Indians killed in Istanbul nightclub terror attack -- FM

NEW DELHI, Jan. 2 (PNA/Xinhua) -- India on Sunday said that two of its nationals were among 39 people killed in the Istanbul nightclub terror attack.

"I have a bad news from Turkey. We have lost two Indian nationals in the Istanbul attack. Indian Ambassador is on way to Istanbul," Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted.

The attack happened at Reina nightclub, one of the city's most exclusive party spots, early Sunday morning when some 700 revellers were marking the New Year.

A man dressed as Santa Claus reportedly entered the club around 1:15 a.m. local time and started firing at random, killing 39 people, including 15 foreign nationals, and injuring more than 65 others.

Police in Turkey have launched a manhunt to track down the attacker who had left the gun at the nightclub before fleeing the spot. (PNA/Xinhua)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
