praying, sleeping, reading until i fall asleep.  that includes reading tb until i could read no more because i'm already asleep in front of my laptop.

If diri sa mall sa Phils, stressful ang mall Ate. Alingog-ngog. Too many sources of noises. Each store outlet in a mall has its own sound system.

If I'm really stressed, I will open a nice cold bottle of ice wine. Take a glass with me and sit in my living room at night and put on some of Sade's Songs. Jazz Therapy con vino. ;)

If I am really really stressed, get on my knees and pray. He has never abandoned me.

  nephews nagganayan niadto mi sa SM, sa ground floor naay dako nga restaurant

The stress level of my current job is really very high, as a result, I am totally drained and exhausted at the end of the day. Running remove my stress, the breeze calms me down or if I not go to workouts. Swimming is nice alternative.

For emotional stress, I normally sit down in the computer and write. 

But when I feel that the clouds and earth sandwiched my sanity, I go to the range and shoot 100 rounds or more. Feel great after that...

Mag gardening makawala jud ni sa akong stress labi na samtang nag ibot ibot ko sa sagbot akong iro si Blacky magpauraray pud sa akong kilid makawala jud ug stress.
Mag hapjod hapjod sa ahong iring heheheh makawala pud ug stress ning mananap oi.
Most effective of all is when I'm cooking. I can cook all day and guarantee nga dili ko ma stress.

I have Glock 22, but the one I normally carry and use shooting is Taurus 22 (the ammo is cheap that's why)

Very nice. The G is smooth like a Caddy; the Magnum is rough, the trick is shooting it with one hand (my Uncle Steve taught me a trick to shoot it the right way).

There is nothing like shooting a gun. A surge of testosterone comes over you. My sister is actually a sharpshooter; she's great with rifles and accurate with them. I think the last time we were there she unloaded about 15 Yugoslavian SKS clips, 5 or so M16 clips.

I joked with her, "You should have been a sniper..."

She replied, "Yea, i should've..."

ha ha ha.

I have good marksmanship but am really slow in drawing my weapon, and I am  left eye dominant and a right hand shooter.  However,  I already fixed that, I shoot with both my eyes open. Sometimes our range will not allowed us to fire from the holster. I hate doing indoor actually.

That must be quite a trick, being left eye dominated yet right handed. That's pin point accuracy. You must be really, really good. :)

such great stress-relieving exercises you two have!  to each his own, truly. 

tried practice shooting twice before, with a magnum and an m16.  i turned cold soon after and promised never to do it again.  besides, i can never be a good shot.  where i aim for the point between the eyes, i ended up shooting between the balls.

but if push comes to shove, i'd prefer a bazooka.

That's what counts, Lady Wolf, the essence of mastering the art of shooting (or any hobby at that--in this case, shooting--being an expensive hobby) and perfecting the form. My Uncle is actually the one that introduced me to shooting, and it takes credible time and patience to shoot the right way (responsibly, that is), and to dominate the shot. One thing that I realized and found out about shooting is that its how we control our breathing, perfect aim.

As for cost of shells, my Uncle Steve actually solved this by making his own cartridges.

Keep on shooting, Lady Wolf, and keep on perfecting your goals. For sure, you will attain them.

Marksmanship, is what counts the most. An example is my sister, she is an innate sharpshooter (in terms of academics, and in terms of shooting, haha).

It takes her a while to shoot, but her shots are dead-on accurate, even on the 100, to 300 yard range. (no scopes used, btw).

In battlefield tactics, it is the sniper who holds the higher ground. A well-hidden sharshooter sniper may not fire as rapidly as a platoon of assault troops (armed with rifles), but for sure, a sniper can wipe out an entire platoon..with his/her accuracy.


Moral: It's not the quantity, its the quality that counts...

Marksmanship, is what counts the most. An example is my sister, she is an innate sharpshooter (in terms of academics, and in terms of shooting, haha).

It takes her a while to shoot, but her shots are dead-on accurate, even on the 100, to 300 yard range. (no scopes used, btw).

In battlefield tactics, it is the sniper who holds the higher ground. A well-hidden sharshooter sniper may not fire as rapidly as a platoon of assault troops (armed with rifles), but for sure, a sniper can wipe out an entire platoon..with his/her accuracy.


Moral: It's not the quantity, its the quality that counts...
