The holy land as written killed hundreds of helpless civilian and mostly were children in Gaza, Israeli forces showed that they have the best armament in the world by pounding their enemy, the Hamas as their target can't be located instead helpless children were hit, how can they justify the war to Gaza when most of the cassualties were the helpless populace.

I-apil man sila og bomba sa Israel.
There was a time that they were really a good comrpomise from the peace seeking politicians from Israel. the European Union supported building the Palestine anew. An amount of 5 million Euros was released to build a new and modern airport, dis-a man ni  padolong ang kwarta? The money which was given to them are taxes from the European members.
There are no journalists allowed to report about the war. We are getting reports from the Israeli Military press. Who would check if what they are telling is true? At the other side, Hamas are releasing pictures of dead children, bombed schools and houses but no Hamas or Palestines with their high weaponry, kay ma-bisto nga adunay naga supply nila. So its not wise to believe what you see in the news.
Sad to say this is an endless enmity.

The excavation of smuggling tunnels in the Rafah area began in 1982, subsequent to the division of the city between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. Since then, the tunnels have been used to smuggle foreign currency, weapons, clothes, cigarettes, narcotics, alcohol, auto parts, electronic items, and prostitutes from Egyptian Rafah to the Palestinian areas of the Gaza Strip.

Due to the exorbitant prices charged for the transport of illicit goods, the smuggling industry often constitutes a primary source of income for entire families in the area. As such, tunnel entrances are frequently dug under the houses of Rafah residents.

The average smuggling tunnel is approximately 500 meters in length, and dozens of meters deep. Smuggling tunnels may be equipped with wood-paneling, electrical infrastructure, communications gear, and rudimentary elevators.

"These tunnels are not just foxholes," said Maj. Ron Edelheit, an Israeli Army spokesman. "They are very complicated structures. They're long. They have electricity. They have trails and tracks going through them."

Stretching as far as three quarters of a mile, the underground interstate is big enough for a barnyard of livestock to be smuggled through.

That's not what bothers Israel.

"Food? Who cares; but when we talk about bombs and rockets and TNT and C4 and you name it, that terrorizes the Israeli population that surrounds it, this is not something the state of Israel can live by," Edelheit said.

To win the war, Israel says it needs to stop the smuggling of arms and explosives.

Military sources believe aerial bombardment so far has destroyed about 200 tunnels. But 100 more may still be in use.

Since September 2000, the intricate network of smuggling tunnels under the Philadelphi Route has functioned as an import conduit for a significant amount of diverse weapons utilized by Palestinian terrorist groups, including:
RPG rockets and launchers
Explosives
Rifles (primarily AK-47 Kalashnikovs)
Cartridges, bullets and other ammunition
In August 2005, Israel and Egypt finalized an agreement regarding the deployment of approximately 750 Egyptian border guards along the Philadelphi route. The agreement stipulated that Israel withdraw from the 12 kilometer-long route (which was created to prevent arms smuggling into the Gaza Strip) shortly after the disengagement. The agreement was subsequently ratified by the Knesset and Egyptian troops deployed along Philadelphi in September. 2

However, it should be noted that Egypt continues to turn a blind eye towards Palestinian weapons smuggling.

The liberal news media has always been anti-Israel. Anti-Jewish. These terrorist organizations either they be Hamas, Hezbollah, etc have within their platform and goal; the destruction of the state of Israel.

The Islamic Madras throughout the Middle East pronounce and reiterate the destruction of the Jews and the state of Israel.

Israel is surrounded, and is forced to defend itself in order to secure the existence of its nationhood and for the security of its people.

These Arab nations have threatened Israel before in 3 wars. And in all three wars, Israel has humbled all of those who would threaten her existence.

Israel has the right to defend itself; and these cowards who call themselves freedom fighters--are not brave, but cowards. Who are dubious enough to plot bombs and suicide attacks inside Israel--and when Israel unleashes its retaliation--are themselves cowards who hide behind the innocents.

I support Israel. The Israeli government. And the Jewish people. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

God Bless IS'RA-EL

The soldiers are told before they go to war not to think twice in killing a Palestine, if you don´t do it now, this person might kill the next of your generation, kill or be killed.

Benjamin Netanyahu gave an interview and was asked about Israel 's occupation of Arab lands -- his response was "It's our land."  The reporter (CNN or the like) was stunned -- read on.

Here are overlooked facts in the current Middle East  situation.   These were compiled by a Christian university professor.

