It is an American-style fast-food restaurant with Filipino-influenced dishes specializing in burgers, spaghetti, chicken and some local Filipino dishes. Currently the biggest fast-food chain in the country, it also has locations in the United States, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong. Jollibee is also the name of their mascot, a large bee in a blazer, shirt and chef's hat.Please click to read more and see pictures:

The other side of being a Filipino icon i could say it also helps the Filipino people like me. I have been one of the pioneers part time student staffs on its first opening at Plaza Marcella. I could say that its was a good training for me. It help me boost my confidence and social communication. Plus nakatabang gyud sa akong pag-iskwela.

Jolibee was conceived to cater the needs of the Filipino masses in terms of taste and ambiance. World class ang appeal but still pangpamilya pa. Sad to say that the younger generations could identify so easily the picture of the their mascot than with our Filipino heroes, and even Jesus Christ!
