I know and the good citizens of Bohol knew that these would happened about the relief. We can be forever pointing fingers of who's who,not doing their job. Some people would suffer the lack of food and water before help arrived.Me personally I am lucky my town was not as bad as other towns, but there is something one can do.Like I pick one barrio to help and I picked Wolfpacks place because they needed help. Not much 5 sacks of rice, lots of water and noodles and goodies for kids...You call me bragging for telling but I am just giving a point that we have to help one another...Small help goes a long way.
My condolences and prayers goes out to the one family who's house fell  that leads to  their horrific  death .It is horrible.

Thank you Dong. You're always the caring one.God Bless.

I think we Filipinos tend to forget in  a split second once we see a camera. What register in our minds is " smile".In fact today I made a copy of pictures taken last week with a group of friends in a hospital ,with our friend  who was dying of cancer.{ She died 2 days ago }We gathered around her and what did we do?I was horrified when my husband seen the pics and asked why are we all smiling ? I think Eppie would understand for she loves picture taking. We loved her so much and we will missed her.

The mother-child relationship is paradoxical and,in a sense, tragic. It requires the most intense love on the mother's side, yet this very love must help the child grow away from the mother and to become fully independent.

It is easy enough to tell the poor to accept their poverty as God's will when you yourself have warm clothes and plenty of food and medical care and a roof over your head and no worry about the rent. But if you want them to believe you-try to share some of their poverty and see if you can accept it as God's will yourself.

I went out this weekend with a friend,it was rainy. Here I was ready to park behind a Chevy Avalanche {thank God no individulas inside},my foot slip from the brake and it happened  so fast  with panic hit the gas instead! I told my friend how many times I drove in major highway in and out,and here's a vehicle parked I hit.Next time I told my hubby I would buy a Chevy Avalanche, this truck barely has a scratch while my 2010 Nissan Titan V8 front bumper is badly damaged. What a bummer!

Amen to that! I have been called prejudiced in my party because I invited only visaya group.I explained to my friends that even one person in a group speaks tagalog ,then everyone is speaking tagalog. It ruins the fun of listening the jokes and conversation in visayan dialect.Plus I am ashamed to admit that I  more fluent in english than Tagalog. I don't even know when to use the Ho & the Po. :-[

Touching story...The 16 year old has a lot of love for two mothers. As for the adopted mom it is understandable for a stab of jealousy. She could have start a life in U.S. passing this 16 year old as her real daughter and no one would knew. She never kept it a secret from the girl, and knew this would happen one day...Salute to the adopted mom who raised  a child who is caring...

Tião was a chimpanzee from the Rio de Janeiro Zoo, who was a candidate for the office of mayor in Rio de Janeiro, in 1988. Representing the “Brazilian Banana Party,” the event was a farce perpetrated by the comedy duo Casseta & Planeta, who gave the campaign the slogan “Vote Monkey, Get Monkey.” The chimp, who also gained notoriety for throwing feces at various politicians at the zoo, ultimately received over 400,000 of the votes, or about 9.5%. All of these were officially recorded as “null” but it was enough for him to finish in a respectable third place. -- http://listverse.com/

Language has created the word ' loneliness ' to express the pain of being alone, and the word  'solitude ' to express the glory of being alone.

Some people are now thinking of conspiracy theories.I would never forget the day when  the twin towers was hit .I was watching the news and suddenly was interrupted because of a plane hitting the towers. My instant reaction was,Oh my God it is terrorism.I watch it play by play, smoke coming out and people jumping from the building and people running on the streets, screaming and crying. It was horrible to watch. And for Bin Laden to laugh about it? Guess what... he can run but he can't hide.I don't want to see his dead photos.I don't wish for anybody or anyone dead... but an eye for an eye,and a tooth for a tooth.