BRIEF FACTS ON THE ISRAELI CONFLICT TODAY....  ( It takes just 1.5 minutes to read!!!! )

It makes sense and it's not slanted.  Jew and non-Jew -- it doesn't matter.

    1. Nationhood and Jerusalem.  Israel  became a nation in 1312 B.C.E. Two thousand years before the rise of Islam.

    2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel .

    3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 B.C.E., the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.

    4. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 C.E. Lasted no more than 22 years.

    5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital.  Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity.  Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.

    6.  Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures.   Jerusalem  is not mentioned once in the Koran.

    7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem.  Mohammed never came to Jerusalem.

    8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem.  Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem.

    9. Arab and Jewish Refugees: In 1948 the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews.  Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.

    10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms.

    11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 630,000.  The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to be the same.

    12. Arab refugees were INTENTIONALLY not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own peoples' lands.  Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger than the state of New Jersey.

    13. The Arab - Israeli Conflict: The Arabs are represented by eight separate nations, not including the Palestinians. There is only one Jewish nation.  The Arab nations initiated all five wars and lost.   Israel defended itself each time and won.

    14. The P.L.O.'s Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel.  Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank land, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them.

    15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship.  Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.

    16. The U.N. Record on Israel and the Arabs: of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel.

    17. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990, 429 were directed against  Israel.

    18. The U.N was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues were destroyed by the Jordanians.

    19. The U.N. Was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives.

    20. The U.N. Was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like a policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount  and the Western Wall.

What can you do?  What will you tell your grandchildren what you did when there was a turning point in Jewish destiny, an opportunity to make a difference?

They know that Israel possess an elite and disciplined group. Their intelligence are better than that of CIA. The best of the dismantled KGB are the brightest Jews which are now in Israel. Israel are calling its people to come home.

My sympathy does not fly for these terrorists and harborers of terrorism. In September 11, 2001, when the Jihadist fundamentalists of Al Qaeda attacked the Word Trade Centers, and the Pentagon; they killed over 3,000+ American innocents.

And I remember watching news channels in CNN, BBC, MSNBC, FOX documenting Muslims in Gaza, West Bank, in Iraq, in Iran, in Syria, in Saudi shouting with joy, dancing and shouting, "Allah Ackbar".

It is something to be proud of to see innocents die? Suicide and Murder?

My side is with IS'RA-EL. The People of God. The flock whom Christ Jesus Our Lord and Saviour was born from. God In The Flesh.

God Bless Zion and Peace to HIS people, IS'RA-EL.

I do believe that the Jews are chosen people. Together they are strong. We could learn from them. If we try to help one another thru networking we could achieve and help one another also through the grace of God.

It is written in history. All those who curse Israel, God will also Curse.

The Spaniards tried to suppress the Jewish people in their Reconquista; killed Jews who would not revoke their faith; in an effort to eradicate Jewish presence.
-In the end, Spain's empire has fallen. And The Jew remains a Jew. Faithful and Strong.

The Nazis tried to completely exterminate the Jew. Killing over 12 million in Europe
-In the end, Nazi Germany was pounded to submission by the allies; and the Jew survived his 'almost' extermination. Only to rise in numbers and found IS'RA-EL

When Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, etc and all other Arab nations tried to destroy IS'RA-EL in 3 wars, in all 3 wars they were defeated. IS'RA-EL completely annihilated their air forces, and routed their armies.

The Roman Empire destroyed Jerusalem in Tiberius', forcing Jews into Diasporra from their homeland. Romans persecuted Jews.
-In the end, Rome fell in AD 400 and Latin itself remains a dead language.
And in the End, the very same Jew which Rome tried to eradicate and stamp out--came back and was established as a nation again in the mid 20th century. 2000 years after Rome tried to destroy her.

God is with IS'RA-EL.
History has made precedent of that.

They are a shrimp among whales. Surrounded by giants.

But remember that even a small and frail sheppard can take down a mighty giant.

David took down Goliath with a mere stone. As GOD ALMIGHTY was with Him.

UPDATE

Hamas and Hezbollah have announced a request for ceasefire with Israel.

Israel has also imposed a unilateral ceasefire; but stated that it reserves the right to go back inside if Hamas fires rockets into and inside Israel. A spokesperson said, "If no rockets are fired into Israel, then we shall not go inside."

They know that Israel possess an elite and disciplined group. Their intelligence are better than that of CIA. The best of the dismantled KGB are the brightest Jews which are now in Israel. Israel are calling its people to come home.
MOSSAD, the israeli intelligence agency is the best in the business. better than the CIA of the states and KGB of russia

^ The Israeli Intelligence effectively hunted down every single Nazi responsible for the 'Final Solution' who migrated to South America to evade justice.

