Mission Statement
To generate valuable and effective courses of actions, strategies, plans and structures employing advanced and appropriate expertise, technologies, knowledge and machineries under a participatory and democratic process for the advancement and growth of Boholanos in the following sectors:
1. Agriculture
A strong and unequivocal commitment to fast track the agricultural development of the province as a means of securing food stability as well as providing economic opportunities to all Boholano households and to promote backyard gardening with the end in view of achieving the coveted “food for every table†ideal.
2. Health
Accessible and affordable public health care services and programs geared towards securing optimum human productivity and unleashing the potential of every Boholano.
3. Environment
A proactive and straightforward attitude in the implementation of environmental laws and an aggressive campaign on environmental protection and preservation to establish heightened awareness and sustained advocacy for the environment on all levels of society.
4. Education
A holistic approach of improving the quality of education by providing the needed infrastructure and I.T. support and by ensuring continuous learning and development of public school teachers to make them more qualified and more competent.
5. Good Governance
Efficient delivery of government services distinguished by good fiscal management, public accountability and transparency duly guided by values of integrity, honesty, innovation and cooperation.
6. Infrastructure Development
Able to provide strategic infrastructure and facilities to support agriculture, tourism, micro-enterprises and cooperatives thereby creating a conducive atmosphere for investment and the generation of jobs and livelihood for the marginalized Boholanos.
7. Peace and Order
A collaborative effort of local government units (provincial, municipal and barangays), private sector, non-government organizations (NGOs), people’s organizations, stakeholders, police and military authorities, civil society and the church in making sure that communities are safe and people are secured on their person and properties.
8. Culture and Arts
A unified approach in the preservation, conservation, protection, enhancement and development of the rich and treasured culture, tradition, customs, practices and rituals of the Boholanos with a deep sense of focus in the advancement and strengthening of homegrown talents.
9. Youth and Sports
To get involve all sectors of society down to the smallest level in ensuring much-needed teamwork and cooperation to provide hands-on and sound approaches, programs and projects towards youth and sports development thereby inculcating in the process a sense of idealism, independence, maturity and self-reliance for the next generation of Boholanos.
10. Senior Citizen & People with Disabilities
To create a healthier and improved environment for the elderly, the disabled and the marginalized sectors of society thereby giving them the necessary support in achieving their full potentials as human beings.
