50 be out.

12. Join work welfare and be an active member always. It will help you a lot when  any eventuality occurs.

13.Take leave days utilize them by developing yr future home or projects..usually what you do during yr leave days is a reflection of how you'll live after retirement..If it means you spend it all holding a remote control watching series on Zee world, expect nothing different after retirement.

14. Start a project whilst still serving or working. Let your project run whilst at work and if it doesn't do well, start another one till it's running viably. When your project is viably running then retire to manage your business. Most people or pensioners fail in life because they retire to start a project instead of retiring to run a project.

15. Pension money is not for starting a project or buy a stand or build a house but it's money for your upkeep or to maintain yourself in good health. Pension money is not for paying school fees or marrying a young wife but to look after yourself.

16. Always remember, when you retire never be a case study for living a miserable life after retirement but be a role model for colleagues to think of retiring too.

17. Don't retire just because you are finished or you are now a burden to the company and just wait for your day to die. Retire young or whilst energetic to enjoy waking up for a cup of coffee, enjoy the sun, receive money from your business, visit nice place that you missed and spend good time with family. Those who retire late, spend about 95% of their time at work than with their family and that's why they see it difficult to spend time with their family when they retire but end looking for another job till they die. If they don't get another job, they die early.

18. Retire at your house than at government accommodation so that when you retire you can easily fit into the society that raised you. It's not easy to adjust to live in a location after spending more years at company house or at government house.

19. Never let your employment benefits make you forget about your retirement. Employment benefits are just meant to make you relax, get finished whilst time is moving. Remember when you retire no one will call you boss if you don't have a viable business.

20. Don't hate to retire because one day you will retire either voluntarily or involuntarily.

Hope this will help you look at life positively

Health and Food / Foods to Eat to Cure Fatty Liver
July 27, 2024, 06:41:55 AM

Treating fatty liver disease primarily involves dietary and lifestyle changes to reduce fat accumulation in the liver and improve overall liver health. Here are some recommended foods and drinks to consider:

Foods to Eat
1. **Fruits and Vegetables**: High in fiber and antioxidants, they help reduce inflammation and promote liver health. Include leafy greens, berries, citrus fruits, and cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and Brussels sprouts.
2. **Whole Grains**: Foods like oats, brown rice, and whole wheat bread are rich in fiber, which can help improve liver function.
3. **Lean Proteins**: Opt for sources such as chicken, turkey, fish, beans, and legumes. Fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, and sardines are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce liver fat.
4. **Healthy Fats**: Include sources of unsaturated fats like avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil. These fats can help reduce liver fat and improve cholesterol levels.
5. **Low-fat Dairy**: Foods like yogurt and milk can be beneficial, but choose low-fat or fat-free options to avoid excess fat intake.
6. **Coffee**: Studies suggest that drinking coffee in moderation may help reduce liver enzyme levels and protect against liver damage.
7. **Garlic**: Contains compounds that can help reduce body fat and support liver health.

### Drinks to Consider
1. **Water**: Staying hydrated is crucial for overall health, including liver function. Aim to drink plenty of water throughout the day.
2. **Green Tea**: Rich in antioxidants like catechins, green tea can help reduce liver fat and inflammation.
3. **Coffee**: As mentioned, moderate coffee consumption has been linked to lower liver enzyme levels and reduced liver damage.

### Foods and Drinks to Avoid
1. **Alcohol**: It can exacerbate liver damage and should be avoided completely.
2. **Sugary Foods and Beverages**: High sugar intake can lead to fat accumulation in the liver. Avoid sugary drinks, sweets, and processed foods.
3. **Fried and Fatty Foods**: Foods high in saturated and trans fats can increase liver fat and should be limited.
4. **Refined Carbs**: White bread, pasta, and rice can spike blood sugar levels and contribute to fat accumulation. Opt for whole grains instead.

### General Tips
- **Portion Control**: Eating smaller, more frequent meals can help manage weight and reduce liver fat.
- **Regular Exercise**: Physical activity helps burn fat and improve overall health. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week.

Consulting with a healthcare provider or a dietitian can provide personalized guidance based on your specific condition and health needs.

General Topic / 20 Unspoken Rules for Men
July 16, 2024, 10:22:17 PM

20 Unspoken Rules for Men:

1. Never shake a hand sitting down.
Standing up shows respect and engagement. It signifies that you value the person you are meeting and are fully present in the interaction.

2. Protect who is behind you, and respect who is beside you.
This emphasizes loyalty and honor. Protecting those behind you means safeguarding your family, friends, and teammates. Respecting those beside you signifies recognizing the equality and value of your peers.

3. Never insult the cooking when you are the guest.
Showing gratitude and respect for hospitality is essential. Criticizing the cooking is disrespectful and ungrateful, especially when someone has gone out of their way to host you.

4. Never eat the last piece of something you didn't buy.
This rule underscores courtesy and consideration for others. It demonstrates awareness and respect for shared resources and the contributions of others.

5. Never make the first offer in a negotiation.
Letting the other party make the first offer can provide strategic advantages. It gives you insight into their expectations and can help you negotiate better terms.

6. Don't take credit for work you didn't do.
Integrity in acknowledging others' efforts is crucial. Taking undue credit undermines trust and damages your credibility.

7. Take the blame, and give credit when due.
Owning up to mistakes and recognizing others' contributions builds respect and trust. It shows maturity and leadership.

8. If you are not invited, don't ask to go.
Respecting boundaries and invitations is key to maintaining good social etiquette. It avoids awkward situations and respects the host's intentions.

9. Always aim for the head.
This metaphorical rule can apply to many scenarios, implying that you should strive for excellence and precision in your efforts.

10. Don't beg for a relationship.
Self-respect and dignity are important. Desperation can lead to unhealthy dynamics and undervalues your worth.

11. Dress well no matter what the occasion.
Good grooming and dressing appropriately show respect for yourself and others. It also boosts confidence and makes a positive impression.

12. Always carry cash.
Being prepared for various situations, including emergencies, is practical. It reflects foresight and responsibility.

13. Listen, nod, and most of all make eye contact.
Active listening and non-verbal engagement are crucial for effective communication. They show that you value and are attentive to the speaker.

14. Show restraint in expressing anger, no matter what. Being angry is a waste of energy.
Managing anger is vital for maintaining composure and making rational decisions. It prevents regrettable actions and fosters a more positive environment.

15. Whether it's dinner, drinks, or both, avoid placing your phone on the dinner table.
Prioritizing face-to-face interactions over digital distractions shows respect and attentiveness to those present.

16. Never pose with alcohol.
Maintaining a responsible image is important. Posing with alcohol can convey unprofessionalism or recklessness.

17. Proper grammar will get you far in life. Leave the foul language for the less educated.
Good communication skills, including proper grammar, enhance your credibility and professionalism. Avoiding foul language shows respect and maturity.

18. Ask more than you answer.
Showing interest in others by asking questions fosters better relationships and understanding. It also demonstrates humility and a willingness to learn.

19. You can tell a great deal about a person by their handshake, so make yours strong and firm.
A firm handshake conveys confidence and sincerity. It is often the first impression you make, so it's important to get it right.

20. Speak honestly. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
Honesty builds trust and integrity. It involves being truthful and consistent, fostering deeper connections and mutual respect. Speaking honestly also means balancing truth with empathy and tact, ensuring that your words are respectful and considerate.

Inspiration & Hope / How to Attract People
July 15, 2024, 09:28:11 PM

How do I attract people?

1- Be mysterious. It develops attraction towards you.

2- Be least available. Scarce things are always attractive to the people.

3- Be confident. It shows you are capable of doing things in a better way.

4- Be well dressed. Your great dressing sense attracts the attention of others.

