A SALESMAN of a Laguna-based automobile parts company was found dead early Tuesday in Antipolo Drive, Tumaga village in Zamboanga City.
Police Station 7 commander Felixberto Martinez said the victim, Lucas Cabot, 42, was found dead around 4:30 a.m. with a bullet wound in the nape.
Cabot was a sales representative of the Wurth Company based in Cabuyao, Laguna.
Police investigation revealed that the victim was seen having a drinking spree the whole day Monday together with his co-employee and long-time partner identified as Vandolf Cañete in a store in Guiwan village.
Martinez said Cabot and Cañete parted ways around 9 p.m. Monday after the victim received several text messages from his wife to go home.
Cabot went home alone on foot passing along the road of Apolinario Loop in the village of Guiwan, but he was found dead Tuesday morning in Tumaga village.
Martinez said the victim's wallet containing undetermined cash, brochure and official receipts of Wurth Company and list of personalities as firm's debtors were missing.
Investigation continues to identify Cabot's assailants, Martinez said. (Bong Garcia)
