Excessive ra bitaw pood na, Beth. Pero you are a very smart and intelligent woman. You know I remember when I was in pre-K in Bohol Wisdom back in 1990 and the teacher would inspect our fingernails if it was clean and cut. If it wasn't she would strike our hands with a ruler.

I do wonder if the educational system in the Philippines is the same for today. Do they still implement the same disciplinary style?

Speaking of being hit by a ruler, I was in Grade 3 when somebody behind me was making noise.  Our teacher, Ms. Paredes, thought it was me.  I still can't believe she thought it was me when I wasn't a noisy student and in fact, I was actively participating in classes.  Anyway, she hit my hand with a ruler.  I couldn't remember the physical pain but boy I was so emotionally hurt.  I cried so hard even when I was walking my way home.  That night a had severe fever and for the first time I was brought to the hospital due to high fever.  My Dad learned about the incident in school because my cousin neighbor told my parents about it.  My Dad went to our school to talk to our teacher.  When I came back after one week of being in the hospital, my teacher appeared embarassed to me. 

That is really what i thought kay you guys are funny too. Dont you know nga ug mag chat mi ni Tiya sigi ra mi ug katawaha? i was wondering where you guys got your sense of humor. Now i know! it runs in your blood jud diay! hahahha