5- Smell good. Use powerful perfume and deo to catch other's attention.

6- Your body language should be open. It shows you are frank and carefree.

7-Be least responsive to attract other people. This will draw their attention towards you and will increase your demand.

8- Don't sell yourself so easily to the people. Let them make efforts to win you because people don't value the things which they get easily.

9- Don't express yourself much on social media. This kills the attraction.

10- Don't care what other people think about you.

11- Don't be desperate while talking or texting to someone.

12- Don't be needy. The more needy you become, the least attention you get.
Learn to say NO.

12-Be yourself. Don't change yourself to win someone. Change yourself to improve.

13- Don't reveal everything about yourself. Revealing everything about yourself makes you 'least attractive' person.

14-Don't get affected if someone is not giving you importance you want or deserve.
Always be the one to end the conversation.

15- Don't show too much interest in anyone.

16- Don't be too nice to the people. People will take you granted for it and you are destined to loose all the attractions.
Strong sense of humour increases the attraction because it's also one of the signs of an intelligent personality.

17- Show priority to your goal and not any other people (expect your family members).

18- During conversation, make eye-contact with the other person and smile slightly.

19- Love yourself and never be afraid to stand up for what you believe.
Be opinionated and up to date about trendy topics and other social issues.

20- Be adventurous. Travel to amazing places and have some amazing clicks and stories from there to post on social media.
Be optimistic and risk-taker. Optimism gives positive vibes to people and hence they are attracted towards you. By taking the risk, you show that you are courageous and can move out from your 'comfort zone' if needed.

21- Be independent. Spend most of your time alone without giving a f*** about other's life.
Be thinker and analyse the things. Provide solutions to other's problems without expecting anything in return.
Never compromise with your self-respect. Always respect and love yourself but don't forget to remain humble and polite.

22- Be ambitious. Work on your goal and focus on self-improvement.

🇵🇭 | An ancient Pre HISPANIC kingdom in the PHILIPPINES.

The Laguna Copperplate inscription (LCI) is the earliest known written document found in the Philippines. The plate was found in 1989 by Alfredo Evangelista in Lumban river near Laguna de Bay. Evangelista was dredging sand in the mouth of the river when he uncovered this sheet of copper with strange writing on it. He sold it to the Philippine National Museum for some 2000 pesos.
In 1990, Antoon Postma, a Dutch expert in ancient Philippine scripts and Mangyan writing, and a long-time resident of the Philippines, translated the document that came to be known as the Laguna Copperplate Inscription (LCI). When he saw that the writing looked similar to the ancient Indonesian script called Kavi, and that the document bore a date from the ancient Sanskrit calendar, he enlisted the help of fellow Dutchman, Dr. Johann de Casparis, whose area of expertise was ancient Indonesia.

Casparis confirmed that the script and the words used in the Laguna document were exactly the same as those that were used on the island Java at the time stated in the document, which was the year 822, in the old Hindu calendar or the year 900 C.E. (Common Era) on our calendar.

"Long Live! Year of Siyaka 822, month of Waisaka, according to astronomy. The fourth day of the waning moon, Monday. On this occasion, Lady Angkatan, and her brother whose name is Buka, the children of the Honourable Namwaran, were awarded a document of complete pardon from the Commander in Chief of Tundun, represented by the Lord Minister of Pailah, Jayadewa.

By this order, through the scribe, the Honourable Namwaran has been forgiven of all and is released from his debts and arrears of 1 katî and 8 suwarna before the Honourable Lord Minister of Puliran, Ka Sumuran by the authority of the Lord Minister of Pailah.

Because of his faithful service as a subject of the Chief, the Honourable and widely renowned Lord Minister of Binwangan recognized all the living relatives of Namwaran who were claimed by the Chief of Dewata, represented by the Chief of Medang.

Yes, therefore the living descendants of the Honourable Namwaran are forgiven, indeed, of any and all debts of the Honourable Namwaran to the Chief of Dewata.

This, in any case, shall declare to whomever henceforth that on some future day should there be a man who claims that no release from the debt of the Honourable...

Learn English Online / Meaning of Step Aside
July 08, 2024, 08:52:16 PM
The phrase "step aside" typically means to move out of the way or yield space for someone else. It's often used in situations where someone needs to pass through or take action, and you're asked to clear a path. For example, if there's a crowded area and someone says, "Please step aside," they're asking you to move so they can proceed. Is there anything else I can assist you with?

Russia President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that his country should resume production of intermediate and shorter range nuclear-capable missiles and then consider where to deploy them after the United States brought similar missiles to Europe and Asia.

Putin said Russia had pledged not to deploy such missiles but that the United States had resumed their production, brought them to Denmark for exercises and also taken them to the Philippines.

"We need to respond to this and make decisions about what we will have to do in this direction next," Putin was shown on state television telling Russia's Security Council.

"Apparently, we need to start manufacturing these strike systems and then, based on the actual situation, make decisions about where – if necessary to ensure our safety – to place them," he said.

Putin's move finally kills off all that remains from one of the most significant arms controls treaties of the Cold War amid fears that the world's two biggest nuclear powers could be entering a new arms race together with China.

The Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, signed by Mikhail Gorbachev and Ronald Reagan in 1987, marked the first time the superpowers had agreed to reduce their nuclear arsenals and eliminated a whole category of nuclear weapons.

The United States under former President Donald Trump formally withdrew from the INF Treaty in 2019 after saying that Moscow was violating the accord, an accusation the Kremlin repeatedly denied and dismissed as a pretext.

Russia then imposed a moratorium on its own development of missiles previously banned by the INF treaty — ground-based ballistic and cruise missiles with ranges of 500 km to 5,500 km.

Russia and the United States, by far the biggest nuclear powers, have both expressed regret about the disintegration of the tangle of arms control treaties which sought to slow the Cold War arms race and reduce the risk of nuclear war.

Trump in 2018 said he wanted to terminate the INF Treaty because of what he said were years of Russian violations and his concerns about China's intermediate-range missile arsenal.

Putin has said in the past that the US withdrawal would trigger a new arms race.

The United States publicly blamed Russia's development of the 9M729 ground-launched cruise missile, known in NATO as the SSC-8, as the reason for it leaving the INF Treaty.

In his moratorium proposal, Putin suggested Russia could agree not to deploy the missiles in its Baltic coast exclave of Kaliningrad. Since leaving the pact, the United States has tested missiles with a similar profile.

Putin said earlier this month he could deploy conventional missiles within striking distance of the United States and its European allies if they allowed Ukraine to strike deeper into Russia with long-range Western weapons.

In his comments on Friday, Putin gave no indication of where the missiles could be deployed. | via Reuters

An aircraft carrier is a warship that serves as a seagoing airbase, equipped with a full-length flight deck and facilities for carrying, arming, deploying, and recovering aircraft. Acting as the centerpiece of naval fleets, aircraft carriers are critical for naval air power and a key component of modern military strategy due to their ability to project air power worldwide without relying on local bases for staging aircraft operations.

