You're most welcome, Isles. In 2007, I had a hard time in choosing which path I should take. From sophomore year in college till the last year, I was part of the Newman Catholic Association in college and took weekly prayer retreats to Erie, Pennsylvania at the diocesan center. You see, I was seriously considering entering St. Mary's Catholic Seminary after college. I was seriously considering the vocation of royal priesthood. I was torn between the professional and family expectation of going into medicine and the internal drive within me to consider the priesthood. I was unable to sleep for many, many nights. Until I talked to my spiritual director, Fr. Jim H, who counseled me to pray for spiritual discernment. He introduced to me this litany for internal peace. I prayed for discernment and within a couple of weeks, my prayers were answered by the Holy Spirit.

I chose medicine.

I was having a good time with my foot massage when my phone rang...naaksidente akong papa sa motor.. nikalit lang ug tabok ang iro wala na kahimo ug break akong papa..so natumba siya ang left shoulder niya ang napuruhan.. at the hospital, the doctor said kelangan i.semento ang iyang shoulder kay nagcrack bitaw ang bone niya.. salamat na lang kay overall okay ra akong papa.. thank you Lord!!!

fellow filipinos who are in bohol good thing i dont have any filipino friends  in my area and the three filipinos here (one kindergarten teacher, 2 in a band) are people that i would rather stay away from ....

a couple of years of college in tagbilaran were my unhappiest years as a young woman, probably for the same reasons as you have.  our father had to transfer me back to cebu because he noticed, rightly so, that i would never finish schooling there the way things were going.  those were years i'd rather forget, but couldn't.  one just does not forget bohol.

Hangover treatment

Here are tips on preventing a hangover:

    * Some people recommend foods and drinks that contain fructose (such as fruit juice or honey). However, there is very little scientific evidence to show that fructose will help your body burn the alcohol faster -- that is, get the alcohol out of your body faster.
    * Eat well, if possible. Electrolyte solutions and bouillon soup are good for replacing the salt and potassium you lose from drinking alcohol.
    * Get plenty of rest. Most hangovers are gone within 24 hours. Remember, even if you feel good the morning after heavy drinking, the lasting effects of alcohol will reduce your ability to perform at your best.
    * Avoid taking any medications for your hangover that contain acetaminophen (such as Tylenol), because it may cause liver damage when combined with alcohol.
