Consumers assured of sufficient supply of Noche Buena products in Antique stores
SAN JOSE De BUENAVISTA, Antique, Dec 20 (PNA) -- Supply of Noche Buena products in the supermarkets and major grocery stores in Antique is sufficient, as assured by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Antique provincial office.
Glen Fernando of the DTI Antique, on Tuesday, said that they have not received complaints on possible shortage of Noche Buena products.
Gaisano and Robinson’s Mall in Antique’s capital town San Jose de Buenavista have enough stocks like ham, queso de bola, pasta and milk products, he said when he made an ocular inspection of the two establishments on Monday.
“There are tie-up products like spaghetti with sauce and other promotional sales, which are advantageous to consumers,†he said.
He said that DTI will be intensifying its monitoring as more consumers are expected to shop this week in preparation for December 24-25.
He also reminded establishment owners and consumers to always be guided by the Suggested Retail Price (SRP).
“We have distributed SRP posters in different stores for their reference,†Fernando added. (PNA)
