true, jun. it's just that i find it difficult to come to terms with the possibility of someone who is currently involved in showbiz matters and intrigues may serve a high position in government, which is supposedly a serious position.

as for his being gay, it's just a fodder for jokes and these should be taken simply as jokes, not as a judgment of his person. but in the unlikely event that he does take a cabinet position, you can be sure there will be more jokes about his being gay.
