The social network Facebook played a great role in connecting the murdered Boholana’s close friends and relatives many of whom contacted the Fil-Am community in Georgia. The latter provided assistance to Antasuda and her daughter, with their respective partners, the moment they arrived in Atlanta last Wednesday (13 Oct 2010). They were even surprised that they were instructed to jump the queue and go straight to where the diplomats get cleared when visiting the U.S. Thanks to a Fil-Am’s husband who works with the US Immigration. The Fil-Am community also provided religious service, legal assistance and other needs of the bereaved family.
Tita was working with the Department of Agriculture in Georgia’s capital.
As of last Thursday a cremation was planned so that Antasuda can bring her sister’s remains with her to UK.
