My flight for Newark was at 8:50AM and I arrived at 12 noon. I was so happy to see my sister, my two brothers. The drive home was BEAUTIFUL.

I shall post the growth of my beard in the thread.

After arriving back home, my father, myself, my sister and 2 brothers bought pizzas for the nursing staff at the hospital where my parents work at.

We brought pizzas for the ICU staff and the PCU staff.

I was surprised to know that the staff knows about me. Haha, brings smile to my face to see the staff full of smiles. And it reminds me of the 'team' approach of medicine.

Love it.

i was decorating for Christmas.

We had the continuation of our employees' Christmas party last night...karon puro laklak nalang jud we are at the casino (same place as last night) and im getting drunk now...

Im only using our employee's blackberry, maajo pa ang employee naa pay blackberry! ang amo wala! shalan.

mao ni akong hinimo nga bird feeders from scratch. i made so much kay they are very expensive ug paliton sa market...ingon si banana mag factory ba daw ko ug bird feeders!

2 years ug 1 year old pa ni sila duha. magsige man ni tawn ug pangayo ug milk ang duha labi sa gabii. halos 2 bottles (200ml) of milk ilang maconsume kada usa nila.

excited nato sila. they already got their christmas presents from their ninongs/ninangs and their uncles/aunties, titos/titas. nalingaw ang maguwang kay he got a big remote toy car from his uncle who just came from qatar.

Getting ready for Christmas Dinner?

Kami diri ning palit na mi ug food supplies kai mo luto na mi ugma para sa Christmas Eve Dinner. Plano mo adto pood mi sa balay sa akong Ante ug Uncle. The house is so active and alive this season. I love this Christmas spirit jud.

actually my in-laws keeps on calling us because they wanted us and the kids to be with them on christmas eve. same thing with my parents but i think we can't make it because my wife is still going to have work on the 24th. maybe by 25th we can go there. we will just celebrate christmas at home with some pasta, chicken, macaroni and fruit salad maybe, wine and ice cream and nuggets. we already have the food to prepare, it will be cooking time for me as im the one left at home. my kids love to eat chicken nuggets that's why we included it in the menu plus their favorite pineapple juice.

With the Holy Father's encouragement of the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, the traditional practice of offering a Votive Mass of Our Lady in Advent has come back and already become a regular part of the Advent Season. Rorate Masses - so called because the Introit begins with the words Rorate coeli desuper - are often celebrated in the early morning. The practice of celebrating them purely by candlelight in Germany and Austria has spread - a practice which is alluded to in the writings of Pope Benedict who described the Rorate Mass as an important part of the realization of his own priestly vocation.

Of course, one of the really wonderful things about the current emphasis on the Extraordinary Form is that we can begin to regain many of the traditions that have been laid aside in the misinterpretation of the Conciliar mind. There is nothing stopping a priest from celebrating an Ordinary Form Votive Mass of Our Lady in Advent - indeed it should be actively encouraged! The older Form of the Mass informs our use of the Ordinary Form and brings us to a clearer understanding of the roots of the liturgy. Many parishes celebrate Advent and Christmas with candlelit services late in the evening - this is nothing new! The Rorate Mass gives the congregation just this opportunity and, whilst traditionally this is celebrated early in the morning, there seems no reason why it could be held in the evening under the newer dispensation.

So, Parish Clergy, don't dread that Advent Carol Service or Service of Light before Christmas. Instead, get out your finest white vestments, get a choir in to sing some beautiful music and let the ancient liturgy of the church do the talking.

I attended a Rorate mass for the first time 7.15 in the morning, it´s still dark, after the mass a candle was distributed for tonight. This is a special candle (12 inches long)brought all the way from Bethlehem, Israel, the place of Nativity. I was so happy!

Though it's a rainy Christmas in Germany, the joyous spirit of the seasons is around.  Had called my Family in Bohol, talked each one of them who were there for the Noche Buena. Attended the children's mass at 4:00 o'clock pm, lighted my window x'mas decors, my beautiful natural Christmas tree, cooked  the traditional German foods,  having a light exchanging gifts. A silent night.... and I miss home! Wish to be there!

Last night, my friends Brian, Tom, Lee and John came to pick me up. Surprised me, actually. We went out for a guy's night out. Out to dinner then watched some movies at Lee's place. Great time; just hanging out with the guys. Its hard to believe that its been 5 years since we graduated high school.

I'm just happy to know that my friends will never change. God willing we keep and uphold our friendships.

went to church with the whole family since we were not able to make it in the new year's eve mass since my kids are a bit afraid of the firecrackers. we just joined the whole neighborhood in somewhat our own version of a street party till midnight waiting for the new year.