Types of Aircraft Carriers
Supercarriers: These are the largest type of aircraft carriers, typically nuclear-powered and capable of carrying a large number of fixed-wing aircraft. The United States Navy operates the largest fleet of these, with the Nimitz and Gerald R. Ford classes being the most notable examples.
Light Aircraft Carriers: Smaller than supercarriers, these typically operate a limited number of STOVL (short take-off and vertical landing) aircraft, helicopters, or both. Examples include the Italian Cavour and the Spanish Juan Carlos I.
Amphibious Assault Ships: While not traditional aircraft carriers, these ships function similarly by carrying a combination of helicopters and STOVL aircraft. U.S. examples include the America and Wasp classes.
Helicopter Carriers: These are designed primarily to support helicopter operations. Ships like the French Mistral class are examples of this type.
Key Components of an Aircraft Carrier
Flight Deck: The visible, uppermost platform where aircraft take off and land. It includes catapults and arrestor wires on CATOBAR (Catapult Assisted Take Off But Arrested Recovery) carriers like the U.S. Nimitz and Ford classes.
Hangar Deck: Below the flight deck, this enclosed area is used for storing and maintaining aircraft.
Island: A superstructure on the starboard side of the flight deck housing the bridge and flight control centers.
Propulsion: Most modern U.S. carriers are nuclear-powered, providing them with unlimited range and endurance. Conventional carriers use diesel or turbine engines.
Strategic Importance
Aircraft carriers allow a nation to project air power globally, making them essential for both deterrence and offensive operations. They are key assets in peacekeeping and humanitarian missions and are crucial during wartime for their air support and force protection capabilities. The mere presence of an aircraft carrier can influence regional politics.

Examples of Notable Aircraft Carriers
USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78): The lead ship of the U.S. Navy's Gerald R. Ford class, the world's largest and most advanced aircraft carrier.
HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08): A leading example of a new generation of carriers for the UK, capable of operating up to 40 aircraft, including the F-35B.
Chinese Shandong (Type 002): China's first domestically built carrier, indicative of its growing capabilities and aspirations.
Aircraft carriers continue to evolve with advancements in technology, including the integration of newer aircraft like the F-35 series, and are likely to remain central to naval strategy for many nations.....

Philippine Business News / Why Plant Cassava
June 28, 2024, 06:27:45 AM

Why Should We Grow Cassava?

1. Highly profitable crop-Cassava is more profitable than maize. The gross margins per hector of Cassava is three times higher than that of maize.

2. Ready Market. Cassava is very easy to sell. The domestic market is huge. Cassava is also used for industrial purposes like in baking, making of cardboards, packaging materials, beer, starch, glue, baking and many more. Therefore, the market for both cassava chips and flour is huge.

3. Cassava is drought resistant compared to maize, making it a good for household and national food security.

4. Cassava is easy to store. The crop can be harvested only as needs arise. The surplus can be stored underground thereby resulting in low post harvest losses.

5. The crop is disease resistant. No need for insecticides, thus cheaper and easy to manage.

6. Can grow almost everywhere, regardless of the soil fertility.

7. Multiple uses. All parts of the plant are useful. Leaves can be used for vegetables, stems are used for planting, roots or tubers can be used to make flour, chips, or can be eaten raw.

8. Widely consumed in many African regions countries. Staple food in many regions.

9. Can be processed using the most basic or natural methods like just socking, sun drying and pounding.

10. Huge demand for both domestic and industrial use.

11. Can be inter-cropped with other crops like millet, groundnuts and beans.

12. Does not require any chemical fertilizers, making it cheaper to grow.

13. Rich source of starch and carbohydrates, making it a good security crop.

14. Complementarity. Cassava can be consumed together or mixed with other crops. Tastes super with groundnuts, beans. Cassava floor mixed with maize meal tastes better.

15. Huge potential for commercialisation. Cassava can easily or will soon be a commercial crop given its multiple industrial uses like the making of starch, flour, beer etc.

16. Nutritious. Cassava leaves are nutritious with some medicinal properties.

EXCERPTS FROM  EX-CATHOLIC PRIEST IS SNATCHED TO HELL AND HEAVEN TESTIMONY.

BY MIGUEL VÁSQUEZ.

THE CITY OF MATAGALPA, NICARAGUA.

The Year 2003

PURGATORY.

When I was a Catholic, I believed in purgatory to purify souls. But now, I know purgatory does not exist. Wake up Catholic people, do not let Satan fool you. Do not put the hope of dying and going to purgatory to get a second chance. You think you will go to purgatory and then go to heaven. There is no second chance if you died in your sins. You go to hell directly without going through purgatory. And if you fall in there it will be too late. There is no way out there. The door to hell is locked. The gate of hell opens to receive the souls and everything is locked so that none could escape. Souls cannot get out of that torment. If you do not believe me and prefer to live in sin, one day he will die and he will remember this testimony. You do not want to regret it when you fall inside. All this torment I've seen in hell, if you go there you'll see everything I've seen. But it will be too late for you. The demons shall cast you into the fire even as you cast a stone into the sea.

CATHOLIC IDOLATRY.

I saw in hell the worshipers of Mary and the Catholic saints. The worshipers of St. Peter, St. Paul, St. John and the other Saints are there. I have seen priests, archbishops and Catholic bishops in hell. I saw nuns, mothers, altar boys and popes in hell. The demons tortured these souls by sticking them with spears. They also drilled with drills by making deep holes in their bodies.

TORMENTS.

The demons used knives to cut and slice the souls. I saw when a demon got a meat grinder and put the souls inside that machine. When the souls left the crusher, they looked like ground meat. On the other side of hell, the demons were with chainsaws. They sawed the souls to pieces. On earth, not even the worst horror film compares to those sufferings.

GAYS AND TRANSSEXUALS.

I also saw demons making orgies and infernal debaucheries with souls. They raped homosexual prostitutes and transsexuals. Within a few minutes, a sea of fireworms came like a tsunami and covered the whole place. A tide of fire flames took that place causing a strong smell of burnt flesh.

Tears fell from Jesus' eyes. He does not take pleasure in seeing the suffering souls. People who choose their ways, forgetting the One who can offer eternal life. It's hard for Jesus to see those sufferings. He just went to hell to show me the situation of souls so that I may report on earth and prevent more souls from getting lost. That place smells death and fear. It is a place of shouting, groans, sweat, blood, tears, gnashing of teeth and all sorts of suffering.

CELEBRITIES.

And then Jesus took me to another place in hell. A giant metal plate was written like this: WELCOME CELEBRITIES AND HAVE A GREAT RECEPTION. As I passed the metal plate door, I saw singers, actors, and many celebrities there. I saw a famous band signs in that place. I only recognized 2 rockers and an actress. I saw rocker Bill Haley jumping frenetically because of the flames that consumed him. Guitarist Jimmy Hendrix was crying in pain, he felt very thirsty and hungry in that place. The demons made him play the guitar of fire until his fingers fell. Many Satanist rockers who had made covenants are now being tormented by the demons. I saw the actress Thuy Trang who participated in the Power Ranger series. When she saw Jesus, she cried out to take her away.
All these celebrities are in hell because of fame and money. The covenants they made with the devil brought them to this place. It's sad to see many actors, actresses, and filmmakers in that place. Many of these celebrities I did not know. The path of all who desire recognition and money is hell. They are dead on earth and forgotten, but alive in hell. They suffer various kinds of sufferings. It's sad to see the scary scenes on their faces. There is nothing on earth as terrifying as this place. The scenes of the mutilations of souls are a horror. I witnessed with my eyes a real horror movie.

Jesus took me out of hell and we climbed up to earth together. When I was a priest, I had an affair with my wife. We still had not made a commitment because I was a priest. My son Jorge was born at that time. I had hidden this secret from the Catholic Bishops for two years. When I became a Christian, I married my wife and congregated in a church. I raised a family and I had another child, a girl whose name is Clare. She came to be born when my son Carlos was already 11 years old.

MURDER.

When my son turned 15 I bought a gift watch. He helped me a lot in the work and was my only son. I had already founded my ministry and Carlos helped me when he was by my side. One day he was coming from school and was robbed. The boy who assaulted him shot him in the chest and stole my son's watch. He died at the time, I felt a lot of pain with the death of Carlos.

The demons were very angry that I went to hell and witnessed what I saw. They tried to reach me by touching on what I loved the most - my wife and my children. But I stood firm, I did not murmur against God. Because He gives His life to those who serve Him from the heart, He does not take the life of a teenager who is dedicated to His work. The devil came to kill, steal and destroy.

