I was thinking about the Apology of Socrates to the group of Judges during his trial, and it seemed to me like he came across as arrogant, maybe even a little nutty. But then again that's how he appeared to the entire court. Basically my question is, why wasn't Socrates more apologetic and not defiant to the court?