The Israeli Defense Forces on Wednesday morning completed its pullout from Gaza as the last troops left the Strip. Soldiers deployed along the border in order to provide a quick response should the need arise.

Violence marred the cease-fire in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday as Hamas gunmen fired mortar shells into Israel and opened fire on IDF troops who remained inside the Palestinian territory.

In the afternoon, IAF aircraft bombed a mortar launcher in the Gaza Strip that had been used hours earlier to fire some eight mortar shells into the Negev. It was the first air strike against Gaza since Israel unilaterally implemented a cease-fire there on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Gaza gunmen fired at IDF patrols in two separate incidents that marked the first violations of the cease-fire Hamas accepted on Sunday after the IDF began withdrawing its forces from Gaza. ( The Jerusalem Post

Strange burns'

Hundreds were killed in the 22-day Israeli offensive, but it is the manner in which Sabah's relatives lost their lives, and the weapon used, that has attracted attention.

Sabah's family say Israeli troops wrote an apology in Arabic on their wall

Sabah herself has suffered terrible burns on her arms, legs and torso and is considerable pain.

"There was fire, and so much white smoke," she says. "The missile melted my children. My daughter-in-law melted in front of my eyes."

Dr Nafiz Abu Shabaan, the head of the unit in which Sabah is being treated, says he has seen many victims with what he described as "strange burns".

"These burns were very severe, very deep, and became deeper and wider over time," he says. "In some cases, smoke came out of the wound, even after hours."

The cause of these types of injuries is believed, by visiting medical officials, to be Israel's use of shells containing white phosphorus.

Incendiary weapon

In another part of the city, at a former security compound flattened by the Israeli bombardment, Marc Garlasco, senior military analyst at Human Rights Watch, points out evidence that white phosphorus had been used.

Thus the word of the LORD came to me:
16
Now, son of man, take a single stick, and write on it: Judah and those Israelites who are associated with him. Then take another stick and write on it: Joseph (the stick of Ephraim) and all the house of Israel associated with him.
17
Then join the two sticks together, so that they form one stick in your hand.
18
When your countrymen ask you, "Will you not tell us what you mean by all this?",
19
answer them: Thus says the Lord GOD;  I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and of the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will join to it the stick of Judah, making them a single stick; they shall be one in my hand.
20
The sticks on which you write you shall hold up before them to see.
21
Tell them: Thus speaks the Lord GOD;  I will take the Israelites from among the nations to which they have come, and gather them from all sides to bring them back to their land.
22
I will make them one nation upon the land, in the mountains of Israel, and there shall be one prince for them all. Never again shall they be two nations, and never again shall they be divided into two kingdoms.
23

No longer shall they defile themselves with their idols, their abominations, and all their transgressions. I will deliver them from all their sins of apostasy, and cleanse them so that they may be my people and I may be their God.
24
My servant David shall be prince over them, and there shall be one shepherd for them all; they shall live by my statutes and carefully observe my decrees.
25
They shall live on the land which I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where their fathers lived; they shall live on it forever, they, and their children, and their children's children, with my servant David their prince forever.
26
I will make with them a covenant of peace; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them, and I will multiply them, and put my sanctuary among them forever.
27
My dwelling shall be with them; I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28
Thus the nations shall know that it is I, the LORD, who make Israel holy, when my sanctuary shall be set up among them forever.

--Ezekiel 37: 15-28

The liberal news media has always been anti-Israel. Anti-Jewish. These terrorist organizations either they be Hamas, Hezbollah, etc have within their platform and goal; the destruction of the state of Israel.

The Islamic Madras throughout the Middle East pronounce and reiterate the destruction of the Jews and the state of Israel.

Israel is surrounded, and is forced to defend itself in order to secure the existence of its nationhood and for the security of its people.

These Arab nations have threatened Israel before in 3 wars. And in all three wars, Israel has humbled all of those who would threaten her existence.

wait, wait, I don't understand, when the media is hated by the right, we always accuse it being ran by our Jewish population, now when the media is reporting Palestinian civilian casualties on the ground, they are now labeled anti-Jewish.

I hope we can try to understand at least both sides by critically reflecting on its history. Bottom line is that over 600 human beings have perished due to violence. I have still a lot to learn about the Palestinian/Israeli conflict so if anyone has any life experiences about this, please share.

The little history I do know: the formation of the Israeli state has roots in the occupation by the British, French and Italian nations (having occupied the territories after WWI).