A year and a few months later, I found out who my son's murderer was. I approached him to learn the reason for the murder. He did not know that I was Carlos's father. This young man calls himself Oscar; he is very poor and wanted my son's watch to sell. I understood his need to steal his watch, but it did not please me to have taken my treasure from me. Young Oscar was 20 years old. I wanted to hand him over to the authorities, but I had no concrete evidence to incriminate him. The young man did not know the reason for my approaching him. He regarded me as his friend.

The Holy Spirit told me, "Preach the Word to him." I resisted His voice and questioned in my prayer. I said, "He's my son's killer that I loved. He took away my only son, a fellow man. He is no better than any murderer I've seen in hell and deserves the same destination."

I went to bed and an angel appeared to me. He pointed his finger in my direction at the height of my nose. He pulled my spirit through his nostrils. My spirit stayed with the angel. He went up with me to the clouds. The angel showed the planet to me, the earth was vibrating its rotation and spinning at high speed and accelerated greatly.

The angel said, "The vibrations and rotations of the earth are getting faster and faster. The days of the earth are being shortened, the years will pass in a hurry."

TRIBULATION.

The angel showed me the days of tribulation, a man of great religious importance made a sacrifice for Satan to release the demons. Satan receives strength and opens the pit of hell. An army of demons invades the earth to execute judgment on sin. People became crazy, unbalanced, oppressed, and possessed by demons. They were tormented and incurable wounds grew all over. There were fearful deadly diseases that did not kill people. These people took on a form of zombies and suffered great mental control; they were slaves of the government.

I looked at the River Euphrates. 4 angels were liberated and destroyed a great part of the world population with wars, diseases, and hunger. And along with these principalities, millions of soldiers from hell were released to destroy mankind. All the people and Jews that had no seal of God were decimated. The hordes of hell marched against the earth and caused destruction. Men possessed by demons became killing machines. Nuclear weapons were thrown into the earth and caused great destruction. Millions of people and the Hebrews were killed on this earth. Those who had the mark on their foreheads persecuted the Christians.

The wrath of God has fallen from heaven upon thieves, sorcerers, murderers, and prostitutes. The rulers with the Antichrist could not rule, all was in chaos and destruction.

CHURCH EVANGELISM.
The angel showed me the names of denominations involved in the ministry of salvation. Some churches managed 50 percent of souls saved, while others reached 40 percent and 30 percent. Churches that had no commitment 20 percent and 10 percent, while corrupt churches at 5 percent and 2 percent. The smaller and unknown churches reached a higher percentage of salvation. And the great churches reached a lower percentage of salvation.

The angel said, "The more people there are in the churches, the more they grow financially and the more fearful they become of preaching salvation."

HEAVEN.
I and the angel and we enter Paradise. It is a beautiful, flourishing place with great castles for the church to live in. All were of fine gold of a great splendor that shines like a sun in that place.

The angel pointed his finger at a crowd of people. He said, "Look at your son Carlos."
I looked and saw that they all looked the same. The angel opened my spiritual eyes and I recognized my son. He was different, happy and very joyful. The angel allowed me to meet my son. I gave him a very strong hug and said, "I love you." The hug he'd never given when he was on earth. I overcame my son to walk in holiness. I did not want to lay a hand on his head with that fear of losing to the world. A hug in my thinking could make you relax. I missed giving my son more love. Too bad that many remember loving when they lose their loved ones. Love your family, love your children, love your parents and grandparents. Enjoy the best moments and do something for your parents and grandparents while they are alive. After they die, it's no use regretting what they might have done.

BOOK OF MYSTERIES.
I have seen a golden book full of hidden mysteries that have not yet been revealed. The angel said that the Bible is essential to save mankind, but not all the mysteries of God are contained in the Bible. There are books in heaven that are written things that are beyond our thoughts.

DESTINY.
Before we were born, Jesus had drawn up a plan for every faithful servant. Jesus has not put all your secrets in the Bible so that we will come to God and pray we will have revelations.
The angel said, "The young Oscar who murdered your son is a chosen person for a great work. Satan was struggling to take that soul." The angel revealed that through him many souls will be saved.

The angel said, "If you do not preach the Gospel to him, no one else will speak. His salvation is in your hands if you do not preach the Word; he will die and go to hell. You will account for his blood and be responsible for all the souls this young man could have gained if he were a Christian. Everything you do in the material world is reflected in the spiritual world. If you win the soul of this young man, multitudes of people will be saved through him. If you let him die this crowd of people will not convert and they will go to hell."

The angel showed me in a vision how it would be if young Oscar became a Christian. He had a Bible in his hand and talked about Jesus. A large crowd heard his message. He was Pastor of a great church. My mind understood that this young man is important in the work of God. The angel showed me this young man on earth. And at that moment he was in danger of death. The devils gathered to reap his life before he was converted. The demons had a great sense of God's work in this life. The danger to the demons of losing that soul was my approach to this young man.

I asked the angel why my son was allowed to die. The angel showed me a future vision. My son was in the vision and he was 18 years old. It had been three years later, he died at the age of 15. My son in the vision grew cold in the faith and decided to live his own life. He abandoned Jesus' path and got involved with drinks and drugs. He became involved with a girl he met in the underworld of addictions. And because of jealousy, he was possessed by a demon. He murdered his girlfriend with a knife and awoke with the body. Soon after, he was murdered by this girl's brother. I did not recognize my son, because in the future vision he was someone else. Satan had changed his personality.

The angel said, "If he lived here 3 years later, he would be someone who would bring a lot of pain to his parents. And he would still go to hell. God allowed him to die in the state of his purity. The moment he most sought God with all his heart, this was the best moment of his life. Satan was already planning to corrupt his life."

There I understood how God works. Sometimes I questioned God that He was wrong to allow an event. God knows all things and we know nothing. If He allows the death of a loved one, God knows what He is doing. My son, if he lived another three years, would be in hell. And God would be just to send my son to the torment.

BLESSINGS.
I asked the angel because my salary is little. I wanted a raise and a lot of prosperity. The angel answered me, "Michael, your heart is not prepared to receive earthly conquests. Any material possessions of high value would be a barrier between you and Jesus. This would contribute to your turning away from the path of salvation. Which father would give something that would harm his son? So is our God."

"There are blessings matters that lead you to spiritual death. Blessings that will cause your spiritual life to commit suicide and be cast into hell. You asked for a financial blessing that will kill you. This blessing if you receive it now will kill your spiritual life. Your heart still desires the things of this earth, which makes it dangerous for you to receive. When you are prepared spiritually you will receive, God knows your heart. When the desire to have material things dies within you to the point of never again caring for the things of the earth, God will give you everything you want. But when that time comes, it will not make any difference to you. When the things of the flesh are born of the spirit, there will be no negative action upon your life."

I understood what the angel said. Now I understand why many Christians who make many prayer campaigns have not yet received their blessings. And only after years do they receive. Others do not persevere and deviate because of it. When it comes to material things it takes time. Everything that is part of this world is dangerous. God gives blessings and will never deny His children. But everything has the right moment. The secret is the more spiritual you are, the more material things you will be blessed with. As long as the heart is trapped in the things of the earth, the blessing will be delayed.

ANGER.
The angel sent me back to earth. The heartache that I had in my heart was plucked by the angel. The angel took away the hurt in my heart. His hand entered my chest and pulled black mud from inside my heart. If you keep anger in your heart because of a person who made you suffer you will not be saved. Pray to God and forget it; ask Him to heal your heart. Nurturing anger in the heart condemns people and leads them to hell. In the torment is full of people with a heart full of rancor.

