Four die in Fujairah car crash

Fujairah: Four Filipinos were killed in a horrific car accident on the Masafi-Fujairah highway on Wednesday afternoon, a police source said.

A fifth Filipino was in a critical condition in a Fuj-airah hospital.

The accident occurred in the Defta area on the highway after the car in which the five were travelling swerved and hit the mountain-side before catching fire.

The cause of the accident is not immediately known but police authorities have in the past warned motorists to observe speed limits, especially in dangerous mountain areas, on public holidays.

The accident occurred as traffic police stepped up patrols on key roads and highways while the UAE celebrated Eid Al Adha.

Vito, do you have the names of the Filipinos?

I can't imagine sa gibati sa mga pamilya karon especially kadtong naay mga anak.

May the Lord comfort the grieving families.

Adz, salamat sa pag post sa news.  Taga asa bitaw nang mga na aksidente?  Kaluoy gajud sa pamilya na ga agwanta kamingaw para lang maka trabaho sa gawas unya patay na pagpauli.  Pasko pa jud! sorry mike, i dont have the names yet coz i just read it  in the  gulf news and i was shocked...imagine 4 dies in a single day and 1 was critical...My sister is not  online this time its a holiday in UAE.Maybe later  i will contact my  sister and ask the names of those Filipinos.
    I remembered one time  we with my  families of the  church went to  Fujairah to had a prayer walked its a long journey 2 hours b4 u reached to that place. It’s a small emirate, few people living over there. Nice beach. Imagine the view of manila bay, just like that but there you can see some of the US aircraft carrier...  Arabic people living don’t know how to speak english,they speak with their own language if you want to communicate them u must speak arabic. There are also few Filipino working there...Fujairah is Rocky place too.
  It's a sad story .....
