A joint project of the LGU and the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation (SKMF) headed by Loon SKMF president Ivaraxel Ericsson in support of the ESWM Program of the municipality, the Recycle Market will buy recycled empty bottles, cans, plastics, papers, cardboards, and other recyclable items; as well as used batteries of motorcycles, trucks, cellphones, radios and flashlights. Romblon mat bags, or bayongs in the local dialect, were also distributed to the first 100 hundred people who bought foodstuffs inside the public market to encourage Loonanons to use environment-friendly shopping bags or containers. In bottom photo is SK National Federation President Jane Censoria Cajes who was specially invited to grace the occasion. The national youth leader from Trinidad town, who wowed the audience with her beauty and intelligence, lauded the project of the LGU and promised to return to triplicate the distribution of the bayongs to Loon public market shoppers.