I went to preach the Gospel to the young man who murdered my son. And I also said that the boy he killed is my son. That young man became nervous and thought I would report him. I calmed down the boy and said that I have forgiven him for his crime. The young man cried because he did not expect my attitude of love, despite having killed my son. The young man asked me for forgiveness. He turned and bowed his knee, giving his life to Jesus. My love attitude caused more impact than 1,000 words.

That young man became a worker in my church. In one year God raised this man and he was never again the same. He was ashamed of his past and lamented for having caused pain in me that I was his shepherd. He helped me in the work and tried to fill the vacancy that my son left in the family. I told him that he does not have to sacrifice himself by wanting to fix something that will never be solved. I told him to stay in peace and worry about the work of God. He said goodbye to me and went to do the work in a distant country. And we never saw each other again.

Another fact that happened was with a missionary friend. He traveled through Latin America until one day his plane crashed. I questioned God that He allowed the missionary to die. Jesus appeared to me, I was praying at night when I was visited. He said, "Everyone on the plane went to hell, but My servant is here with Me, do not worry about him, he's in a better place than you. Worry about the lost souls that still live."
Jesus showed me a circle and inside it were several people walking. This circle is planet earth and crowds of people walked through the city.

The Lord said, "Son, these people do not know the way that walks, they look like lost children, orphans without parents. I love them all they are My creations. Look at these people with My eyes and feel how I feel about them."

Jesus touched me, I began to look at those people with a look of love. It was something so strong that it came out of the heart and sprouted from the soul, I felt the love of Jesus inside Him for every person on earth. All the love gathered together that parents feel for their children will still not exceed the love of Jesus. Even if you gather all the love of the whole world, it would still be minimal and cannot be compared to the love of Jesus.

Jesus said, "Take care of My flock with love and discipline for your good."
Jesus disappeared. I have a small message to the people of God. Church of Christ, try to put some things into practices. Take a day to give alms to a poor or homeless person. Take a day to clean the house of an impious person. Take a day to visit a sick person at the hospital. Take a day to thank God in your prayers and you will feel better. This is a testimony of overcoming that God has given me.
End~

SOME LESSONS ON FINANCES: 🚢 ⚓️

1. Must have EMERGENCY FUND - enough for 6 months of expenses/current lifestyle.

2. SAVE MONEY and MONEY WILL SAVE YOU. Don't save what is left after spending. Only spend what is left after saving.

3. Best to have ZERO DEBT, if you can't pay cash, you CAN'T AFFORD it, nothing beats PEACE OF MIND.

4. Avoid unnecessary spendings, forget sale price, everything is 100% off when you don't buy it. Don't waste your money on things that you don't need, even if they are cheap. EVERY PESO COUNTS!

5. Learn to BUDGET - it is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went!

6. If we buy things that we don't need, we will have to SELL THINGS THAT WE NEED.

7. PRETENDING TO BE RICH can make us poor. Must learn to live BELOW MEANS. Don't go broke trying to look rich. ACT YOUR WAGE.

8. MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING, but we cannot deny the fact that we NEED money for our FAMILY.

9. Always have a BACK-UP PLAN for life's uncertainties. Start having your personal LIFE INSURANCE with INVESTMENT.

10. Let's break the TOXIC FAMILY CULTURE about FINANCES. Your children is not your retirement fund, and your parents is not your emergency fund.

This person was trying to cut down this tree, eventually he got tired and slept under the same tree because of it shade. What lesson do we have to learn here?

1. Do not bite the finger that feeds you

2. Do not be in a hurry to destroy a person because you might need same person tomorrow

3. Never look down or despise anyone today they might be your helper tomorrow

4. Think before you talk or act

5. Always remember the little good people did to you before destroying them and their reputation

6. Consider showing mercy to those who offend you simply for a good turn they once obliged you

7. Nobody is useless.

The story teaches us to think good, do good, and expect good. It urges us to be inspired by the lessons of gratitude, patience, empathy, fairness, forgiveness, and recognizing the value in others. By embodying these principles, we can create a more harmonious and supportive environment for ourselves and those around us.

Inspiration & Hope / People With Good Heart
May 30, 2024, 09:54:15 PM

PEOPLE WITH GOOD HEART ❤️

Here's the thing about people with good hearts.

They give you excuses when you don't explain yourself.
They accept apologies you don't give them, even though you should.
They see the best in you when you don't need them to.

At worst they lift you up, even if it means putting their own priorities aside.
The words "too busy" does not exist in their vocabulary.
They make time even when you don't.

And you wonder why they are the most sensitive people.
You wonder why they're the most caring people.
You wonder why they are willing to give so much, without expecting anything in return.
You wonder why their existence is not so essential to your well-being.

It's because they don't let you work hard for the attention they give you.
They accept the love they think they've earned, and you think they're entitled too.

Let me tell you something.

Fear the day when a good heart gives up on you.
Our skies don't become gray out of nowhere.
Our sunshine does not allow darkness to take over for no reason.
A good heart does not turn cold, unless it's been treated with coldness for a while.

HAVE A GOOD HEART AND BE GOOD TO OTHERS

IF IT DOESNT PAY TODAY, IT WILL SURELY PAY TOMORROW 👌

MAY YOUR DAY BE BLESSED 🙏❤️

Philippine Government / Webinar on Road Traffic
May 29, 2024, 03:38:01 PM

[WEBINAR ALERT] The roads may be a very dangerous place at times. The number of road traffic deaths in the Philippines has been rising over the last ten years. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Report in 2021, the number of road traffic deaths increased by 39%, from 7,938 in 2011 to 11,096 deaths. According to the MMARAS data, out of the 72,000 road crashes in Metro Manila that were recorded in 2022, most of them were caused by road rage. Everyone has heard the term road rage, and most people have probably experienced some degree of it while driving.

To address the current issues surrounding road rage, a webinar entitled "Nag-iinit ka na ba? Baka ma-road rage ka!" will be conducted on May 29, 2024, Wednesday, 2:00–5:00 p.m. The webinar aims to raise awareness about road rage and its impacts on individuals and society and understand the triggers of road rage and learn coping strategies that drivers can use to prevent road rage incidents from occurring and escalating; enlighten the public about the different laws relating to road rage and promote safe driving practices and respectful behavior on the road that can contribute to a safer driving environment for everyone; and cite actual events of road rage and how they were handled.

On May 20, 1873: Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis Invented Blue Jeans

On May 20, 1873, San Francisco businessman Levi Strauss and Reno, Nevada, tailor Jacob Davis are given a patent to create work pants reinforced with metal rivets, marking the birth of one of the world's most famous garments: blue jeans.

Originally called "XX" as they were considered extra, extra strong, they have continued to be manufactured ever since, taking the world by storm. Originally they were called waist overalls or britches and sold as working wear to miners, cowboys and general workers in central California.
In 1890, they began to be termed "501's", after their "lot"number. The term "jeans" comes from the old name for a similar woven fabric from Genoa called "Gene fustian" in the 16th century. The material was used to make working trousers for sailors. It seems that the name "jeans" was so strongly associated with pants and trousers that it evolved from a fabric name into the name of a garment.

General Topic / GAF Napier Grass
May 18, 2024, 08:56:25 PM

GAF Napier grass offers several advantages as cattle feed:

1. Nutritional Value - Rich in nutrients and provides a good balance of essential vitamins and minerals necessary for the growth and health of cattle.

2. High Yield - Grows  quickly and produces high yields, which can help ensure a steady supply of feed throughout the year, reducing the need for purchasing additional feed.

3. Cost-Effective - More cost-effective compared to other forage options. Its ability to thrive in less fertile soils reduces the need for expensive soil amendments and fertilizers.

