My Lord Jesus.
No words can explain or describe my Love for Him.
My Lord Redeems me. My Lord Justifies me. My Lord EMPOWERS me.
My Lord guides me what to say. My Lord who showers His Grace on me.

Jesus is MY Strength.
The One and Only.

I totally agree with you, Father.  God manifest His love to us through our friends and family and even strangers.

Ug ma worried ko sa hospital mo pray lang ko.
"Jesus, strengthen me. Strengthen me.
Jesus calm my hand so that I may heal the bodies of my brothers.
Jesus give me confidence so that I may make the right decision.
Jesus justify me that I may not stumble, for my foot rests in your Name."

He strengthens me.
Always.
He empowers me.
He uplifts my spirit.
For I can do all things through HIM who strengthens me. ;D

My spiritual strength:

Hearing stories from good samaritans. Hearing the stories of Ate Ging feeding the poor, doing food drives, attending masses for the recently departed, nursing home volunteering etc.

It reminds me that there are, indeed, many good people out there that still show the epitome of a 'Good Samaritan'.

Other is hearing Fr. Ranulfo's sermons on Saturday Mass. Ma rejuvinated ko and ma-inspired pood ko for the upcoming week.

Another source of strength for me is the Blessed Eucharist.
Adoration of the Blessed Eucharist--mo angay jud ko ana.
Mo sit down ko sa chapel for hours--ug naa koy time. Peaceful kaayo ug uplifting ang experience.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you, Pads. Pasalamat na lang ta nga naa'y TB. Honestly, right now, I'm just drawing strength from the thought that I will finally be joining my family for good next year.

Mao na. Hehehe. Bitaw I'm just being silly here kay way lingaw; makabuang ning layo tas atong lupang sinilangan... dawaton na lang nato ning atong pa'd.

How 'bout sleeping Enz? Allowing God to rejuvenate both your physical and mental, and spiritual too... as in resting in God? That's why God invented sleeping, it's recreative hehehe... Uyon ba ka?

he he he he!
Sleeping is a Gift of the Lord, too!
You are right Father. :)

Mo tulug pood ko ug maka human ko sa work nako,
Maluuy ang Ginoo nako kai daghan ko sa ahong worries right now.
Daghang patients that I have to deal with, that combined with theory work for classes,
and juggling emotional feelings for my family etc.

Kinsa man mo hold nako? Wa jud ko yamo ug di pa sa GINOO.
Sija man jud ning uphold nako, sija mo uplift my spirits,
sija mo dry my tears when I am homesick for my family.

Ah, tinuud ka Father. Ang Ginoo bitaw mo rejuvnate nato. Body and Soul. :)

Kining pagkatulog, mao jud ni ang labing lalim ug labing barato nga tambaw. King or vagabond, makapahuway jud ang tanang parte sa lawas.
Apan matod pa ni Edmund Spenser,

"Where is the antique glory now become,
What whilom wont in women to appear?
Where be the brave achievements doen by some?
Where be the battles, where the shield and spear,
And all the conquests, which them high did rear,
That matter made for famous poet's verse,
And boastful men so oft abashed to hear?
Bene theyall dead, and laid in doleful hearse?
Or doen they only sleep, and shall again reverse?"

;D

God, our Supreme Being and my parents! I always believe He has plans for me so when I am going through my "lows" in my life. I never forget my daily prayers. I am a fervent believer in prayers.

My parents also gives me strength knowing that they have through so many rough times and they were able to surpass them, did not lose their faith in God and the ability to see things through.

In God's Word.

His Word is strength.
Strength to overcome even the mountains.

whenever i wanted to have a relaxed mind, i go this place of a friend.

lingkod sa lantay nga gahirig daan ang sandiganan, order mainom, tagay;

while holding the glass, all i do is stare at the stars.

taht is why sometimes they ask me ug pila na kuno tanan ang stars, wa paqy labot ang anak ug ang nangamatay.....

hmmm mora lawom man ni kaajo, bro.
It really does drive the notion of existentialism to the core.
Because you know some of the stars we see at night are already dead, it took billions of years for the light to reach our solar system and to be witnessed by our own eyes in that particular moment.

Literally. The past comes alive.

So when people say, "i can see a ghost." That is true.
In this sense, in the cosmic sense, it is true.
For the stars that we see, are, indeed, ghosts. Some of the stars we see are dead stars.

Interesting.
