The Cathedral of Santa Eulalia, Spain

Barcelona Cathedral - The Cathedral of Santa Eulalia is the Gothic cathedral seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Barcelona. The cathedral was constructed throughout the 13th to 15th centuries on top of a former Visigothic church. The cathedral is dedicated to Eulalia of Barcelona, co-patron saint of Barcelona, a young virgin who, according to Catholic tradition, suffered martyrdom during Roman times in Barcelona. The cathedral has a secluded Gothic cloister where thirteen white geese are kept (it is said that Eulalia was 13 when she was murdered).

Pope Benedict XVI Visits the Church of the Holy Sepulchre

Pope Benedict XVI prays at the Golgotha, or Calvary, the traditional site where Jesus was crucified, in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on May 15, 2009 in Jerusalem's Old City, Israel. During his first visit as Pope to one of the holiest sites in Christendom, Benedict preached a message of hope for all mankind at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, telling his audience that "love is stronger than death".

Since its blood was not taken into the Holy Place, you should have eaten the goat in the sanctuary area, as I commanded." Leviticus 10:18

Here's the new Divine Mercy Shrine in the Philippines. In the Heart of Jesus where the rays are emanating from, is a chapel where the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. The rays are stairs leading to the chapel. The structure on the bottom of the statue is another chapel. Isn't it beautiful?

Dong, is that Divine Mercy Shrine somewhere in Mindanao?  I heard the one near CDO is so huge.  Our parish priest donated a couple of thousands of rosaries for that Shrine.  If that's the one in the picture you shared, your Ate Lumine had visited that place sometime back.  I wish to go there pohon, maluoy Ginoo.

Yes, Ate Ging. It is situated in the heart of Muslim Mindanao and the reason why it is so important because it spearheads the Christian Faith in a predominantly muslim region. The fact that it was built and has evaded attacks by radicals is a miracle in itself.

I want to visit this Divine Mercy Shrine pohon, Maluuy ang Ginoo.
