Yes bitaw, one of my rules that is enforced strictly whenever we're in the lab room is no shorts, nor flip flops, for girls-no hair longer than your shoulders, or at least tied in a not, no low shirts that shows bellybuttons, no eating, no drinking, no smoking, no drug paraphernalia in lab rooms. Pero in lecture rooms they are allowed to bring food and some drinks b/c we meet quite early in the morning during lab lecture.
This is just basic rules kai ug dili sila mo follow, ako man responsible for their safety, specially when we're dealing with blue flame, titration, acids, and spectrometers.
I told them in the beginning of the class: If you do not expect to follow my rules, do not expect to pass my class.
My 2ndary rule for them is : You are taking a 300 level biology course, please dress appropriately that distinguishes yourself.
Strict ra sigoro ko, pero, di man ko willing to take the chance of someone getting hurt, and endangering myself and my professors above me.