4. Soil Improvement - Helps improve soil structure and fertility by adding organic matter and preventing soil erosion. This can enhance the overall sustainability of the land used for cattle grazing.

5. Drought Resistance - Relatively  drought-resistant, making it suitable for areas with uncertain or limited rainfall, ensuring a reliable feed source during dry seasons.

6. Environmental Benefits - Can contribute to ecological balance, such as supporting biodiversity and rehabilitating degraded lands, aligning with environmentally friendly farming practices.

Facts and Trivia / Who is Cecilia Payne
May 17, 2024, 06:30:08 PM

"Since her death in 1979, the woman who discovered what the universe is made of has not so much as received a memorial plaque. Her newspaper obituaries do not mention her greatest discovery. [...] Every high school student knows that Isaac Newton discovered gravity, that Charles Darwin discovered evolution, and that Albert Einstein discovered the relativity of time. But when it comes to the composition of our universe, the textbooks simply say that the most abundant atom in the universe is hydrogen. And no one ever wonders how we know."
—
Jeremy Knowles, discussing the complete lack of recognition Cecilia Payne gets, even today, for her revolutionary discovery. (via alliterate)
OH WAIT LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT CECILIA PAYNE.
Cecilia Payne's mother refused to spend money on her college education, so she won a scholarship to Cambridge.
Cecilia Payne completed her studies, but Cambridge wouldn't give her a degree because at that time there's not much exposure for woman, so she said to heck with that and moved to the United States to work at Harvard.
Cecilia Payne was the first person ever to earn a Ph.D. in astronomy from Radcliffe College, with what Otto Strauve called "the most brilliant Ph.D. thesis ever written in astronomy."
Not only did Cecilia Payne discover what the universe is made of, she also discovered what the sun is made of (Henry Norris Russell, a fellow astronomer, is usually given credit for discovering that the sun's composition is different from the Earth's, but he came to his conclusions four years later than Payne—after telling her not to publish).
Cecilia Payne is the reason we know basically anything about variable stars (stars whose brightness as seen from earth fluctuates). Literally every other study on variable stars is based on her work.
Cecilia Payne was the first woman to be promoted to full professor from within Harvard, and is often credited with breaking the glass ceiling for women in the Harvard science department and in astronomy, as well as inspiring entire generations of women to take up science.
Cecilia Payne is awesome and everyone should know her.

🤙42 lessons life taught me 💖
It is something we should all read at least once a week! Make sure you read to the end!
Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio.
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 42 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short – enjoy it..

MIND MANAGEMENT NOT TIME MANAGEMENT 👌

1. Being productive today isn't about time management, it's about mind management.

2. Time management optimizes the resource of time. Mind management optimizes the resource of creative energy.

3. Not all hours are created equal: If you write for an hour a day, within a year you'll have a book. But you can't instead simply write for 365 hours straight, and get the same result.

4. The First Hour Rule is simply this: Spend the first hour of your day working on your most important project.

5. If you start your day working on the most important thing, there's less of a chance for other things to get in the way.

6. Sometimes your mind is better-suited to think creatively. Sometimes your mind is better-suited to think analytically.

7. The point of time is not to fill as much life as possible into a given unit of time. The point of time is to use time as a guide to living a fulfilling life.

8. A one-hour increase in average daily sleep raises productivity by more than a one-year increase in education.

9. When you randomly switch from one activity to another, your energy leaks...If you're doing that all the time, little of your energy is going toward traction.

10. A Harvard study found that the busier knowledge workers were, the less creative they were; this study found that as workers became more busy , they did less creative thinking activities such as; brainstorming. They reported fewer insights and their work was also rated as less creative by their colleagues .

11. Noise level can also affect your ability to think creatively...studies suggest that a background noise level of about seventy decibels is optimal for idea generation.

12. Things are not difficult to make; what is difficult is putting ourselves in the state of mind to make them.

STAY BLESSED 🙏❤️

"Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters" by Meg Meeker is a book that explores the critical role fathers play in the lives of their daughters and offers insights and advice on how fathers can positively influence their daughters' development.

Here are some key lessons from the book:

1. The Importance of Father-Daughter Relationships: Meeker emphasizes the profound impact fathers have on their daughters' self-esteem, confidence, and overall well-being. The book underscores the importance of nurturing strong, positive relationships between fathers and daughters from an early age.

2. Be Present and Engaged: Meeker stresses the importance of fathers being physically and emotionally present in their daughters' lives. Spending quality time together, actively listening, and being involved in their daughters' interests and activities helps build trust, connection, and a sense of security.

3. Model Healthy Relationships: Fathers serve as role models for their daughters' future relationships. Meeker encourages fathers to demonstrate respect, kindness, and healthy communication in their interactions with their daughters and other family members. This sets a positive example for how daughters should expect to be treated by others.

4. Encourage Independence and Self-Confidence: Fathers can empower their daughters by encouraging independence, resilience, and self-confidence. Meeker encourages fathers to support their daughters' interests and ambitions, and to provide guidance and encouragement as they navigate challenges and pursue their goals.

5. Promote Body Positivity and Self-Worth: In a culture that often places unrealistic expectations on girls' appearances, fathers play a crucial role in promoting body positivity and self-worth. Meeker advises fathers to praise their daughters for their character, intelligence, and talents, rather than focusing solely on physical appearance.

6. Set Boundaries and Provide Guidance: Meeker highlights the importance of fathers setting clear boundaries and providing guidance to help their daughters make healthy choices and navigate difficult situations. Fathers should communicate their expectations and values, while also being open to listening and offering support.

7. Stay Involved in Adolescence: As daughters enter adolescence, fathers may face new challenges in maintaining their connection. Meeker encourages fathers to stay involved and engaged, even as their daughters become more independent. This includes having open conversations about topics such as relationships, sexuality, and peer pressure.

8. Be a Source of Unconditional Love and Support: Above all, Meeker emphasizes the importance of fathers being a source of unconditional love and support for their daughters. Regardless of the challenges or mistakes their daughters may face, fathers should always be there to offer love, guidance, and encouragement.

"Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters" underscores the invaluable role fathers play in shaping their daughters' lives and offers practical guidance for fostering strong, positive relationships that empower daughters to thrive.

The Secret to Success

Once a young man asked the wise man, Socrates,  the secret to success. Socrates patiently listened to the man's question and told him to meet him near the river the next morning for the answer.

The next morning Socrates asked the young man to walk with him towards the river. As they went in the river  the water got up to their neck. But to the young man's surprise Socrates ducked him into the water.

The young man struggled to get out of the water, but Socrates was strong and kept him there until the boy started turning blue.

Socrates pulled the man's head out of the water. The young man gasps and took a deep breath of air.

Socrates asked, 'What did you want the most when your head was in the water?" The young man replied, "Air." Socrates said, "That is the secret to success. When you want success as badly as you wanted the air while you were in the water, then you will get it. There is no other secret."

Moral of the story:

A burning desire is the starting point of all accomplishment. Just like a small fire cannot give much heat, a weak desire cannot produce great results.

Philippine Business News / AirBnB Bust
April 15, 2024, 11:58:35 AM

The term **"Airbnbust"** refers to a phenomenon characterized by a rapid increase in the supply of vacation rentals on the Airbnb platform. Essentially, it's a situation where there are more listings available than there is demand from travelers. Let's explore this further:

1. **Increased Supply and Competition**:
   - Over the years, Airbnb has disrupted the hotel industry and created a new class of homebuyers: short-term rental speculators. These individuals purchased properties with the intention of renting them out on platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com.
   - Some hosts bought multiple properties, while others rented out portions of their own homes to make ends meet.
   - However, the market has become increasingly saturated, especially in popular tourist destinations. More hosts mean more listings, leading to intense competition for guests.
   - As a result, revenue per available room has dropped in certain areas, impacting hosts' earnings².