Britain's declaration of the state of Israel postponed/disregarded the current Arab population's request for nationhood.  (Does this sound like Philippine Revolution deja-vu?) Once Israel's nationhood was recognized, the 6-day war occured, and massive amounts of Arabs were displaced creating the Palestinian refugee communities, destroying their economy and way of life.

Now the effects of this quagmire has polarized every facet of life in both communities where it is a culture to degrade the other. And the people who suffer the most are the children. Here is a documentary that depicts daily lives of children in Palestine: (the British director was sadly gunned down by Israeli troops)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06655i1Z-p0

Now I am no way disregarding the fact that there are many Arab nations who wish to destroy the state of Israel, and not debating the topic of sovereignty. But Israeli's occupation of Palestine---it's policies and development--- are simply unjust and inhumane.  Why does Palestine have to resort to militant conflict and not political ones?

Death/Martyrdom is a way of life for the Palestinian people and just like with the rise of the Black Power militants in the US, the Hamas organization appeals to the desperate situation of the Palestinian people and sadly it is the only party that takes a stand on their social needs.

Until somehow there is a way to address the dire social injustices happening in Palestine, people will always resort to violence.  Until somehow there is a change in rhetoric and culture in valuing human lives, there will always be violence, whether through Palestinian rocket launchers or Israeli tanks and air-strikes.

To label this situation as merely defending Israeli sovereignty turns a blind eye to social injustice, human rights and condones more violence. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Ghandi are surely rolling in their graves.  Where does the Christian rule of "love thy enemy" come into play?

To apply this situation to us, what would happen if we displaced all our Moro peoples in Mindanao? Or if it was Philippine state policy to roll tanks every 24-hrs in their villages, have designated curfew times, and establish border check points throughout your town?

Hamas has 'overwhelming responsibility' for Gaza war: EU
Mehdi Lebouachera
January 26, 2009 - 11:39PM

A senior EU official touring Gaza on Monday blasted the "abominable" destruction in the enclave and said its "terrorist" Hamas rulers bear overwhelming responsibility for the war.

"It is abominable, indescribable," Louis Michel, European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid, told reporters in Gaza after touring some of the worst-hit places of Israel's deadly 22-day assault on the territory.

"At this time we have to also recall the overwhelming responsibility of Hamas," he said. "I intentionally say this here -- Hamas is a terrorist movement and it has to be denounced as such."

"In order for the EU to relaunch a political dialogue with a minimal chance of succeeding and a chance of moving forward towards peace, Hamas must accept the two little conditions that were put to it -- one, the right of Israel to exist and two that it abandon the armed struggle, the terrorist dimension of its approach."

Blasting the scale of destruction in Gaza, Michel said the European Union, the main donor to the Palestinians, was sick of paying for the same infrastructure that's destroyed over and over again.

"Public opinion is fed up to see that we are paying over and over again -- be it the (European) commission, the member states or the major donors -- for infrastructure that will be systematically destroyed," said Michel, known for his critical comments about Israel.

He said the bloc had approved nearly 60 additional million euros in aid to Palestinians in the wake of the Gaza offensive.

"Since 2000, Europe has spent three billion euros in Palestine," he said. "Every year, we spend 600 to 700 million euros. Today we decided on a supplementary payment of 60 million euros.

Thirty-two million euros would be allocated to Gaza, 20 to the West Bank and six million to the refugees, he said.

"All we do is pay. You know very well that from time to time we pay several times for the same infrastructure that is regularly demolished."

"Europe is doing all that it can, but unfortunately it cannot do any more. Show me a political body or an institution that is more engaged than Europe in helping the people of Palestine, because I'm not aware of one.

He said reconstruction was going to be difficult, voiced hope of a "sustainable and durable ceasefire" around the territory and urged Israel to open Gaza's border crossings to facilitate rebuilding efforts.

"It goes well beyond what I imagined. I didn't doubt that it would be serious. It is going to be extremely difficult to reconstruct and it will no doubt cost an enormous amount of money to bring people to decent living conditions," he said.

Israel must open Gaza's border crossings, which have been sealed to all but basic humanitarian aid since the Islamist Hamas, sworn to the destruction of the Jewish state, seized power in the territory in June 2007.

"The access really must be complete and not just medicine and food, we need goods in order to restart the minimal economic activity -- including fuel, spare parts, cement, all that will little by little permit a rebuilding of minimal living conditions," said Michel.

Michel planned to travel to Israel later on Monday.
