Tsunami Hits Indonesia

The death toll of tsunami in West Sumatra of Indonesia has reached 112 people, while 109 others are still missing, data shows on Wednesday.

The tsunami hit two islands of Pagai Selatan Mentawai and Pagai Utara Mentawai in West Sumatra after the 7.2 magnitude quake.

Based on the data of crisis center in Padang, as many as 112 people were killed, 109 are missing and 520 others took refuge.

Meanwhile, 579 houses are heavily damaged and 300 got mild damage. (PNA/Xinhua)