2. **Bifurcated Market**:
   - Despite the challenges faced by some hosts, the short-term rental business as a whole continues to grow.
   - In 2022, the number of nights booked at US short-term rentals reached a record high, along with total revenue.
   - The market is now bifurcated: a **bust** for some hosts experiencing decreased bookings and earnings, and a **boom** for others who are thriving.
   - Cities have taken different approaches: some allowed listings to multiply unchecked, leading to oversupply, while others capped permits to preserve existing hosts' profits.
   - Balancing tourism dollars and neighborhood concerns, local governments must decide how to regulate short-term rentals¹.

3. **Challenges for Hosts**:
   - Hosts like Joan Robertson, who invested in short-term rentals, have faced difficulties. Their once-profitable properties are now struggling to attract guests.
   - Factors contributing to the slowdown include increased competition, changing traveler preferences, and economic fluctuations.
   - Some hosts have seen revenue drop significantly, especially in specific locations like Orlando and Joshua Tree National Park.
   - The dream of easy income from short-term rentals has become more complex, requiring hosts to adapt and find new strategies to thrive².

In summary, the Airbnbust reflects the evolving landscape of short-term rentals. While challenges exist, the industry remains dynamic, with both winners and losers. Hosts must navigate this changing market by adjusting their approach and staying informed about trends and regulations³⁴. 🏡✨

Here are 10 lessons from the book:

1. Father-Daughter Bond: The father-daughter relationship plays a crucial role in a girl's emotional development and self-esteem. Schwartz highlights the significance of this bond and its lasting effects on daughters' lives.

2. Emotional Consequences: Father absence can lead to a range of emotional consequences for daughters, including feelings of abandonment, inadequacy, and low self-worth. Schwartz examines how these emotional wounds can affect girls' relationships and well-being into adulthood.

3. Impact on Identity: Fathers play a pivotal role in shaping their daughters' sense of identity and self-image. Schwartz explores how father absence can leave daughters searching for validation and approval from others, impacting their sense of self.

4. Attachment Issues: Father absence can result in attachment issues and difficulty forming healthy relationships. Schwartz discusses how daughters may struggle with trust, intimacy, and vulnerability due to unresolved father-daughter issues.

5. Interpersonal Patterns: Daughters may unconsciously seek out relationships that mirror their experiences with their absent fathers. Schwartz explores how father absence can influence daughters' interpersonal patterns and romantic choices.

6. Healing and Recovery: Recognizing the impact of father absence is the first step toward healing. Schwartz offers strategies for daughters to acknowledge and process their emotions, cultivate self-awareness, and engage in self-care to facilitate healing and recovery.

7. Forgiveness and Letting Go: Forgiveness can be a powerful tool for daughters to release anger and resentment toward their absent fathers. Schwartz discusses the importance of forgiveness in the healing process and letting go of past hurts to move forward.

8. Building Support Networks: Building a strong support network is essential for daughters coping with father absence. Schwartz encourages daughters to seek support from friends, family, therapists, and support groups to navigate their emotions and experiences.

9. Empowerment and Self-Empathy: Daughters can empower themselves by reclaiming their narratives and embracing self-compassion. Schwartz emphasizes the importance of self-empathy and self-love as daughters navigate their journeys of healing and self-discovery.

10. Breaking Generational Patterns: Breaking generational patterns of father absence requires conscious effort and self-awareness. Schwartz encourages daughters to cultivate healthy relationships, set boundaries, and prioritize their well-being to create a different legacy for future generations.

These lessons from "The Absent Father Effect on the Daughter" shed light on the profound impact of father absence on daughters' lives and offer insights into the journey of healing and self-empowerment.

Inspiration & Hope / Being at Peace
April 13, 2024, 08:00:12 PM

"Being at peace means that you no longer have the need to prove anything to anyone you don't need outside validation, you don't need to tell your side of the story anymore, even when you hear a dozen rumors that tell an untrue version, you used to guard your heart, but now you guard your peace.

Because you know your peace is worth more than proving yourself to anyone."

   - Interest Rate: **2.125% per annum**
   - Monthly Interest Income:

2. **Security Bank**²:
   - Interest Rate: **4.31% per annum** (for 1,000,000 – 2,999,999 pesos deposit)
   - Monthly Interest Income:
     $$ \frac{1,000,000 \times 0.0431}{12} = \text{PHP} 3,591.67 $$

Showbiz & Celebrity / Leah Salonga and Aga Muhlach
April 10, 2024, 02:47:52 PM

#GlitterChannel (Celebrity Life) ---- A REVELATION OF AGA MUHLACH TRUE FEELINGS HOW MUCH HE LOVED LEA SALONGA IN THE PAST

BY MARKIE ROBRIGADO

Each moviegoer was so in love after watching the movie hit "Sana Maulit Muli" in the 90's. The film starred by Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga, and their characters as "Agnes" and "Jerry" were very unforgettable.  They might have been together only through their team-up in two blockbuster movies, another movie was "Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal," but it looks like Lea Salonga really left a mark on Aga Muhlach's heart.

Muhlach popularity came back at that time after the movie became a box office hit, it's like tickets are selling like hotcakes, even his "Bagets" movie was also a massive success where Muhlach starred. Muhlach and Salonga were crowned as Box Office King and Queen that year.

Aga Muhlach is every woman's desire while Salonga was the world's darling songstress as her beautiful voice is like the "Bird of Adarna," they were a perfect match in every way. Yet despite all the favorable reasons for a lovely union, it just never happened. Even so, she melted the debonair's heart and made an imprint on him, enough to make him realize that she is "the one that got away. And she never knew."

A big revelation happened in 2013 when Muhlach wrote those words in a letter that was included in the "Playlist Souvenir Book. A Celebration of Lea Salonga's 35 years" published in 2013 for her 35th showbiz anniversary concert. Even today, the letter has been making rounds in social media, as netizens raved about the melt-your-heart words that the actor had for Salonga.

Muhlach confessed that, "She never knew how she saved me. It was 1992, and I was at the very bottom of the industry. I have nothing.  I had nothing. I had no money. I had no career career, but with 'Sana Maulit Muli' I made my comeback."

It was not until years after, through his letter, that the world knew how special Salonga really is to Muhlach. He looked up to her as a world-class talent. As Muhlach very poetically put it, "Her voice is clear as a bell and as breathtaking as the sunrise."

He also saluted Salonga's professionalism: "She is always on time." Meanwhile, he was always the late one: "I will always be the late Aga Muhlach.

Yet the second part of his letter confessed his love for Salonga. He said he loved her just as he did all the characters she's given life to in their movies.

She never knew how much I loved her. It was a lifetime ago, I was a young man on fire with passion, as all young men of a certain age are. I wooed fair ladies and dreamed of shaping the world. And, to me Lea was Sandy (Lea's character in Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal)—ethereal, aloof, unattainable; my very heart's desire."

"Lea was Agnes—vulnerable yet remote, kind yet callous, constantly engaged in a battle of wills. And I loved Andy and Agnes and Lea in equal measure."

Realizing that indeed, she "is the one that got away," she will always have that special place in his heart no matter the paths they've crossed and despite the years that passed.
"I love her still, but perhaps because she got away. I have her as a friend now, and so I will always have her. Anytime she needs me, I'm there for her, anytime I need her, she's there."
As he reached the end, he congratulated his "dear friend" for celebrating a career spanning over more than three decades: "You make our country proud. You make me proud."

