i am looking forward to seeing ms da binsi soon here in l.a kay grabe kaayo to mohatag ug tambag sa mga barkada na nawawala sa landas ng pag ibig! i would loved to meet mike ligalig and leo udtohan someday personally... sila ang mga nakaila nako sa webworld na nagpamata nako na naa pa diay daghan makaila pa nako na interesting and sincere people outside sa akong guilunglungan karon na bothersome na gugma especially mga bol anons na naa ra diay diri naghulat with open arms na maila ila sa Tubag Bohol!!!wow, i'm proud to be one big yoyoy villame and dagohoy fan...thank you all and magkita kita ra ta puhon tanan!

He approached me, with a very serious look on his face and said, "Hi, I don't want to cause trouble or anything, but I noticed that the TV (pointing to the TV outside the pharmacy) does not have a nice color hue. I wish you'd tell the manager to adjust the color because it upsets me."

I met a gorgeous customer today. Typical Nordic beauty--tall, slim, platinum-blonde hair, blue eyes...but man oh man, was she a major beeyotch.

She looked really good in slim jeans and stillettos, though.

Last night, i was honored to have met a Filipino student in my college, who comes from Pangasinan, Philipines. Though he lives in Texas now with his family. It was rather odd how we first met, lol. I was in the cafeteria reading the newspaper and enjoying my chai latte and talking to my buddies Don and Bryan, when this guy came up to me out of nowhere and asked in strong tagalog "Pilipino ka?". Outright, I answered "oo Pilipino ko". He sat with us and we began talking about our home province--him talking about Pangasinan and I talking about Bohol and Central Visayas. Conversation was over 3 hours long--as we talked about almost everything, hahaha. His name is Marc DeNueva.

Reading this thread made me realize how very true it is what my parents tell me, "a Filipino will immediately recognize a fellow compatriot". The fact that Marc came up to me, even without meeting me or talking to me before, and asked that I was a Filipino--and our ensuing long conversation, proves that statement. Mostly, i was happy and content to talk to him in my very limited Tagalog--and at times slipped some distinctly Bisayan phrases. But he realized that I was from the Visayas--and asked alot about where I came from etc. As I did the same.

I think Mike said this earlier in another thread, and I think it makes sense and applies to my meeting with Mr. Marc DeNueva, "Blood smells Blood". The Filipino Blood.

I've talked to a woman from an old folks home, gi-interview ko kay pa-praktison ko work didto pero walay bayad, dili ko oi kay kapoy nya walay bayad.. kung daghan pa siguro ko kwarta ok ra pero, in need manko, ngita lng ko lain.

I met a really wonderful person today.

He's a new customer. He came to get the saline nasal spray that we special ordered for him.

He's an older gentleman, about 50 years old.

He was such a happy person. So different from the usual kind I deal with all day.

I wonder why some people just seem to be happy. They wake up happy, and they go to bed happy.

They radiate a special aura about them. These people are lucky.

I'm glad to have met him though. It's always nice to meet a happy person, it's infectious.

See? i didnt see that guy but i felt happy too...

but you know what C2? we cant really control the mood of all people...

they are worst when they are sick..

in your line of business, for sure there are lots of nutty and you know "didnt feel well" people...

but you know what? pareha ra na sa akong work sa una...

patience ra gyud pang laban ana and after all... it feels fulfilling afterwards... di ba???

Honestly, I love the company I work for right now. My previous company, it was like hell on earth. So now, I try to appreciate what I have. I don't really have that much to complain about. Ka hinumdum ka adtong gi ingon ni Oprah nga, when you wake up, list or think of 5 things you are grateful for. I try to do that. Kung mag sugod na gani ko'g complain, I think of the blessings that God has given me. It keeps me from being negative about my life.
