1972 Winter Games: The Philippines competed in the Winter Olympic Games for the first time at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, Japan with two athletes who competed in alpine skiing.

Athletes: Juan Cipriano and Ben Nanasca, (Alpine Skiing) Giant Slalom and Slalom

Ben Nanasca ranked no. 42 in Giant Slalom, Juan Cipriano was DNF; both were DNF in Slalom
