KABAYAN PARTY-LIST SUPPORTS SAP BONG GO AND ICONIC ARTIST FREDDIE AGUILAR IN THEIR SENATE BIDS

KABAYAN Party-list will back Special Assistant to the President Secretary Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Tesoro Go and Ferdinand Pascual “Ka Freddie” Aguilar should they decide to run and file their candidacies for senator.

We support them because they have empathy and rapport with ordinary Filipinos. They are exemplars because of their success in their chosen fields.

Bong Go’s expertise is on local government and government service having been the reliable executive assistant and personal aide of then Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte since 1998.

Ka Freddie Aguilar is a “national treasure” and a freedom advocate. He is known for his rendition of "Bayan Ko” which became one of the anthems during the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution. His song "Anak” is one of the best-selling Philippine music records of all time. It became an international hit and was translated into at least 26 languages.

They are a good fit with the advocacies and constituencies of KABAYAN Party-list. We need advocates like them in the Senate who have grassroots bases and advocacies that fit with the KABAYAN agenda.

KABAYAN Party-list looks forward to working with them on our legislative priorities including our pending bills.