During the filmming of their movie "Sana Maulit Muli" Muhlach also revealed that he had intention to court Lea Salonga but he had no guts at that time for the reasons that Salonga was so popular as international theater star while he was just making a comeback with nothing. As Muhlach admitted in the middle of their filmming, he fell in love with Lea and every dialogue that he threw to Agnes (Lea's character in the movie), he felt that it was really him telling his affection to Salonga. He felt that he was so much in love with Lea, that he was so happy telling the girl that he loved about his real affection. For some reasons, Muhlach doesn't want to destroy the relationship he had with Lea. As per him, it is like your best friend that you fell in love with her but you can't admit your true feelings because it will destroy your good relationship with her as friends. Muhlach sincerely added that he always thought Lea night and day and wanted to be with Lea everyday but he was contented at that time being with Lea in the last part of their filming and all the promos of their movie. When Lea asked by one of the press about the real status between her and Aga, Salonga told the Press that, it made her day completed when she was with Muhlach but the guy will do the first move and the rest will follow. Muhlach and Salonga remained as true friends and kept their true feelings they had for each other even during their next movie "Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal," they never admitted that they had feelings but they knew they had special place in their heart and loved each other.

In Muhlach closing, he professed his love for her and congratulated them both in advance on a supposed third movie.

"All good things come in threes, di ba? Kaya... sana maulit muli." (Right? That's why I hope happens again.)

In the 1990s, Press released are everywhere that  Muhlach had a much talked-about relationship with no less than Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres so Salonga didn't comment about it in all her interviews about her projects.  There was also a press released that Aga doesn't like Lea and Muhlach chose Torres over her.

Oddly enough, the letter went viral recently as enamored netizens and fans kept reposting it nowadays.

The Davao Regional Trial Court has issued a warrant of arrest against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC), along with five others, on charges related to child abuse. The court's decision comes after a reasonable amount of time has passed without receiving a resolution on the motion for reconsideration filed by Quiboloy's camp before the Department of Justice regarding the initial arrest warrant issued in March. Senator **Risa Hontiveros**, Chair of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality, confirmed this development.

The warrant specifies charges of **sexual abuse** and **child abuse** under **Section 5 (b)** and **Section 10 (a)** of the **Republic Act 7610**, also known as the **Anti-Child Abuse Law**. Quiboloy's co-accused include **Jackielyn Roy**, **Cresente Canada**, **Paulene Canada**, **Ingrid Canada**, and **Sylvia Cemañes**. While Cresente Canada was apprehended by the National Bureau of Investigation, Paulene Canada and Sylvia Cemañes voluntarily surrendered to the NBI on Wednesday afternoon. All three posted bail, with amounts set at **P80,000** each.

However, **Jackielyn Roy** and **Ingrid Canada** remain at large. Notably, last month, the Senate also issued a separate warrant of arrest against Quiboloy for failing to appear in the investigation related to alleged human rights abuses.

Certainly! Developing effective sales strategies for a solar power company in the Philippines involves a combination of market understanding, relationship-building, and targeted approaches. Here are some steps to consider:

1. **Market Research and Analysis**:
   - Understand the local energy landscape in the Philippines. Identify potential customers, competitors, and regulatory frameworks.
   - Analyze solar adoption trends, government incentives, and environmental awareness.

2. **Segmentation and Targeting**:
   - Divide the market into segments (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial).
   - Prioritize segments based on potential growth, energy demand, and feasibility for solar adoption.

3. **Value Proposition**:
   - Clearly define the benefits of solar energy (cost savings, environmental impact, reliability) for potential clients.
   - Tailor your value proposition to address specific pain points of each customer segment.

4. **Partnerships and Alliances**:
   - Collaborate with local businesses, NGOs, and government agencies.
   - Partner with construction companies, real estate developers, and architects to integrate solar solutions into new projects.

5. **Sales Channels**:
   - Leverage both direct and indirect channels:
     - **Direct Sales**: Hire a skilled sales team to engage with potential clients.
     - **Channel Partners**: Work with local distributors, installers, and retailers.
     - **Online Platforms**: Utilize digital marketing and e-commerce.

6. **Education and Awareness**:
   - Conduct workshops, webinars, and community events to educate potential customers about solar benefits.
   - Address misconceptions and provide accurate information.

7. **Pricing and Financing**:
   - Offer competitive pricing structures.
   - Explore financing options (e.g., leasing, pay-as-you-go models) to make solar more accessible.

8. **After-Sales Support**:
   - Provide excellent customer service.
   - Offer maintenance contracts and warranties.

9. **Marketing and Branding**:
   - Create a strong brand presence through online and offline marketing.
   - Highlight successful case studies and testimonials.

10. **Monitoring and Feedback**:
    - Continuously monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
    - Gather feedback from customers to improve services.

Remember that the Philippines has abundant sunlight, making it an ideal market for solar energy. By tailoring your strategies to local needs and building strong relationships, you can achieve sales growth and contribute to sustainable energy solutions. 🌞🔌💡

Love Talk / Emotionally Intelligent Person
April 02, 2024, 09:47:50 AM

The emotionally intelligent person knows that love is a skill, not a feeling, and will require trust, vulnerability, generosity, humor, sexual understanding, and selective resignation. The emotionally intelligent person awards themselves the time to determine what gives their working life meaning and has the confidence and tenacity to try to find an accommodation between their inner priorities and the demands of the world. The emotionally intelligent person knows how to hope and be grateful, while remaining steadfast before the essentially tragic structure of existence. The emotionally intelligent person knows that they will only ever be mentally healthy in a few areas and at certain moments, but is committed to fathoming their inadequacies and warning others of them in good time, with apology and charm. There are few catastrophes, in our own lives or in those of nations, that do not ultimately have their origins in emotional ignorance. ~Alain de Botton

10 strategies chocolate professionals are using to fight rising cocoa prices:

Reduce the cost of PACKAGING
We will start to see more rustic and simple packaging from those professionals who want to lower costs without lowering the quality of their chocolate.

DIVERSIFY the portfolio
Semi-finished products like cacao nibs, mass and husks don't cost as much to produce as chocolate bars, but can give customers the same cacao satisfaction.

Look for new SUPPLIERS
With the price of bulk cacao getting close to the price of specialty cacao, chocolate professionals are revisiting their suppliers' list to get more bang for their bucks.

Add INGREDIENTS to use less cacao
While keeping cacao as the main protagonist, chocolate professionals are enriching their creations with fun and trendy inclusions.

Choose QUALITY over quantity
Assortments may shrink to favor those chocolate creations with higher profit margins, a luxury perception and more intrinsic value.

🪙 Increase recurring CLIENTS
Professionals are creating loyalty programs, exclusive access to specific products, monthly subscriptions and limited releases to keep their loyal customers satisfied and eager for more.

Sharpen the MARKETING skills
Chocolate professionals have finally woken up to the power of reels, video content, sponsored posts, influencer marketing, storytelling and an overall more curated online image.

Be TRANSPARENT with customers
Chocolate professionals are choosing to have an open and honest communication with their customers, which includes explaining the inevitable rise in price of their products.

Reduce the SHIPPING zone
Between rising shipping costs and unreliable delivery times, some international orders are not even worth shipping out. Some professionals have decided to keep their shipping local/national and to incentivize pick up orders right at their factory.

️ COLLABORATE with fine food and drink brands. Chocolate professionals reaching out to other artisans to create synergis beneficial to both parties.

What are you doing in your chocolate company to fight rising cocoa prices?

Senator Imee Marcos called on her brother's administration to adopt a more diplomatic approach in dealing with China amid the escalating tensions in the West Philippine Sea. The Philippine government's debt servicing surged in January as interest and amortization payments increased, according to the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr). Key officials of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) are being sent to the grassroots to engage and attract more partners, particularly local governments. Pope Francis on Sunday gave Easter Mass with tens of thousands of Catholics at Saint Peter's Square in Vatican City before his traditional blessing, as concerns persist over his health.
