This week started my 2nd week for my Ph.D class on Advanced Research Methods and Statistics. I recently turned in my my last paper with the help of Isles, who is my helper editor (way to go Isles, wohoo!) and after coming to class, I had to present the basic synopsis of my findings and on possible problems with qualitative methods. I presented possible loop holes and future research additions.
As soon as I finished and surrendered the floor to questions, I was literally attacked by questions by some of my classmates, I have one classmate who was continually repeating why I prefered qualitative research, and that i should have gone for a quantitative approach.
We had a conversation afterwards and compared our research pathway.
This guy is no joke; we had a lot to talk about and in the end of the day, i found another issue i should address in the upcoming final paper for this class.
PS. I would like to give a big thanks to Isles for reading over 2 of my Ph.D doctoral papers so far. She's really an angel.
