Satellite images show the J-35 fighter being lined alongside the J-15 Flying Shark fighters that already operate from China's two existing Aircraft Carriers.
This is the first time we've seen J-35s, China's counterpart to the American/Western F-35; they're used for training for combat operations.
The J-35 is a fifth-generation, carrier-based stealth fighter jet, and it is China's second indigenously manufactured fifth-generation fighter after the J-20.
Only China, Russia, and the United States have indigenously developed fifth-generation fighters. Russia possesses the Su-57 Felon, the United States possesses the F-117 Nighthawk, the F-22 Raptor, and the F-35 Lightning II, and China possesses the J-20 Mighty Dragon and the J-35 Gyrfalcon.
